Lost track of how many times I’ve stayed here, but when I finally moved here, permanently, I still visit several times a week!

Although I recommend staying at this centrally located hotel in Delray Beach (rooms & pool were great) beware of the GM at this location. He (Will) is such a pathetic excuse for a GM. I have been working at Hilton properties for about 5 years (front desk & supervisor) and I have had amazing GM’s who’ve showed me nothing but grace when handling/dealing with guests. I’m a good guest, I tip well, I’m polite, (being in the hospitality industry SHOULD do that to you). Unfortunately, Will got lucky somewhere along the road and became a GM. My story: Called the hotel 2 weeks before arriving to make sure I can pay in full with cash at check-in all while still providing a CC for incidental purposes. Front desk agent said yes, you can (children lost 2 debit cards before vacation, cards weren’t coming in until we returned, whatever). I arrive, Front office Manager, Donna, assures me they can’t accept cash upon check-in, but, Will (GM) is nearby, and again since I was trying to pay IN FULL for my stay with cash, she was going to run it by him, before she could even finish what she was explaining to him, he was shaking his head no while approaching me to tell me himself that they couldn’t do it, I nicely explained that I called the hotel, they advised me I could otherwise I would’ve made other arrangements. THIS told me he didn’t believe me. To say I was shocked is an understatement. I didn’t lie to this fool.

My husband and I have stayed here a few times and always have the best experience. Very clean and spacious rooms, super easy check in and in the perfect spot to explore the area. A great value and cozy spot for a romantic get away.

This is my third summer visiting this hotel. The location is amazing right in the heart of all the best restaurants and shops. What a great hotel! It's always so clean and cozy!

Hotel is very nice and comfortable. Good sized room and bathroom. Warm, strong shower. Parking is extremely limited and expensive. Breakfast was okay. The reason for my low rating is due to the fact that a member of the housekeeping crew opened my personal letters (presumably searching for money in them). These are personal letters where I detailed about my depression, and struggles. This is not something that I would want anyone else reading apart from the person it was meant for. Came back to the letters turn open and held together by a elastic band. When we questioned the front desk we were told that is how they found them and that they were already opened. No they were not. This is an incredible breach of privacy. I would rather not have my room cleaned then for someone to open a letter, and sling it in the trash opened. Managers at this hotel did not care at all about this matter. I am deeply upset about this, and I am considering taking it further up in the Hyatt management. I hope someone at the Hyatt Delray can contact me soon to address this issue or I will be taking it to members higher up in command. This is seriously not okay.

Location is what makes this place as it is surrounded by nightlife. My problem is a paid for a high floor w view of pool and city. The hotel has FOUR FLOORS, lol. Didn't get a view and paid about 40 extra for this. Bar is nice and the food is decent, the staff is good and It's not there fault that they work for a company that lies.

Great hotel! First time staying in a Hyatt and all I can say is that I'm impressed! Pretty much every other hotel I've stayed in have sucked as compared to staying here. Clean rooms, great pool, friendly staff (esp. During breakfast service! ), and breakfast was great! Beer list was great and featured local beers = awesome! Bartender even knew all the beers = sweet! I know I'll be looking to stay at other Hyatt's when traveling in the future!

It was good. We loved the location but the advertisements definitely exaggerate. Poolside cocktails is you calling up on the phone by the pool and then walking down and picking them up yourself after 5pm when the bartender gets in. Large rooms were musty and in our 10 days there were cleaned just 2x. No room service or real food. Prepacked salads with soda's next to registration and a nice breakfast were available. However… Donna at the front desk was a doll and she cares so much about her customers. She is a 5 star manager.

This is the first time we have stayed at the Hyatt in Delray Beach. Very centrally located and walking distance to Atlantic Avenue. Great restaurants and cafes closeby. That hotel is very well run and that front desk is highly efficient and friendly. Has nice bar and excellent happy hour drinks. Terrific free and very nutritious breakfast. During summer the prices are very reasonable to stay. Rooms are very comfortable and most of them have great views. Great swimming pool on the roof top.

Great Value for the money, excellent breakfast with a lot of food choices and it is free with your stay. Excellent location in the heart of Delray Beach.

Bar food greatly needs to be improved. Service is very slow as well. They need to add wings and an iceberg wedge to their menu. The ambiance is fine. It is a great venue for karaoke.

Great service and perfect location. Situated right next to the avenue, within walking distance of all the sights. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. I will definitely book here again.

Amazing hotel, rooms are super clean and comfortable. We had a balcony to sit out. Breakfast buffet was on point and all the staff very helpful. Will stay again.

Last year we stayed at the Delray Beach Hyatt and loved it so we booked again for 2018. It was a horrible experience. The food quality and staff have gone down hill as well as overall cleanliness. There were tons of kids under the age of 5 in the pool everyday and they never cleaned it. The cleaning people knock on the door every hour to clean your room & there is no do not disturb sign. My family and I all had stomach issues due to the food.

Absolute worst place I've stayed. One star is too much. Lying cheating staff be careful at check in and check out. They add fees and other miscalanious reason to add things to your bill. In a fight with staff over petty arrangements that could have been handled. Go to the Marriott on the water of del ray if you would like a care free easy vacation hotel.

The lobby space is beautiful. It provides a lot of cozy space to sit and talk, eat breakfast and have a drink. We were there for a business meeting and the space was a bit cramped for our group. But the technology all worked perfectly, the staff was attentive and the temperature control was perfect. Our room was very comfortable. It had a nice desk, sofa and King Size bed. The bathroom layout was spacious. We had a nice view of the pool from the 4th floor. The pool was comfortable to relax and read, but the water temperature was too warm. The fitness room was quite poor. The temperature was 78 degrees, there was no TV or entertainment. A limited number equipment and a very small space. The breakfast was excellent well stocked and maintained. The staff is fine, they are helpful, but not terribly sincere.

Pricey for the limited accommodations. Everything is an extra charge; parking, dog fee. Train went by several times through night blowing a horn and it might as well been coming through our room. Very loud, you can hear outside and hallway noises. The air conditioner said 68, but shuts down when there is no movement in the room. I understand it helps save energy but makes it very uncomfortable when your sleeping and the ac shuts down. The room got very stuffy and would not go any lower than 68. It was at least 75-80 in our room. And our family in another room experienced the same thing. We only had decaf coffee in the room. If I am going to spend $600 to sleep in a hotel I will definitely look for better quality next time.

We liked this place. Roomy room with clean and comfortable amenities. Breakfast was described as continental but was actually full and different every day. Nice pool and good location just off the Atlantic strip.

My husband is a Globalist with Hyatt, so we stay at Hyatts quite often. This Hyatt place is very cute and small. It has comfortable beds and great amenities!

Great place at a decent price. Rooms clean and furnished nicely. Staff is great they clearly enjoy their jobs.

Parking was unreasonably expensive. Breakfast was disappointing — I generally get better breakfast at the Hampton or Holiday Inn Express. The bed was comfortable and the room was about what I would expect. I've had much better hotels for much lower prices.

Just checked out today. We stayed during the hurricane due to loss of power at our place. The hotel staff are amazing people, very kind and diligent. My boyfriend and I were very impressed by the service from people who didn't leave the hotel for 3 days. The room was a perfect retreat. Nice job Hyatt!

Being a local, I've had numerous interactions with the Hyatt Place over the last couple of years. We've booked rooms for family and friends that have all had great experiences. This week in the wake of hurricane Irma, we were simply looking for a meal and somewhere to cool off for an hour. The staff at Hyatt Place was incredibly welcoming. The lobby, bar and restaurant were all overflowing with hotel guests and locals. The hotel was offering their breakfast for a low price to everyone that walked in. I was amazed that they had enough food inventory to provide that volume of meals. The staff was great and everyone was very thankful to have a place to recharge. Thanks for the compassionate service.

Hyatt place is located in the heart of and within walking distance of everything that Delray Beach has to offer. The staff is courteous and attentive. They have food and drinks available and a nice breakfast. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are excellent. The hotel is dog friendly and that was one of the reasons I chose it. Would stay here again.

Clean, well kept, nice staff, very nice breakfast. Machines working in exercise room. Ac not very cold in room. Got hard time over fed gov paperwork. Probably not their fault. Very nice location.

Very nice rooms and friendly staff. One of the best Continental breakfast I have had at a hotel. Only downside is that the air conditioning is sensor monitored so if you are out for the day your room will default to 75deg and takes awhile to cool down.

3rd floor room overlooking the pool. The room was very nice and the beds were comfey. I suggested better quality towels as they are small and rough. Also, it would be nice if they delivered food to the pool if that is where you are located. To have to leave the pool, walk downstairs just to grab your food was not what I would expect from a restaurant in downtown Delray.

I would normally recommend this place highly based upon location and value. However, the management has taken it upon themselves to be in full control of the climate control in all the rooms. I can't remember the last time I wasn't able to adjust the temperature in my own room in any hotel worldwide. This is a cynical and patronizing approach to saving a few dollars while it completely alienates guests. This will clearly be the last time I book or recommend this property in Delray Beach. There are better, and more accommodating, alternatives.

The hotel is new, clean, and nice. The room/bathroom was plain but nice and had everything we needed. Front desk staff was helpful, even at late hours of the night when we arrived and asked for good places to eat at nearby. The pool deck was a little disappointing because it only got sun in the afternoon. The walk to the beach was doable (only about 20 mins) and really enjoyable considering you can stop along the way at the stores and shops. The evening live entertainment was enjoyable. Overall we had a great stay, I would recommend it as well as stay here again.

Just finished my third stay with Hyatt Place Delray Beach. Great value, great location (a block from E Atlantic Ave. Which is where all the fun is), and about a 10 minute walk to the beach. Hotel offers a modern design that is clean and welcoming. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The hotel bar, snack area, pool, gym, and live music at certain nights make it a great all-in-one hotel. I can't stress enough about the location as it is right next to the art building, a block away from probably the best Mexican restaurant/ bar in town (El Camino), and the main hustle and bustle area of the E. Atlantic Ave. Strip is right there. This is the hotel to go to!

This small hotel is in downtown Delray Beach. I was there for a meeting using the first floor amenities. The lobby is very small and broken up into even smaller alcoves and sitting areas. It is hard to tell where the front desk is, partly because it looks more like a snack bar and partly because it is hard to find someone there a lot of the time. One of the attendants, Clayton, doesn't know what customer service is. The bar area may or may not have a bartender. Staffing is just haphazard. They don't offer food services so that becomes an extra step in planning an event. Overall, I think there are better, easier to get to venues that probably have better customer service.

This hotel is brand new, and it's kept in impeccable shape and care. Staff is very helpful and attentive. Rooms are large (I had a suite) and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was included with my rate and it was quite good and filling. Parking was also included and I never had trouble finding a spot. Best of all is location. It's right off of Atlantic Ave, walking distance to everything in Delray Beach.

Great location. Can be reasonably priced off season. Not a great value as they charge $17.50 per day. Unless you absolutely must be in downtown Delray, there are much better values elsewhere.

I loved our final room… I had reserved a KING BED, when I got there it was a room with double queen beds. I called and said hey this is not what I reserved, they said sorry we are cleaning our windows SO WE CANT fulfill ur request. But in the end they fixed it for us.

I just checked into the Hyatt Delray Beach Florida. The immediate problem I am having though is that I filled the bathtub to soak after a long day of travel and the water was a greenish yellow color. I am dehydrated from travel, but cannot bear to put this water into my body. It has a strong flavor that is not typical of water, not to mention the color. So I called the front desk and asked " do people drink the tap water? " Maybe she did not understand my question, because the answer was "no". I then asked if there was drinking water available and was told that for $3.49 I could purchase a 2 cup bottle of water. She said that the hotel water was filtered, but obviously the filter has failed. Water should not be this color and should not have the flavor that it does. So drinking the water is unacceptable, paying $1.75 for a cup of clean water is unacceptable and going to bed tonight dehydrated is unacceptable. What to do, what to do? I just lost my good feelings for the Hyatt.

Rooms and lobby area were modern and clean. Free breakfast hit the spot. Pool food/bar delivery was a little slow but convenient.

The location of the hotel is perfect! It is in walking distance to a lot of bars and restaurants. We even walked to the beach from the hotel. We have stayed at this property each time we go to Delray and absolutely love it. Everyone that works there is extremely pleasant. Our a/c unit was not working the last time we were here and we told the hotel. They immediately sent someone up to look at it and apologized. When we went back to the room later that night it had not cooled down so we called the front desk and they ended up moving us to a different room. The next morning someone at the front desk called to follow up on our new room — we were very impressed by this. Great hotel with great staff!

The lobby and the room were modern and clean. The staff were helpful and we slept great. I was mostly disappointed by the other amenities. There was no proper room service (which is my personal favorite hotel amenity) and for most of the day there was no proper hotel bar, just a weird counter where the receptionist serves mimosas. At breakfast we had to hunt down plates and cups which drove me nuts as someone who was deeply hungover from a lovely wedding. They did accommodate a large group with 20+ rooms quite well with no issues.

Great location close to all the great restaurants. Hotel was clean and rooms were very nice. We were there for a milestone birthday and they moved our rooms so they would be connecting. Ended up getting one of the biggest rooms in the hotel overlooking downtown Delray. Awesome weekend!

I'm very surprised to see any negative reviews for the Hyatt Place in Delray Beach, Florida. I've had the occasion to stay there, occupying two rooms, one for my daughter and her friend, one room for myself. Both rooms were spotless, the staff was super friendly, the gallery breakfast was delicious and the front desk went above and beyond. I borrowed a sweater from my sister and realized I'd forgotten to return it to her, they made arrangements to make sure she got it back, they also took care of some outgoing mail for me. I did not have any issues with the A/C as someone mentioned and the room was stocked with plenty of towels, which I find some hotels can be skimpy with. I will definitely stay there again when visiting Delray. There is so much to do in that little town, shopping, great restaurants, exciting nightlife, the beach is close, the people are friendly and helpful, not at all a snobby tourist town.

Dirty Hotel! The whole hotel is dirty from the lobby to your room. The carpets, rugs, bathrooms and the personnel horrible. I cannot believe the reviews I read on this hotel with people saying this place was great. They all must be hungover from bar hopping or something as this place is so dirty and the rooms are horrible. Sheets pop off your bed every night as we had a king size bed, but guess they only have queen size sheets. The mattress was horrible like sleeping on a rock, bugs in the dresser drawers, A/C in the room do not work very hot and they have it on lock down so if you need it colder they have to come to your room to do it. We made more calls to the guest services about things that we cannot even tell you all of them. No microwaves in room so forget about bringing your leftovers to your room. I mean this is a Hyatt we have been to others in other states as well and they have been all terrific this one we were blown away on how horrible and dirty this was and the over price of a dirty hotel room… People must just go there for the location of it and because it is Pet friendly, walking distance to beach and shopping. The bar in the hotel along with the live music was the only thing even mentioning here as somewhat good. The free breakfast enough to make you sick unless you just get coffee and some toast do not bother.

Excellent place very nice people, front desk, maids, restaurants, I love this room with double curtains, excellent TV programs with premiun channels, free wife, refrigerator, and everything you need there.

Has horrible AC in rooms Hign and low is the same and it blows air about 2 ft from vent on wall and beds are about 18 ft from walls! If you like a working AC and a cool room, stay some where else. Rooms also look a little worn for being a new hotel. Hotel is 1 mile from Beach.

I would avoid this place like the plague, they billed me for a stay I never had. Once disputed, they continued to re bill me, they have made no attempts to reconcile with me. For a place in the hospitality industry they deserve negative stars.

I have nothing against gay people, yet this hotel is too gay friendly for our liking. Plenty of dining choices nearby, if you choose to stay for business. Many better choices of hotels in Boca Raton though.

This place was awesome! Staff Awesome! Room Awesome! Pool area and fitness room AWESOME! There was only one bad thing,,,,,,,,, I had to come back home but I shall return! very close to the beach my favorite part and freeway.

Worst Customer Service from the General Manager of the Hotel.! As a frequent traveler nationally and internationally, I do use many hotel brands; recently I decided to use Hyatt Hotels more often than with other hotel brands. My wife and I decided to stay one night at this hotel last week to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary and meet up with other friends flying out of the country. Unfortunately, when driving into Del Ray, we received a call and it happened to be a family emergency, so we called the hotel to advise them that most likely we would have to cancel our reservation due to this unforeseen situation. When we called the hotel the Front Desk Clerk indicated that she would need to get authorization from the general manager of the hotel. As a Frequent Hyatt Loyal member I was using my points for this night, but the position of the General Manager was that not only I would loose my points, but he would charge my Credit Card for a Night at the ongoing rate.? seriously.? with an obvious lack of compassion and understanding he flat out refused to do anything.! since I has already driven into Del Ray, I was forced to show up at the hotel to check in to avoid this arbitrary room charge penalty for cancelling the reservation and then turn around and leave the hotel to drive back home. Obviously Mr.

There are 2 Marriotts, The Seagate or Sunday House. Never ever stay at this place. Rooms dont get cleaned and the staff is of no help. They take the moneythen service stops.
