Stayed there May 23rd in room 204. At 130am when we went to go to bed, we noticed bed bugs crawling ALL over both beds! We immediately went to the front and they said ‘sorry we’ll give you your money back but we don’t have another room’ so we had to sleep in our truck! I have the videos on my phone. Absolutely disgusting! Beware!

We are a frequent guest here. The rooms are always clean and ours have always been spacious. The staff are absolutely wonderful always willing to give me a helping hand even when really not needed. Hot water is a must for me and the water is hot here. Breakfast is always good. This is our place when we stay in crystal river.

Given the room key to an occupied room. Our room was not ready at 445 in the afternoon. Room key did not work. Given a handicapped room?! it reeks! carpet is filthy. Not a happy camper!

The room's were nice. The pool area is great too. It's good for parties. The breakfast they served was also really good!

Stayed 1 night. Pros: Room was clean. Beds were neat and smelt clean. Plenty of towels and other linens. Staff was welcoming and accomodating. Continental breakfast was adequate. Its options were as follows: Egg (Only sub par item, were cooked in a disc shape and were over cooked Sausage links Make your own waffle Yougurt Breads (bagel, toast, muffins) OJ, Apple Juice, milk, coffee Cons: No bathroom ventilation Water fountain in breakfast room was broken or not turned on. Overall a pleasant stay.

Clean, comfortable, good price and friendly staff.

My wife and I were in town for my brothers graduation. Stayed at the Quality Inn for the pricing, didnt mind the drive to Lecanto. Room was great overall, the wall outlet next to the bed opposite the door was a little far from the nightstand, but wasn't a big issue. Staff was friendly and helping when called on.

Stayed here one night on a cross country trip. Room was clean and everything worked fine. Noise was not a problem even though this is a single story building and cars park right outside your door. I was pulling a u-haul trailer and had plenty of parking. Breakfast was adequate with some hot choices. The eggs could have been better. The price was a little high for what you got. I stayed on a weekend night.

Terrible place. Room was dirty when we got there, front desk was rude, and then they charged us again 6 months later. We are still fighting with them and our bank because they swear they didn't charge us the first time, but their corporate office said otherwise. Terrible, terrible hotel. Would not recommend to anyone.

They accepted cash for my room 95$ then charged my card the day after we checked out, be carful check your bank statements this is fraudulent and against the law they put it back on but there saying it takes up to five day's I dont have five days my son was killed at work and I have to be in federal court in valdosta florida this is unacceptable I am calling a lawyers I wouldn't pay cash someone pocketing it but they have camera thank goodness! uuugh on top there not willing to do anything to compensate us, being it was there fault they should give us a three night stay at the federal court in valdosta ga… on top I have a broken back uugh.

This is not a place you should ever bring your family, especially if you are an atypical family. Charity made extremely inappropriate comments about my mom and dad because they are divorced but still vacation together with us kids. She made me feel horrible and was mean to my mom. She has a filthy mouth and no consideration for others, especially children and families. Do not stay here!

Staff are always friendly, check in is easy and fast. Not too far from a quaint beach lots of restaurants and Publix near by. Felt safe and comfortable, clean rooms, quiet. Love staying here during vacations.

Was told we would have a pet friendly room when we got there, but after traveling 7 hours with our dog we did not. One of the ladies at the front told us that she would charge out room, so it ended up being fine, but not here we are 6 months after I PAID for our hotel room I am getting charged AGAIN. I was told it was because we were never charged in the first place but we definitely did, and as 2 college students you definitely notice when you have $100 less, so now I am having to deal with my bank after dealing with their sub par hotel and service.

The Quality Inn was fine for the price. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast is included. My only complaint was there were not enough towels for everyone in the room. I guess it's quality, not quantity.

The front desk people have 3 or 4 rooms with their friends staying there, full time. They come down and take most of all the free breakfast with 2 people in about 3 trips. Mainly to feed the 5 kids staying with them. Oh and the stains and smells are a bit overbearing even for a jail cell.

Just as Nice inside as Hampton Inn C. R. For about Half the Price… and The Manager Guy Gave Me us $20 Discount & Got the Best Room w/ The Jacuzzi Tub on top of The Discount!

Doesn't even deserve 1 star. Nastiest place I have ever been to. Had to find another place to stay after a late arrival because the room smelled so bad and was dirty. The office was just as bad. Was told we wouldn't be charged but was. Do not stay at this place unless you like filth and if you do keep an eye on your bank account after giving them your card or pay with cash! I don't know how this place has not been shut down!

Honestly one of the worst hotels in town. Cock roaches, fleas AND bedbugs? I've heard of a BOGO but a three for one? That's about the best deal you're going to get considering the rooms are far overpriced at almost consistently $80 a room your amenities include fresh mold, holes in the walls perfect to store your unwanted trash, broken TV and missing remote guaranteed!, door handles that refuse to lock but they surely will spin around faster than a fidget spinner so I hope you're into random strangers walking in your room, if you're into that sort of thing. Housekeeping rarely cleans "stays" and god forbid you ask for a towel or blanket because they probably don't have extras and especially if you're a construction worker, prepare yourself for the worst towels and service they have. And by golly I hope you LOVE toenails because they never vacuum the rooms, I mean, you'd need a vacuum cleaner for that sort of thing I imagine. The pool is a mess in more ways than one, dirtier than the drug addict typically locked in the bathroom if they aren't screaming at one of the other guests in the middle of the night and let's not forget the live wires literally in the unlocked pool. And don't get me started on breakfast. Oh heck why not!? Avoid breakfast at all cost!

Tried to check in roo assigned was dirty and not cleaned from the night before. There were six different golfers trying to check inn and there rooms weren't ready. Person at desk was trying to check in other people while I stood there waiting to see if I could get another room. No other rooms were available. They said that only two cleaning people showed up. I cancelled room and checked in another place. Will never stay at the non quality inn again. They did nothing to resolve my problem.

Noh. 4, we checked in the “key” wouldn’t unlock the door. We told the guy at the desk and he said he would send someone down. We went out for awhile and came back and it still wasn’t fixed (2hours) we called again and he said he would call someone. Again, nothing happened. Again I called and said we are leaving for dinner, can we get back in. He said, yes, I have a key. When we came back the door was open……………. I mean open as in you could walk right in. Luckily, we had removed all our belongings because frankly by this time, we did trust anyone. When we approached him yet again, he said well, all the maintenance men had gone home now. We voiced our major disgust, and he virtually just shrugged it off. The next day we tried to talk to the manager, but he supposedly wasn’t there. The morning person was nice, but couldn’t really do anything other than take our name and number. Totally unacceptable.

Entered room after check-in. Room smelled of mildew so badly it nearly brought us to our knees. Went back to office and was given another room. Still smelled of mildew but not as bad. Went to breakfast at 7am. Scrambled eggs pan was empty. Went to desk. They said scrambled eggs are on the way. Stood there waiting 10 minutes. No eggs. Went back to front desk. Asked about sc eggs. Was told they would be ready in 26 minutes. My advice as a Choice Privileges member… STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Checked in 9/28/17. Front desk staff chatting with a friend during entire process. We did not stay in the room on Friday 9/29 as we spent the night with family that evening. We know the towels that were used when we checked in were not replaced because we came back to the room Friday evening to get some items and they were still on the floor. The fleas were discovered Saturday night. I did not say anything to the front desk at check out. She was busy chatting with a friend in the lobby during check out process. This made me even angrier and I did not want to cause a scene. At this point, I just wanted to get home. Our luggage and contents as well as my car had to be treated/washed for fleas.

The rooms include TV, Wi-Fi, mini fridge and micro. The beds are clean and comfortable. The parking lot is well lit. Good coffee, waffles and breakfast treats. I always stay at this hotel when visiting Crystal River. Excellent value.

Great place to stay in Crystal River, FL. Lots of boat parking. Breakfast is really nice — waffles, sausage, pastry, cereals, fresh fruit, egg patties, and yogurt. It has an outdoor pool, ice and vending machines but no fitness center that I could find. They do have morning papers for guests, free Internet that was spotty at times, an in room coffee maker, microwave and small refrigerator was nice. Overall a really nice visit.

We have stayed here for the last 4 years. We have never had a problem until this year. Bad smell, bug on floor, hair in beds, big brown stain that no one had even attempted to clean, not vacuumed, broke fridge with black mold all around it on the shelving unit. WE told all this to the lady at the front desk and she said they were booked full and there was nothing she could do, but WE were welcome to move the fridge unit out of the room. When I insisted on a change of room they figured something out. This room also had not been vacuumed but otherwise it was much cleaner. Then we figured out that the matt in the bathtub was not for slipping. It was covering a huge hole in the tube floor. We only stayed the one night. Sad to say we will not be back. Oh and the ice machine was moldy as well.

This hotel is really bad. When we entered our room we noticed the linen on the bed was dirty with blood like stains on the comforters. Also the parking lot was a mess, they let the fishermen stretch their cars and boats across all the parking spots closer to the rooms with light over them, making guests like me without a boat to park a mile away in the dark, when addressed they said they agree but did nothing. Our a. C. Unit in our room didn't work well, the room stayed warm though the ac ran the whole time we were gone. In order in get some coolness we had to turn off all lights and sit still but the room still remained warm. When addressed the hotel said it couldn't be fixed until a day later, our day of check out. Also found roaches in the restroom and dirty stains on furniture. Our reservations were messed up twice and housekeeping came the first morning after we checked while we were sleeping and woke us up, saying we suppose to check out. We had reservations for 2 nights and 3 days. With all these issues I decided to talk to the hotel, but they informed me there was no point because Quality Inn is franchised out and privately owned so complaining wouldn't matter. If I could truly rate a number to give them it would be — 5!

Terrrribbblleeee place. My 5 year old daughter left her ipad there on accident. I called about an hour after we left to see if they would hold it for us to pick up and just so happens… the ipad wasn't in there. I know for a solid fact it was. It rained the whole weekend. We didn't leave the hotel the whole time we were there. It was not in our vehicle. 2 times the morning, room service knocked on the door trying to rush us put before check out. So I know as soon as we left, they went in to clean. They said they would have the manager call me and they never did. Asssssholllesss. U stole from a 5 year old!

Hit in the face with a mildew/musty smell. Light bulb burnt out in lamp. Decent breakfast being served. So smelly. Can't get past that.

My bedding was disgusting and stained with what looked like old blood stains. I asked for the maids to change out the bedding all they did was flip the covers over to the cleanest side which still wasn't clean. I had to go down to front desk to get a new duvet for the bed and I got upstairs to put it on and it was still stained horribly with big yellow stains… they obviously don't care enough about their guests to not replace the duvets in the rooms. I called about the issue to the manager on Monday 07/18/2016 and the front desk staff said the manager was sick and he would call me later that day … never received a call back!

Rooms are alright, found centipede in bed when I got in, decent breakfast in the morning. Would I stay there again? Probably, but I would take the days inn down the road if given a choice.

Not a bad hotel. Could be a little more up to date. Staff is nice and friendly. Breakfast could be better but it's not too bad. I will say the cleaning staff could be better, I found a small pill in the bathroom. But when I took it to the front desk they were very sorry and sent someone in to clean right away!

I found animal feeces in my room. Front desk manager Trent came in and picked it up. Said there ya go and left. My daughter found bugs — German cockroaches scattering in the bathroom. My sheets had blood stains on them. We tried to check out and the manager was very rude and said no refunds we decided to stick it out. I went to the complentary breakfast and as I picked up cups German cockroaches scattered across the counter. My husband went to grab a slice of white toast and it was moldy, my daughter said the milk smeed sour and it was chunky along with a horrible smell coming from the waffle mix. I stuck my head into the door where I seen housekeepers go to prepare food and I seen roaches on the walls as they were just rinsing water on dishes. I'm disturbed from what I had witnessed! I went to tell the front desk manager what had happened and the owner Reggie just happened to be in. He was very rude and walked away from me when I was trying to be poliet as possible. The front desk manager Bonnie told me there was nothing she could do and the roaches are a "frequent thing, they can't do shit about them". I didn't get an offer of refund on anything! I don't care about a refund but that was downright disgusting and the pace needs to shut down!

I gave it a 2 star because if you are handicaped and you ask for a hadicaped room you should get one. The bathroom was a tub with a chair on the outside of it that you can put in the tub well if 1. I could step over and into the tub I would not ask for a specific room for hadicaped. 2 the bed was way to high for me to get in 3. There was minimal space to move arounded the room. 4 The TV was on the 3 foot high low dresser the beds where higher then the TV so you can not lye in bed and watch TV before you go to sleep.

We found our room to be very nice for the price range. Everything was clean and the room even smelled good. I would definetly stay here again. Nice friendly staff.

We had booked for 2009, originally for 3 nights, upon arrival, however, immediately on 1 night reduced. The Hotel relatively clean, the structural condition could be better. The swimming Pool is useful, but not really beautiful. Breakfast typical American Standard. Accommodation price is moderate. Price/performance ratio was right so overall. The negative impact of the existing smell was in the room. The location of the hotel is something "outside" of Crystal River. In the immediate vicinity is not much really. For 1 night as a transit hotel is highly recommended. In the case of a longer stay should look for Alternatives.
