I'll preface with the fact that the Front Desk employees were kind, tried to help but they were hindered by their management and maintenance employees. I'm still waiting a month later for the refund I was promised to offset the cost of the second hotel room I had to rent at another property because no one was at the front desk during their posted "regular business hours" and there was no way to reach anyone to help after my key card did not work in the door to our room. Unbelievably poor customer service.

Both beds in room were broke, there are syringes all over the place trash everywhere. Rooms don’t look like they were completed when they upgraded the phone when I called the desk didn’t even work found mold and bed bug the staff is rude and disrespectful.

Do not stay here! There is no hot water. I called the front desk and they told us just let the water run. There was only 1 centralized location that the water comes out of. 30 minutes later with the water running it was still ice cold. The room smelled like it hasn't been used in a while. The microwave was filty and inside peeling away. We left after 1 night. We have stayed here in the past in 2016 and 2019. This hotel has really gone down hill!

I checked In March 3 every year and this year, I went to Tampa to visit a friend and they gave the room I paid for. Then chubby behind the counter says it wasn’t his fault. Smh. Never go back. Out 1150.00

We have loved our stay here! The staff is AWESOME — we are sad to say goodbye! Close to Disney, only half an hour away from Universal, and lots of great shopping and restaurants near by. We will happily be back!

The room was nice enough, but with 150+ rooms their breakfast area needs WAY more seating, and better access to the food. This hotel is a stone's throw from the Disneyworld Resort, so unlike other hotels in the nation almost everyone staying here is eating breakfast at the same time to get to the park's opening. The 8 tables or so inside plus the few outside are extremely inadequate to accommodate all the families and children packing in at the same time. Likewise, the insufficient access to the breakfast had lines out the restaurant and streaming into the lobby. It was a big mess and had our family tired and frustrated before ever setting foot in the parks for the day. OK rooms, but their breakfast area needs a complete overhaul! We are Florida residents and Annual passholders so we will most likely NOT stay here again. As Choice Rewards members, there are other options.

Room smelled strong of chlorine. Needs to be remodeled. Better places to stay. Breakfast area packed and you can’t take food out of area so they force you to eat in a crowded, noisy area. Outside people were smoking in the dining area.

Decent suites. Okay breakfast but it comes with the rooms so… nice and helpful staff.

The swimming pool out side was supposed to be heated but was not, same breakfast food every day, there was no bar as shown in photos, snack bar by pool was never opened, only given clean sheets for bed if you ask cleaning staff, staff rude, wont stay there again.

The grounds are well maintained and the pool area is gorgeous!

It was in a good location not even 15 minutes to Disney World. The rooms are cleaned and quiet!

Stayed for 3wks in November. Hotel room very spacious their was 6 of us and that was plenty for us to have as a base. Breakfast was good every morning to set us up for the long days. Kids had lots of fun in the pool and hot tub area. Great location for Disney parks. Only downside their is nowhere to sit and have a drink or socialise in the evenings and the pool bar was never opened. I know it was November but the hotel was busy so these basic things should be available. Would definitely stay again though thanks for a great stay.

Not the worst place I have seen. The first room we had was being air dried when we walked in, and smelled. The 2nd room just smelled of mold. They apparently remodeled the bath room, and haphazardly covered the power outlet with the new counter. There was visible mold in the bathroom, and chipped paint everywhere in the room. The beds were like bounce houses of Springs. The free breakfast only covers 2 people, in a room meant for 6. So you have to pay extra for groups over 2. The breakfast was OK. Nice part of it, was that it's all you care to eat. The Mickey Waffles are a nice touch. Biggest perks to this place, is that it's next to Walt Disney World property. As a good neighbor hotel, they have their own transportation to the parks.

Beds are old and super uncomfortable. Breakfast is beyond gross. Maids just walk into your room even if you have do not disturb out. Or they just do not come. Pool and hot tub were best part. Wall are so thin you can hear everything in adjoining rooms. Staff super rude, would not even let us get a fork 8 minutes after breakfast was over. Would not stay in this location ever again. Oh let's not forget random fliers coming through the door at all hours from local businesses.

Wonderful all the way around. We stayed the previous night at a disney resort and this place was better. No resort fee and free parking. Plus free breakfast and a microwave and fridge! We will stay here again soon!

IMO this is two star hotel/motel at best. Rooms are really dated and we found hairs in the room. Were moved to another room and found hairs again. Its really close to Disney which is nice but wouldn't stay here for more than a short night…

This is 2 time staying here 1 time wasn’t that great he Noisey AC unit that took 2 days to not fix after asking them to do it while we were at park… Checked In tonight reserves 2 rooms and 1 room
Was suppose to be handicap and on 1 floor for my 90 year old grandmother. They did not have my handicap room. SHAMEFUL… if you could not honor my request / need than you should have emailed me/ texted me that you would Not be able to accommodate the handicap room. As you text me twice about my reservation and emailed me… I’m not done with this complaint NOR will I ever stay here again!

Very impressed with this place. For the price I was expecting a lot less but the pool area was very nice, our room was big, clean and modern, and it's located in the perfect spot for a quick Disney getaway. We paid less total for three nights here than one night at one of the value Disney resorts and I'm really glad we did. Would definitely stay here again.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Friday May 18 2018 for anyone who wants an exact date. Our room is COMPLETELY infested with BED BUGS and roaches. It smells like mildew. There is unknown stains and residue everywhere. What ever you do DO NOT STAY HERE! The price for the room may be cheap but its nothing compared to having to get rid of the BED BUGS that get all over your luggage, clothes, and anything else you bring with you into this "hotel"

Great value and location compared to similarly priced hotels. The rooms were clean and spacious with basic amenities such as a refrigerator and television. Breakfast is slightly better than average compared to similar hotels. The breakfast includes items such as eggs, tortillas, tater tots, Mickey waffles, and biscuits. A pool and bar are in the area but I didn't use those during my stay. It is around a five minute drive to the Disney Parks from the hotel. Overall I would recommend this hotel for those wanting to spend within this price range.

I would give them less stars if possible. Booked a room for a long getaway in Orlando through a reputable 3rd party company. The refused the confirmed reseravation upon arrival without a reason. Lobby was filthy, I can only imagine what the rooms would be like! The fact that I am relocating to a better hotel is ok with me but the way I was treated by the staff was not.

Location is awesome. It's near Disney and you can walk to several restaurants. The rooms are clean and staff has been helpful.

Nothing special, it is just not far from Disney World as well as Universal.

Front desk said there were no pool view rooms available when 3/4were available during our 9 night stay. We weren't giving the option to pay. Sent an email to management never received a reply, its been over a week. Housekeeping don't understand English. Only one light near the hot tub was working. Will stay elsewhere next time.

My family and I stayed here for a day and half. They let us check in early which was awesome, we did pay extra but the price was very reasonable since we checked in 6 hours early. The pool and hot tub are nice but the pool was very cold in March. My kids don't care but I was freezing. The hotel is off from a main busy road close to restaurants and grocery stores. My only real complaint is our room. The room had a strong musty odor. I'm pretty sure it's because we were on the bottom floor. Our toilet stopped working and my husband fixed it. If we were staying longer for a week at Disney World, I would have asked for a new room. The breakfast was huge with many choices.

Nice, large, clean rooms. Large pool with separate hot tub, sunbathing area and pool side bar, friendly staff and very well priced, great location for Disney, especially if your going to Animal Kingdom. Large breakfast included. Highly recommended!

Hotel staff and service were very good for what this hotel is. Me room was definitely in need of an overhaul. It looks like the hotel is working on getting improvements made. Other rooms were nice and have been remodeled. I would give it 4 starts is the room were nicer.

This is a nice hotel. The only thing I would say is they need to enlarge the breakfast area on the inside. But the breakfast is great and they staff I came in contact with were nice. Very clean hotel. Love the pool and hot tub;-). Lots of stuff within walking distance.

The premises were maintained with decent amenities. The staff have attitudes and one was hostile and confrontational. The shuttles do not go directly to Disney Parks, it’s a 45 minute shuttle to centralized location and 2 train rides to park. BEWARE of additional hidden service fees charged to your card a week after settling the bill at check out!

The bad… room with low lighting, presence of cheap small, smell of humidity. The breakfast was very nice. Shuttle service to the parks is not exclusive to the hotel what good… excellent swimming pool, open until 23 hrs. Supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants and gift shops near the hotel. Located just minutes from all the parks.

It's a simple but nice hotel. I arrived very late at night and tired and the person who attended me did not speak Spanish, at that time it was a little frustrating but the other day they all spoke Spanish. The rest is highly recommended.

Stayed for about 4 nights. Good customer service. Had issues with our original room as the door would not open up and was resolved by front desk in less than 15 minutes. Only complaint is shuttle company. Granted, a different company handles that service, but they have really bad communication with the hotel. Almost lose our ride back from Magic Kingdom because Hotel had told us and time and place and the shuttle company told us another. A few dining options around. If you are a little more practical, could also buy some food to keep at the room and eat there. Breakfast is usually the same, no real variety there but it is included with the stay. Overall a good experience for the cost.

The hotel is good in general. Breakfast is pretty full. The attention of some employees is not at all friendly.

My husband and I took a trip to Disney for my birthday and so we chose to stay off site at the Clarion. For customer service they did a phenomenal job but I had to rate lower because we got in later and so our room was given away. We originally had a king bed and had to get bumped down to a double. We were not in the room much so we made it work. The person at the front desk was reasonable and again that's the only reason that I am giving three stars. The next night we got in very late from the park and our card didn't work anymore so we had to get a new card so that was a little frustrating but not sure it was anyone's fault. Beds were a little stiff but overall it was clean and gave us a place to sleep after a long day. Does have a blow dryer in there in case you don't want to pack one so that was convenient.

Very good service, ideal location for those who go Disney parks, close to all the shopping outlets.

How Argentine hummm… Only coffee and bread type Fargo… A disaster attention. … When not missing fork missing cup missing spoon… A mound of dirty dishes without removing… They claim you when you occupy places to have breakfast the dining room is small and there is no order (I was in a hotel in Brazil in a small dining room and go order and variety of food… I tell what I see.

The real employees were wonderful and we were accommodated and helped with several things. The breakfast included was 3.8/5 and employees 5/5 and very convenient (near the parks). I give you 2/5 for several cockroaches and room quality.

Clean and well run hotel. Inexpensive for the quality of the stay which includes a nice breakfast! A surprisingly large pool, hot tub and small children's waterfall are great in warm weather. Close proximity to Disney is a huge plus!

This hotel has a lot of the little things taken care of that you rarely think about. Night light in the bathroom, plenty of power outlets by the bed, good reasonably priced food. The Cabana stays open until 10:30 and is quite the hangout. The breakfast in the morning is surprisingly good and not one of those coffee and banana breakfasts. You get the good sausages too, not the nasty ones!

Very clean room. Bed was firm and not all sunken in. The included breakfast was much nicer than a typical continental breakfast. Only small complaint was the rooms were not as sound proof as I would have liked. There was a number of high school sports teams staying at the hotel the same night as my family and we definitely could hear more conversation than I would have liked to hear through the door.

I actually got a really good deal on our room. So with that in mind it was within that quality, but I did see what the normal rates would have been and if I would have paid the normal/higher rates I would have been a little bit upset. The breakfast was great for being buffet, but it was hot and a good variety. The location is awesome for both Disney and universal parks. We stayed 8 nights and reported a maintenance issue (shower ran/heavy drip/wouldn't turn off) the day after we checked in. They sent maintenance right away and the issue was fixed until we used the shower again. We decided not to report it again. Beds were very comfy, but the shower had low pressure and temperature issues. Overall I would stay again as long as I got a better rate.

Decent place with usual amenities. Free breakfast in the morning and an open pool with jetted spa. Rooms are decent although they now use smaller pillows so that was a bit weird. Had an issue with our door handle that was never fully resolved and a dripping tub faucet which we reported so hopefully the next guess will be better off. For the cheap rate it was still worth it.

Check in at 4 pm, we arrived at 4:30 and didn't get into our room until nearly 6pm because it wasn't ready. Room was basic. Bed was comfortable. Blanket had pee stains. They had minor repairs that hadn't been fixed, like the sheetrock next to the toilet paper holder left unpainted. The refrigerator leg was missing, so it wobbled every time we opened it. Air conditioning unit didn't work great, had trouble cooling down the room. Overall, the grounds were well kept and the staff was generally friendly. Shuttle service, Platinum, that the hotel contracts for the parks sucks. Not on time, don't go to the park listed, our driver switched at the last minute for no reason, it's like the hunger games to get a seat coming back, otherwise you're stuck standing, hanging onto the ceiling or walls for dear life. I wouldn't stay here again. The shuttle service was a huge turn off and $10 "resort fee" in addition to your room rate was a huge turn off. If you're going to Disney, pay a little more and stay on site. 1000x better.

Failed to tell online site to stop orders in time for sale. When I arrived at 1am didn't care. Didn't try to help. Didn't offer anything. 10hr drive was saved by Red Lion Suites 3 minutes away. Red Lion was great. Definitely recommend.

Great option to stay near Disney Parks. The hotel itself it's just average but as plus has a shuttle to the parks and to Universal, also it has free breakfast for 2 persons per room. I'd recommend this hotel for someone that's going spend it's day on the parks and wants a place to sleep.

Decent parking and price. Got two rooms, one smelled absolutely awful. Breakfast was pretty bad considering the resort fee of $10 a room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Keep in mind this was right after Hurricane Irma with many guests at the hotel with pets since the power was out all over town. Might not be the best judge given the circumstances.

I checked in on Thursday July 27 and I've called the front desk 4 times already. The air conditioner throws out hot air. We're all asthmatic and with this hot air we are all sick. The water from the bath tub gets super hot when taking a bath. My baby got burned twice with the water. Maintenance came for the ac and said it's working. If it was working we wouldn't wake up drenched from sweat. I wouldn't book this hotel again. And housekeeping sucks. My baby spilled soda on the bed and instead of them changing the sheets the y just made the bed. When I called front desk they said they will send sheets so I can change the sheets. Maintenance came to fix the hot water they put a new handle then they tell me the trick is when the water gets hot just leave it and wait the cold water will come out again. So I should just let my kids stay in the shower to get burned until the cold water decides to come back on. I went to the front desk and she told she can't do anything because the manager isn't in until Monday. So we have to continue suffering with this heat until Monday. I wouldn't even give this hotel 1 star.

Great stay. Clean rooms. Excellent breakfast buffet. The pool and jacuzzi were fun. The staff was very helpful. The proximity to Disney is choice. It's also away from the main traffic. Recommended.

It is not a new place but it is nice. Our room and the grounds were very clean, staff was super nice. They have a little pool bar in the evening with cheap drinks for happy hour. The breakfast buffet is pretty decent although there was a long line to get the food and the serving room was quite warm. All in all, I'd definitely stay here again.

I'm staying here now. The hotel staff gave away the type of room that I paid for and when Ashley at the front desk checked me in she lied and said that the reservation came in as a king room. Even though my reservation clearly said two queens. Then she finally fessed up that the hotel had given away all of the room types that I paid for so that my 10 year old would either to be uncomfortable sleeping on a pull out sofa or have to share a bed with his mother which he shouldn't have to. She then refused to even try to find a solution. She didn't try to call any hotels in the area that could accommodate us or come up with any option. She just kept telling me no and that she had given me a room and that maybe there would be something else tomorrow. She was completely rude to me and everyone that called on the phone and then refused to give me any kind of identifying information like an employee number. Only her first name. She did however tell me that she was off work in 5 minutes and maybe the next person could help me.

The hotel was OK, the room was lovely and pool was great, breakfast was alright as u would expect for buffet. However we stayed in September for 3 weeks, the pool bar was only open on occasions (when it was the bar man was great and lovely service? no restaurant available onsite as advertised, transfer to parks not that great with transfers from seaworld leaving us standing and waiting in dark for 2 hours after park closes! Sheets were not changed frequently. Such a shame. Wouldn't stay here again but if ur not bothered about access to parks and onsite pool bar n stuff it's a nice hotel.

We love staying here! It is very clean and comfortable. The pool is very large and also has a handicap lift so everyone can enjoy the pool. Very nice hotel and great value for money. Staying here for 10 nights. 3 nights in and could not be happier… pool area nice and clean and great location for Disney… restaurants close by if you want to have a beer or two in the evening. Rooms very clean with all the bits you need… safe fridge freezer microwave iron hairdryer etc. Would thoroughly recomend.

Very good hotel with what is right and necessary, very quiet, good that it is close to all the Disney parks. With many shops around, staff friendly but few speak English. The breakfast is very american, and repeated. Would go back anyway. The rooms very cosy. What I recommend.

Good Morning! My family stayed at Clarion Suites Maingate at Kissimmee, USA from March 20 to March 24, 2016. The place is near Disneyworld and Universal. Free breakfast, free parking, free Wi-Fi Purchasing of Tickets for Disneyworld and Universal thru this hotel were of great help to us. People were all nice and accomodating, We highly recommend Clarion Suites Maingate. GOD Bless your hotel.

The rooms are great. Nice cable and has a couch. The staff is also great and the breakfast is the best. The best part is the pool area because it has a big pool, hot tub, kid area, and a place to sit and eat.

In one word: BEDBUGS! We got the totally infested room on ground floor, but discovered that 6 nights later only (because of lack of previous experience), when we were half-eaten alive. Totally ruined Disney vacation, couldn't sleep and walk because of awful itching and pain, wearing long sleeves and pants in Florida' heat. Hotel, that pretending to be good and family-friendly, and asking for almost $200/night, needs to spend more for staff training and bedbugs preventing.

Yes, I must say it was better than I expected. The room was able to accompany 2 adults and 4 small kids. A lot of restaurants in the area along with Disney souvenir stores, target, dollar tree and Ross. They do not have Free continental breakfast however they do give you two free breakfast passes Can Not take food out of breakfast area, all other parties must pay $4.99 per person or $10 per group for that day ;I think… (Ask about it, its something like that). Be very mindful there are several of the same restaurants so when you order to go food ask them where exactly they are located (like landmarks) … We ordered pizza hut, crackel barrel and red lobster all with addresses close to the hotel and when we arrive to get the order… it wasn't that restaurant. (It was the one a block down the road). Hotel is clean, pool is nice especially for the kids, customer service was friendly and you can buy Disney tickets at hotel. Enjoy!

The location is great because you have a grocery store and restaurants around you. It is peaceful here. The rooms are good and spacious as well as the bathroom. Room service is good, I had Dilia as my room keeper and she's just awesome! Overall, the service is great and the rooms are CLEAN.

Room was ok for the price. Beware though the price you agree to upon check — in is not the price charged to your credit card at the end. My bill was 30.00 higher. When questioned I was told it was a resort fee. I was handed 2 cards with the numbers of the manager and asst manager to call and complain. My transportation to the airport was on the way so I could not stay and contest anything. This is not a resort. There are no restaurants on site or gyms or spas. I did not have a car to park. I needed transportation to the airport day of departure but I had to find and secure my own. The only thing I used according to the resort fee was the breakfast which was supposed to be free. I was the only one staying here. I guess if they are charging you 10.00 a day for it it isn't free. Definitely not worth $10.00. Biscuits were rock hard and everything else was cold. They are not up front about this charge. The Staff I encountered was not very friendly from the onset. The only friendly person I met there was the bartender at the outside cabana bar. The maid did not even empty the old ice water from the ice bucket. I got back to the room picked up the bucket to get ice and the old stale water was still in there. I Would not recommend staying here. I would not stay here again.

The room was clean, air conditioning was cold and the pool area was pretty. Tons of food options within a mile of hotel. Free hot breakfast was nice to wake up to, I recommend getting there early though. Our eggs and potatoes were dried out. My only big complaint was the shuttle service to the parks. Before reserving our room, I called and was told they offered free shuttle service to all the parks. Upon arrival, I learned they have a weird schedule that makes it hard to get around, I felt like we were mislead to believe it was a revolving shuttle. We spent more time waiting for the shuttle, taking buses/monorails, etc than actual time in the parks.

Great value. Room was clean and had plenty of space for 4 people. Staff very nice. Has a main pool, small kiddie pool, and hot tub all with full service cabana. Perfect location for a variety of restaurants, target, Walgreens, and grocery store. I read several bad reviews about this hotel and the buffet, so here's my review! We were very pleased with the hotel, the buffet is your typical hotel food. Your room gets you 2 free meals but anyone after that is $10. A little pricey for hotel food but the food is not half bad. Mickey Mouse waffles, individual packets of honey, peanut butter, cream cheese, and of course butter and syrup. We will definitely stay here again!

Horrible place to stay! Room stinks like feet and old dirty wet moldy towel. We had to move rooms twice… 1st room's shower made a loud sound and the carpet was very dirty… 2nd room had a leak in the air conditioning and the carpet was wet and smelled like mold. Breakfast was disgusting and lady taking care of the breakfast area was very rude… she told us not to put too much food on our plate and followed me around making sure I didn't. We had crumbs in our bedding. I got a rash and woke up with bites on my arms. When we left the smell of the room stayed on our pillows and blankets! It was gross! Never again will we stay there and I don't recommend this place to anyone!

Arrived at 4 am was given our booked room but clerk failed to tell us he was placing us around a large uncontrolled, poorly supervised group of kids, one of them told me when I went outside to see what all the noise was at 6:30 am they were from something called the science academy. Total lack of respect and no control from the Hotel. Fail.

The room was decent enough for what we paid, and on that note the place was fine and would have warranted a neutral 3 stars. But in the morning, we went to have breakfast at the hotel's touted "restaurant". Don't be misled, it isn't a restaurant. It's a low quality complimentary breakfast, except it is not complimentary. We did get two "passes", which was okay because only two of us were going to eat the garbage. But a VERY impolite girl at the front desk made me pay ten dollars for our third guest who didn't want to eat it anyway. Disgusting food.

Great value hotel with very friendly staff and free breakfast. Visited in August and this hotel is perfect for students/young people in general. The staff is very friendly and cooperative the rooms are quiet and clean and also quite spacious. Best thing is that you even have a microwave and a fridge. The shuttle service is good if you want to visit Disney parks and a supermarket and several chain restaurants are nearby. Overall a great experience.

We stayed at this Hotel for four nights and were very pleased with the location to shopping and Disney. Also we had made a mistake when making our reservation and the people at the front desk were so nice and were able to give us the correct dates and also give us the same rate, Mike was very helpful for this. Also the pool area was resort style for a lot less money. We have 3 teenage children and the size of the room was great, we spent most of our time in the parks so it was much better for us to stay at a non Disney hotel. Would stay again.

We definitely come back for another vacation the room is clean the pool is great! The price is good for the location. It is located at the center of tourist people. A lot of restaurants around which is very convenient. Very close to Disney world.

Air conditioner doesn't work well, bathroom vent doesn't work, toilet doesn't flush right, very noisy between rooms, breakfast Buffett way over rated, watered down everything and there's a guy in a booth that gives you your parking pass and tries to set you up with tickets to a Disney park of your choice if you do a 90 minuet breakfast presentation for $100. DONT DO IT! They kept us there for 3 hours and made us late for an appointment. They didn't care just wanted to sell us a $49, 000 time share.
