Great experience with our grandchildren.

Had a great night stay. Friendly peoples && some of the best pillows ever. The rooms are VERY nice. This is one hotel you would wanna visit when coming to Jacksonville Florida.

When you are here, you are Better than Family! We stayed at this hotel because it was close to where I was getting my surgery done. We made reservations for 9 days, in advance and they had the best price! We needed & received a handicapped room and it was near the garage, so I never once got wet when it rained. They let us borrow their wheelchair every day & their shower chair! Everyone was SUPER Friendly and SUPER willing to help in any way they could. They asked my husband every day how I was doing and well — I could NOT have gotten better service from my own family!
The King-sized Bed was Super Comfortable! The Holiday Inn Towels were Superb! The TV was clear. The Internet was Fast! The Breakfast Items were Delicious! Knowing they had all sorts of things in their market, made it convenient. Having Coffee Available 24x7 was Great! The Atmosphere was Quiet! The Laundry Facilities were reasonably priced and convenient! The Exercise Equipment was Clean and well taken care of, other people were also being respectful & cleaning up after themselves! Oh, and I can't forget to mention that this hotel is less than a mile to the beach and Very close to some Awesome Restaurants as well…
The Front Desk Staff, Kitchen Staff, Housekeeping Staff, Everyone we encountered was ALL AWESOME!

Stayed here in June for 3 nights the staff is wonderful and extremely helpful and just talking to them they talk just like you have known them not cold like alot of Desk Clerks every employee goes out of their way to make you stay enjoyable. The Breakfast I personally was WOWED everything was fresh and plenty choices. Not stale donuts and old coffee. Our room was extremely clean as everything there! the pool was private from the public I did like it and it was well maintained. You will be very satisfied. Loved the beautiful Wall waterfall as you walk in very welcoming.
If I ever go back this will be the ONLY place I will stay. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

This is a nice hotel. It has new beds. The breakfast is good. The staff is nice and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. I would stay there again.

Do not stay here! The hotel charged us an extra $184.69. We thought they mistakenly held our debit card instead of our credit card but it wasn’t released after a few days, so we called. Once we called, we talked to the night manager Eric who was extremely rude. He asked my husband if his wife was in the back making him “be extra” when we told him that we talked to the bank and they said the hotel would have to release the funds and was completely unprofessional. He refused to help us and my husband asked when a manager would be available to help and he responded that he told us 20 times already. We told him we were going to file a complaint and asked for the name of the person that checked us out. He at first said he didn’t know and then told my husband he wasn’t going to give out names to get people in trouble. Terrible hotel! We are gold elite members at IHG and stay in approximately 30 hotels personally each year and will not be at another holiday inn. We also manage all of the travel arrangements for a transit company and mid size bank and will make sure that Holiday Inn is no longer on the approved list for travel stays. Customer Service goes a long way and I’ve never experienced something quite like I experienced tonight with this hotel. I’m so disappointed that the employees at this hotel admitted they mistakenly charged our card an extra $184.00 and then refused to help get the issue resolved.

Beautiful room with the most comfortable bed and pillows… they also let me have my dog there so pet friendliness is a huge huge advantage they have over other hotels… their dog walking area is accessible and nice … also their complementary breakfast is outstanding…

At first I thought it was going to have a serious problem after I made my reservation, the front desk person called me an hour later to tell me there was a problem with the reservation and I would be moved to a sister hotel. Once I got to the sister hotel they had no place for me either. After a few phone calls and about an hour's worth of time everything was straightened out the staff at the desk at the Jacksonville beach hotel was very apologetic and accommodating. They made up for a rocky first impression. The hotel itsself was new and clean, the beds we're comfy and the light blocking shades worked so good we actually overslept the next morning. It was great. They had a security guard patrolling the parking lot and the inside of the hotel, who was actually patrolling. At one point my partner went out to walk the dog and left the dog cracked, which I didn't know and the security officer yelled to me and told me he was shutting the door for my safety. I was glad he did that because I had no idea. Although it is a dog friendly hotel and the beaches are dog friendly it's only at certain times of the day, be careful of that because the locals are jerks about it.

I was disappointed by the location, a little further from the beach than what I had wanted, but this place is very nice. The lobby is clean, the breakfast area is a good size with great food. The rooms are absolutely huge-bathroom was huge. It was worth every penny and I'm glad we stayed at this hotel. Will stay here again because of the size and cleanliness of the place.

Nice hotel just a few minutes from the ocean. Very reasonable price for its location. The hotel has been recently updated, and there is both a pool and hot tub. As with all HI Express, you get a nice free breakfast, and they also had free cookies in the evening. And there are a number of covered parking spaces so your car dies not have to bake all day. Definitely recommend this place as it is a great value andc very comfortable.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Buyers beware! They will cancel your reservations with no reason and no notice and leave you stranded in the middle of the night. Even if reservations are made months in advance. Even if you just called 8 days ago to confirm and everything was fine. Now we're in Jacksonville with no where to stay. Everything else around is booked. Take my advice and spend your money else where.

The staff was friendly & helpful… breakfast was great. They offered turkey sausage & veggie omelettes YAAY! Less than a mile from the beach made the location great & the price cheaper… Did not give 5stars because the humidity affected the smell & feel of room.

Had a wonderful 2 night/3 day stay! VERY clean, recently updated room with a VERY comfortable bed! And I do mean comfortable! The fact that it is pet friendly is a big plus for me as well. Staff very friendly and I must say those housekeepers do a mighty fine job! Only negative review I have is that the t. V. Was NOT working properly. And would only wish for lower rates.

Nice hotel. Staff does a good job. Was there for a Super Bowl party and Ellen did an awesome job with the food and making sure all her guests were enjoying the event. Great job Ellen!

Great location. Very spacious, clean and comfy rooms. Renovations look amazing very well planned. Joey at the front desk very professional and sweet young man. I will definitely return.

Check in and check out was real simple. Staff all the way around was super friendly and courtesy. Rooms were big and clean. Will definitely return. Only disappointment was hot tub was out of order.

Excellent facility and staff. The front desk night shift clerk was very welcoming and helpful with information. Checking in went quickly and smoothly. The only problem I had was that the shower stream was much too miserly. Mattresses were really great.

This was a very good Holiday Inn experience. The room was recently renovated, very convenient fixtures/lighting and very clean. The bathroom was beautiful, with a big walk in shower. The staff were friendly and helpful and the free breakfast was good. It's very close to Jax beaches if that is where you are looking to go. It is on a strip mall, so not a place for those looking for a spectacular view.

I like the Holiday Inn Expresses, as I think they are a nice place to stay, clean, but not over priced, and you get a nice free breakfast buffet including biscuits and gravy in the morning. The staff is friendly and helpful. I will stay here again.

Clean room. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Only complaint is the foul odor in the hall. One night the odor was so strong that it started coming in our room. They are currently doing renovations, so maybe that will take care of the smell.

I was only there for one night so can't say much but I can stay something about my room. I liked the layout of the bathroom but the one in my room had a shower door that didn't close properly. The beds were a little on the hard side but besides that it was a great room.

The hotel itself is fine and most of the staff is excellent. However, the woman who checked me in was rather rude. As a Spire member, I don't really care if they acknowledge my membership… But she never said "thank you", "please" or any basic niceties we humans use for basic social graces. She was sarcastic with several people — not only me.

We have been staying at this Holiday Inn Express each time we need to go to the Mayo Clinic. It's not far to drive and if need, you can return to the room between appointments. Friendly and very helpful staff, makes this Motel a perfect place to stop and hang your hat.

This would have been a higher rating if I didn't get home and check my bank account and find out that they double charged me. We checked in on Friday April 14th as we were running in the Never Quit 5K the next morning. Upon check in the host told us to scan our credit card for the room. My husband told him he put all the info in on line and paid when we booked and the host who I believe was named Howe said they didn't charge the card at time of booking so we did as he asked and swiped our bank card. After check out the next morning I asked for a copy of my bill and she handed it to me and it was for 209.64 so all was ok. On Sunday Evening I noticed another charge after we had checked out and been given our receipt for another 209.64 +15.00. I called the front desk and spoke with a representative named Grace. She said she saw where he double charged me + a 15.00 hold for incidentals which we didn't have any other charges beside our one night room stay. She apologized and said she needed to call her manager to get an approval to credit me back the double charge. She said she would call me back in an hour or less. Of course after an hour she never called me back so I had to call her back. She then said well I just texted my manager about 30 minutes ago. I find it funny that they didn't need to call a manager to double charge me! Anyhow she then asked for my email address so she wouldn't have to call me if it got too late. It is now almost 10pm.

Rooms were really nice and clean. Cleaning staff not very friendly. Check in process went pretty good and breakfast was good compared to regular.

The hotel was adequate, good location and recently updated. Few housekeeping issues, but overall I'm satisfied. I stayed there for work.

Clean hotel in a safe area of town. Tesla destination charger is located in a covered parking deck and worked fine for our trip.

This was the nicest stay I have ever received at a hotel. The service was great, and the staff were beyond friendly. Last minute we had to bring both of our dogs and they were very accommodating even with an 11 week old puppy. Not only did they get to know our names but they also got to know our dogs names. We got the romance package, and it was beyond what I expected. As soon as we opened the door there were rose petals in our bathroom and foyer, with rose petals in our own personal spa in the room. The bottle of champagne was chilled, and the chocolate covered strawberries were extremely fresh. Our key card stopped working, because with this package we got to check out late, and they fixed it immediatly. We also needed laundry detergent and when the machine stopped working they refunded us our money without question and got us some. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Even upon checkout the new guy at the desk knew who we were before giving them our names.

From July10-13 2015 my family stayed in this hotel for our family reunion. On the last day some of us notice after we left that we had items missing from our rooms 319 and rooms on the second floor. I called management to tell him what had happen. He said that we didnt have proof that nothing was stolen from our room, s but i, m not satisfied with what he said. That is bad business. And my family will never stay their again and I advise anyone else to do the same. How can your housekeepers just go into your room and steel your stuff and get away with it and the manager don, t do anything about it. Bad business>

This place does not deserve a star. Worst customer service ever. Over charged me at check in. Then talked to me like I was a child. Still trying to get over 170.00 back that I was over charged. I travel with work to different places. Talked to my office managers and holiday inn is off the list to book for our work crews.

Room was nice and clean but the customer service was absolutely horrible. The front desk clerks were very rude and They did not have a clean room available for us at the proper check in time when we had our room booked for months. We had to leave and come back at a later time. The breakfast the offered was very little and not thoroughly cooked. The room was nice but other than that everything was horrible I will not be staying here again.

We chose this hotel because it is very close to the beach but within our price range. We chose the room with bunk beds for the kids. It was very clean and spacious. The free breakfast was good. We had dinner at the Chinese place next door and it was delicious and convenient. The staff was also very friendly, which was a nice change from the hotel we had been at the night before.

The hotel was very nice overall, my wife and I stayed in one of the suites with a jacuzzi which was really nice. Overall, the service and cleanliness of the hotel were amazing, and it is only a ten minute walk to Jacksonville Beach. I would recommend staying here for sure.

This is our second time here at this Holiday Inn Express. Love the location, close to everything. The room was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable! The staffs were wonderful! Great customer service from the front desk, courteous dining room staff, and friendly housekeeping. I would definitely recommend my family and friends to stay here.

We got over charged for staying one night in a hotel. They charged us 3 times for one night. We are on vacation and 3 days later still trying to get it refunded! Not to mention the blood stain found on the pillow and the area at night time is not good. I would def not recommend this place. Service is terrible and your room is basic.
