Although staff was friendly and room was very nice. We were disappointed with the complimentary “Hot Breakfast” today
Jan 4th, 2021.
Breakfast available from 6:30-9:30a.
However at 8:30 they were out of eggs, bananas, orange juice, plain bagels, non sugar free syrup… etc.
So, we are now heading to Waffle House to pay for a Hot Breakfast.

Someone smoking weed in the parking lot and having hallway conversations even when asked to keep it down. Considering where this is located, there are not many more options. Either stop at Pensacola or continue on to Tallahassee. Avoid Milton unless you are totally tired and cannot continue on in your journey LOL.

Got there 30 minutes before the Check in time and were told to wait. No problem, they gave us the keys and said room would be ready at 3. Went to the car and waited. Go in around 3:15. Found our room which was propped open and not clean. Also, room was supposed to sleep 5 and there was only a king size bed. At the front desk I was first questioned how I was able to access the room… well the key you gave me and the door being propped open. Then he says I called two weeks ago and changed my room… never happened. I booked online and never even thought about it again. Overall really horrible experience. Now on Father’s Day weekend we are driving with 3 kids trying to find a room.

I highly recommend “this” Holiday Inn Express. I Cannot say enough about them and their staff. They were committed to helping us in every way possible. “Donald” was able to help us out in a huge way. We live in Florida. My young son and a friend broke down coming from Alabama. They needed a room for the night and a tow company. Donald was able to help them get into their room comfortably after they were towed to their place. Again I cannot thank them enough for getting them a room so quickly & looking out for my young adult kiddos! Thank you Holiday Inn Express & Donald!

Very friendly staff good breakfast and a relaxing pool we have stayed here for the past week and have no complaints at all.

I was amazed at how absolutely harvey the bed and pillows we're! I am usually a real pain in the rear about fussing over how aweful trying to sleep in a hotel is because I have an expensive fabulous bed at home but the bed and pillows at this Holiday Inn was like sleeping on clouds it was so comfortable and peaceful, This place is a 10+ in my boom!

Great room! No ventilation in the bathroom, so my wife and I bathed in each other's poo vapors all the live long day. Everything else was wonderful though, so 5 stars!

I attended a seminar on estate planning at this location. Staff were friendly and helpful. The meeting room was clean. Coffee and water were provided by the hotel, all in all it was a very nice atmosphere. This is a very, very nice location.

It was a great room and we had good service. There was no fan in the bathroom which is kinda weird and made for a smelly bathroom, also the shades didn't block the lights outside at night so we hung up a comforter.

They were super kind and it was lovely! Good clean place. Yummy breakfast. Jennifer was the sweetest.

This staff, Jennifer in particular went above and beyond as I struggled with 2 babies to help me. I will rave about this to everyone. Thank you for all that you did. Putting us in a spotless room and for helping this grateful mom.

The rooms were clean and the hotel is nice. We only stayed one night but we had no complaints. Breakfast was good and they had plenty of options.

Pretty good place to stay. Staff is polite. Breakfast is the usual holiday inn breakfast. Its pretty clean, but does have an " old people" smell through out the hotel. My love seat sofa in my room had stains on it, but room was clean and I had no issues. I felt room was cleaned adequately daily by staff and I felt safe at this hotel. The only draw back is there isn't alot of restaurants around. There is a gas station, and a waffle House close by. I would stay here again.

We checked in early on Friday April 6th. My wife had work to do and a internet conference to do. Upon Checking in she got all set up and we couldn’t connect to the internet. Called front desk and was informed internet was down but would be up by 6pm. When we checked out on Sunday April 8th there was still no Internet. My wife had to load up her work stuff and go in town to Hardee’s almost 7 miles away to use internet.
We love the hotel but this was not acceptable. We explained that to the front desk but kind of got the ole oh well attitude.

Excellent hotel! Very clean. Great, friendly staff. All around great hotel! Nice hot breakfast, good free Wi-Fi, good amenities in the rooms, decent prices.

This was by far the best Holiday Inn we have stayed in during our road trip. This was the 4th Holiday Inn and the best. Friendly, helpful staff, extremely clean rooms, complimentary breakfast had great options and a tastefully decorated walk up dining area very clean kept.
Would definitely recommend this Hotel. Easily accessible on I-10 E.

Five stars for Alex and the other folks that work at this location they are very friendly and accommodating. One star for the hotel only because zero is not an option! The staff made up the disappointing physical room! Arriving at 1am, using our points for payment, I was all too happy to find a hotel that would be no money out of pocket. There was a nasty smell that greeted us as we entered the room, luckily, this was a two bedroom room and we (my 33 year old disabled daughter) shared the king bed. Away from the smell. I soon discovered two origins of the smell first being the loveseat, it was stained and reeked! The other source was in the bathroom, the ceiling had mold and at least half of it was peeling and above the tub it was cracked and budging!. As a rule, my shoes are the first thing I kick off as I enter a room (or house), no, not this time! The carpet felt like Velcro trying to hold my foot with each step. The bed spread in the room we slept in had staining that looked like urine so I stripped all the bedding off and used our own blankets to sleep on and under. Using my phone's flash light, I looked for bugs, I did not see any but felt like there may have been something around. We stay at Holiday Inn every six weeks or so for medical treatment near Tampa. It's newer and beautifully kept. Because of that location, I felt comfortable in stopping at this one. Even taking a shower this morning and another one when we arrived at our destination, I still don't feel clean!

Breakfast was great. A couple little beatles crawling in the room. Furniture was very old and banged up. No exhaust fan in bathroom. K-kup machine was nice. Shower curtain had mildew smell. Beds and pillows were nice. Not enough plugs by the bed. It was like a time machine back to 1998.

Great stay, friendly helpful staff, clean rooms, adequate work space. Will definitely stay again.

Stayed there last weekend and the bathtub was FILTHY! Worst experience at any Holiday Inn ever! I would not recommend it.

Jennifer was wonderful straightening out a little hiccup in our reservation. We have stayed at this location twice due to the personal attention, and care received by Jennifer. We booked on the way traveling to Disney and will only stay here on our next trip due in a great part to the staff. Breakfast was what you would expect, good hot side, and plentiful cold side offerings, clean property, rooms.

The staff was welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise with the hot optio s and changing menu. The only negative was our room was called a suite but was nothing more than a glorified room; the sleeping area was separated from the rest of the room by an arch and not a door. Distance to eateries is also a minor drawback.

Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. But this is not Holiday Inn Express quality. Room furnishings are old and stained. Very dark decor. Room smelled and was musty. Bedding was clean and comfortable.

The cleanest hotel I’ve stayed. I highly recommend this hotel! The staff is awesome thy go above and beyond their duty to make you feel like home! I highly recommend!

Evacuating south Florida from a hurricane and was able to get refuge from the path with welcome arms from hotel staff, area is beautiful but not a major metropolitan are so don't evpect much in walking distance.

The rooms smelled of mold. The staff was very friendly and courteous but the hotel itself needed a lot of renovations. I only stayed there because I needed a place to crash after driving a long time. I remember staying at this sane place 7 years ago and it wasn't that bad back then but now I would just keep driving.

I love this motel. It has not been remodeled, but that adds to the charm. Breakfast is very good. Nice meeting room, and Presidential Suite is beautiful. We stayed in a king size suite, and, again, it hasn't been upgraded yet, but it feels like an older luxury motel. Highly recommend you join their rewards program. You get upgraded rooms, and earn free nights. Love it.

The typical excellence of Holiday Inn hotels. The service was top notice and the breakfast area is unique. Though, the rooms are starting to show their age.

Absolutely the best room I have ever stayed in (Presidential Suite), sounds expensive but it was actually quite a bit cheaper than other hotels closer to the beach with just a basic room. The best breakfast I have ever eaten at a hotel as well. I would go back just for the cinnamon rolls!

Quiet, cozy, like the beer and chips from management. Beds cozy and comfortable. Great healthy breakfast in the morning.

The room was clean and quiet. The AC in room 306 barely worked. The staff was great and very friendly.

Our stay was really quite acceptable up until the last day of service. My husband and I are social smokers — we only smoke cigarettes where the law designates it is allowed and we never litter our cigarette filters (i. E. We'd rather store cigarette filters in the trash than the ground, no matter where we are or where the filter was acquired). On the last day of service at this hotel I allowed housekeeping to do a routine check on our room since I had not requested any extra services. I feel the most comfortable cleansing my own area but I understand hotel policies and have no problem with them. My husband was sleeping so I asked that the keepers please be silent — he has had major head trauma and we both work night shift. I allowed the housekeepers to look over the room and take the trash/dirty linens. It was fairly painless and I had just returned to bed when I receive a call from the front desk asking us to vacate the property immediately or quarrel with the police. Apparently you cannot throw away cigarette filters in your trash or else be accused of smoking them in your non-smoking suite. I reiterate — if you smoke cigarettes do not get a non-smoking room. You will promptly very accused of smoking in your room (your expensive weekend room since it was the holidays) and will be told they may fine you up to $200.00 for an action you did not carry out. Up until this incident our service was quite alright. The rooms are a little dinghy and a musty odor was present in ours.

This place is disgusting. The room smells terrible, dirty linens on the floor in the closet, dirty shower, no soap and a soap dish with hair in it. Talked to the night manager about it 5 minutes after checking in and while she did bring clean linens, she suggested we leave the dirty ones in the closet and housekeeping would take care of the rest in the morning. We have been driving all day and it's after midnight. Guess we're sleeping in filth tonight because I don't have the energy to drive one more mile. Never again.

This hotel does not seems to belong to the chain Holiday Inn. It is magnificently beautiful inside and clean, is very pleasant and nice and the rooms very comfortable and modern. Also will include several channels of HBO free. And continental breakfast is included with workers very dedicated and accommodating.

The staff at this hotel have been nothing less than the best! Great experience staying here! The management and housekeepers have made this the best visit home in a while!

Nice comfortable place. Decent breakfast. Only suggestion, a sidewalk ramp of some sort in rear of hotel near pool area as that would make rolling luggage easier to get up & down sidewalk. Very minor thing. Staff was very helpful. Room was clean. Beds comfortable. Would stay again.

Good service and roims. Gym was a little sad looking but overall good.

Great place to stay, friendly staff. Everyone was accommodating. It was a little loud, but there were many children there and we were on the first floor. I will definitely stay there again.

Nasty smell. Even though the facility is announced as a smoking free place, it stinks. Just disgusting.

Hotel is dated from the 90s. Pick the beach or pensecola holiday inn location instead. It's an ok hotel; however, I experienced sticky counter tops, old towels, and a non working nightstand light. If it wasn't for the sign in front I would not have known this is an IHG property.

Good location, close to the highway. Fairly new facility and clean well appointed rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Very good value for the money.

Loved the friendly staff. Room was very clean, everything worked well. Not much outside surrounding area. Waffle House and convenience store. Grocery store not far north of hotel. Would love to know the brand of mattresses they use.

Friendly staff. Nice place to stop on road trips. Pool is small but OK and clean. My gripe was with the Wi-Fi to be this slow. Crawling speeds. If you depend on Wi-Fi for work (as I do), you'll run into issues. I only run my browser on my phone. An occasional game when bored? … maybe. Both would lag and restarting your OS won't do a thing. Wasn't thrilled with this for the price of the room. Mind you, the parking lot wasn't packed with visitors at night or during the day for such a lag. I'd expect this from a 1/2 star place. Fix it and speed up the network — *drastically*. It's embarrassing and completely sad for such a well known chain. Couldn't do my work from here. Unreal.
