I stayed here June 2018, this was the cleanest and best hotel I've stayed in. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The views are amazing. The resturaunt attached is delicious and serves fresh seafood. I would reccomend this to anyone wanting a reasonably priced hotel near Miami beach!

Awful! This used to be an amazing place to stay. It has gone down hill in a horrible way. Broken AC, leaking shower, dirty rooms, keys that dont work. Management was very apologetic and kind but there was not much they could do to fix it.

Lovely rooms pool is big and nice, and not to forget the hotel front desk staff is amazing! They are really doing a great job! Wifi is good sometimes a bit slow. They only thing I miss is free breakfast!

I wish I could give this place 10 stars because it was amazing! Guillian helped me get settled into an amazing room with a balcony on the top floor. She was sure to accommodate my friends and I by switching us to that balcony room within a timely manner. The entire staff provides around the clock service. The location was convenient because the L bus stops is across the street taking you right to Miami Beach. Check out the bar and grill! Great food and water view.

We enjoyed our stay at Best Western on the Bay Inn! The staff is what made it so great. It was a long time dream of my husband's to take 2 of our grandsons on a deep sea fishing trip. A friend of ours that lives in FL joined us on the trip and we had 2 rooms. It was a memorable time, made even more special by the kindness of the hotel staff. The boys used the fitness center and I enjoyed the pool and sitting out on the deck at night with my husband. Very nice trip. Thank you.

The staff was Very Awesome. The Manager on the other hand was not nice at all. He Spoke to all the White Americans that came in but He did not acknowledge me Or the Hispanic lady who came in behind me. But everyone else he Smiled and said Good Morning/Afternoon. He made sure that they had everything they needed. Not once did he ask me any question as he asked the others. I even Said have a Great afternoon. He looked at me and kept texting on his phone. But when the White lady that was walking into the lobby hit the door he smiled and Said Good Morning I hope you enjoy your day. I was not pleased with him at all.

Beautiful location! I booked a last minute room here for when my mother came to visit me & I wish I could live in this spot! An easy drive to Wynwood & Miami Beach, yet secluded from the chaos of tourists. The staff were all very friendly & the room was clean & peaceful. Highly recommend this spot!

Nice place, the staff is 100% great! The food in restaurant was great! The lady’s and gentleman that worked in the breakfast cafeteria are absolutely wonderful and welcoming. The reason I gave 3 stars is because the a/c in room was broken and was absolutely miserable… we are from Idaho and with the humidity we were so uncomfortable with the broken a/c…

Amazing place we definitely go to again. Staff a really Staff great rooms are nice right on the ocean. Outside swimming areas fantastic along with the bar and restaurant connected to the hotel. More than enough parking. Easy access to the beach after a shot drive.

Hotel day staff was great, and they helped me to sort out my booking mid-stay so that I could use points for the final night. Overnight staff was rude and unpleasant. The pool and views of the ocean were fantastic. The room itself was your standard Best Western room, but the shower was awful, with absolutely no pressure behind the shower head. Location left a lot to be desired. The immediate area is okay, but the surrounding areas are very rough. It's a little too far from Miami Beach, and far from everything in Miami proper. I wasn't made aware that the breakfast wasn't free until after I'd finished eating, and $32 was way too much to pay for two people to split a small plate of bacon, sausage links, and a single omelette. I stay in a hotel for 30-40 nights per year, and never before have I been made to pay for continental breakfast. The bar was nice, especially around the patio area, but the drinks are way too expensive. Overall, it was a good experience that was brought down by some big negatives. I would probably just pay the extra money to stay in Miami Beach next time.

Very clean and comfortable hotel on the causeway in Miami. Great bay views from the restaurant and from outside our door. Stayed here the night before catching a cruise out of Miami. Enjoyed a nice dinner overlooking the water.

I went during the week and it was very quiet, rooms clean, and beds comfortable. The front desk staff was excellent and very helpful. If you are looking for a nice place to stay away from all of the hustle and bustle this is the place. I would stay again.

1. In the room you can hear not only all the visitors of the hotel walking under the windows, but every car passing through the street. No soundproofing.
2. The room is cold.
3. Instead of blankets a pile of some rags, as if in the country.
I summarize-nobody and never recommend.

A hotel will be guest Hayq pay parking that Barbaro. Ten dollars per night. Au Rest Main There is no special attention for guests there is no service to the room.

Hotel very clean staff smiling breakfast very good but expensive all the same only downside to me the location not very close to Miami crash and downtown from the taxi budget hit to plan or rent a car while knowing that in Miami all parking lots are chargeable.

Nice hotel. Room with great view and nice balcony. Very nice breakfast and friendly staff. Pool with loungers and umbrellas. Unfortunately something outside and therefore depend on bus or Uber… except you have a car. But the outlook makes this good again.

Really nice hotel in a good location. The swimming pool area has a great overlook of the bay. Lobby is very modern and clean. Our room was a little small as well as the bathroom. Overall I am very pleased with the hotel and my stay.

It only was this a great place to stay right on the ocean but we left an envelope full of cash on accident and house keeping and management found it and saved it for us! It’s so nice to know there is still honest and good people in the word. Wish I could give a higher rating! Saved our vacation.

Clean hotel and relatively new interior. Rooms with balcony have very good views. In 7 days stay there was nothing to complain about. Service was top. This was definitely not the last stay at this hotel.

Very nice getaway stay. Whether for the night, or a weekend! BAR/GRILL restaurant is excellent… right on the bay! Magnificent view if you have a bay room! Heads up, though, parking fee for hotel of $10 also applies!

Good location. Loved being on the bay. Nice 2nd floor open balcony. Had a nice private balcony as well. Room was nice. Everything has been updated. Bathroom was small but nice. Only negative keeping it from five stars is the noise. Walls must be thin or something cause I heard others plenty.

The outside looked like the picture on line. Every Thu g was very clean. Staff w as very friendly. We arrived early and the room was open so we got on early. The on site bar and was nice. I like to have restaurants on property so I don't have to go far. We enjoyed sitting out by the pool. Clean area. The rooms were clean. I liked the beds a lot and pillows. Breakfast area was good (just didn't have a free breakfast) staff was friendly as well. Check out was good. They also arranged our ride to the port. I would definitely go back again.

Great view: We had a room with a balcony at the Bayfront + great cheap parking + pool + very helpful staff + large modern rooms with TV microwave and fridge + stable Wi-Fi connection — a bit noisy — discreet but audible music from the Bayfront bar.

Hotel location is fantastic. Weather was poor whole we were there so we didn't get to use the pool or do much outdoors, but the exterior of the hotel seemed very nice. Views were beautiful. The low marks have to do with the room itself. The heater wasn't sealed so air whistled in the entire time and was annoying. The elevator was basically useless due to its speed and we only used it when we had luggage. The shower water pressure constantly changed from normal to almost nothing, and the temperature also fluctuated for the duration of the shower. The parking lot had plenty of close spaces but was regularly blocked off for unknown reasons forcing us into the overflow lot. Overall, if I needed to be in this area again, I would stay here because it wasn't an awful experience. However, I do feel like this could easily be a fantastic location with some attention to detail.

Can knock into the ton. Sleeping on the street would be worth it. Everywhere insects and that in nem hotel like best western Thank you for waking up at 2 o'clock in the morning and just around the bed everything is full of bed bugs.

Recently stayed at the Best Western On the Bay and had a great experience! The staff was wonderful! Everyone was so helpful and friendly, and genuinely cared about making our stay a good one. Alexis at the front desk was so sweet! She recommended a lot of local places and displayed fantastic guest service. The room was nice and clean and we absolutely loved the view! Would love to come back and stay again.

Best Western on the Bay and Marina was an average hotel with an above average price. The cost of $159.00 plus tax per night for an "average" room was the quote I received from the person I made the 3 day reservation with. I made the reservation thinking that wasnt to bad for a Miami hotel on the bay. Upon arrival I find out there is a charge of $10.00 per day to park, which the person who took my reservation failed to tell me! The website for this Best Western plainly states that there is a FREE breakfast but the only breakfast that was offered was $16.00 per person for little more than a continental breakfast! Needless to say my family will not be back to stay in this scam of a hotel, they apparently provide false information on their web site to lure people in so they can rip them off!

What a beautiful location. Everyone has been attentive and helpful. Having the Shuckers Restaurant on site is wonderful. The waterfront views are awesome. The coffee in the lobby was most enjoyable this morning. It would be a pleasure to come here again.

Good and cheap holiday making. Breakfast is expensive.

I got upgraded to water view room, it’s really nice. However, the downstairs night activities keeps me up late til 2am. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. Location is good, room is clean and renovated, odors in the room is another drawback. If you are not afraid of noise in the night and a little odors in the room, I’d recommend it.

Relatively cheap, nothing fancy rooms (basic) has parking but you charge $10.00 daily; The best the pool area.

Nice and clean hotel. We had a renovated room which was perfect for the money we paid. The pool and lobby areas are very nicely done, just the elevator and the layout of the hotel is not the best out there. But overall it is definitely recommended.

The pictures that are posted on line are totally deceiving to what it is actually like. The room we were in you had to walk past all the garbage and it smelled horrible. The elevator took forever when you got to the floor you needed to open the doors and you though you were going to be stuck in the elevator. The view from the balcony was nice but everything else was terrible.

Motel along the road that was renovated, quite noisy and unsafe. The poorly soundproofed rooms overlooking the bay are located above the restaurant's terrace.

We initially spent one night at the best western since then we would have moved for a few days to Orlando, and what to say? … fantastic … a view of the bay north bay … clean room. And very friendly staff … very welcoming girls at the reception especially EVA, CLAUDIA and KIM … after our short stay in Orlando we could only return to this wonderful hotel, to continue our honeymoon, and Despite the view of the room at the back of the bay, it was all the best … fantastic pool overlooking the bay, where you can admire a scary scenario … what else? … everyone, as always gentle. The rooms are clean and well-stocked … the hotel is smelly and cared for in detail … the staff is courteous as never before seen … EVA, CLAUDIA and KIM are still grateful for our second stay … you are really the top. Thanks thanks thanks … cristina and emanuele.

My impression at first was that the place was relaxing and inviting. Front desk staff was very nice and helpful. Arrived late and left early before check out time. I walked around when first woke up thinking there was going to be breakfast, only to find out there is no Continental breakfast and to get sometime to eat there, it would cost me almost 17.00 for breakfast… so wasn't happy about that. Other than the breakfast issue, the place was clean and staff seem nice. Not saying not to try this place out but be prepared to pay for food in addition to paying for the room… I must say the view was awesome tho!

I am just starting to travel a lot out of state but this hotel definitely ruined that experience. It was literally roaches everywhere including the bar and grill. These are baby roaches and large roaches I even have a picture to prove it. I had 3 women save up for this trip… I was so embrassed! I told the manager and she said "It was normal" I even called main customer service and the attendant was really nice but still could not do anything. I advised my crew to leave the item we traveled with in the car for about a week or so, the week would be to make sure we didn't carry not bed bugs but ROACHES home with us. I would never stay at this hotel again, nor would any of my people. I work in customer service and this was the bottom of it all!

Enjoyed my stay for a long weekend. It appears the hotel is under some renovations which is really no big deal I would definitely stay there again on my next trip. Friendly staff very helpful. Room was comfortable. Enjoyed eating at the restaurant also liked the pool area. Enjoyed having my morning coffee, on the patio, with a view of the Bay!

I'm just saying we found the cockroaches in the room… should be enough to understand the quality of the place. I add dirty towels and absolutely no soundproof room, with a trivial closed door separating from the next room (which should not have been seen we had booked a single room two months before). The neighbors of the room, luckily polite, spoke in a low voice and we could hear them equally.

It was a very nice hotel. Very nice view of the bay from the pool. Our room was big enough for 4 with 2 large beds. We stayed there the last night before we flew back. Breakfast OK The staff at the reception and in the breakfast room were very friendly. Pretty well placed hotel in Miami.

Very clean and nice staff but especially to the parking lot and you're close to everything.

For eight years our basic Hotel to visit Miami, very quiet place with reasonable prices. It takes about 15-20 minutes to move to Miami Beach, this means you have to have the car even if there are public transportation in the area.

Excellent location, clean, good parking, good treatment; we will return.

Pretty nice rooms, not super fancy decor or anything but it works. They have microwaves and refrigerator which is more than the other Florida hotels we stayed at! The best part about this hotel, if we are going to be honest, is the amazing breakfast they have. Eggs, Belgian waffles, juice, toast, you name it, they have it. Their breakfast was truly restaurant quality (and all you can eat! Good for teenage guys! ).

Really good hotel, The room was great! Great comfy bed! Was there with my small service dog and they were very nice, the let all the workers so they won't bother us. The staff is very friendly, Any request I had was answered in moments. Everyone speak proper English (which is not oblivious in Miami) They're very clean And no cigarettes smell is to be found anywhere. Security guard patrol all night watching the cars (I came back at 3 am and he was still walking around the parking lot) Also Great location I had to stay another week in Miami beach And I choose to stay there, it is a really good hotel!

Very comfortable hotel close to the beach and Hwy 1 which gets you to most places. The staff at the front desk were especially helpful and friendly. The room was very big as well as the bathroom. The king bed was perfect. I asked for a room for handicapped an it had all the needed conveniences except a mirror in front of the wash basin. Will definitely go back.

For Miami ratios good price-performance ratio. The situation in the North-Bay-Village right on the water is good, 20 min to South Beach. Breakfast is completely sufficient. Rooms typically American but clean.

Very pleasant and comfortable…

I am writing this review after being kept up all night by a loud air conditioner. If I had to summarize this hotel I would call it a typical $80/night motel-style venue. The staff was friendly enough but the place was obviously run-down. Nice view of the bay and the balcony was a plus. Maybe I was expecting more after paying $191/night.

Rooms very nice and big with a balcony. Breakfast room very air-conditioned. Breakfast ok but American-style, only the bare essentials.

Its clean ok service nice TV's but very few channel selection.

I checked in on 8/21/13. My king room was clean and comfortable. Only problem were the tiny sugar ants, as the front desk called them, all over the bathroom sink, around the light switch, and on microwave/fridge stand. After I complained housekeeping came and I barely saw them for the duration of my stay. Very scenic views of the ocean. Free breakfast was offered everyday although I did not indulge many guests did and seemed pleased. Housekeeping and front desk staff were friendly. Would consider staying again if rates were lower ($108 each for first 2 nights, $149 Friday night).

Disgusting sticky carpets, hair in bath tub, pubic hair on "New. " Face Towl at the sink. Very poor management, or front desk staff VERY RUDE. Ice machine did not work. Overzelous security demanding to see your ID and door key I am a Best Western rewards member and from this experience I'm concidering never going to Best Western again. I informed the front desk and was told that they would tell the management, and I have not heard from them at All. No apology or anything. Dissapointed beyond belief.

My girlfriend and I had a pretty bad experience here, which started with check in. We came very early due to our flight arriving at 6am. Instead of offering anything for us to do (as no rooms were available), we were told to go out and explore. The area is horrible and right next to the ghetto, so we were privy to dead cats on the street and people yelling at each other about drugs. We were awake for 24 hours and unshowered, and staff sprayed the lobby with air freshener right in front of us (no tact). The room was good, however. Beds were comfy and facilities were acceptable. If you plan on staying here, rent a car, and spend very little time in the area. Definitely not worth my money, and not worth yours either.

Now go several times that we stayed at the best western chain, but this time the manager of this hotel (next to another employee) we sold a trip to bahamas at 260 dollars. When we did the trip we learned talking to other people that they had paid less than half (124 dolres). Arriving at the hotel, they tell us that no one can take care of the money back since it is impossible that we have sold it there. Nobody gives us an answer. We feel most cheated, not only for the money, if not for our good faith. Will not return ever more to this chain of hotels if they do not resolve us things.

I have been going to this hotel for many years and have never been dissapointed. It is pretty clean and the rooms are decent quality. There is a spectacular view from where the pool is and the restaurant shuckers, which has great food! Great place to relax and take in the sun. I would recommend this place to everyone.
