DO NOT STAY IN THIS DISGUSTING MOTEL! The reviews on this motel were mixed so we decided to give it a chance since it was the cheapest last minute football game day option. I mean how bad could it possible be? As it turns out… very very very bad. I hope that this review will prevent you from making the same terrible mistake that we did. After arriving I walked over to the bed to set my stuff down and heard a crunch. I looked down to see that I had just stepped on a dead cockroach. While I was in the bathroom there were several bugs scurrying back and forth across the floor. The towel that was left on top of the toilet had a few small dead bugs on it. The shower curtain was hanging on a PVC pipe (not even a shower rod). The bed sheets and comforter had stains all over them. The stove that was in our room was missing all of the knobs, had old aluminum foil over the burners, and was completely filthy. The fridge also looked very dirty. We decided NOT to sleep in this room and drove 4+ hours back home after the football game instead. We got the feeling that things would be crawling all over us throughout the night and didn’t want to risk picking up something (like bedbugs). Although her English was somewhat hard to understand, the staff was friendly enough when we first arrived. It was a little odd that the lady at the front desk kept asking us to “please leave a good review online. ” There was no reasoning with the manager when we tried to get a refund for the room.
