Absolutely lovely condos for a relaxing vacation. Pools; golf; tennis; boat canal on the bay; and a perfect private, white-sand beach with clear, emerald waters. Safe community with friendly gate staff. Great for families, friends. Many units not only include beach chairs and umbrella, a washer and dryer in unit but also welcome our family pup. Can't wait to come back again next year!

Really, this place is amazing. The staff is very friendly, they have 5 pools throughout the area and you can get beach front property too. They provide private beach access and it's amazing! Perfect location, great condos and paradise. What could be better?

My family and I stayed in Unit from July 1 — July 6, 2018. The unit is in need of much repair. The fiberglass shower upstairs had a crack in it and the shower curtain was full of mold on the bottom. My daughter experienced bites the first night sleeping in one of the upstairs beds. The kitchen was supplied sufficiently but the pots and pans need to be replaced. Also, all of our paperwork said check in time is 3pm but when we arrived they said "yeah, we changed that, now it's 4pm". We had lots of groceries in the car that needed to be refrigerated. Fortunately we did get in before 4pm, but "Yeah we changed that" without telling us in advance is not acceptable. I highly suggest you look for a different unit for your stay, giving the owner a much needed lull in activity so she can get the necessary repairs/updates completed. Needless to say I was totally disappointed in our accommodations. That being said the grounds and pools were lovely!

There’s no hot tub, it smells like poop, it’s outdated, they are not informative about passcodes or anything really other than rules, and this is not a place for young people. We were rushed out twice 30 minutes before check out then once again 10 minutes before check out and the lady was rude about it. We hung up our towels on the chairs outside because you aren’t allowed to put them anywhere else and they got soaked by the people’s things from “upstairs” dripping onto them. We put them up front on the rails for 20 minutes while we were obviously packing up to leave and got a citation put on our door lol. Also absolutely no smoking anywhere on the property. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone nor will I be staying again. This place is for old farts.

We stayed during Memorial Day weekend and overall the property of the condominiums themselves was great. The pools were clean, lots of pretty landscaping, the property was centrally located to the city, and the beach access was very nice. Regarding our condo itself (#2052), it was very dated but spacious. It had a nice view of the small canal, a washer/dryer, and Wi-Fi were a plus. However, our main concern was that upon arrival we found a large, dead roach under the vanity. We dismissed it being that it was dead. Upon coming back from dinner the first night we were "welcomed" by another roach at least 1.5-2" long but this time alive. It was sitting on top of the pull out sofa. We also found one alive in the kitchen (we hadn't eaten in there so there was no possibility of crumbs). Obviously my five year old was scared to sleep on the couch. We contacted the office when they opened the next morning and said all they could do was spray. We asked to be moved to another property but they wouldn't accommodate us. That left a bad taste in our mouth. We wouldn't personally stay there again.

Clean units, great location while still private. Don't even need a car if you plan it right.

Enjoyed staying at these condos! Owner had our particular condo unit well furnished with all appliances and amenities. Great location, and beautiful view, ground level with balcony. Wish I could be there now!

I love the cold air and the ice skating really a nice mountain get away best place to stay in Destin, Alaska.

Worst management company I have come across. Jack S. Was an incredibly rude and has no skill to solve problems. He lied to us about a refund. When we called (because the golf course was closed) he told us we could go find another resort to stay at. When we asked to speak to someone on the board of directors he told us we were not entitled to that. Unfortunately he personally ruined the trip. If the facility was managed professionally, this would be a really nice play to stay.

Loved the condo almost as much as the beach! Second year in a row we have made the trip out to Sandpiper Cove and will be back next summer! Annual vacation destination! Unit 1152

I've been here less than 30 minutes, and I've already decided that I won't EVER stay here again. Front security guard was amazingly rude and "cute" with his comments to my wife and I upon check-in. I'm being nice, and not typing what I really think about Mr. Rent A Cop. The urge is strong to go back and give this guy a piece of my mind or worse. Zero stars… Property itself is ok I guess, but the initial treatment has left a very extremely bad taste in my mouth. We were looking for a pet-friendly property at a reasonable price that wasn't out in the boondocks. Now my wife and I are agitated which has carried over to our dog. Stuck here until Sunday… Silver Dunes I miss you!

Really great place! We rented through Platinum Properties and were very happy. The beach was beautiful and the beach service staff was incredible!

Great people, great town, and a great location! Have been going to SPC since probably 2004 or 03 and have been in love with it ever since. I am looking forward to the day that I (or someone in my family) owns a unit there so we can always be a part of it!

Stayed for a week had a good time. The gate security was always smiling and waving, beach was short walk and clean. Rooms were clean and even though small had enough space and storage to not get cluttered.

Great spot to stay with the family with a lot of different condo options. We stayed in a unit on the beach and it was incredible to wake up every morning to the view. Also the Rick's Sand Shack (the snack stand) has great food at surprisingly reasonable prices. Was our first year but we will be going back to Sandpiper Cove.
