Very nice hotel my birthday was so peaceful my husband and I enjoyed our stay.

Very clean an staff was very helpful.

This place has a great oceanfront view and nice rooms.

All the staff is so courteous and very helpful. So clean and amazing view. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We stayed here the 19-22 and the rooms were very outdated and our power went out 4 times. I wasn’t expecting the rooms to look the best since it was the cheapest hotel around, but it could have at least been clean! The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful on the other hand and that’s about the only positive about our visit here. We usually stay at the Beachcomber and it’s absolutely perfect. The beds were very uncomfortable and the kitchen was dirty. The phone in our room to call the front desk didn’t even work. Don’t recommend staying here. Choose the Beachcomber!

It is clean, friendly staff. Rooms a bit dated, the building is about due for a remodel, but good for the price they are charging. The room has 2 queen beds separated by the bathroom and kitchenette makes it feel like it is 2 bedroom. The hotel is centrally located on the beach, making it easy to get to all the attractions.

The sraff was very friendly, room was clean. The view was amazing. We will stay here again.

Over all a nice place and I would and will stay again … just wish some of the other guest would realize that it’s a resort and people are there to relax not listen to there loud music that I had to complain about 2 nights in a row.

Great beachfront getaway.

Love it here! PBC is my happy place! The rooms are clean and specious. Linens were stocked. They do not offer much in the way of toiletries so bring your own. The free continental breakfast is nice. However not a wide range of choices. I don’t really want cold cereal when I am on vaca. But, at least it’s there. I love being right on the beach! I love the balcony to check out the beach last thing before I go to sleep and as soo. As I open my eyes! The kitchenette in the room is fabulous for those wanting to save a little money. It’s nice they are stocked with a few necessities.

Nice room facing the gulf on the 2st floor. The view of the gulf was great the room was very clean I felt comfortable for me and my family I will definitely come back to beach tower but maybe on a higher room floor for me I love looking at the ocean at night — calming.

On water! All rooms oceanfront balcony. Great staff. Good breakfast. Ability to rent lounge chairs with umbrella so you don't have to haul anything. Can also rent jetskis and other recreational activities from the same company that rent the chairs. They shuttle you out to parasail so you don't ever actually have to leave the hotel. We requested a high floor and were accommodated! Close proximity to Walmart. Room had kitchenette so we did some meals in the room. Overall lacked nothing. Nothing to complain about.

We just stayed at Beach Tower By The Sea and had an amazing week! So many wonderful memories and we look forward to spending our next vacation with By The Sea Resorts! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only downside was our room that we was first put in unfortunately had an air conditioning leak on the inside and whenever we returned to our room that afternoon we walked into a room with soaking wet carpet and it ruined our luggage and my husbands drone that was sitting in the floor of our room. With that being said, I was able to speak with James m, which is one of the managers and he kindly informed us that they would take care of our what was destroyed during our stay and upgraded us to a better room. Thank you all again for such an amazing vacation and I am sure you all will keep your word about the reimbursement.

Absolute awesome experience here at the Beach Tower. The staff is awesome, especially Adria! Its literally right on the beach with private beach! Will definitely book here again!

We just returned from vacation and we stayed at the Beach Tower by the sea and let me tell you this we couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our vacation. The whole staff goes above and beyond for their guests. Yes it's an older hotel but it is clean and nice. We are definitely going to be returning. Anna Wright.

I give this hotel 3 stars. The main reason for the 3 is because the view of the beach was lovely and so was Jodie Ann at the front desk. The place looks more updated on the pictures of course it will. Sandre was helpful not as helpful as Jodie. The bad experience of this stay was the cameras. Our scooters were damaged, one was taken and abandoned, left on the beach and destroyed. We requested to speak with management about getting the cameras and got the run around. They could have been more helpful for that because one scooter damage was $1400. Security definitely needs to be updated!

If I wrote everything wrong with my stay it would be a NOVEL! For what's it's worth, I'll just say its definitely on the lower end as far as cost and overall upkeep of the hotels that By the Sea owns. The hotel is very outdated. The appliances were pretty old and so was the furniture. I had a horrible experience with one of the managers but the General Manager Cindy definitely listened to my complaints and offered a solution. The front desk lady Adria was extremely nice and helpful!

Nice friendly staff, room was clean. I wished the windows opened, so I could listen to the ocean while I sleep. Did not get a chance to eat the breakfast. Overall I had great vacation.

Needed more help at front desk. Took to long to get checked into rooms. Had a very beautiful view. Need more options for breakfast, such as biscuits and gravy, bacon oatmeal. We stayed at places that offered this and cost less.

The hotel set up was wonderful. The reason why I gave it a 3 star was because the air conditioner thing that's on the floor by the window, soaked the floor. As soon as we got to the hotel I walked over to my bed where that unit was and stepped on the carpet and it was soaking wet. I dropped a shirt on the floor and it got wet. Also the bathroom was not mopped properly. We got the floor wet when we took a shower so we had to put a towel down and I wiped the water off the floor and the towel was brown and dirty from the floor. Just wasn't the cleanest hotel. The parking spaces were terrible. If you have a big truck I most definitely would not come here because there's literally maybe 20 parking spaces and they're all really tight and at an awkward angle. I drive a small car and I had to do like a 6 point turn just to get out of the parking space. If someone who was not staying at the hotel parked there, you would have no space to park. There was only one space available when we came.

Very nice place to stay! Rooms were clean, little moldy smell, but overall we liked it. Extra night was expensive but it’s peak season.

I give it two stars because u can’t beat being on the beach and that was the only good thing about it. Front desk was friendly enough but maid service wasn’t as friendly or good. One bed was completely caved in both beds hard as rocks. No counter space in the bathroom. No toilet lid on the toilet which is tons of fun when u have a toddler. And the stove is a hazard with knobs also at toddler height. Hardly any storage space. The balcony was wonderful and like I said it’s hard to complain when ur right on the beach. Also pool was small and breakfast was terrible.

We are staying for 8 days. This is an older motel, but well-kept, quiet and comfortable. The staff have all been so friendly and helpful. We love the location and the fact that all rooms overlook the beach and have a small kitchen. It sits smack-dab between busier areas, so it's perfect for us as we don't like congested areas. We would definitely stay here again! Would suggest most mattresses be replaced, but overall it's a great place.

Staff was nice but cost more than what it was worth. Of course the ocean view was priceless but that was about the only positive. The room was nasty! Towels smelled horrible, bed was hard and you could feel the springs poking through. Floors were greasy, water didn’t get hot! There was other people’s hair on the pillows and when I asked the cleaning lady for fresh sheets and pillow cases she got an attitude and argued with me about how she personally cleaned the room prior to our stay and that the sheets were clean. I told her I wasn’t being rude I’m just asking for a change, and she only changed the top blanket. She was very rude! All in all I’m giving 2 stars because of the beautiful view and nice front desk staff.

Rooms are dated but nice. Staff keeps this place pretty nice. Continental breakfast is adequate and served till 10am.

We stayed for 3 nights. It has nice sea view, clean and enjoyed the stay here. Breakfast can be improved.

Good but you can improve a lot.

Good over all experience. The hotel and our room seemed very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The view was great. Now some minor annoyances… if corrected would make this a five star hotel. The room entrance door and balcony door need weather stripping. In the day we could see day light and during the night and day could hear the winding howling. The ice machine was inconveniently located being located 7 floors down and at the opposite end of the building. And lastly, in the bathroom the commode did not have a solid lid.

Excellent location to stay. Employees are courteous and helpful. Beach is just at the front of ocean with a feel of private beach.

Rooms were good and clean … beautiful view from the balcony. Staffs were good. Only thing was the breakfast… I didn’t like it. Very few options and most of them full of carbs.

Stayed a week in Room 1603. Beautiful balcony view of the Gulf. Fresh, open, and relaxing. This was my first visit to Panama City Beach. There are so many fun activities nearby and lots of availability to restaurants or grocery stores if you decide to cook. I did find a piece of jewelry on the bathroom floor. If you lost it in the month of November and can identify it, just post a reply and I'll make sure you get it. But, the offer expires at the end of November. Tell a friend if she lost something in a recent visit.

It was a good stay until the last night. Someone stole my husband's hat from the swimming pool. The breakfast does not have a good selection. Had to eat breakfast out somewhere else everyday. As were checking out, they had 3 mattresses in the lobby. The mattresses were wrapped in plastic and were taped up with red tape that said for disposal only on the tape. Made me think of bed bugs eww!

I would stay here again! Staff was excellent and friendly. Rooms were clean and spacious. Would have enjoyed a little more variety for the free breakfast, but I can't complain, it was a huge plus to have any type of breakfast. I would recommend this hotel!

The motel in itself isn't bad, especially the location and price; however, a lot of the staff (mostly night time) are rude and down right unfriendly. The property is beach front, and the water is beautiful. The rooms are clean, but dated (you get what you pay for, though). There are a lot of attractions near by, also. There's always hot coffee in the lobby, and the continental breakfast is as expected. Overall the motel is nice, but some of the staff ruin the atmosphere.

The rooms were amazing… We were right on the beach and the staff was very nice. When we first came we were suppose to say at one of there other properties, but they gave us a free upgrade right on the beach and we loved it and enjoyed our family vacation… The only thing was the housekeeping maintenance was horrible, they didn't clean the bathroom right and the girl who had our room was very rude.

Staff has been very polite. Beach is literally 59 yards from the hotel. All rooms are ocean view. Breakfast is pretty good, it is basic with oatmeal muffins and oj and things along that line. Only dislike was there was a few issues with the room like small crack in the wall, little rust on some areas, just hope they don't try to blame us for them.

Great location, on the beach and near tons of restaurants and shopping! just your basic hotel, but we didn't need anything fancy. Clean rooms, nice view of the beach, and friendly staff. I would defiantly recommend this hotel to family and friends!

We had so much fun staying here. Our room was big with a nice balcony. It was clean and stocked with plenty of towels and wash clothes and the little kitchen had some utensils and dishes but we didn't use them. It's a great location right on the beach. The pool was small, but we didn't go to the beach for the pool.

It was the best! I would recommend it to my friends and family!

I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. We got a great off season rate at $104/night for a Sunday and Monday in early May. Although there is nothing spectacular about the room being your basic two queen with a kitchenette, it was very clean and had a great view of the beach out on the private balcony. The entire staff was awesome! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The pool and pool area was clean and I even saw someone attending to the pool several times while we were there. Beach access was easy and parking was good. It is in a great central location on the strip with plenty of food, shopping, and entertainment options close by. It is also close to a pier for people that like to fish. The free breakfast is your basic coffee, juice, muffins, and cereal. The only reason that I am not giving it five stars is that it isn't a five star hotel. It is your basic no frills beach hotel. The location, staff, and cleanliness makes this a four star review. For the price, I don't feel like I could have beat this stay anywhere on the strip. I would definitely recommend it and would return for future stays. Great job and thanks to the staff for making our stay pleasurable.

Nonstick pans were a joke. Got bed bug bites. More humid than an African rainforest. Lady at the front was nice tho. And they have a cool oatmeal machine. But still. Triggered.

It was nice but I only stayed for a minute because I was visiting a friend. Great place though.

Special need kids… WE DONT CARE ABOUT YOU! I am a parent of a special needs child who has a strict diet. Every meal my son eats has to be prepared at home. Therefore when searching for a hotel for our family vacation I specifically found one with a kitchen (stove/oven, refrigerator, etc). True enough, this hotel offers a kitchen but the stove however… each eye on the stove leans so that you cannot cook plus two of them don't even work. I can't prepare by son's meals like this. I call down to the front desk to tell them and get maintenance. They come and agree with me that this particular stove cannot be used to cook and then let's me know that EVERY stove in the hotel is the same so moving to another room is pointless. I then contact my rep at Expedia (who was amazing), who then tries to get the remainder of my stay here refunded so we can find another place. Not looking to be compensated for the time I've been here simply want to part ways and move on to another so we can enjoy our vacation and my son can eat. She is told that the maintenance worker said the stove is fine and there are no issues with it… REALLY! So then the toilet stops working, call the maintenance back to look at that and show them the stove again; They once again say that this is a bad stove and should have been replace long ago. Even after knowing our situation with a special needs child with autism there are no attempt at accommodation. Long story short, I spent $746.56 to stay here.

ONLY giving this hotel even two stars because it did have a great ocean view and the room was pretty nice. The staff was a JOKE. Extremely rude and unfriendly. We called the day before we arrived to see about checking in early and were told that wouldn't be a problem, just to let them know when we arrived and they would have our room ready ASAP. We arrived at 1:00 in the afternoon and went to check in and they said they would call/text us when the room was ready and yelled as we were walking out the door "remember, we have until 4 o clock to have your room ready. " Of course we never received a text or call and waited until after 4 o clock for our room. You are also required to wear ridiculous wristbands if you are there during Spring Break. We were not "spring breakers. " We got threatened with a $100 charge when we took them off for OUR ENGAGEMENT PICTURES! It was an extremely loud area, with lots of yelling, screaming and traffic noise. We were also woken up at 8 AM a few mornings with construction in the hotel. The smell of marijuana was so strong from the room below us, and nothing was done about it. We were also woken up in the middle of the night to a knock at the door being falsely accused of "dumping something over our balcony. " We called to get the Wi-Fi password and what do you know it didn't work. Did I mention they have a $100 fee is you don't wash the dishes?! This place was a joke. We will not be going back, and made sure to get as much money back as possible.

Just arrived this afternoon. So far, it's fine. Pretty bare bones in terms of amenities, but it's on the ocean and every room has a balcony. Downside, ridiculously loud on the street side with outrageously noisy high schoolers everywhere.

This was our first stay here and we loved it! The staff were excellent and our room had an awesome view of the beach!

The hotel room was clean and they even let us check in a bit early since the room was ready. There was a very nice man that walked the grounds a LOT checking on things. I loved that. Parking looked like it was going to be a problem, but it wasn't at all. We even left late one night and came back and still had plenty of parking. Overall, it was great. I do wish they would give you something when you check out because otherwise how would you prove you checked out on time, but if that's their policy and obviously they have never had an issue as I am sure it wld have been on here. Management really seems to be doing a great job at this location. Clean, free of trash, pool and grill areas were clean. Thank you for a nice mini vacation.

This hotel was perfect for our family! We've always wanted to stay right on the beach but have always had a hard time finding something in our price range. We were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived and discovered our room was on the top floor, with a balcony looking out into the sea! The view is amazing. The beach is literally just steps outside. The pool is heated and looks out into the beach as well. There are tons of places to eat within walking distance, and lots of activities for families within walking distance as well (putt-putt, arcade, etc. ). The staff (and other guests! ) are all so friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and wouldn't be surprised if Panama City Beach becomes one of our favorite vacation spots after this trip.

Room okay. The sea view is great. Our safe was broken also could not be repaired by the staff.

Where do I even begin… We brought my kids to the beach for their birthday weekend and stayed at the beach tower and when we first walked in my 8 yr old daughter stepped in something big wet. I thought maybe it was water and hadn't had time to dry yet. Well come to find out after realizing the cleaning crew didn't pick up after the people before us because the beer cans and cigarettes and trash was all under the beds. After confronting the front desk and numerous phone calls we found out that the cleaning crew said someone had thrown up all in the floor between the beds and supposedly she got on her hands and knees to clean it but I don't believe that or they would have seen all the stuff under the beds. Well we have them an opportunity to clean it all up and even after a second attempt at cleaning still didn't get all the stuff from under the beds. Then to top it off I couldn't let my daughter swim in the pool like she wanted to because of all the dope smoking on a balcony directly above the pool. Nobody did anything about that either. I would rather my kids not inhale people's drugs while on vacation for her birthday! It was awful.
