Review of Comfort Suites Fernandina Beach at Amelia Island 2*

I don't normally do things like this but… Let me just start by saying the front desk MANAGER is the RUDEST person and DOES NOT care at all about her paying guests. We arrived Friday and was told we couldn't have TWO parking permits, so if your traveling with two vehicles id advise to stay elsewhere. Next after enjoying the first night of our event we came into the room and lets just say the hallway was at least 10 degrees cooler then our room. So my first thought was maybe its not cooling because it was so hot, but at night we literally were sweating. So at 7am I went down stairs and addressed my concern too the front desk worker (who I didn't know was the manager at the time), I was told there maintenance man was not in yet that she would send him up too check it after 10. After our poker run I sent my fiance too check the air he still couldn't tell a difference and went to speak with the same lady. She advised shed send him up and my In-law did as well. I was eager too get my air fixed due too my 7 month old arriving Saturday evening. After we ate dinner and arriving back too the room around 10pm I would assume our air was looked at… well no. So I went back down stairs, because not one of the phones in the room were working, and spoke to a different young lady the was a 100000 times nicer and helpful. She told me that I had spoke with the manager this morning several times and assured me there maintenance man DOES NOT work weekends! Now the times that we took from our weekend too check on this there were several other people complaining of the same issue. So after not sleeping Once again ANOTHER Night, but this night with a baby I went back down stairs. After having a conversation with several different guests specially one being charged for having hair from a SERVICE ANIMAL I was to my top. We slept on the floor just to get some kind of air flow because they couldn't at least provide a fan which we seen in the lobby that afternoon drying the floors. I took the face of the unit apart too find the coils absolutely DISGUSTING. I was told she would not give me clean towels after the conversation about the air. She did nothing for us No im sorry for you issued no discount on our 500 DOLLAR STAY all I got was there is nothing I can do for you after I was threatened too have to cops called on me. I have NEVER IN MY life experience a stay like this at a comfort inn EVER. JOSIE if your reading this I HOPE your air breaks and the man never shows up too fix it!
