Excellent location and just a walk to the beach!

Friendly staff, great location, excellent rooms!

My review is mixed, phenomenal location, very clean, very nice employees, very nice rooms, very nice heated pool.
My 2 complaints,
1. Walls are paper thin I hear everything my neighbors talk about like they are in my room 2. It is dog friendly, I love dogs, however when im trying to enjoy vacation poolside or relaxing on my balcony, the relentless barking of multiple dogs can be annoying. But I would def stay here again.

Close to the beach. Friendly staff. Convenient parking for an area with limited parking.

Location is just a few blocks from beach which is great. View in suite is amazing to watch the sunrises. Only down falls are: the mold in the shower, finger prints in drywall mud left behind to left of shower. Shower pressure great and staff is super friendly. I will be back.

This hotel has a great location one block in from the beach. Close to many restaurants to grab meals and drinks. Parking is free when staying at the hotel which is hard to come by in prime locations such as this residence inn. The pool is nice and has many couches and tables surrounding it.

Something has gone very wrong this year. Staff ignored guests, didn’t even look up. The front desk and housekeeping seem to be very poorly trained in customer service, which is what a hotel is about. I am a very warm hearted, easy-going person, and this was my third stay at this hotel. The first two years the staff was excellent. It also appears that management doesn’t want to be on property. As a former customer service trainer, I must say that the staff usually follows the tone set by management. There was a small incident where one of the housekeepers mistakenly thought that my bag of food was trash because I was also keeping my recycling in it, cardboard coffee cup and a couple of cardboard cracker boxes. She took the bag of food out of my room. It contained organic crackers and flat bread, organic apples, fresh market coffee, bamboo coffee filters, and a couple of other things. When I contacted management about it, just like the other one star review that I just read, management just denied that anything had happened. A simple apology would’ve made things right, but neither manager, including the general manager, were disposed to an apology. Disappointed and will be finding another hotel to stay at next year.

I go to Delray Beach every year to take a class. Discovered this hotel two years ago, so this was my third stay. Something is terribly wrong now. Staff does not acknowledge guests, even when checking in and do not seem interested in answering questions. Management does not seem interested in being on site and, when they call back, they tell you to call a different manager. I had an incident occur for which I should have gotten, at the very, very least, a simple "We're sorry" but instead, I was told it never happened. I'm a pretty even-keeled, open-hearted person, but I'm not staying here again. This was a huge disappointment as previously the staff was excellent.
And, by the way, take it from a former customer service trainer, the behavior and attitude of staff is always a reflection of management. Sorry Marriott chose this management team!

Great renovated rooms with full kitchen. Beautiful pool, nice staff. The King room has a queen sleeper sofa. Location cannot be any better!

If you’re choosing between staying at this hotel or the full service one next door choose this one. On Fourth of July we booked a room at the full service Marriott and had nothing but trouble. They were obviously overwhelmed and rude. They gave us a room with one king sized bed for a family of four. We ended up moving over to this hotel after an hour on the phone with customer service and we could be happier. The staff at the front desk was lovely and the room was nicer than the full service hotel. The manager was amazing and so kind. They were very accommodating and I had ZERO issues at the residence inn. Next time I decide to stay in delray, I’ll be choosing this hotel again.

Big room. Very comfortable bed. Large TV. Could see the beach from hotel. Worth the $ for family stay.

Great hotel. I have been staying here for years and love Residence Inns. This one is getting a bit old and dated. It is time for an upgrade.

This is the Hotel of Fake Cookies. And yes, I know how crazy that sounds. This is a normal everyday Marriott hotel. Yet, with one important difference — your worst nightmare. They constantly play a practical joke on guests using the seeds of harmless-yet-devilish evil… A false promise of … a free check-in cookie! … I know. The nerve… The world may as well come to an end… But wait, there's more… Not only does the hotel always always offer a "free check-in cookie, " but they also lie about when the last cookie was taken. THEY TELL EVERY GUEST THAT ASKS, THAT ANOTHER GUEST JUST TOOK THE LAST ONE! It doesn't matter whether the last cookie was eaten 10 hours or 10 seconds ago. The staff will always say: "Oh I'm so sorry, you just missed it! " Now you can allow your soul to deflate. Not only does the hotel not stock and offer cookies. But they lie about them. Otherwise, all is good.

Our stay was very comfortable, the staff are kind and generous people. Also delray beach is within walking distance and it is by far my favorite beach so far. Alot going on around so there is plenty to do! I would definitely stay here again.

Standard hotel, not a lot of frills. Very nice location, decent room amenities for the price and location. The free breakfast is NOT good, but the staff is very friendly. Beach is close and there are tons if great local restaurants.

Comfortable accommodations, friendly staff, and visibility clean. Breakfast was very good with great varieties of everything. Parking was adequate, not ideal. I would stay again.

Very nice hotel. Not immaculate, but very nice still. Great location! You could throw a rock in the ocean from here. Fitness center is kinda cramped. Lobby is very well furnished and comfortable. I'd definitely look to book here again.

Located right in between the beach and the restaurant night life area. Walking distance to everywhere. Clean with fully equipped kitchen in the room with everything u need to cook and eat. Pool is heated and I liked that if the beach was windy the hotel blocked the wind and you could still swim and tan comfortably. Complamently breakfast was good and fresh. They have coffee available all day and lemon water.

Year after year we come back to Delray Beach and the Residence Inn. It is the best combination of comfort, location, amenities, and value on the strip. Some of the rooms are better than others, for the same price? Great service from Darren!

Have been living here since my home burned down and am delighted with the wonderful staff and wonderful service. Room Big and well kept. Great place for us.

Great location, rooms are well appointed and recently renovated. Nice view from the balcony as well. The free breakfast has plenty to choose from. Would definitely stay here again!

Its fine. Rooms are large. My room had a bad veiw of rat traps and a fence. Get a pool facing room. Pool closes at dark. But out side of being told that. It was not inforced. Great location. Every thing is a short walk.

This might be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I never write a review bc I’m easy to please. The rooms were reminiscent of 1970. I asked room service to clean my room at noon and I would be back at 6. Not cleaned. I had an emergency delivery that I informed the front desk to call me ASAP when it arrived. No call. I would sleep in a tent before I ever stayed there again. Mike.

Loved it. It's pretty laid back and not pretentious as a hotel, but still maintains high standards. It's right next to the beach. The pool and gym are 24 hours. Every room has a kitchenette and they will go grocery shopping for you as well! They even put out fresh baked cookies every afternoon.

Very nice hotel. Located in a great area of restaurants and bars. All within walking distance. About 100 yards to beach.

Rooms could use updating. The lobby and dining area was very nice and the employee's at the front desk were friendly and outgoing. The breakfast area ran out of non-pork related options and were not able to bring out anymore, which was surprising for a beach centered facility located in a very popular area. The dining area was very clean and easy to get around. But the area for guest to serve themselves could have been bigger or better spread out so that guest weren't on top of one another waiting to eat the complimentary breakfast.
The rooms were just sub-par to me. I have been in better. The hallways were horrible to walk down, the air was nonexistent in the hallways. I literally ran to the room from elevators.

View was beautiful. Close to the beach. Clean room. Soft bed. Pretty good breakfast. Limited garage parking unless you're handicap. Lots of shops within walking distance. Kitchenette was handy. Responsive to room service requests via Android app. Would stay again.

We had a great time here. Staff from this hotel is superb, professionalism and very polite. Distance from beach is only 4 minutes walk. Love it. We will definitely come back. The parking lot a bit small but not a big deal.

Staff always helpful and friendly… Breakfast is great to have… location is terrific… BUT when is the Owner going to put some $$ back into this place. It could be soooooo much better with upgraded rooms… We just Can't return until they do…

The hotel was perfect and affordable for a quick weekend getaway. Close to the beach and great location with lots of shops and restaurants. The room was clean, spacious, and noticably upgraded. Loved our stay.

Fantastic, caring staff! My 87 1/2 year old mom had an absolutely wonderful time at the Marriott Residence Inn in Delray Beach during the month of March 2017. Everything from her room on the 11th floor to the abundant breakfasts to the lovely pool area and fantastic front desk team was perfect. We highly recommend this property — in a great Delray location. Thank you for everything!

Great location. We had a studio with a kitchen and balcony with an amazing ocean view. Love the layout of the room, comfortable bed and quiet at night, pool area is very nice, free breakfast, friendly staff, would definitely stay again!

Staff tells you they will help but they never do. It has been three days since I asked the manager to contact me and I'm still waiting! They tell you that you can get a one bedroom but when you arrive you are told they are not available. They put us in a room that smelled awful and viewed an air conditioning unit. They said they were fully booked and that was all that was available. After informing them that it was unacceptable, somehow they "found" a room for us with a view and terrace. I pity the person who had this room. They get the smelly one. The hot tub has been filled with soap suds for three days and has not been cleaned. Never again. I called Marriot customer service and they didnt do anything for us. Goodbye Marriott!

Starting with the room, it was very spacious with a decent sized kitchen, living area with bed and the bathroom was separated into 2 rooms. The bathroom looked recently renovated, but the other rooms were not. Our room also had a nice ocean view from the 8th floor. The bed was very firm… not to our liking… and the pillows were too plump and firm. We prefer thinner, softer pillows. The bed definitely hindered our sleep. We didn't use any of the property amenities other than the complimentary breakfast which is the standard fare. You get what you pay for. Housekeeping left mints for us which was a nice touch. Would probably try a different property next time though. Sorry.

This is a very nice property. I was happy to find a vacancy at 10 pm. I was very tired so when I realized that I was in a room with a bad flea infestation as I laid in the bed, I did not have the energy to repack and demand another room. I caught one flea on the bed and another got away. The next morning I was bitten again. Total of about ten bites. I left early and told the front desk person that the room had a flea problem. She indicated that they would investigate. Then contact me by phone or email. Never happened. My gut feeling was that she doubted me. I did not ask for a discount. I assumed that they would want to fumigate the room before the next victim checked in. All in all a very disappointing experience. Regards Eric Nelson.
