Wonderful beachside hotel… a lot of great of things to do!

Excellent place to stay! very clean, staff is very attentive! Rooms are nice and spacious.

I’ve been coming to PCB on and off over 20 years. I’ve never stayed at a Holiday Inn until now. The atmosphere here is amazing, definitely better than a typical condo rental. The breakfast is good, the bar and grill is on par with any restaurant almost I’ve eaten at the beach. The blackened fish tacos are amazing. The hotel is well staffed, and the rooms are fairly well insulated, I came with kids during thunder beach weekend without realizing that at the time, and the noise was minimal in the room at night even though there were motorcycles everywhere.

Amazing time staying here. Great views and so much fun on property. Close to things to do in the area. Great breakfast included. Loved the hospitality at the front desk and at the beach front bar. Mace was great. Made our night amazing. The food and drinks were wonderful! We added on another night since it is such a great property. I hated leaving since I live by Chicago! lol
Also everyone at the front desk was so helpful and accommodating. I had a bunch of minor questions about things in the area and they were very informative. If… well when… I'm ever in the area again I will only stay here!
I'm sure I've forgotten something but I wanted to add that there a full refrigerator freezer in the room. VERY helpful since we were doing a road trip and could keep our cooler goods cold!
One more thing… we watched Thursday night football on their protection screen from the hot tub and I won that week for my fantasy football! lol.

We’ve just landed our “will always stay here” hotel in PCB. This hotel was wonderful. It’s very clean…they had covid cleaning measures in place but still came to give clean towels daily. Breakfast was fantastic and appreciated. Loved the pool, lazy river and the poolside entertainment of live music, shows, bonfires, and movies. You can purchase a bonfire kit at the bar. The watermelon and punch was a sweet surprise that everyone loved. Speaking of the bar…let me give my girl Jodie some recognition. I just wondered aloud if she could possibly make me a key lime frozen drink…it’s not on the menu. She sure did and it was fabulous. She wrote the recipe down for me. The beach was awesome. The Pour across the street is worth a visit. Close to some great restaurants and a sweet ice cream shop with a delightful owner. Elevators were fast, staff super friendly. We will see you next year! Thanks for a really wonderful week.

The entire motel is is top notch. The staff was great, the Assistant General Manager Andy was awesome. The pool and beach front area were over the top as well.

This place is awesome so beautiful! the room smelled so fresh and sanitized :-) the bathroom was huge the balcony is so nice and the pool area with Grill and padded couches is amazing what a view what a place we will definitely be back here!

Beautiful beach side rooms, clean hotel friendly staff!

This hotel has been amazing! Friendly staff of course no house keeping services because of COVID but typically you could find them in the hallway and get what you needed not a big deal! Pools were great live music everyday Polynesian fire dances movies for the kids pool side every night! We have truly enjoyed our stay!

Best staff ever and cleanest Hotel ever!

This was our family's first time staying here. We all had a terrific time! The staff were all extremely friendly! They made us feel like family. A special shout out to you guy and gals at the Indigo Grill and Bar you know who you are! And also the Assistant manager who is truly amazing! We highly recommend staying here with! We will be seeing you all next month! Can't wait!

Omg, we LOVED this place! Mace was the BEST bartender EVER! But he made it fun and gave us great recommendations of places to go and things to do!
We only got to stay one night but the pool area, bartender and the hot tub, with the best beach! The rooms were clean, new and so perfect with a full size refridge. We will ALWAYS stay here when we go to PCB. Location was amazing as far as things to do as well!

There are so many ways that this Hotel is absolutely Excellent! The pool area and beach are just designed and set up perfect. And you can walk the beach to at least 3 other bars/restaurants. There’s a liquor store across the street from the hotel and a cool biker bar that has good food too. There’s a huge tourist gift shop across the street also. Very centrally located and ON THE BEACH! Rooms were very clean and well laid out. Full size refrigerator and sink/microwave area. Beds were comfy. Definitely Coming Here Again! Go on the Sea Screamer boat ride too! This place is Awesome! Breakfast was excellent too! ♥️

This place is amazing. The view is beautiful from our ocean front room. The entire hotel is very clean. Our room is huge! I’ve never seen such a large bathroom in a hotel room. Last night they had luau dancers at the pool which was fun. They have a bar right by the lazy river which has delicious food and drinks. In the evening they have a fire going on the beach. They sell s’mores kits, which we purchased. They were fun and delicious as well. After we roasted marshmallows and ate s’mores, we payed in the Eno’s (hammocks) on the beach. We wish we had longer to stay. I hope to definitely be back.

The hotel is AWESOME and the staff couldn’t be more friendlier.

We stayed here at the end of August for my daughter’s 8th birthday. We had a gorgeous suite. The kids & I enjoyed the lazy river, pool, and jacuzzi pool. My daughter was taught how to hula dance at the luau. The live entertainment was great, too. Beautiful views & a beautiful time!

I checked in a little after midnight at the location in Lexington, SC and wanted a shower after a long drive. After stepping into the shower I realized that the shower didn’t have a textured decor it was pubic hair and vomit coating the shower walls. I called down to the staff on duty who said he would log it in the housekeeping books. I had my 3rd party booking agent call the manger who said there was nothing he could do for me. I checked out and I’m warm, happy, clean, and cozy at Double Tree By Hilton. Should have stuck to Hilton, I’m a rewards member for a good reason!

My family and I have been there twice already this year. This hotel is just great starting with all their staff, everyone of them is so friendly and provide great service, always a clean, beautiful location, and of course management. They have an amazing breakfast buffet, and you can always get their ultimate package which includes some meal vouchers per day and 2 beach chairs and 1 umbrella. Location is the best, beach side and close to other recreational activities in the city and supermarkets. I just can't say enough of how much we enjoyed our stay. Andy who is a night manager, very polite and handles things in a very professional way. We have been recommending this place to family and friends.

Had a great time. The staff was awesome. I wish I remembered the night manager/front desk guys name, but he was very cool. Gave my wife butter (couldn't find edible lube) so she could grease my knob. What more could you ask for? The pools and beach are beautiful too!

Beautiful and a great family place! I loved the rooms. The view was fantastic, the staff was wonderful and the place was well maintained! They had family events planned everyday. The breakfast was wonderful. You had free ice tea or water or coffee anytime you wanted it. The rooms were clean and spacious! The beds were FANTASTIC! I slept so well! They are on the firmer side, but not too firm. I will stay here again!

First of all, the hotel is newer, fresh and loaded with features and amenities including: indoor and outdoor pool, lazy river, hot tub, bar and grill, live shows, free breakfast, live entertainment and more! But what amazed me was the staff. My wife and I were celebrating our honeymoon and were just passing through town to get somewhere else, so we just needed to stay one night here. Upon finding out that we accidentally didn't book a room with a view, Emma upgraded us for free and provided complimentary drink tickets because it was our honeymoon. I will recommend Holiday Inn and specifically this Panama City Beach location to any of our friends visiting this area in the future. Can't say enough good things… and thank you Emma!

I checked in late last night after a long day of work. I was woken up multiple times throughout the night by a fire alarm. I got very little sleep and had to drive 6 hours for work the next day. When I asked the front desk what they were going to do to fix it, they said "Nothing. It was not our fault, it's the alarm companies fault. " This is terrible. When you hire a company you inherit their service. If their service is terrible, your service is terrible. The service the hotel provides is a clean and quiet room so you can get rest. They did not deliver and refused to accept their poor service or provide a solution. I rarely write a review for poor service but this was exceptionally terrible. Super disappointed.

My mom and I stayed here for 4 nights a few weeks ago for a girls trip in Panama City Beach! This hotel is insanely clean, and it’s even better because it was recently built! Our stay was fabulous, and so was our service! Great breakfast, clean pool and outdoor area, and very clean rooms. I had an incredible sleep every night. The manager (or one of many) was very very helpful, and generous too! However, a female bartender at the outdoor bar, who seemed to be of another nationality; as she had an accent, was very rude! I read through some reviews and I’m not the first to have had an issue with the way she approaches and speaks to customers! All else was wonderful, so other than that, I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a safe, clean, and friendly environment! Thanks for the awesome stay!

We absolutely loved our stay! The hotel was by far the nicest place we have ever stayed! All the staff was amazing… the pool side bar and grill staff (Joe & Kelly) was the best! We will definitely be back!

This hotel is awesome. The staff is very friendly. I had a complicated set of reservations, and they made sure everything was prepared for my family when we arrived. The room was large and modern with a gorgeous direct view of the Gulf. The pool deck is massive with plenty of loungers for everyone, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. I cannot recommend this property enough.

The staff, the view when you enter the lobby, the clean smell, music playing, all you can drink water sweet tea and coffee were just the initial impressions that said “relax, you’ve arrived, enjoy! ” I will definitely come again. All very large rooms have a gulf view. Breakfast was exceptional with the best staff ever!

Currently checked in and love it here! The rooms are clean and very nice! Have an oceanfront room and view of the pool deck. My Fiance and I love the atmosphere here! Everyone is very friendly and helpful! They have had a dj and live music on the pool deck everyday and complimentary breakfast is great! We will definitely be back!

We arrived 5-5. We were pleasantly surprised by the feel of a world class beach resort. Service was impeccable. Staff busy cleaning any spec of dirt in lobby. Live music nightly with poolside bar. We were in awe of our huge room & balcony. The breakfast was supreme! Loved the complimentary sweet tea & ice water in lobby as well as strawberry infused water by poolside. Loved our lounge chairs & umbrella from 8-5 The attention to detail & wonderful staff made us feel so pampered.

I was visiting from Austin, TX with a friend of mine for a week. This hotel was pretty cool, but beware that they charge for parking for each night of your stay. The rooms are pretty big and a lot of them come with bunk beds with an ocean view. The rooms are very spacious and enough room to bring a big group into sleep in without any problem to the neighbors next door to you. Also, beware that at Holiday Inn they ask for each person their names to stay in each room without extra charge and have you wear a wristband while staying at this hotel. Even if you invite someone to come to your room and they aren’t staying with you in this hotel, they would need a wristband and sign in at the front desk to get check-in. There’s no way in sneaking in without a wristband as a visitor. Trust me you can get caught. They’ve got live entertainment in the pool area with three different swimming pools, there’s an access to the beach, there’s a bar, people are very friendly and helpful, especially the security guards and breakfast is pretty good too with a huge sitting area for indoors and outdoors. I really liked staying at this hotel after it’s been a week and I hope I get to stay at this hotel again if I were to come back to Panama City Beach, FL on my next vacation.

We came here for our honeymoon and we had such a wonderful time. The rooms were functional, spacious and very clean. The pool area is amazing and the water was even heated which was perfect for the time of year. It was like paradise, just beautiful. The food at the bar was better than any restaurant we ate at. Drinks were also very good. You can tell the hotel is very well kept, we always saw people cleaning which makes me feel comfortable because I know it's clean. And last but not least, the staff (especially one of the managers Brian) were awesome. Everyone was friendly and helpful but Brian really went above and beyond for us. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will be back!

A lot like the Hampton Inn that I really enjoyed gave it 4 and 1/2 Stars the bar and The Lazy River was a Plus on the outdoor you can purchase fried foods and so on who was just okay. Beware the pool deck is extremely slippery! The ribs were accommodating beds were extremely soft the bunk beds were great for small children. The hotel only has 8 floors I stayed on the 8th floor The View was pretty good. The shutters obstructed the view of the ocean a little bit. There was a little kitchenette in between the bathroom and the living space. No range or oven. The breakfast was well stocked but took forever to wait in line hour plus.

Seriously the nicest holiday inn express I've stayed in! Nice, professional staff, extremely clean, and beachfront?! Can't go wrong there. Our room was swept and mopped daily in addition to the beds, bathroom, etc. The breakfast area was staffed with three employees to assure everything stayed stocked and tidy. I seriously have nothing bad to say about this stay other than that it was too short of a visit! Thank you for making our first family vacation in five years so much fun! We will be back again soon!

Absolutely amazing view! Pools were great for the Kids! Plenty of friendly staff and security! Bar next to the pool had very good pulled pork Nachos and drink specials. The room… plenty of room! Corner room had wrap around balcony, bunk beds, 2 Queen beds, pull out sofa and a kitchenette with full size fridge, microwave and a Kuerig! Breakfast was delicious! Great variety that was included with the room stay. Will definitely stay here again!

Location is breathtaking, the hotel is immaculate. The breakfast buffet was amazing too… Wow! Rooms are stunning. We had ocean view. Service was also fantastic. Sucks to pay for parking when you pay as much as you do for a room. However… Must be a Florida thing. Seems pretty common there. We will be back! Thank you Holiday Inn Express.

My stay was great! The rooms we're very clean and had their own little decorations. The hot tub was perfectly warm, the little bar is amazing! Also, the gym is big enough and has state of the art equipment. Everything was clean and amazing. I'm definitely going back to this hotel for my next vacation to Panama!

This hotel is new and clean. The sea view is amazing. The size of the suite is perfect for a family of 4 to 6 people. The staff are friendly and happy to help guests. During my visit, the beach was very clean. I highly recommend this place.

Enjoyed our Christmas weekend. Great staff. Comfortable and large rooms. Awesome views to the beach. Breakfast was delicious. I love oatmeal. Too cold for the outdoor pool but the imdoor pool was a lot of fun.

Nice place. $10 per day parking stayed 3 nights, which would be fine if you could park in the parking garage but they're resurfacing the front lobby parking so only 15 cars and fit below because over 1/2 is caution tapped off. So we had to park in the over flow parking to the west end of the building and tote all our stuff along ways. So $10 a day parking and it's first come first serve to the first 15 cars. No refunds or anything given. Small complaint but valid.

Came down for a quick weekend getaway! It was just what we needed to recharge during this hectic holiday season! The hotel is beautiful and the staff is top notch and more than happy to meet every need! The Indigo Bar and Grill poolside has a great drink selection along with a menu of some great grill items! We will definitely be back and highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express & Suites!

Great place to stay! Had to book a room unexpectedly, last minute. They were very accommodating to all our needs. CLEAN establishment. Wonderful breakfast and every staff member we encountered were amazing with friendly faces! Good poolside entertainment that is family friendly!

Perfect getaway… stayed here for 5 nights. This is not an adults only resort and is kid friendly. Having said that it is not loud whatsoever. It is extremely relaxing with just enough to do. There are live musicians at the pool everyday, playing relaxing music. This is NOT a spring break place. The location is superb! Every room has a gorgeous view of the gulf with balconies. The lazy river pool is where I spent most of my time with my autistic son. There is a grill/bar on the pool deck which was very convenient. The rooms are huge, with one of the most comfortable beds, linens and blankets I've ever slept on. Plenty of lounge chairs when we went mid October. This is a relaxed, casual environment if that is what you are looking for as I was. Weather was perfect, low 80's during the day and 60's at night. Would definitely go again and highly recommend.

Just got home from a weeks stay at the Holiday Inn Express Beachfront in Panama City Beach. The Hotel is awesome the rooms are spacious and the bed are comfortable. The breakfast is fabulous. The reason I am giving the hotel three stars is because the pools have green algae growing around the outer lip. I told the manager that he has a serious algae problem and he didn't really seem to care. I also told the man vacuuming the pool and showed him the algae because you can't really see it if you are not in the pool and he told me people have been complaining for a month. We nick name the lazy man river the green river. Really needs looking into before someone gets sick.

I brought my kids to this nice hotel for Fall break. Rooms are nice and have a direct gulf view! They have a lazy River and a zero entry pool. They have free breakfast and the food is really good. Staff is also very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel surpassed our families expectations! Matt the manager, was happy to help with anything and everything we needed! Rooms are clean and beds were perfect. Really great complementary breakfast it was fresh and filled with tones of options! I would definitely come back as a family or with just my husband.

Omgosh. I have been waiting to write my review since we walked into the hotel. It is so we'll kept and beautiful outside. It's the newest hotel and wow. It impressed us. It will be our too stay in Panama City Beach FL! The rooms are absolutely amazing and beautiful designed and decorated. It's away from the crowds a bit so it's quite than most places. They have a lady ricer which was so much fun.

This is a beachfront hotel with private access to the beach. The amount of cigarette butts, plastic straws, cups and bottle caps are disgusting. Shame on Holiday Inn for allowing straws at their bar and grill and for not cleaning up the beach. Most beach towns are no longer using straws. They offer bottled drinks but don't recycle. They don't serve humane raised hormone free and ethical breakfasts. Hotel room is very nice but we won't be returning unless they adopt more eco friendly initiatives.

New hotel on Panama City Beach! Very family friendly, Staff really focused on the kids here. Great facility, great staff, excellent place to stay. Rooms are large, 600sqft, great views of the beach and gulf. Breakfast is included every day, great food at the pool bar along with great drinks. Live entertainment, fun activities for the kids. The stay here is very affordable, I will definitely be back here again!

Staff is very friendly! Rooms are Great! Pools are beautiful and they are open from 8 am to midnight which is great for us because we like to stay out late. Pools are also heated! Love the lazy river! Definitely will be coming back! Make sure you bring your own pool towels as I have seen very few towels. At the pools 4 different times so far and I have seen 1 towel available on 2 different occasions. However the ones they do have are very nice!

Perfect for families! 2 queen beds + bunk beds. Absolutely perfect for our family of 5. We were upgraded to a corner room with a wrap around balcony, sitting area, full-sized frig and eating area (not sure if the regular room has all of this space). Could not have been a better set up! New, clean, right on the beach. Highly recommend.

Staying at this hotel was such a wonderful experience! The rooms were specious, clean, and the kids loved the bunk beds. The bathroom was huge and had everything we needed. We loved that there was a full-sized refrigerator and plenty of outlets in the room. The view from the balcony was amazing. It was also a treat for the elevators to be so quick! The kids didn't want to leave the pools. The lazy river was so much fun, even for us adults. The live music and hula performers were wonderful! The staff were all very polite and helpful — from the guy who mopped up the wet floors, to the lifeguards, to the managers. We arrived right as a storm was passing through and the staff handled the check-ins and the rush of wet guests (coming in from the pool to escape the storm) calmly and professionally. Your GM Andy was particularly impressive! My husband and I decided after meeting him that we had to be sure and write a review. We had our boat with us and Andy was so patient and helpful finding us a place to put our boat, even during all the chaos of a crowded lobby because of the storm. He was everywhere — helping with arrivals, then picking up trash and wet towels from around the pool, checking in with guests to make sure they had everything they needed, etc. We decided that this will be our new place for summer vacation. The kids can't wait to go back again!

I don't write reviews but I had to make an exception. What can I say… Wonderful! From the friendly staff to the spacious room and bathroom. Loved the lazy river and pools. Free water/tea and the towel stand was a nice added touch. Good breakfast bar. This will now be our place to stay from now on.

This is a really nice hotel! Rooms are very clean, they serve free water and sweet tea all day, and live music twice a day is neat. The room is very nice and comfortable, and the beds are top notch. Awful awful awful. Sand in the rooms and in the bed, obviously haven't been cleaned. After being here for 30 minutes we went and canceled the rest of our time here. Only thing that sucks now is we have to actually spend 1 night here. I stress to anyone interested in staying here do not trust the pictures. They also charged us more than what the receipt showed.

Came here for my honey moon in 2012 and have been back ever sense! Love this place! There are a few things that could be better but NO place is perfect.

In my entirely life this is the first time I had been in a hotel with really bad service. They don't even clean the roon and change the linen every days. On top of that Im find 3 roaches in the bathroom. Was a awfull experience for me and my family (1 baby of 2 years old) The should close the hotel for sanitary problem. They put on risk the health of the customer.

Went down in August to see my Son at FT Ruckers and decided to vist pcb, after searching online for hours I reluctantly decided on this hotel seeing the bad reviews and all. I called first to see if all the pools were working had that problem before and talked to the nicest person Sarah I think it was anyhow it turns out the best price is on their own website so I booked 3 days and let me tell you we loved it, the room was great for an old beach front hotel and the pools / DJ / atmosphere it was all wonderful we had a great time, the lady at the skuttlebuckets bar is great and even the workers were nice I will deffinately be back. Tt.

I will never stay there ever again. The rooms are super old and dirty. They have patches on the walls and ceiling unfinished. The AC worked did not blow cold air. The hot water in the shower would go in and out! The beds are so uncomfortable you will need to bring some advil or muscle relaxer for when you wake up. The top of the patio door was full of dust. Just the worst experience we have ever had.

It was so bad I had to right a review. I should have trusted the other reviews. I brought my aunt and daughters to a summer vacation so we called to make a reservation for the Days Inn, the rep stated that paradise palms right next door was more family orientated and kid friendly. Yeah right, the room was nasty floors were so dirty beds were not clean bathroom had a old rusted mirror with burns all over the counter. We requested a non smoking room lol burns gave that away. The mattress had sand ants all in it. We all left with little bites that look like pimples. Each time we shook out the sheets to try and get all the sand out thinking it was just by the beach of coarse sand will be there it kept coming back in the sheets each time the mattress just scares me to think of what is inside. If you have any sense you will definitely stay some where else this is a dump.

The Hotel is Typical Florida, Price was good, the room were clean smelled good, and right on the beach. I would go back, Loved the movies every night and the entertainment offered at the waterfall pool. Very impressed with the security around. People who want 5 Star Hotel should stay at 5 Star Hotel and pay there prices, and stop expecting. We will stay again.

In the past 5 months, this inn has undergone vast changes, so the reviews should be no longer viable. Originally, my family (of four) rented a condo in the Ambassador, which ended up being such a dump we could not sleep there until it was fixed. The owner of the condo placed us in the Paradise Palms temporarily so he could fix the problems with our other residence. We ended up choosing to stay at the Paradise due to the problems never being fixed at the other place. The Paradise is truly the best Inn I have ever stayed in. The staff is so friendly and nice. The maids were so polite, friendly, and hilarious (my brother was playing a song on his phone and one of the maids poked him with her broom and started sweeping like Cinderella, but to the beat of the song. The view was spectacular, the continental breakfast was soo yummy, the room had two queen beds, which are above par. The bathroom is nice, clean and well supplied with towels. The waterfall swimming pool was delightful, especially the hot tub. The lobby is beautiful. The best part of the inn is the pirates (These pirates were actually LEGIT. Pirates that walked around on the beach were horrible. The pirates in the inn were delightful, hilarious, and very Jack-Sparrow-Like. The courtyard that the inn has is also very nice, it has a gift shop, area information and a small restaurant with delightful food. The view is spectacular. I saw no sign of cockroaches, mold, or any of the problems that are in the previous reviews.
