Rooms are very spacious and breakfast is good, especially cinnamon bun waffles! It was a new one for me but very good. Front desk was very helpful. My only negative would be that the pool area was not very clean or attractive. It is in need of an update.

Run down and not cared for. First impression was not very good. Garbage dumpster gate of hinges and dumpster was overloaded and trash piled up around dumpster. Gutter hanging off hotel. Garden hose off the reel and weeds growing thru it. Bags of top soil piled up next to main enterance. Swimming pool has weeds growing out of cracks, beer bottles and bottle caps everywhere needs cleaned.

This hotel is awful. It's in desperate need of a deep cleaning & repair. I would only recommend if you have no other options. I regret not reading reviews myself before booking this one. We had to make a trip from southern Florida to San Antonio, TX for a funeral & stayed in Choice hotels along the way & back. We tried to stick with Comfort Suites thinking they were generally affordable with a similar standard across the board. Unfortunately, my thinking was wrong & it's something Choice needs to reel in if they have any pride in their brand. We have stayed in 6 Comfort Suites & one Sleep Inn over the past 7 days & they varied so much that I wouldn't even know where to begin in describing them. Of the 7, I would only recommend 3 & this is not one. In fact, this is the first one I felt compelled to write a review on. The overall poor quality coupled with the general inconsistencies within the brand make me question whether or not I need to reconsider using Choice branded hotels in the future. What a disappointment.

When we arrived in our room after a long stressful day of driving, their were dirty towels and underwear on the bathroom floor! And this was at 9:30 p. M.

This place is badly in need of renovation. Front desk is slow and spends too much time chatting when there is a line of guests waiting to check in. Breakfast could have had a little more choice. On a scale of Quality Inn to Comfort Inn this place barely makes it to Sleep Inn.

This property needs attention! The bathtub built-in shower mat was filthy. It possibly had never been cleaned or scrubbed. The bathroom vanity was lighted by two different light fixtures. Large holes in the wall had paint applied to them but not repaired. The doors had dirt and grime. The indicating that they had never even been wiped down.

Good beds, decent breakfast. Friendly staff. Overpriced like everything else on graduation week.

While on a road trip I stayed here due to bad weather, I didnt want to continue driving in those bad conditions so decided to stay at this property with my family. We choose this property over the Howard Johnson behind it because it looked better from the outside. The room rate that night was higher than Howard Johnson's next door but we still choose Comfort Inn because it looked better. However, once we got up to the room we found the room numbers on the floor just sitting by the doors. The ice machine on our floor looked disgusting. The room smelled musky and looked outdated, some of the walls were dirty. The door to the restroom was dirty as well, it had greasy fingerprints all over. The restroom floor was super sticky. The next morning the housekeeper was in the hallway banging things, talking super loud and woke us up. He came to knock on our door for service and it was only about 8am. Later in the day we requested more towels, toilet paper, and a late check out. The front desk receptionist was very rude and said she would need to charge us an extra fee of $20 for an extra hr. Although the hotel seemed empty, there was no cars in the lot. She also seemed bother with our request for additional items. I will definitely not stay at this property or any Comfort Inn again.

Trashy and poorly maintained. The place stunk so bad. It was obvious that maintenance was not on their list of priorities. As soon as you walk in you notice broken flooring and damage everywhere. The rooms were dirty and poorly cared for. When I attempted to use the iron I found that it stunk like cat pee and had an inch of dust on it that wasn't removable. The staff are equally as unhelpful. When I asked about Wi-Fi she had the nerve to say it was "retarded" for a hotel not to have it.

I am a Choice Hotel member and stayed in several of their hotels. This one by far is the worse. Room not clean as it should be. Inside the room walls were dirty/stained. The sitting chair in room dirty. The bathroom was not properly cleaned. Dirty wash towels from previous guest were still hanging on shower curtain rod. Dont know how this location receive 4 star. Wont be staying here again.

Love staying here when I visit family. Rooms are clean. Good location. Great breakfast.

Abandoned more every day the services are regular, the bathrooms, the laundry dirty and deteriorated. The towels in the showers very old, broken and lousy. In general the piles truck stops, they are like that.

This location is always kept up and the rooms are always clean. The staff is helpful at all times. The breakfast is full of variety and fresh. The room seem more spacious than most hotels in this category.

Nice mid-range hotel to stay at for the DAY football game. This is our 2nd time staying here. Only criticism is they need to add a rack of dumbbells and a bench to the workout room. The industrial park next door serves as a good track to go for a jog.

I'm local I just wanted to get away. Everything was great, the room and lobby was really clean and smelled so good. I will definitely go back to visit.

Jay at the front desk was a sweetheart! My family and I arrived late at night after a long drive from Orlando with too young very tired children. Jay was so patient and courteous. He put us in a very comfortable room and was very speedy about getting a a cot up to our room for our teenager before we even made our way up. Everything seemed clean and tidy except for the top bedspread on our king size bed which looked like it had been used several times between washes. That's why I'm giving this review 4 stars instead of 5.

Left phone. 3 hrs down the road I realized it was not with me. Called the motel and told the desk clerk I believe I left my phone. He told me the cleaning crew found it and turned it in. He said he would mail it to me. I paid for the postage. They didn't charge a penny for there time and trouble. Got home 2 days later and my phone was waiting. Dollar for dollar, if you are visiting Montgomery or passing through, this is the place to stay. PS, the breakfast is excellent and free. Sweet.

Room was not as described when we booked it. Desk clerk did not know what to do and was instructed to speak to the manage in the morning. The manager said that he would only deal with am issue at check-in and said the clerk should have called him. Manager told me to contact the company about the error in the description. It stated the the handicap room has a walk in shower and that it only meant that the bathroom itself was big. The room was clean and the king bed was comfortable, but the sofa bed mattress was too thin and you could feel the bed frame. Trash all over the ground at the entrance near the dumpster.

I only gave this hotel two stars because of the front desk clerk, at check-in (Miss. Mason), she was very friendly and had a great attitude. The rest of the staff seem to hate their jobs. The rooms smelled like smoke and mildew (claims to be a smoke-free hotel). The lock on my door was broken, not a huge issue because it was not the main lock. The pool area smelled like something had died and was left to rot. The trash can in the pool area was overflowing with trash and flies. I travel a lot due to my daughter playing travel softball and chose this hotel because it is part of Choice Hotels. I have never had an issue with any of their hotels, until this one. I do not recommend staying there to anyone.

Very hospitable workers but the rooms smell too much of cigarettes.

Clean room, clean bathroom, comfortable beds, friendly people at the front desk, and a good breakfast. I couldn't ask for more. Only one minor negative: the Wi-Fi was very slow, too slow to be usable, the one night we were there. Still, that doesn't detract from the hotel. I definitely recommend this hotel.

If your a non-smoker, don't bother staying here. We booked a non-smoking room & were put on the 3rd floor which reeked of smoke the second we stepped out of the elevator. Our room reeked of smoke & our bed spread had a large cigarette burn. I called the front desk to ask if they had a designated non-smoking area and she said we were in a non-smoking room & that all of the rooms are non-smoking as of the beginning of this year. She told me to turn the air up & the smoke smell should go away. The smell never did go away. This was a miserable stay & all of our stuff we took into the room smells awful now. A place can not switch smoking rooms to non-smoking without replacing the carpet, upholstery & beding & expect the smell to not be there. Would not recommend this hotel & will never stay here again.

The staff at the Kodiak location were awesome. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again.

We had a very nice room with two queen beds and a love seat. Which was great with 2 adults and 3 kids. Nice clean room and hotel.

We stayed on the third floor and didn't experience anything like the previous poster. This is a non-smoking hotel and the rooms were very clean. The beds are soft and there are two soft pillows and two slightly firm pillows on each bed. Breakfast was what you would expect. Eggs, sausage, pastries, cerial, waffle maker, toaster, fruit and yogurt. I would stay here again.

We stay at Comfort Inns and Hampton Inns when we travel to and from Texas to visit our son and family twice a year. We have never had problems with Hampton Inns and only a few with Comfort Inns. The Comfort Inn in Midway is where we stayed on December 26, 2015 on our way home. We requested a non-smoking room. The first room we were assigned to was on the 2nd floor. Riding up on the elevator, the smoke was heavy in the hallways and the elevator. I inspected the room on the 2nd floor we were assigned, the sheets had not been changed, still had telltale wrinkles, and long black strands of hair on one side, and telltale perfume on the other side. We requested another room and was assigned one on the 3rd floor. Stepping off the elevator and walking down the hall, it was obvious this was where they put the smokers. The girl at the desk named DJ was a very sweet girl and was very apologetic, saying she didn't smoke, so couldn't tell the difference if people smoked in the rooms or not. We were finally given a room on the first floor. We will not be staying here again.

Clean and comfortable rooms.

EXCELLENT! I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. Great staff and great breakfast. Parking lot extremely clean and inviting. If I didn't live in Texas, I would move into this place in a heartbeat.

We stayed here for the florida statevs. Florida game in 2014 it was a great room! We will definitely be coming back to this hotel on our next home game visits.

For the price, not so bad. The towels were thin, along with the walls but the staff was nice. You get what you pay for.

Arrived just before the end of the FSU/UF game. Looked nice from the outside. Lobby was very nice, clean, new looking. Hallway looked clean and new; I am thinking a renovation recently. Our room was small, but very clean and new in appearance. The bathroom was clean, with minor cosmetic damage in the shower; it looks like the soap dish got pulled off. One of the bedside lamp shades had a large tear/scratch, but I just turned it to the wall. Overall, the room was in excellent condition, the bed was super comfy, and the pillows are ridiculously soft and squishy. One of the downsides is there are no nice restaurants nearby, just a Denny's and a Waffle House.

Not enough towels or toiletries. Bath mat was shredded and when I handed it to the receptionist she just laughed at me, took it and threw it in the garbage. The room absolutely stank, as did all the soft furnishings, and the air con didn't work properly. The windows didn't open. The fridge made so much noise it almost drowned out the snoring from the next room. The walls were paper thin. Sleeping on the floor would have been more comfortable than the bed and as for breakfast, great if you wanted brown soggy bananas to go, as there was no room to swing a cat! I used to work for this chain, and I was absolutely disgusted with the quality of service in this particular establishment.

Decent location and hotel was clean. Quality wasn't as high as it should be for a hotel in this chain. Towels were very thin, like they should have been replaced years ago.

Could easily hear conversation and snoring to the walls. Towels were thin and cheap. Good TV and channels were plenty. Breakfast was standard minimal fare. I won't stay there again. Too many better choices.

We were on our way back to texas. We saw the sign for this hotel and we decide to stay here, mainly based on its suite. We got a room with roll-over. The room is big. Bathroom is huge!. We only stayed one night. We really loved it! we will recommend this to our fridends. Very nice.
