Review of Edgewater Beach and Golf Resort 4*

I want to first start of by saying Edgewater resort was a a beautiful resort, and the pools were great, the rooms were really nice. However for how responsive their staff are not so much we was there for 5 days in Windward which is clearly one of their older buildings I called the first night because the Tv and internet was not working was never fixed I literally sat on hold every morning of my vacation for at least 45 minutes to speak to some one and try to get it fixed. Finally 2 days before check out they said they could move us all the way down to tower 1 which was away from my family that was staying below us which we did not want to do. And who would want to pack everything up in the middle of their vacation and take time to move. For my husband and I it would not of been a big deal to not have internet or TV if I was not needing to work some and my farther has to stay in the room a lot because due to his medicine he can not be in the direct sun due to his medicines. It made it a little hard in the kid at night not having TV. We would of usually just used our phones but we did not have great service down there. So yes I would recommend Edgewater but I would not recommend staying in Winward or Lewards the 2 end units they are clearly outdated. They ended up comping us 100 dollars which in my mind is not enough for 5 days of fighting with some one on vacation and 5 days of something not working. The sad thing is one of the managers knew it was a known issue and was still booking that room they knew with in the first 45 minutes of us checking in it was not working because I had called right off. So we could of been moved that first night instead of waiting.
