The last 4 years I've stayed here was great but this wk end! Shut the place down and start over!. A van down by the river would of been a better choice!

Great staff! Very friendly and accommodating! They spoiled our 4 Legged Baby as well as our girls. Felt very safe and comfortable the entire time. Will stay here again for sure! Love the area as well!

Rooms had a musty
Smell. I was moved
Twice. They had dehumidifiers in the rooms that had to be dumped every few hours. The room was to be discounted and I never heard from
The manager and my credit card bill stayed the same.

Very friendly staff and lots of amenities.

The three times we stayed before room clean and fresh. This last time the room had an odor, we were given an deodorizer which helped. Stayed the next two at the Dixie Belle Hotel.

Great place to stay. Hospitality at its finest and the price is right. Shena and the other girl (forgot her name) are excellent take care of all your needs.

The air conditioner was broken the room smelled like fish tight for three people and the went ahead and charged us slipped the receipt under the door. The ic machine did no work on our floor and we had to fin ha out our selves we aren't old even though they knew it was non functional!

Staff is kind and helpful (mostly). Good rooms. Good deal. Good pool. Would definitely stay here again.

This our 3rd time staying here we stay here in 2010, 2016 and now 2018 very nice rooms and the staff is very friendly. We in Mary Esther between Panama City and Pensacola. We just like coming to Port Saint Joe because it’s quite here. Where we live at it’s always busy:) We will be back again.

The surrounding area is very pretty, the weather around this time of the year is also pleasant. I came down for work and the hotel is right next to sacred heart hospital not even two minutes away. The room I started at is nice, a kitchen, fridge, sink, microwave. They also have paper towels supplied, spoons, forks and knives as well as pots and pans. Only thing they don't have are the new USB outlets to charge my phone as I forgot my charging port.

If you want friendly service from the front desk and a exceptionally clean room. This is the place for you! I can not praise the staff here enough. Every staff member I greeted in passing, greeted me in kind. Have a question? Just ask someone at the front desk. They will be happy to answer any question you may have. (BTW… when I say exceptionally clean room… it is. I am a lead housekeeper at a resort and very anal about the cleanliness of my cottage rentals. ) So, my reason for giving this place 5 stars is due to the staff’s performance of their duties and their kindness to the guest.
I must pipe in on some of the other reviews I seen on here about people claiming they were charge money for smoking in the room when they didn’t. The staff does not get any of that money they are charged, so why would they lie? I battle the same thing. When staff walk in and smell smoke they have a duty to report it. Guest know the “ No Smoking “ rule, yet will break that rule and then when they get charged. They dare to complain and say they did not smoke when the proof is in the room! If guest do not want to be charged, it is simple. Smoke outside, not inside!
Also, it doesn’t hurt to leave a few bucks in your room if you are happy with the cleanliness of it. Much goes in to prepare these rooms for your stay.

Rooms have been updated recently. Guest service is great as well as the staff. Housekeeping service are fast and friendly. Rooms are always neat and clean. 5 stars from me!

Friendly staff, respond quickly to requests, very accomodating. Rooms are comfortable, but could use some updating. Stay here once a year, I will be back for another relaxing and comfortable stay.

Nice size rooms. We have stayed while passing through for the last few years. Super nice staff. Pool is unheated but clean. Rooms are damp. Have a hotel Smell.

Large room, new flooring, pet friendly, very courteous and helpful staff. Very clean with no strange odors. The kitchenette makes it a great value.

The room was huge and had everything needed for an extended stay; large fridge, microwave, etc. Everything was clean and well taken care of. The staff was friendly and entertaining. Breakfast was the only thing lacking in my opinion. Definitely would have liked more options.

Front desk ladies were wonderful! Room was sooo roomy. Pet friendly room was very nice. Will definitely stay here again.

Our family has stayed here in the past when we were looking for houses to buy here before we moved, and it’s always nice and friendly. Now that we live here, we tried the Escape the Room and had so much fun! It was something different to do here in St Joe, and it was both challenging and fun! I would recommend giving it a try! Ricky has put a lot of thought and effort into making it a good time for all!

Disappointed with how I've seen employees treated. Rooms are big and clean but integrity and devotion to employee's plays a huge role in where I stay.

Studio Apt size, feels like I could stay longer and be very comfortable, home away from home. Front desk staff very friendly.

If you want a very sad breakfast and a shower that blows all the water out of the tub this is the place for you. For what I paid for 1 night there should have been a hot breakfast. Dont dream of smoking on the balcony you will get the joy of payin 150 for that. Will never stay again!

The staff at this establishment is out of this world. The location Is 10 to 15 minutes from anything you would want to do in the area. The amenities were better than most places I’ve stayed. The breakfast is very basic…

This is a very nice hotel. The staff was wonderful and so is the price but one thing I really loved is the decor. The halls have a 40's style and the rooms are 60'-70's. I just loved it. I'm so bored with the "modern" looking hotels. The bad news is that I was told the owners are getting ready to "modernize" the place. It makes me pretty upset to see them "give in" to the "normal". I think they should capitalize on the look they have instead of spending a ton of money to "improve" the place. It's great the way it is.

Upon arrival the gentleman that checked us in was very nice, the 3rd night stay we came back about 10pm and were going to go swimming due to front desk telling us the night before that the pool was open till 12am to find out they just changed the ours from 8-9 how convenient the night we get back somewhat early the pool closes early. Then we get up for breakfast and I was thinking breakfast is like anyother place we have stayed with eggs, bacon, gravy all the good stuff get down to the breakfast and its oatmeal, bagel, toast, cereal and yogurt. The room on the other hand is the only thing that was pleasant for our stay, and most of the staff was very kind and helpful.

Good stay. Slept great. Spacious room. Friendly staff. Had a good tv. Shower was awesome. Wish there was more for breakfast though but no big deal.

Well I got the 2 queen suite and it was a double room so both people got there own bedroom. Was actually quite surprising. Breakfast was ok, but there was plenty of restaurants around to help. Rooms were clean, staff was very accommodating. All in all I'd say it was a great hotel. I can't speak for the other rooms but ours was perfect.

I don't typically rate a hotel with 5 stars but I really can't think of anything that wasn't good about this hotel. I booked the double queen suite and it came with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 half kitchens and a sitting area. The breakfast wasn't a full breakfast for the fact that every room has a kitchen in it but they did provide coffee, fruit and cereal. The staff was nice and everything was clean. It's a good place for a family but you'll have to drive you get to the beach. It's also right next to a hospital in case you need that.

Quiet and affordable. Stayed here for a weekend doing some charter boat fishing. Nice small hotel, no more no less.

It's clean, dated decor, nice employees, but, my biggest criticism was the overpowering perfumed cleaning products smell that permeated our room and hallways. Opening the windows and venting the bathroom did nothing. I have issues with hotels/motels that reek of Febreeze/Glade type perfume smells. We stayed one night and left. You've been warned.

They are located a bit out of town, but the drive was pleasant. They have a very clean pool with a friendly staff that is exceedingly helpful with requests and concerns. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Flat screen tvs with plenty of channels and had plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 kids with room to spare. The room we stayed in also had a kitchenette and rather large mini fridge. All together I would stay here again if I was to wander back through this town.

Clean room and the staff is very nice and thoughtful. We had to request a different room when we checked in bc we needed a sofa bed and the staff changed our room quickly and efficiently. Pool is great for our kids and room is comfy.

We had a bad experience. Our phone rang at 4:30 in the a. M. This isn't a good experience and we were unable to go back to sleep. Then when I reported this to the supervisor and asked her how she'd like to be woken up in a dead sleep that way at that time of the morning she got smart with me and told me she has to get up every morning at that time. That didn't help matters. For the price they charge I don't think asking for a quiet nights stay is asking too much. Because of her rudeness and unprofessionalism we won't ever return. There are other very nice places in the area and much cheaper.

We love this hotel. One of the few in Port St Joe. Priced well. No question where were are going to stay when we head to the Forgotten Coast.

Okay hotel for cheap. Couch is shredded like a cat was let loose on it. Pull out looked even worse. To be kind I won't describe it's condition. They were quick to replace the mattress though. Breakfast is acceptable at best.

The service was very, very nice and they responded right away when we had a question with the room. I would absolutely recommend it here. The manager couldn't have been nicer about meeting our accommodations.

This hotel is clean and quiet. It is next to the hospital and the college. The bike trail is located at the college and you can ride it all the way to downtown Port St. Joe. You could ride the local road network and connect to the bike lanes on 30A that lead to Cape San Blas. I wish the breakfast bar had waffles. They have an all day coffee bar. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was adequate with a bed and a sofa bed. The microwave, stove and fridge were and added bonus. I will definitely stay here again. I got a good rate through Priceline.

We have stayed here a couple of times and just love it, clean and the breakfast is great wouldn't stay any other place. the Skinners.

Our experience at this hotel was awesome. The room was very clean and they were very accommodating. We were coming in with our camping gear out of a storm and it was no problem for us to bring it in. The staff was very friendly especially Garret at the front desk.
