Awful dirty hotel. Mold on the ceiling, dirty towels, trash on the floor, expired fire extinguishers.

Very quiet and was really clean!

Run as far away as possible from this dump. I am appalled that I paid over a $100 for a room that looked like it hasn't been vacuumed or deep cleaned in many years. I called to have my room switched only to be given a room that reeked of cigarettes. It was late at night so I felt stuck because there were no other pet — friendly hotels that had available rooms. I have never, EVER stayed in such a disgusting place.

To begin with, the doors were full of mold! Never got our rooms Changed for our beds with new sheets. Never did we get any clean towels! Besides, I don’t recommend didn’t get a good room with at least cold A/C!

Our room is so nice. The people here are very nice and kind.

We had to clean the ac filter, because it was so hot in the room. Its was solid black! The curtains over the ac also block the air flow. TINY bathrooms! The elevator makes me think I'm in a bad old folks home.

The service was horrible and the room was the worst!

Conveniently located near Interstate 10, not much of a view from the rooms but still a great place to stay. Also Denny's is within walking distance and there's an amazing taco truck across the street.

Did not guarantee room even though they tried to tell someone else they do guarantee through online booking, which is what we did. They did not clean and service room and no explanation as to why it had not been serviced. Other booked room was entered. They took out the dirty towels but did not replace them, or take out trash bags. Doors had to be forced open because it gets stuck. Otherwise beds are comfy.

Mold, filthy carpets, dirty sheets. But the office staff was pleasant. Breakfast was a joke.

We had two very clean rooms with comfortable beds. We slept great and then had a delicious free continental breakfast. The service was friendly and they were"quick to answer any questions. We will be staying here again.

Horrible experience. Worst La Quinta I have stayed in. I have contacted corporate. As I travel for work every week, I only stay in La Quinta. I can not believe La Quinta let's this place exists. Wasp nests every where. Rotten wood and rusted rails. Exterior a/c units with covers dismounted and sitting on the ground. Carpet stains every where. We couldn't get in our room. Walked back to the front desk and the gentleman came to our room to help. We have to pull the door and slam the handle down to open. Same when closing the door from the inside. One of our double beds had blood stains on the sheets. The side table was broken. There were dirty towels in the bathroom. The a/c would not select cool. The next morning we went to the front desk with this information. The woman said she was sorry but there we no other rooms to move us to. Since I was on rewards, I would need to contact customer service to move. I contacted them and they said to talk to the manager. There was no manager available. After shift change a different associate took care of moving us to a different room. Breakfast. Don't even worry about the free breakfast. Only 2 people can fill their plate at a time. The toaster takes forever to cook. If the toaster and microwave are used at the same time, the power strip trips. Don't stay here.

Clean pet friendly rooms, helpful staff. Tricky and complicated location due to traffic patterns. Like most hotels today most issues are due to a majority of inconsiderate guests.

The website shows different picture of the place. We have stayed in a laquinya before. This location was horrible. Carpet nasty. Stained. We had candy and some glasses right at the bottom of the bed. The building itself is old. We checked in and we checked out in 20 minutes. The manager was nice enough to refund full amount.

Room was inexpensive. You get what you pay for. Check in would have been quick, had someone actually been at the front desk. We waited around for about 7 to 10 minutes. Not a big deal. The service was friendly and breakfast was above average. My one serious complaint was the smell of our room. It smelled like a combination of wet dog and baby vomit. It was so awful that we asked to be moved to another room, but unfortunately the only other room available was a smoking room. We settled for a spray bottle of air freshener, but that didn't even make a dent in the horrible assault on our senses. Word to the wise, do not stay in room 126. It's truly gross.

After reading the reviews we were skeptics. However, I received a very reasonably priced night stay through hotwire hotdeal so I couldn't complain much. After getting to the room I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the room was. I believe I received a suite with a king bed. It was very nice and quite clean. I would definitely stay again and recommend a stay here.

Very angry! am a long time LaQuinta customer and this Pensacola location was terrible. Twice housekeeping burst into the room without knocking, I also received several bites over a two night stay. On my face, leg and arm. I complained to corporate about my about my experience. They routed me to the manager of the hotel who was courteous and politely said she would investigate and refund me my stay. Ultimately I got refunded a one day which turns out to be a standard refund policy for complainers. I contacted corporate again.

I've stayed twice, it's great for the price, free breakfast is a nice variety on the cheaper but filling side. You get what you pay for in a good way though.

First off, the guest that stayed before me left their hard boiled eggs in the fridge and I know this because when I opened the fridge they were there. That was gross. The staff seems like they would genuinely like to be somewhere else. They openly talked trash about guests. I wasn’t impressed. It was inexpensive, and you get what you pay for. If you need a place to crash… this is it. Don’t set your expectations too high. The guest services lady was very nice when I checked in.

The room was nice. Beds were perfect. Staff were very nice and accommodating when an accident happened with one of the kids. Would stay there again if we're ever back in Florida.

The staff at La Quinta on 7750 Davis Hwy are AWESOME! Cosmetically, the hotel could stand a little help but I wasn't trying to move in. I just needed a clean, safe, and affordable place for several days. I had some issues with my lock on my door but the staff went out of their way to accommodate me including reducing my charges. Precious was absolutely wonderful. I appreciate all her efforts in ensuring my comfort.

Staff was super awesome. Room on the other hand was bad. Key card was out so staff had to let us in room on first day. Old food in drawers, light went out in bathroom, floors left my socks black from the dirt, and room had a smell. When heat/air came on smelled like cat pee. Stayed here due to pets being able to stay, but room was not in good condition.

The front attendant was very nice and polite. He made sure I had a room for the night. I was only staying a few hours before getting back on the road. Once I was in the room it was ok for the money however at some point there was maintenance done in the bathroom area and it was not cleaned up after completion. So I got a wet towel and cleaned up the floor as best I could.

This place need to be condemned. I couldn't even sleep because of roaches that came out in the middle of the night. The carpet smelled like a wet dog. It was a disaster. Mold n the bathroom. Dried up fingernail polish in the tub. You had to hold the handle down on the toilet for it to flush. The list go on. The worst hotel experience I've ever had. I will not go back there ever again. This hotel don't deserve a 1 star. It need to be demolished☹

I checked in late after midnight, walked in the room and heard running water. I went into the bathroom to find the tub almost completely full of water and a roach on the faucet handle. I called the front desk to ask for another room and the woman at the lobby was very nice and understanding and even brought a new room key to the room for me. Once switching rooms I was scared to look around and see more bugs. However, the musty smell which I assume was from the old carpet, was overwhelming. I needed sleep and needless to say made it through the night. In the future I would definitely pay more money for a more up to date room, as the hotel is very run down.

First I have tho say that the staff here is friendly and efficient. But my room kinda smelled like feet and cigarettes. The hotel is located right off Hwy 10, which was really convenient. I only stayed one night and I'm glad because of the smell. It's a good stop on a road trip where you are too tired to care about the room.

Allows pets, and a quick walk to Waffle House for breakfast. Clean rooms. Easy highway access. My go to hotel when we vacation in Pensacola.

Checked my mom into one of their pet-friendly rooms. Staff was helpful and nice. Room had that same smell all pet rooms have, but that's no big deal. If you can, try to stay on the pool side of the hotel. The North side faces an empty lot where a lot of homeless people hang out.

This will be the last time we stay in this chain. The room was FILTHY! It had a nasty musty smell to it. I had to take a lukewarm shower due to no hot water. I called the front desk to let them know of a garbage mess that was in the walkway to room. That said. Jackie at the front desk was delightful.

I checked in today 09/19/17. When we opened the room, it has the bad smell of molds! The towels are dirty. I tried to call front desk twice but she just told me to wait! Already an hour passed and still have no update! I wish they should have shown more care for their guests. I am not the person who always complains but this is really BADDDD. Especially the smell and let me tell you the floor carpet is dirty as well I wonder if they do a proper cleaning. And there's a note in the table to call the manager (CRANITA) if there's any problem but the phone number in the letter leads to the hotel and have no answer! I'm very disappointed I just don't know how to upload the pictures to see how bad it was!

Worse La Quinta I've been to, but it is cheaper than most. Great pet policy. Comfortable beds. Bugs in bathroom and just generally kinda run down. Also, the remote for our TV didn't work and some of the neighbors smelled like Marijuana.

Lisa at the front desk is Awesome! People like her is what makes companies great. Excellent customer service and very friendly. The rooms are clean and it's definitely up to par.

The front counter staff was prompt and polite. Room was fresh clean, brand new appliances, with great AC. Beds are so cushy and comfortable. Tried the pool — it was nice. Pretty clean for a public pool! The room cleaning staff came later than we expected, but took care of our exact needs with a smile. Overall one of the better experiences I've had in a hotel.

My actual star rating would be a — 1 My stay at your Pensacola LaQuinta was by far the worse hotel stay ever. I check in after 5pm where Teresa (the desk associate) told me I had to prepay/hold pay for my room and that my card wouldn't be charge, just a prehold. In all my hotal stays I never had I had to do that before, but I went along with it. When I first walked into the room I noticed a musty/ mildew smell. Soon after I found the source of that smell was from the mold that was all over the joining doors and bathroom ceiling. Speaking of the ceiling pieces of it was falling off and there was visible water damage that it was clear the staff tried to hide by painting over it. The carpet was dirty (not vacuum), all the trash cans were full, beds were not made, old yogurt was left in the refrigerator, used soap was left in the shower and sink, dirty towels on the tub, plus dead insects hanging from the lights. All this was my first impression when I walked into my hotel room. I did call the front desk to notify them that my room was filthy and they sent someone up to clean. But, I'm still unsatisfied with my stay because I shouldn't had to call the front desk when my should have already been properly cleaned. That room was not worth the money I paid. If I ever go back to Pensacola, FL; I will definitely not stay at LaQuinta. Thanks Trina.

I'm in this room right now HORRIBLE paid $182 a night I expect it to be at least decent, room smells like urine, floors are disgusting, bathroom has what appears to be feces on the wall! I'd never seen a LA Quinta offer a nasty hotel like this until today! I can't sleep stinks so bad, and all the local areas are booked! Stay away soo not worth it.

Horrible here. Got here room was leaking, trash wasn't taken out, everything outdated old, staff could be friendly. Always had to go get towels. Carpet dirty, funny smell. Just very. Horrible here. Stayed july 13. Don't recommend.

Mold in 3 different rooms. Attitudes and eye rolls each time we came to the front to request another room. 4th room we were given had dirty beds. Looked like there were food crumbs on the bedding. Apologies don't fix the issues… there has been complaints of mold here for years. You are putting your guests health at risk.

2 stars only because the room was decent for the price. Terrible experience because our room was not cleaned for the entire (3 days) that we were there. First night we went down to the desk to request that out room be cleaned, next day came back from the beach and our room was in the same condition. Went back down to the desk and requested that our room be cleaned again. We even had to request new towels, which was rediculous. Third day came back from the beach and our room was in the same condition. We had to complain again and they exclaimed that the reason that our room was not cleaned was because we"asked for no service". Which was totally rediculous because we were there for three days why wouldn't we want service? I've stayed at LaQuinta's better but this was my first bad experience at one.

The place service was good. La Quinta Inns are kind of hit or miss. This one was pretty bare bones. The free breakfast is pretty basic. There is a Denny's next door though. The location is slightly hard to find and other guests were pretty loud down the hall. Not really a fault of the hotel though.

Desk person not friendly. Room floors were dirty and we had to ask for clean sheets as the ones on the bed looked dirty and had hairs on them. We changed our own sheets. We also asked for the first floor and ended up on the third floor. One elevator not close to the room and it smelled bad. Have not gone to breakfast yet. When you travel with a pet I guess this is what you get. For a positive note, room and bathroom were a nice size.

Called ahead states that we found it in the Florida hotel coupon book. After signing in we were told the coupon expired and is only active for a short time in the book. Since we have stayed many times at other LA Quinta Inns, we decided to take it anyway. The hotel is older, but that does not figure in unless it is not taken care of. The beds are very worn, the floor/carpets are lumpy not the normal cleanliness, there is dirt and material in the corners. More pride by the cleaning staff and management would be helpful.

I have been here before. It works for the price and location. I would tell anyone to stay here because I like it.

Good price, good location. Our room was on the third floor, beds were clean and decent space, bathroom was a bit small though and the door was very squeaky. Wi-Fi was suprizingly fast.

Worst Hotel Ever. I am on vacation with my family and made reservations before coming here. When I called to reserve a room I told them for a first floor room. Not only did they give me a second floor room it smelled like mold the air conditioning was stuck on fan, not cool, and the carpet siding was pulled out. I lost trust in La Quinta.

I give it 2 stars only because of the price and the location. Other than that I would not stay here ever again, not recommend it to anyone else. First off, the Elevator was a bit scary, squeaky noise and very humid and smelly. We winded up using the stairs. As soon as I entered the room it had a very strong cigarette odor that gave me a headache. The smell would not go away. The room was clean but still managed to look nasty. The restroom is super duper small. As soon as I got out of the shower I had to put on my socks because the carpet was filthy and had a sticky feeling. I had to wash my feet again. Overall worst part, having to sleep with that disgusting cigarette odor! Yuk!

Worst stay ever. Room looked like it was never cleaned. Just remade up. Pillow cases had make up on them. Sand on beds and floor. Dog hair everywhere. We always stay La Quinta since we have dogs. This one shouldnt be associated with the brand. Very disgusted!

Staying here for about a week. At a glance the hotel looks bearable. Looked clean, smelled clean. After staying a couple days I've noticed there were cigarette burn marks on my bed sheets. The "breakfast" they serve consists of boiled eggs, toast, and tiny muffins. You'really better off walking a few feet to Denny's! Another issue is the thermostat and AC in my room just does whatever it wants. Cuts off and back on. Gets burning hot then freezing cold! Would be fine if I wasn't worried about catching a cold from swimming in the pool. Next is the shower. Water is either lukewarm, cold, or burning hot needles. Guess it does the job though. There were also rude guests that were agitated by noise made out in the pool area by the young kids. Just annoying. Overall this hotel is less than mediocre.

I stopped there because they allowed dogs. It was filthy and smelled like urine. I have a 98 lb lab, and she was nervous and shaking so hard it felt like I had put quarters in the bed. My daughter and I refused to use the shower because it was dirty, the bathroom was covered in black dog hair. My dog has yellow fur.

Absolutely disgusting. Everything was stained and threadbare and I was afraid to walk around barefoot. Never again.

Our room was absolutely disgusting. The carpets hadn't even been vacuumed. I called not even 45 min after checking in to request it to be vacuumed and the guy said nothing could be done bc all the housekeeping was gone for the day (and we had checked in early). The bathtub looked greyish/black and had hairs still in it. The bathroom floor was sticky and the toilet had urine on it. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody. The only good thing I could say about it is that the breakfast was decent for the kind of hotel it is.

Room was musty. Carpets threadbare. Linens stained. Bathtub completely rust stained. After first night, housekeeping "cleaned" room. No replacement towels, soap, coffee cups, coffee, cream, sugar. Etc. Linens not changed as requested, just made bed up. Second day, same thing. Third day-deja vu! Staff less than hospitable. They acted like I was an interruption rather than the reason for their being there. I know it's a low priced hotel, but I've stayed in places that cost less and were better maintained. Just NOT worth it.

This might be the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The room was filthy from the written out carpets to the stained bed sheets. It's cheap, but just nasty. Hotel staff was friendly enough, room was just horrible.

Nice room and loved the stay.

Our stay was okay, we had friendly staff, the breakfast was good, always refilled with food til the certain time was up. The parking was accesible. The room had a light funky smell to it, but I know not all rooms we're the same because I reserved another room and it wasn't the same. But overall I will go back to another La Quinta or same one. I will say it's a family friendly hotel.

Very pleased with room and amenities. Pool could use a paint job but room was clean, everything worked. Staff very friendly. Would certainly come back :-).

For context, the big rain storm just dropped a ton of rain and so all hotels in the area are busy. Nevertheless, we were looking at hotels online and before booking this room we called to confirm we could have a non-smoking, downstairs room. We're on a cross country bike tour and it's difficult to get our bikes and gear up stairs. The lady who answered the call said it would be no problem to get either. We booked. When we showed up, presumably the same woman tells us that we have an upstairs, smoking room. She then tries to explain that she can't know which rooms are taken until checkout. That's fine, except that we called at 3:30pm, well past checkout. Poor communication.
