We stayed the night for the FSU/Virginia Tech game. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fine. There seemed to be something for everyone, and it was kept well stocked. Prices were really high for what this hotel is, but that was most likely due to the football game. I would stay here again.

Great management, service, rooms and breakfast. Always take care of our needs. Thank you for a kind service.

Comfortable night sleep in king size bed, fair price with good hot breakfast. The only reason I didn't give 5th star is because walls are a little thin. I would definitely continue to stay here when I'm in the area and I 100% recommend County Inn & Suites.

Really like it. We stayed here coming to and leaving vacation. Great staff and clean rooms. I especially like the down feather pillow and blanket. Big variety of breakfast but if you have a special diet call ahead to make sure that there is something you can eat before expecting to eat.

While the room did serve its purpose, the quality of this hotel was not at all to the quality of a usual country inn and suites. For the price we payed I could've gone to a Hampton inn and had a much better experience. The hotel is in major need of some upgrades, namely the carpet and the elevator. The pool area was nice, which explains why it's their profile photo, however the corners were full of huge spiders and webs and the water was freezing in early July in FLORIDA! I definitely expected a lot more out of the company than what I was prestented with.

It's an older property getting updated. There is still work to be done, but it's clean and quiet, all I really expect in a hotel. Bathroom was recently remodeled and for some reason there is no shelf, soap dish, etc. In the shower which is odd, but not a show stopper. For the $ it's a fine hotel.

Friendly staff. Stay was fine. Maybe a bit needed to be updated here and there but all in all a good time.

I have been staying in Tallahassee all week for a loved one in the hospital. I was staying at the Best Western next door to this hotel. Best Western, a beautiful / clean property, was booked for the weekend. I had to move. I moved next door based on Expedia pictures and reviews. I am not happy with my accommodations. I turned on the light to the bathroom and could not miss the filth staring me in the face from the toilet. If they don’t clean the toilets, what else do they not clean? If it were not so late, and so difficult to find a room this weekend, I would leave this property. I’ve attached just a couple of pictures. The blue thing on the floor is a maintenance rag doubling as a door stop. There was an exposed electrical outlet IN THE SHOWER! This property is overpriced and outdated. The price I paid for this room tonight, was the same price I paid for the Best Western last night. At best, this is a $50 a night hotel. Just not happy.

The hotel is right off the interstate and close to FSU. All of the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and breakfast is also included. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place.

Me being a charter bus driver, a comfortable bed is paramount to getting my rest to drive and this hotel is great and can't forget Ms Natasha preparing a good breakfast to get me going ❤❤

The rooms were fine, other than the roach that was stuck in our vent in the bathroom it was huge by the way. Room 219. The lady at the front desk was nice but the lady stocking the buffet was not. I told her “hi so the waffle maker stuff is out. ” I was very friendly. She looked at me, didn’t say anything, and walked away. Still didn’t change it by the time I was leaving, had the stuff to, but she was taking her sweet old time. And the food they were serving was okay, just potatoes eggs and sausage and some cereal. There was also bananas apples and then yogurt. But they were always out of everything, I didn’t get to eat.

The young Man at the front desk was so nice & helpful. Always asking did I need anything. The cookies are delicious! ***Breakfast was great & Natasha is so inviting & amazing*** She walked around asking everyone how is everything & do they need anything. She talks to the kids etc making sure were all comfortable & full. I haven't seen such hospitality like hers in such a long time. Thank you Ms. Natasha for being wonderful.

We checked in to this room on our way home from a week at Disney… exhausted. We stayed here for the extra room on the pull-out sofa. Worst night of my life. First … there was NO blanket with the bed covers for the sofa bed. NO Extra blanket in the closet. I used bath towels for cover. The mattress was as thin as a little day care mat. VERY uncomfortable! Won't do this again…

The breakfast was amazing did not have to leave for get breakfast my entire stay. However now running in to problem where I left earlier than my stay and the hotel manager refuses to return my money and never check me out so Expedia will not return my funds. So they can get profits they kept my money and then book the room to someone else, what kind of company does this? So, if you decide to pay in full make sure you stay the entire time.

I give it 5 stars all because of Natasha the lady that does the breakfast. Every morning for the last 4 days she has greeted everyone with the best service. The hotel comfort isn't all that but she definetly makes up for the negative if the place. I would definetly come back here just because of her.

Pleasant stay. Clean, safe, comfortable. Good breakfast. Very friendly staff. Only complaint is that when we first arrived, the sofa bed had a pile of old sheets/blanket on it that had not been changed. The front desk moved us to a different room.

This hotel was marvelous! We were Irma refugees from Charlotte county. Wonderful, friendly staff, accommodated us with our small dogs and helped all the guests make the best of a very stressful situation! We will stay here again as we have a student at FSU and spend several weekends here every year!

My family and I had a four day stay there. I found the place to be clean, friendly with helpful staff. I will stay there again on my next visit to Tallahassee. That's for sure.

Me and my family stayed here the weekend of June 23rd part of my family went Friday and the rest of us came Saturday. As it was time for the kids to lay down and go to bed they found bed bugs. So we reported it the front desk they gave us another room and this room had hair all on the sofa and bedroom sheets. So we left the hotel 1030 at night and came home. Sunday morning I called corporate and reported the hotel they was very nice about it so they informed that it will take two business days for the hotel owner to call us back. The hotel owner called us back within two days but he was very rude and made the comment it is not his or his staff responsibility to check to see there is bed bugs in the room and to make sure the rooms mattresses are clean. My mom got bitten by the bed bugs and when asked about them paying for her doctor bills he told us no that not his responsibility. I will be calling corporate on him again to report him. Just wanted to leave this review so that no one stays at his hotel because he was mad because we left other reviews about the hotel having bed bugs.

We were called twice after we fell asleep at 10:30pm by the front desk about multiple cards failing for incidentals before in was discovered that the mistake was on their end. Of course there wasn't a manager on duty at that time, but we were told he would be there at 9am the next day. We waited until 9:30 to check out so that we could speak with him, and he didn't show up to work that day. Highly disappointed in Ravi and his staff. We will not be back. The hotel was overpriced and outdated regardless of the issues at the front desk.

I actually haven't even stayed yet made my reservations and had to call to see if mine and my rooms could be beside each other since she's disabled and needs me at times. The woman I talked to on phone was very very rude and had a attitude from the start. I don't have time to find other accomadations and it's paid for but I will never book here again especially after reading other views I see the employees are rude quiet frequently.

Stayed at the east (3080 walden) location for the first time. Literally only one employee gave a crap about us or was polite for the entire 2 days. We'd been travelling for over a week straight and needed a place to sleep so decided to stay. Tried to talk to the employees about roaches we found (and filmed) in a our room. They gave zero f*cks, were rude and shrugged us off. Still waiting to talk to a manager about a partial refund but we'll be lucky if anyone gets off their butts to do Anything there.
And the breakfast and the gym were sh*t.

An awesomeb place to stay, and the customer service is top notch!

The room was very clean, comfortable, and the hotel in good place, without a lot of noises. There was coffee in the room but no coffee maker. We had a big tub with jets, but there was no bath soap in room, nor in the office. There was a place made for a small fridge, but no fridge.

The hotel is a bit off and right in front of a WalMart and a TacoBell. What to spend a good day:-) The pool smelled really bad, as were all the common areas of the hotel. The room was fine. Breakfast very average but it passes. Big problem of frequenting the neighborhood, which creates really disturbing odors.

This motel is a completely disgusting place to stay. I have never written a review for any establishment ever, but was so disturbed by this place I wanted ppl who read these reviews like myself to know what they're getting into. Sure, If you're a single guy maybe it's not too bad to just sleep at but if you have a family like myself, it isn't the place you wanna be. First off, there was a used tampon in the elevator going up to our room. Then when we get to our first room, it smelled like must and cigarettes. Smudges all over the wall, black pubic hair in the bathroom tub and then a bunch of black hairs on the mattress as well as dead ants on the mattress. After seeing this we asked for a new room. The lock on the new room was busted and missing the dead bolt? why? You could see smudges on all the furniture, etc. But after going to the store and purchasing disinfecting wipes and wiping down, felt OK to lay down and sleep. No bugs on this mattress although the whole place smells musty. This is obviously not a new problem if you read the other reviews, this goes back two years. I don't really care to read some generic response from the company, I would prefer they actually look into this and fix the problem. I feel like the worst parent for making my three young sons stay in this roach coach. If the whole town wasn't booked out for college orientation, and I didn't feel like staying in my car with my kids for 5 hrs, I would not be here.

The worst ever …. Avoid this hotel … It was the worst experience ever. I reserved two nights for our family on May, 2016 for a double bed nonsmoking room. The first look at the hotel and the room gives you a nice impression, then you will find it filthy, with a lot of bugs and roaches. First night, we got stung by many bugs, and the second I woke up finding my wife have been stung seriously on her arm. She got some ointment from the front desk which helped, thankfully. The house keeping is zero. The front desk guy was not nice first night, and I called for more than five times about different thing that I should have been informed about when he handled the room’s key to us. Then it was better for the second night because a women took place. The breakfast was nice, but the lady who was in service was not. Unfortunately, I needed every single minute to seize during my visit to Tallahassee, or I would have reported the incident of my wife and reacted differently, luckily for the hotel. I would be more satisfied if the review allows me to upload the pictures that capturing samples of what I was talking about, especially the bugs and roaches.

It was great accept Wi-Fi employees were great. Got upgraded to a suite free.

Driving up towards entrance, hotel is very presentable. However, upon entering, the pungent odor you are hit with is overwhelming and nauseating. The smell permeated throughout the hallways. Luckily our room was odor free. However, it came with its own set of issues. First, the bathtub/shower has mold all along the base where the walls of the shower meet the bathtub. It's a terrible design where water can accumulate and mold grows. Apparently the cleaning staff chooses to ignore it but to someone highly allergic to mold it was frightening. The room was very large, however the only mirror is in the bathroom but no full length mirror or magnifying mirror which I find highly useful when getting ready. Lastly, the horrible odor prevented us from taking advantage of the free breakfast bc there was no way we could eat food with that smell. As it was, I held my breath each time walking through lobby and cursing our 2-night minimum stay! Couldn't wait for check out! Would never stay here again or recommend to anyone!

I had accommodations here for an overnight stay in April of 2016. The staff was friendly, the suite was fantastic. I would recommend this as a solid choice for anyone to stay in Tallahassee.

Nice location. Continental breakfast was okay. Thinner walls, so you hear people in the rooms next to you.

The room and the facility was very nice, the dining in the morning was very crowded, and kind of small for a hotel of that size.

The hotel is presentable when you drive up to it. The gentleman that checked me in was sociable and cordial. The hotel was clean and looked modern. The we entered the room however it was hot and felt damp and smelled very musty. Totally shot down the initial impression I had of the establishment. Seemed like they had the room temp set high while it is vacant. Maybe they are trying to save on energy costs. I did not enjoy staying in the smelly room but we were tired and only staying one night so did not ask to be moved.

Dirty. Odd smell. Stains on sides of bed. Could not turn water off in shower. Run down appearance. No mirrors except in bathroom. Tiny TV. No outlet near coffee maker. Tiny square pillows. Lack of attention. Pool smell at entry. In general I could not wait till checkout.

Dirty. Stayed 10-25-15 to 10-27-15 I wound up having to clean ac vents and 2 filters full of dirt dust probably mold. Management stated units cleaned including filters twice a year. Seriously? As a asthma sufferer along with dust allergies I was wondering why I was feeling horrible. Also tub peeling because ceramic coating bleeding through. Furniture stained. I washed in the sink. Refused to step in tub. And this was 2nd room I switched this stay. I won't be returning.

This Hotel was great! I don't know what these other reviews are referring to, but we didn't experience any problems. The rooms were clean and the staff were very kind and professional! If you stay at this hotel, I would recommend stopping by the breakfast in the morning, lots of variety and they have hot items like scrambled eggs! We will definitely stay here again!
