The staff was extremely friendly! The rooms (even though somewhat renovated) were older but extremely clean! Bed was very comfortable! Price was very fair for the area! I would recommend and I would stay there again! Especially nice if you are being careful with your expenses!

The front desk attendant Dhena (I hope I spelled correctly) was SO VERY kind and helpful. I had a problem with my card because I am from out of town. He helped me so much. I am very thankful. I didn’t get his name but I will update my review in the am! 5 stars ⭐️ very nice clean rooms. Pool is awesome!

The room is nasty they remade the beds with the dirty sheets that were already on the bed frig is dirty there is cups and paper in the floor the floor wasn’t swept or mop tables were dirty I do not recommend anyone staying here.

The place is very quiet and has very good restaurants within walking distance. You don't walk more than 5 minutes. The beach is very close.

Was a great stay and the environment was awesome.

Room was clean and hot breakfast was good. Not too far from beach and restaurants. Enjoyed use of the pool too!

Just got here, pool is awesome, clean room. Fridge needs to be cooler, ~~ no rod to hang clothes on. Really minor stuff. Good location, right off Main St~~ close to everything!

Very clean rooms, free Wi-Fi, pool and courteous, polite staff. Within one block to beach access, directly center to town activities. Had a great time!

There were hair and dirt on bad. Looks like it was not washed. Also I saw cocorach in the shower. Smelled like mold too. Internet connection however was good. And nice personal.

We have been to this hotel two years in a row now. Location is perfect for hitting all the local attractions and beaches. Only thing I would have to say I wish was different is the rooms are just a tad bit to small. But don't let that discouraged you from staying here.

We stayed a week in May. It was so much nicer than I had expected! Normally you get what you pay for with hotels. To be as cheap as it was, it was very clean! We did not swim, but the pool area looked nice and clean. The breakfast area is small but everything tasted great. The room was big enough for my husband, our daughter, and myself. Nice closet with plenty of room to keep everything put away. Also in a very up and going area. Lots of restaurants and things to do. Looked like some work was being done on the outside, and some of the rooms had been updated. Will definitely stay here if we visit Destin again!

Breakfast was good and it's located close to nearly everything you would need. The beds were ok and the room had a moldy smell, but nothing too bad. If you're the party type then this is definitely a place you would enjoy. For the family people out there, this is NOT the place for you. There was a lot of people partying and smoking weed. We complained about due to the smell coming into our room, and they said there was nothing they could do about it. I remind you that we had our kids with us and there were also kids in the room where the weed was coming from.

Has just been renovated. Kind of weird, no carpet on any of the floors. Makes it easier to clean the flood I guess. Nice pool very clean. Cheapest place to stay in Destin, FL. Was relatively quiet.

Great place to stay. Really nice homey rooms. Great staff. Great breakfast. Only thing was the shower was at best lukewarm but does the job. Would stay again.

I'm giving 4 stars because of the combination of location and price. The motel was clean and has been recently remodeled. The room we had did have a stale musty odor to it, but it was tolerable after we aired it out some. The beds could be a little newer and more comfortable. But they were acceptable and clean. The staff was very friendly and the morning breakfast was what you would expect from most hotels, and acceptable. Again, it's not a ocean side suite, but for the price it's a great value!

This is a great place to stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious. Our room was very clean. The pool was a perfect temperature and very clean and well maintained. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a great hotel.

Room was a lot nicer then what I originally expected. Free easy to use Wi-Fi. Complimentary breakfast was pretty good for what it was. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed my stay!

By far the best "Inn" or Motel I have ever stayed in. Excellent customer services. Very friendly front desk employees. The room was remarkably clean and put together. The location is right off the main highway and easily accessed. The area is decent. As I told my wife. They made the best of a Motel. Could almost be Hotel material. 100% satisfied!

Great place to stay. Felt safe. Was just basic inside the motel but was everything we needed. No need to spend extra on other ritsy hotels, save your money and get this place. There's even a washer and dryer for you to use, McDonald's down the road and all the beach access everywhere. Will be staying again for sure!

We stayed here not too long ago. It was still under renovation in a lot of areas. The updated rooms were very nice and spacious. Very clean, tile wood look floors. Desk workers were nice. They had security cameras up as well which gave a little more peace of mind.

The rooms were nice and updated. The staff is super friendly and nice. The breakfast is pretty good, only complaint about breakfast is they need salsa. Close to resturants and beaches. Overall a nice place to stay if you're on a budget. Hopefully they keep it budget friendly. (:

Everything is amazing except for the fact of how much they make you pay to get barely any ice.

Room is smaller but affordable. Good breakfast and daily cleaning. Don't take a shower in the morning. Take it in the afternoon. Water will be hotter. Also they are under construction.

The room was nice, you can smell there is some water damage and likely mold. But the price and location where great and the staff were very polite. The breakfast wasn't all that but I'd go again.

After reading reviews I was very nervous to stay here but it was a last minute trip and the price was amazing so I figured I'd give it a try. I stay in a lot of hotels when I travel for work and I cannot complain about the room. I thought it was very nice for the price I paid. The floors were clean, the bedding was clean and the TV was awesome. Our toilet had a hard time flushing and the sink only turned on in one direction but we're in Florida so obviously we aren't spending our time in the room except to shower and sleep so those minor thing weren't an issue. When I arrived the front desk lady saw I had little ones in the car and gave me a handful of individually wrapped cookies which was a huge hit, the pool was nice and clean with great chairs, and the breakfast was amazing. Overall we loved our stay!

I would stay here again. The rooms were clean. It is a motel so I wasn't expecting much, but it was nice actually. They have free Wi-Fi, breakfast in the mornings. A nice swimming pool. And the parking area was lit very well with cameras everywhere. So I felt really safe there. It's close to the charter fishing and party boats also.

This place is really nice and clean happy we found it after our long drive… friendly check in and people we would recommend this place and defiantly would stay again on our visit from California to Florida.

This place is great! Typical rooms but very clean. Smelled a little like mold but that was left quickly after a/c turned on. Also, the breakfast was awesome! Sausage, bacon, biscuits, Tracey…

It's a cheap hotel. Newly upgraded, clean and well worth being HALF the price if the others. But it's a cheap hotel so I have no complaints.

Because of the extremely cheap rate, I wasn't expecting much from this hotel. We were happily surprised. What I like most is the location. It is within walking distance to the water park, arcade, putt-putt and convenient store, and a very short drive to the state park beach access. The rooms were very clean, and I loved the hardwood floors. The lighting in the room was updated to LED and was very pleasant. All the appliances were new and in good condition. We were staying the opening weekend of the NFL's regular season, and we were happily impressed by the huge flat screen TV. My children loved the pool which was clean and easily accessed. The pool stays in full sun light and is great for soaking up the Florida sun. We have been staying at the Ramada Resort at Fort Walton Beach because the kids loved the pool, but now we can spend every day at the water park, arcade, putt-putt and beach for the same price. THIS IS A NO BRAINER! This family from Georgia can't wait for next year's Destin Inn & Suites vacation.

While this is not a new property they have made efforts to upgrade it recently. New a/c units, microwaves and mini fridges are in the rooms, and the main room outlets all have USB ports built in. There is new lighting and a curved shower rod with new flooring throughout. The breakfast was pretty good with eggs, sausage, bacon, cereals and waffles. Over all not a bad place to stay if you are not dead on bring ON the beach.

It is terrible, nasty and smelling so bad in the room. You can find dust and dirt on the floor and in each corner (I took photos for a bad souvenir). We stopped just for 2 nights but it was scaring too sleep since it was so dirty and noisy. There were some holes from cigarettes in the bed sheets and you cannot imagine the quality of the floor (it was not washed since several weeks or more). There was no internet working but people were still continuing that it was my fault (Iphones and computer not working). During breakfast people were not pleasant and the quality was bad. After so much trips in the US, I have never seen so filthy place as this one. The first day, I came late and I was just drinking a coffee. During this time, 2 employees were eating together some food and speaking together not in English and not taking care of my family and me. It was non acceptable. After my demand to speak to the manager I was supposed to wait more than one hour and he still did not appear… I cannot understand how this place could get more than 7 points note on the website booking. More than 200 $/night it is crazy. The real price must be maybe no more than 50$ (taxes included). Really bad experience : — (

The rooms were clean and smelled good. The breakfast was good but I think they a better variety of breakfast items. The housekeepers were on point. The only negative thing I found was they charge for ice. Really. As much as I paid nightly ice should be included. Staff was nice. Would go back.

I love this place for the reasonable price, quick check-in and the convenient location. The room is super clean with laminated wood floor, comfortable beds, new, fresh look decoration and nice amenities with vertical dresser, desk, fridge, microwave and spacious vanity top. The TiVi is huge with nice sound system. The air conditioner is quiet and cool. Destin Inn & Suites is a step above other 2-star hotels! I stay for 5 nights and really enjoy it. I would recommend to my friends.

I am currently spending my first night here. So far I have been very pleased. Room is very clean, up-to-date, nice/new furniture, and comfy. Location is perfect. Exactly in the middle of everything you could want to do in Destin! Haven't tried their breakfast bar yet but plan to. Staff was super friendly upon arrival. Yes… prices for a night were a little high… but it is memorial weekend so it was expected. However, I would definitely consider another stay should I find myself back in Destin! A+

My family really enjoyed our stay at Destin Inn & Suites. Our room was nice and the large TV was a hit with the kids. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location is great — many many things to do within a short distance. The kids loved the pool especially! And the hot complementary breakfast was awesome — I love being able to get biscuits and gravy when I'm back in the South.

Room and bathroom had a real funny smell. The floor was dirty and never was mopped. The breakfast was cold and horrible… even the waffles… only one washer and dryer at the hotel which was horrible… we also had to wait to bathe bc there were no towels… sheets had hair on it… needs to be a lot cheaper… will not stay here again.

They have smart TVS! SMART TVS! Omg. And a pool. And the breakfast is great. 10/10 would recommend.

I was skeptical when booking this hotel but it exceeded my expectations. Rooms were clean. Will stay again. Breakfast was decent.

This hotel is much more than meets the eye. Very nice for the price. I was skeptical when I pulled up but once I got in the room, I was impressed. The room came equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, and a nice large, mounted flat screen TV. The beds were very comfortable. Me and my buddy stayed there for the Destin marathon so we ended up checking out an hour and half late. Erik, concierge desk person, was nice enough to waive the late checkout fee for us. He was extremely helpful.

The room are remodel, very nice, comfortable. I enjoy my stay here for a great price. I will be visiting again soon. The only thing I didn't like is the sheets are too thin and I was a little cold with the A. C being off. Other than that its a nice suites.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The room was newly updated and nice. Clean and comfortable. They are renovating the hotel. They had a hot breakfast and friendly staff.

The staff is very polite and considerate. I got a non-smoking king room and it was clean but a little run down. Nevertheless every thing worked. The breakfast us a nice touch. For the money, it works.

Not even worth the one star I had to give it to write this review! The kid at the front desk was a new employee and was very kind. The owner on the other hand not so much! Our room was Roach infested! We were there not even in the room 20 minutes and had seen over a dozen roaches, on the bed, walls, desk and floor! The kid at the desk called the owner and he refused to refund us for both nights that we paid for with cash when we checked in 4 hours prior. You better believe we will be writing reviews on every page we can and contacting the BBB.

We stayed 3 nights and the Wi-Fi was horrible. The room smelled like mildew and you have to pay for ice. Our room was clean and they cleaned it each day and changed the bedding each day. The breakfast was ok. Frozen biscuits, microwave eggs, bacon, and sausage, and already prepared gravy. The pool was great and we could stay late. We had to pay an extra $25.00 to check in 3 hours early. The staff was very helpful on local attractions and the best places to eat. I would stay here again if there was nothing else available. The location is perfect. We were right on the main strip close to everything. The AC took awhile to cool the room where we comfortable.

Location is perfect, budget price was reasonable and amenities were in line with expectation. Air conditioning was on the weak side but maybe that was just my luck and rooms were all booked so couldn't switch. All in all still a pleasant experience.

This hotel was not bad at all. We stayed for 3 nights (July 27-30, 2015) and payed $300. We basically only used it to sleep because most of our day we would spend it at the beach or doing fun activities. When we walked in the room it was really clean and smelled really good. I like the fact that it didnt have carpet it had wood floor. The beds where really comfy and the pillows too. We always had clean towls by the way those where comfy too. Breakfasts was good not the best but hey at least we didnt have to spend money on breakfast. The front desk people where always nice to us. The guy that was working night shift/morning always made sure there was enough breakfasts for everyone. The pool was fun my kids had a awsome time there. The best part about this hotel is that the beach was so close to us actually everything was so close to us restaurant's stores gas stations ect. I can really go on and on about this hotel. I will defently be staying here on my next visit to Destin, Fl.

Not worth the money. Rooms were dirty. Hot breakfast was bad. (microwave eggs, bacon, sausage, & pre cooked biscuits) waffle maker timer didn't work and the dining area was dirty not clean after the guest finished eating. You have to pay $0.25 per bucket of ice. If you stay multiple days your key don't work the next day. At night if you needed towel you have to go get them yourself and one day they only had 2 small towels. The towels looked dirty. The Wi-Fi internet didn't stay connected. I could go on and on. I wouldn't stay again and wouldn't recommend it.

DIRTY! They do not change their sheets. I travel for business all the time and have stayed in hundreds of hotels. This is probably one of the worst experiences I've had. The sheets were stained and had multiple long hairs laying on them. Everything was really damp in the room. I had cigarette burn holes on my comforter. I woke up several times that night itching very bad. This is the first time I have ever experienced bed bugs at a hotel. I would of immediately left but there were no vacancy available at any hotels in Destin, Fort Walton, and Navarre. When I checked out, I told the guy at the front desk. He didn't care and said next time I stayed, they would change the sheets. I told him there would be no next time. On top of it, they charged me $200 for one night for this dump. Do not waste your money here.

This Hotel was great! Reasonable price, friendly staff, and the room was real clean. Hardwood flooring made out Spring break stay very enjoyable.

99.99 a night I understood 19.99 the woman had an accent. Tv reception was not good at all. For that price a holiday inn would have been better.

This place was great. We just used it for pool and sleep, most of the time at the beach. The morning receptionist was fun and friendly. Had great information about all the beaches.

Stayed at this motel 2nd week of Sept. 2014. Price was great on my budget. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful. Should I visit Destin, Fl. In future, I'll stay here again for sure. Again very nice place.

This place is a dump. I paid 180 dollars for one night. The room smelled like an ashtray and outside the dumpster from the restauraunt in front smelled the dead shrimp. It is disgusting and if we could have found another place I would have forfeited the money and paid somewhere else.

My boyfriend and I vacationed in Destin over our fall break and stayed here four nights. The rooms were spotless, smelled nice, the sheets were clean. Staff was friendly. Overall, it was cheap and very nice. We definitely got our money's worth. The beach is just across the road and it is in a great location.

Drove here 12 Hours from Tennessee, Hotel is OBVIOUSLY under new management. Had the best time in Destin, had extra money to spend thanks to the cheap hotel. Staff was friendly and understanding after I missed checkout at 11 AM. Room was nice and clean, hotel is TOTALLY convenient to just about everything in Destin, and just a few miles from Ft. Walton. MUST try the restaurant in front of the hotel. They have the BEST crab Cakes you will find in Destin! :).
