My husband and I just got back from our visit at the Creekside Inn and we loved it there. We had a creekside room and were so happy to be able to open the doors and sit waterside. The rooms are beautiful and have everything you need! We will definitely be back!

Absolutely adorable! It has that Keys charm. Spacious, clean rooms with beautiful views. You can fish from the dock or just sit and watch the boats! Great parking our family will be back!

Booked over 6 months ago and requested 2 joined rooms; they say sure we'll put a note on your reservations. We check in and they begin BS-ing us. Rude attitude @ the front desk. 1 handicap parking space, we park. Then some jackwad parks directly behind us so, we have a difficult time, every time, pulling in & out. Right in the view of the front desk person, they do absolutely nothing. Worst place to stay, cheapest place to stay in the entire keys. 1 room is larger than the next room & they're both a king size bed. That was crappy. Uncomfortable rockhard chairs, that forced us to borrow patio chairs from the cafe next door. It sits on a canal, not any view of the ocean. Check out Google Maps before booking.

Lack of information regarding restaurants and near by bars.

Amazing location, rooms are quaint and more than cozy. Close to many attractions and restaurants like robbies and marker 88. And the best breakfast spot ever right next door on the canal, that gives way to many opportunities to see wildlife such as iguanas, manatees, fish of all species and many of the most beautiful birds in the area. Do yourself a favor and visit. Also go see Tim ward at the paddle shop also located next door and rent kayaks, or take a stand up paddle through the mangroves!

Very large rooms, and super clean and fresh. Quiet and restful, and our room on the dock was so peaceful. I would love to stay here again!

Great place for a weekend getaway!

NEVER BOOK AT CREEKSIDE INN ISLAMORADA! Pretty ticked off right now. It is amazing how greedy and heartless hotels that are not in the path of a potential devastating hurricane can be and get away with it.
Creekside Inn Islamorada I would NOT recommend and honestly think they should be shutdown!
We had booked a 4 night non-refundable vacation at the hotel for this weekend. I didn't worry about booking it as non-refundable as pretty much nothing was going to to make us cancel and not go. Well except for a massive hurricane which you would think a hotel that has been through utter devastation would be sympathetic about. NOT THIS HOTEL APPARENTLY!
I contacted Creekside Inn and spoke to the manager Jessica and explained the situation that a devastating hurricane was headed towards my house And that Mike had mandatory storm duty so we could not make our vacation as we needed to protect our home and family… Without a bit of sympathy she just says sorry to hear and she could not refund my money or give a rain check since the hotel itself was not in the hurricane's path. She then tried to say the non-refundable policy was by Hotels. Com that we booked through and only they could refund my money.
So I called Hotels. Com who said yes they would be the ones to give a refund and completely undertood my need to cancel and had no problem issuing a refund with the hotel managers approval. Obviously right this moment I knew where this was going.

Exceptional service, considerate staff, terrific room and location! Great value, highly recommend!

Located right in front of the only road access of the Keys; very very noisy. Stay away! There’s always trafic, trucks, motocycle passing right in front of your room door! Room smells humidity (a lot! ). Don’t look too much or you will see how it’s cheaply (and not so much! ) renovated! Bad customer service; there’s no responsible on site; still waiting for a come back from the manager… 4 days later! … Avoid problems and go somewhere else. You will lose your money even if you’re not satisfied. And not staying! Pay a bit more and go somewhere else.

Small, cozy feel, clean, basic amenities and docks on a canal close to the inlet at Tavernier.

We stayed here August 2017 and we were extremely happy. Place was clean, easy to find and room was spacious. We will definitely recommend and book here on our next trip.

We stayed here a night in July 2018 and loved to it. Room was a nice size and clean. Beds comfortable and refreshing. A/C was ice COLD!

Rooms are nice and clean. Place to dock your boat in a calm deep canal. Seems to be getting a dirty crowd. No staff really walking around cleaning up or telling the crowd to clean up after themselves. Thats disappointing. We have stayed here a few times and like the place just not the way they let the people staying there just throw their garbage around. Also we usually arrive by boat. This last time even though when booking directly we told them we needed a dock for our size boat, when we arrived they said docking is first come first serve. Make sure you stress when booking that you will need a dock.

My husband and I booked a vacation at Creekside Inn at Islamorada. We were very excited we go every year. We booked the trip through a 3rd party and it was non-refundable which was fine we didn't plan on canceling. My husband went to the doctor and now has to have emergency surgery on his heart. I called the 3rd party to see if I could cancel and explained the problem, they were more then willing to work with me as for as canceling because of the situation but they could not get a hold of the hotel. I called the 3rd party to see what was going on but they could not get them on the phone so they asked me to call. When I called and explained the problem they were not willing to help me in any way. They would not change the dates or refund me the money. All they were willing to do was give me a 30% discount on my next stay. My husband now has medical bills due to this surgery and I really can't afford this added expense.

Back two years later and it's better than ever. Get a canal room for a romantic getaway or a fishing trip with your boat… Lots of food nearby and steps from the Mar Bar. 2 diving outfits. It's really a magical stay…

A little confusing to find the north building. Make sure you call ahead if you check in after 8PM Because they have to leave the key and room open there’s no night staff. I called and got great service. No breakfast or ice so come prepared. But very clean and staff was very nice. Ask for extra towels before you come after hours if you need them. Very good rates. People who complained about coming after hurricane Irma aren’t accurate because it’s nothing like that. Common sense says don’t come to a place that just had a major hurricane. Any complaints I had have easy fixes and most of them you can handle by simply calling the inn. Great for the price. There is a bar attached and there is a deck to sit on and look at the canal that is clean and nice.

Very accomodating staff. Great location and Made 2 Order is an excellent bonus. Neighbors were kind of noisy but you can't fault the Inn for that. If you're a fisherman this is the place for you.

Honestly can't see why anyone can leave this place a negative review. We had rooms 9 and 10. Both large clean rooms with 2 double beds in each. Nice bathrooms, air con and even a fridge freezer in each room too. Both our rooms faced out onto the canal. Fantastic views and lots of wildlife to watch too. We ended up sitting out at night on the wooden chairs provided and just chilled watching boats and random local animals pass by. This has been my favourite place to stay during my trip so far.

There's a reason this was the only place with rooms available. Should have taken that as a red flag. Knowing what I know now, I would have paid more for a different hotel or slept in my car. Even with the privacy sign on the door, the front desk called me in the middle of the day to ask whether we wanted the room serviced! I called back within six minutes and left a voicemail to confirm the sign says 'Privacy' and that is indeed what I want. I also called to follow up a few minutes later, and spoke with front desk to confirm verbally. When I got back to my room a few hours later, things had clearly been removed! Called the front desk and they said housekeeping must have been in there while we were playing phone tag. Except phone tag took six minutes and the room wasn't serviced. Whoever it was that entered and didn't leave a note to acknowledge any emergency or reason for entering, just took stuff! Front desk tried to blame housekeeping. Nice. This hotel does NOT respect privacy or safety. At least two people, front desk and the manager, Darlene, are completely comfortable with lying and dodging any reasonable acknowledgement of wrongdoing. Plus, poor housekeeping is clearly their scapegoat, even when they have been caught in a lie, in person, face-to-face!

My wife and I stayed here after getting notification from my chase services that we could use our points for the stay. After reading the reviews on some of these I have to wonder what some people expect? We stayed in room 26 over looking the water with a balcony. The room was clean and neat with fresh linens and a cold AC! The balcony was great for watching the sunrise and sunsets while enjoying coffee or an afternoon cocktail. We also liked the ability to walk to several restaurants. We are planning a return trip with our boat! If you are looking for a budget friendly stay with clean rooms this is the place for you!

We had a really good experience. I wasn't aware of some of the bad reviews when I booked the room. Just now I saw them when I came to leave this review. They were training a new front desk girl when we arrived l, maybe that's why? They were pleasant and chexk in / out was smooth and quick. My wife and I had a great time. Overall the rooms were good size, very clean and we didnt see any type of insect at all. We had room 136 on the creekside. The creekside is the only side I would stay on because its a super nice view and great to be on the water. Your door is literally on the cement dock overlooking the waterway with boats ext. If you choose the basic room on the front of the hotel it will be on the road. You prib will hear the road noise. But its great on the side were on. The only drawback or plus depending on what you want, for our room # I would say is the fact that there's a cool little tiki bar about 50 feet away so you can hear the small crowd at night but they close early so no big deal. If you want to avoid that, pick a room slightly down from 136… 138 and up will put you in a more private/quiet room. Great little in on the water. We loves it and would highly recommend.

Awesome location. Good pricing. Very quiet even with house being built across canal. I will be back to this place. It will be our new go to!

Very nice and large rooms. Nice location. Only complaint is there was not very many towels in the room. There was only 4 towels in the room.

Not the hotel as pictured on line. Probably clean enough, but things just didn't work… Doors were difficult to either open or latch closed, windows didn't open and close properly, blinds had broken strings, the shower head was half clogged and so on. What made it worse was there is no full time staff, and only one of the part time staff speak English, so communication was terrible. The phone goes unanswered when trying to get help and there is no feeling of anyone caring what your needs are. It was not inexpensive at nearly $200 a night, and not worth even half of it. Spend a little more if you need to, but stay somewhere else that actually functions like a hotel.

King deluxe room with water view of creek was a great value. Bed is comfortable, the shower was beautiful and large. The Made 2 Order diner for breakfast couldn’t be any better or closer. Nice casual bar next door. Maid service great. It was a little bit of a drive to Robbie’s Marina and Theater of the Sea, but couldn’t beat the price.

I would recommend getting the creek view rooms in the back cuz the courtyard view mostly just faces the main road. Overall the hotel was clean but I think they could do better when it comes to Security. The doors are a little bit old and don't seem very secure.

Clean Hotel along a navigation channel, clean rooms and precise service. Maybe a little more care and maintenance would make the hotel more appealing.

We were just one night here we liked it, had a very nice clean room right on the canal.

We recently had a wedding in Islamorada and due to hurricane Irma, our initial lodging could no longer accommodate us. We found a place that had rooms available for most of our wedding guests and I am so happy that we stayed at Creekside Inn. The staff is absolutely amazing, they set the bar extremely high for customer service. They would leave little gifts for us each day, ranging from paper decorations to towel origami and champagne! But the one thing that we will never forget is the hard work that Valeria put in for our rehearsal dinner. We could not find a place that could accommodate us and Valeria helped us secure a location and coordinated with the caterers, Habanos, and made the place look STUNNING. I would highly recommend this location for wedding parties and especially the rehearsal dinner! We had it on a secluded section of the creek and it was just so private and beautiful. Valeria is amazing and I don't know what we would have done without her. Thank you for everything!

I recently had my wedding in Islamorada this past weekend. Our original hotel was 4 feet under water. We needed to find a hotel to accommodate 8 rooms in a pinch. I found Creekside Inn online and instantly inquired. I was pleased to speak with Valeria, one of the managers. She booked all 8 rooms in an hour. She saved our wedding. Upon checking in, we were greeted by Darlene. She was amazing. She is the most wonderful young lady. She made sure all of my guests were well taken care of. She went the extra mile. Even when rain was predicted for the wedding day, she comforted me with positivity and gave me hope. I truly believe that she played a big role on my wedding weekend being a success. The weather was amazing and we were able To enjoy the property. We had a BBQ in Their BBQ area, sat outside marina side at night and looked at the stars, enjoyed the pools, my favorite was the waterfall pool by the lobby. And the best part was the resturant, Maid to Order. It's in between the 2 buildings of the hotel. We met every morning for breakfast. How convienent is that. The towels were always replenished, rooms were a great size. And clean and modern. This place was perfect for my family and we are so grateful for finding it online. Thanks Creekside Inn for making our wedding weekend extra special.

We left an hour after checking in and were refused a refund. Poor service, disgusting room (filth and bugs) just as showcased in the Travel Channel show "Hotel Impossible" season 4 episode 2. Wish I had known before making the last minute booking. Here is the synopsis.
"Anthony's in the Florida Keys, fishing capital of the world, but the waterfront Creekside Inn is sinking. After the owner/GM mistreats an undercover guest, Anthony tries to set them on course to fix the horrible customer service. "

The Creakside inn features amenities such as filth, bugs, poor service and a creeping sense you will be the victim of a robbery, or worse. My husband and I had to leave, it was a question of health and safety. It appears many of the positive reviews are from friends, family and paid reviewers.

Just awful. From the service to the disgusting room. Waited 35 mins for room checkin, only to find out they left room unlocked with key inside. So, info we could have used earlier when we called before arrival. We left one hour after checking in and went to Marriott 5 miles down the road. Will try to get a refund. Just truly disgusting. Do not be fooled by very crafty pics. Great photographer.

Poor service. Dirty. Just plain gross. Called at 8, said we would arrive at 9. Arrived at 9 no one returned our call to checkin until 9:35. Then told me the room number and said door was unlocked, info I could have been given at 8. Room was dirty; hair, bugs. We left. Will argue the bill later.

Bait and switch on Labor Day weekend! We booked this hotel for one night several weeks in advance. The day we arrived we were told that our reservation had been cancelled! They claimed they had tried to contact us, but we never received a phone call or email. When we asked if any rooms were still available, we were told there were rooms available, but for a much higher price than our reservation price. This is bait and switch!

Our stay at Creekside Inn has been one of the worst vacation experiences of my life! We drove 7 hours to visit the Keys to celebrate my friends 30th birthday and had an issue with a booking that left us looking for a place to stay last minute for around the same price as our other booking and explained to the Creekside Inn staff member the experience we already had. We checked in for a 3 night stay and paid upfront for our room. On the 3rd day of our trip we got a phone call at noon after we had driven an hour away to visit Sombrero Beach and told we were supposed to have been out of our room that morning, when we had another night left for our 3 night stay. We explained this to the Creekside Inn staff member and he said we checked in Thursday, August 16th for 3 nights so we should be checked out August 19th… August 16th was on a Wednesday and we were not even in the Keys on Wednesday, August 16th… we arrived on THURSDAY AUGUST, 17 and booked our room Thursday, August 17 until Sunday, August 20th… and PAID! If your hotel staff member that made our reservation messed up, you do not take it out on your customer. The staff member then said he would get to the bottom of it and came back and said the exact same thing again and tried arguing with us that August 16th was a Thursday. Then we were told we could not speak to a manager or owner, that they're not on site and we needed to email them first and then would hear back from them.

LISTEN TO THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS AND DO NOT STAY HERE! I can't stress this enough — Creekside Inn has the WORST customer service I have ever encountered from a business establishment in my entire life. We contacted the Inn to get a quote for a three night stay. When we arrived for check-in, we confirmed with the person at the front desk that it was for a three night stay and paid the nonrefundable rate up front. I received a call on Saturday morning (only two nights in to our three night stay) explaining that I failed to check-out by 11am. I explained that their employee made a mistake — I paid for a three night stay. They absolutely refused to listen to me, were extremely rude, and then told me they were going to charge me $286 for an additional night! They didn't even offer a discounted rate considering it was their employee's fault for making our reservation for two nights and not three, and even implied I was lying and she was telling the truth. I was out relaxing with my family and enjoying my vacation, and this took up a huge portion of my time and ruined the entire day. We had to drive back, check-out, and find a different accommodation at the last minute. Let me be clear — this hotel is absolutely NOT worth $286/night, not even $100/night! You hear traffic noise all night, it smells like rotting fish, and there are NO amenities. Do yourselves a favor and do NOT make the mistake we made. Book at another hotel that offers much more for the same price.

Excellent little place, very clean & great staff.

Overall the hotel is fine. Our room was VERY small. It fit a king size bed with walking room around the sides. We were able to squeeze in a blow up mattress and pack n play through some miracle but there was a lot of climbing across furniture to get around. But it met our needs. It was clean, quiet, no complaints. It's cool that every room backs up on to the canal. Our room had nice chairs outside to sit by it. For one night, it was great.

Great hotel, can park your boat 16 ft away from your from, very nice atmospere. Would get 5 stars if they had a fish freezer.

Great little place to relax and lay your head after a busy day in the Floroda Keys! The pool is generally empty (which is great)!

Cool little place. Very convenient and inexpensive. Rooms are very nice and maintained. Property has a nice island feel with a short walk down the seawall to restaurants, shops and paddleboard rentals. My only complaints were the minimal shower water pressure and the 200 dollar lost key fee, but all and all I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that wants a really nice place to stay without paying resort costs. I will be back.

Wife and I have stayed from key largo to key west in the past 30 years. Booked a room at the last minute and had reservation of staying at a new place that we haven't heard anything about. Pleasant surprise. Rooms very clean, best staff ever. Priced right, not the best view from the room but not bad. Only bad thing I could say is I wish I could of stayed longer. I don't write many views on my experience good or bad but I'm telling everyone, I think if you ever stay here you will agree with me. Next time going to the keys I will book with Creekside Inn.

You get what you pay for I guess, but this broom-closet-converted-to-motel-room was one of the worst on my trip. Smallest hotel room I've ever seen; barely enough space for the double bed in the room. Bathroom door couldn't even be opened all the way as it hit the toilet. Reasonably clean room, but horrible smell coming from air conditioner. Wireless internet unusable.

Do not stay here. You have been warned. Go any where else. This is the most non customer focused hotel/inn possibly in all of islamorada. I only gave it a one star because zero was not an option. Safe travels.

Do not recommend this hotel since it has no beaches and rooms have a humidity smell very strong, when you realize the reservation was through an agency which shows that have beach that is false, calling for my return to staff I attended are very rude and do not have any education, you amenasan to call the police if Segués claiming that they return your money and what they do is that they want you to give a credit to you paces another day, but if not I want to pass or a minute in the hotelucho of seedy, which does not serve to vacation with a family and less does not have access for people who are pregnant, there is a site so a 8 months pregnant person can share a time of tranquility in the sea, do not have access to beach that is false what show in web page, I do not recommend it to anyone, and todabia I am fighting to make return me my money and no one from the hotel is to release me for the inconvenience which made me cause my family and children, do not serve so I give them 1 or 0 of category because the more important are guests and not the money. They have to learn to tartar well users that we rely on services that show on their internet sites and when we give accounts which do not exist to return its money because that is scamming people because the keys are county authorities investigating this scam that makes this hotel with tourists who come to recreacionar and spend the holidays with our families.

The room was nice for the price. There was a slight smoky smell to the room. Other than that our stay was great. The waterway right outside the room was a plus there were lots of neat looking fish right outside our room every morning. The restaurant has really good breakfast.

Definitely one of the worst costumer-services I have ever received in my 20 years of living in Florida. The managers work in the front-desk, I am assuming because they do not make enough money to be paying any employees other than one lady whom cleans all the rooms (which would explain why people complain about roaches, smells, and dirty rooms). They're not interested in helping you or anybody (doesn't matter how much money you paid), you'll make their lives much easier by cancelling your stay, that way they will not have to accommodate you and they will still keep your deposit. Hotel itself has nothing in it; no beach, no breakfast, no water-sports, no bar, and definitely no guest-attendants. If you'd like to pay $100+ per night for a cheap hotel next to the highway, with a very small pool, dirty rooms, and horrible costumer service, then be my guest.

My husband and I frequently visit Key West but someone recommended we stay in Islamorada for a change. We chose this place because it is literally one mile marker to Islamorada for half the cost of their hotels. We were so lucky to choose this awesome inn! Friendly staff, great little breakfast place, clean room, and a nice little pool. I can't wait to stay here again!

My wife and I were traveling to the Florida Keys for a getaway weekend. We look for a place to stay and came across the Creekside Inn. After reading a couple of the reviews, I had some concerns about Roaches in the room. They assured me that this had happened before they renovated the rooms last year. Upon Check-in I asked if I could see a room and the front desk lady said rudely NO. I was shocked! She proceeded to remind that this is a no refund reservation and that I had sign the agreement form that they emailed to me. Which of course looked like a Lawyer drafted and was serval pages long. I declined to sign it and ask if I could still stay and she said yes. Here is where it begins. The room a appeared clean at first glance like there Pictures. I proceeded to the Bathroom after a 100 mile drive to the keys. I lifted the toilet seat at there was a Live floating Silverfish in the toilet. The Door Knob to the Bathroom was lose and about to come off and the Baseboard was coming off in the corner. I immediately call the front office from my Cell since there are no landlines in the room. (That's is a Safety Issue I bet) she said that they would call maintenance to have it fixed. On our way out to diner we stop by the front desk to show them the Picture of the Silverfish the Front Desk lady just shrugged her shoulders like it was an everyday occurrence.

Room was very nice. We loved the canal and seeing the boats. The pool was open 24 hours. We enjoyed the tiki hut and sitting under the stars late at night. We will definitely be coming back. Daniel at the front desk was nice and helpful. We had no problems.
