Will definitely stay here again! The resort has many amenities you can take advantage of. Rooms were clean and fresh. We took a short trip and stayed over the weekend but I’d suggest staying longer so that you can actually explore the hotel grounds and participate in the other offered activities such as bicycling and boating.

Great appearance! I felt it’s a bit expensive for the room size. Balcony area is underwhelming more like a terrace. Walls are thin we could hear next door guests closing doors after midnite and loud convos. Restaurants are very nice! Food is delicious! Resort area is awesome! No complaints. The pool side bar is great & staff friendly. I would give it a 3 star overall because of the cost with added fees (resort fees per person & parking).

Prior to my check-in I reached out to the hotel as I was celebrating my husbands 40th birthday and wanted to see what services they offered to decorate. They sent me a list of things they could do and I agreed on a $70 charge to put rose petals on the bed and leave a slice of cheesecake in the room at check in. The asked me to check in late so they would have time to set that up which I agreed to and altered my travel plans around. When I got to the room there were no decorations or cake. I was very disappointed and reached back out letting the hotel know. They offered no apology or anything at all. Very disappointed as they charge an astronomical resort fee…

Self parking Is really far away, I got fruit from the market place that was molded and the isn't a restaurant that has one vegan option. Not thrilled with Marriott.

We’re Disney pass holders but live hours away so we always stay overnight, several times a year and this is always our go-to hotel! Excellent amenities, a well-equipped gym and on-site restaurant with health conscious options in a stunning setting and close but not too close to the parks! Even when we don’t have the kids with us we still choose this resort!

The pool is big and fun. The view of the lake is very beautiful. And I Enjoy eating the Grill Chicken sandwich, it was good. Its is a cool place to relax with my Family. My girls had fun.

Cool place. I can’t even begin to tell you how awesome this place is. We stayed 8 days so we really got to experience everything. Bell staff greeted us as soon as we pulled up. Helped us with all our bags and even set them up in our room. We had to have a package sent to the hotel. They made sure we got it and mailed a package for us (postage was on it). Room was beautiful and comfortable. Room facing the pool is beautiful. I would highly recommend to get the pool view. Restaurant is really good. We have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner and was never disappointed. The pool is awesome and clean. Be sure to try the kayaks, and water amenities as they were all fun. The drinks (mixed drinks) were pricey I thought. $60 for 4 drinks. We would definitely return as every staff person was very helpful and friendly. 5 out 5 for us.

This place is amazing. It has so much to do. It's literally the best place to stay. We left a hotel to come to this one. This place exceeded any expectation we had. Pool water was wonderful and staff was even better. Ill rant and rave about this place to anyone visiting the area!

Great atmosphere and plenty of activities to enjoy.

Beautiful hotel inside and out. Our room was huge. Craig at the front desk, went above and beyond to help us navigate our way around the property. This is our first stay. The pool and waterfalls are beautiful. The Kayaks and waterbikes were really cool. Played some mini golf,, and rode the bike paths. View of the horizon at sunset was breathtaking. We will definitely be back next year.

From Check In to Check Out this place was PERFECT! By far one of the best hotels I have stayed at. Fitness center was open round the clock pool open tell 12 rooms are quiet and perfect I had the room with the view of the pool and part of the lake and you could see the fireworks from Disney on the Patio. Shuttles are easy to the parks and quick Uber also picks you up from the hotel and to the parks less then a 12 dollar fare. Used the spa for a massage and it rocked. ALL and ALL perfect place to stay! Will be back again.

For Orlando area residents you can't find a better value for a weekend getaway. Amenities galore! Wonder pool area, a like with rowboats, 3 restaurants and a bar. The rooms are newly renovated with 70" TVs and a very comfortable bed. There is a ceiling fan in the room! The staff is kind and helpful. Pool open to midnight with a poolside bar. Access to golf courses and 10 minutes to Disney. Disney fireworks visible from the lakeside and pool view rooms.

The most amazing hotel and resort I have ever been too! This hotel has great service. Even when I was up at 2:00 in the morning to catch my flight the staff was still so kind. They even helped me take my bags to my car. Everything is pretty pricey there, but oh well because my family and I had the times of our lives!

Very beautiful grounds with exquisite gardening. Newly rebuilt rooms are reasonably well thought out, but day to day building maintenance gets a C — grade, below average for a Hyatt Regency. Two sinks in my room both had trouble draining; electrical wiring (for which switch does what) seems to have been done by a non-electrician worker or apprentice on his first day; sliding doors to balcony have aging, corroded hardware; window drapes had some good, some broken tracks, hard to open and close. People working here seemed wonderful, which makes it hard to write this, but they need better attention to detail in room maintenance. Edited 8/17 — — my concerns with the drains in the room were addressed and fixed while I was there, and a clicking noise in the air con was also fixed while I was there, but the drapes issue was not, and no one could renovate sliding door hardware while I was there. But overall, the place is beautiful, and the people working there are very nice. The amenities are great, and I would in fact go back any time, but we who pay the rates do have a right to be picky.

Beautiful place! Looking forward to going back next year for the NAM pageant! Wish they had more kid friendly food options. When pageant week is going it would be AMAZING if they had food booths set up for quick snacks. The pageant is going non stop so the contestants don't have much time to eat, but those are the only reason I'm giving 4 not 5 stars.

The hotel is amazing and impeccably clean. There isn't anything negative to say about this place, I'm only going to offer a few suggestions to make it even better. To get into the hotel grounds, one must stop and check in with the security guard. If it's your first time entering, the guard will check the guest list and give you a pass to display on your vehicle. That's cool and all, but many times there were about 4-5 vehicles ahead of me and they all needed passes, which made for a good wait just to get into the hotel grounds. I think there should have been a dedicated line for new guests so that registered guests didn't have to wait so long so to get into the hotel grounds. After getting into the hotel grounds, there was another gate to access the self parking area. To get into self parking, one must swipe the room key for the gate to open. Well, what happens when the people in front of you don't have access, or don't know how to perform this very simple task? A long wait in line. Again, there was only line lane available to get into the self parking area and I think at least two lanes should be available. Also, it is a long hike from self parking area to hotel, but I don't think anything can be done about this because the place is so big, which is fine. And lastly, there is no kiddie pool for toddlers. The hotel has an amazing, massive pool but nothing for toddlers.

I had a wonderful stay here for a little weekend break! The front desk representative was friendly and professional… truly an example of great guest service. My room was spotless. My dinner and drinks afterwards, at Hemingway's, was absolutely perfect (try the crab cakes). I'll be back for sure!

Unimpressed! I had to unload my car upon arrival and there was no one there to bring my belongings in, so I loaded one of their carts and went to check-in. One of their staff reprimanded me in the lobby stating their carts are "not for self service". That pissed me off! I stated, "Well if someone was there to help me I wouldn't have used your cart. 2nd Issue: I go to Hemingway's restaurant expecting a fine dinning experience only to be sat in front of the line-cook's window. After sitting there thinking I felt like I was a Red Lobster I keep seeing guest coming from a hallway around the corner, so I went to check it out only to find 3 beautiful rooms with great views of the lite pool and they were just about empty (10-15 empty tables). I go to fine dinning establishments for the experience. I dropped $250 for dinner and they sit me in the worse seats in the restaurant. I told the manager he is failing at his job. 3rd Issue: We stayed in a room for pets. Our carpets were damp to the touch and the room smelled like a dog. I requested another room. I asked to see the other room to make sure I was not moving to a worse room. The desk said they would bring us a key. A half hour latter, still no key. I called down again to see where the key was. They said they were short staffed and I should come down and get the key my self. So I had to go downstairs and wait in line. Meanwhile I have small children that where chomping at the bit to go to the pool.

My wife and I just stayed here for 16 nights, and it was a tremendous experience overall. The amenities provided were great. We loved the pool, the gym, and the fun lakefront boats, etc. My only complaint would be that the resort fee + self parking fee seems ridiculously high. For one day, the resort fee is $30, which is fine because it provides those amenities, but on top of that to park your own car you have to pay an additional $22 per day, plus a parking tax of a little over a $1. That's insane. Hyatt should just bake the $30 into the actual listed price of the room because it's not an optional fee. And they should either dramatically lower the parking fee or if they're going to force a resort fee, parking should be included.

My husband and I have been staying at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress for over two weeks now while we have been on vacation and we have been absolutely loving our experience. The staff is so kind and welcoming from the moment you first walk through the door. The rooms are beautiful and the views have been gorgeous. Their amenities have also been great. They have an amazing pool, fully stocked gym, and lots of outdoor recreational activities that are all included in your room price. We have loved staying here and will definitely be returning.

My family and I came for brunch to the Lakehouse restaurant for Mother's Day and we really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Those pancakes we're INCREDIBLE! We had a great server and enjoyed all aspects of our meal to the fullest. We then gave ourselves a little self tour of the hotel which looked amazing. All in all, it was a great way to start our Sunday.

I have to say this is hands down the nicest resort I've ever been to. The pool is amazing, designed to look like a natural rock outcrop. The sandy beach is relaxing and fun with things like kayaks and paddle boards. The walk ways and paths outside are lined with art. The rooms and interior are modern and lovely.

Probably the best hotel I can imagine in Orlando and one of the best Hyatt resorts ever. Everything new, everything clean, perfect ambiance. First class. A fantastic facility with pools, a cave and waterfall landscape, a play Hale for children, a golf court and so much more. We celebrated New Year's Eve and you can't say anything negative about this hotel, except that it was not very cheap (about 450 USD/room on New Year's Eve).

The room was sub par. Our shower leaked so bad that at the end of the first full day the bathmat and towel we put down was soaked. Called to have it fixed, and it still leaked after. The only friendly staff I encountered was a housekeeper on our floor who was wonderful, and the girl who checked me out Laura. The girl who checked me in was pleasant, but she asked if I wanted to upgrade for a small fee. This wouldn't be a problem, except when I declined she gave me the upgrade for free. I felt like they just wanted my money. The rest of the staff acted like I was a teenager loitering in the hotel, when I didn't even use a third party to book. Paid full price, never again. Hyatt has consistently disappointed me time and again.

Nice hotel and great staff (super helpful). Walking distance (~1 mi. ) to several enjoyable places to eat. The walk before and after was enjoyable too. Beautiful pool though I didn't get to enjoy it on my trip. They seem to have shuttles to Disney which would be nice if that's what I was there for (check the hours on the shuttles)

Everything at this resort is a wonderful sight for the eyes, but I don't think I'd want to stay here again. While there are some activities and nice amenities included in the cost of the stay, so much of this resort was a massive let down. If you want food while staying here without spending a fortune, you'll have to make daily trips to the grocery store (very little fridge space in room, no cookware of any sort). Food / drinks on site are about 3x more expensive than you'd expect, and the portions were modest at best. The big pool featured in many of the pictures for this place was far too cold for anyone to bare swimming in as it is not heated, so most people spent their time in the much smaller heated pool, which of course was always crowded. The water sports were a nice to have, but being that the lake is not fit for swimming in, got kinda boring pretty fast. If you're staying with a car, there's parking available, but from what I understand you have to pay per day, and of course it's not cheap. The location for this resort is okay. The shuttle service (free) makes it easy to get to Universal / Disney. There's not much else in the area though. Over an hour away by car from any ocean beaches.

Good location, Good service and excellent amenities.

Took the family for a week vacation at the Hyatt Grand Cypress and couldn't have been more pleased. The grounds of the hotel are very beautiful, staff is great, and hotel is centrally located for all major attractions in area. The on site restaurants are not the cheapest but the food and service is excellent. There are 3 pools (1 heated / 2 cooled) which is a great place to take in some sun and relax. There is also poolside service for drinks & food which is s nice touch. The poolside staff is very attentive so you never have to wait to long to get whatever you are looking for. There is a beautiful 20 year old parrot named Merlot perched in the main lobby. My wife and I were greeted by Tim in the main lobby who was very happy to talk about Merlot. It appears that Merlot adopted Tim as a friend & feather scratcher. Tim was also a great resource to answer any questions you might have about hotel and surrounding area. There is a daily resort fee of $33 but it includes use of all — sail boats / kayaks / bicycles / paddle boats / rock climbing / unlimited poolside towels. We would highly recommend the Hyatt Grand Cypress and would definitely return on our next trip to Orlando. Great job Hyatt!

I love this place. Everyone that works here is very nice and attentive. The rooms are comfortable, the views are great, and there's so much to do just on this property. I really enjoyed golfing on the 9 hole pitch-and-putt course, sailing up and down the private Lake, swimming through the caves, drinking cocktails by the pool, and even just walking around the property. I can't wait to go back.

Although I sprained my ankle it was an Amazing Experience! Security was great! Barry was truly an exceptional gentle giant during my stay, really made my experience that really great! He was very knowledgeable; he was patient and gentle with me. Linda was also extremely helpful also! The grounds we're beautiful very serene exudes peace and tranquility. If you aren't Valet, parking can be a challenge considering the distance between the parking lot and the elevator's to your room. Lastly if you are ordering food from outside you have to meet the person at the gate. My experience was a really great one! I can't wait to go back!

I’ll rate this hotel 5 stars for the service alone. I won’t get into it but my credit card company messed up and left me stranded; George, the manager, went out of his way to accommodate. A thanks to Matt at the front desk as well. Great service from the lobby lounge girls. An overall excellent experience.

Nice hotel. Food and service for the most part very good. Servicing of rooms non existent and rooms were not cleaned. At heck out I asked and they claimed their has been significant turnover. This is unacceptable in a pricey hotel. Also BUYER beware. There is a $30 per day "service fee" for the use of the pool and gym even though I didn't use them! Apparently it's in the fine print but I couldn't find it.

Beautiful and clean hotel. Lots of activities included. Staff was polite. The location is also great. We wish the big pool was heated (it was way too cold) and we wish parking was more convenient for the daily cost ($20).

The resort was very nice and the staff was very nice and helpful as well. Lots of activities for kids and adults. Huge non heated pool with two different areas separated by caves and waterfalls you can swim through. Another separate heated pool that was mainly for kids because the water slide emptied in to it. I liked kayaking on the lake and the pitch and putt was fun for families and non-golfers. I used the golf academy, that was included in the daily hotel service fee, at the Grand Cypress Villas and Golf Course about 1 mile down the road. It had a great range, practice green, and 4 full scale practice holes. The course was nice as well, 45 holes. The pool bar/restaurant was a fun place, the two restaurants on site seemed nice but we ventured off property. There are tons of chain restaurants, sports bars, fast food within a 1/2 mile to a mile of the hotel. The shuttle buses to Disney were very nice and clean. The fitness center had everything I needed and was fairly big. I recommend getting a high floor room facing the lake because at night you can see the fireworks at Magic Kingdom. Great resort, great location, can't wait to go back.

Its really nice and there is surprisingly quite a bit to do on property (rock climbing, water activities, golf, spa, and more). The staff was friendly. The meeting rooms spacious. The rooms are about same as other hotels of this price point and while well decorated they lack that something special required for a true 5-start 'resort' level hotel. Also the restaurants are good but not great. And expect to pay a resort fee ($30) and parking (valet $29 per night plus tip). All that being said, I had a nice stay and would stay again. Its a fine property.

Stayed from Sept 27 — Oct 2. We had a great time, the hotel was excellent, the employees went above and beyond. We were there for a bachelorette party. When we checked in the valet immediately helped us with everything and the bellman Eli was great; brought everything up to our room. We checked into room 615. The check in process was excellent. Franco checked us in and offered us champagne, as well as going above and beyond to show us the bi-level suite we would be staying in from Sept 29 — Oct 2. After checking out of our room we checked into the bi-level on the Friday. It was an easy transfer. We worked with Laura at the front desk, she was great as well, went out of her way to explain any questions we had as well. The bi-level suite we had was amazing. The rooms were clean and immaculate. We ordered room service twice, both experiences were great. The amenities were also amazing. I cannot complain about anything. We will be staying here again. Loved it.

This resort is very nice. We were in town for a conference and were supposed to be at a different location, but a recent hurricane caused the conference to change venues. They honored our original nightly rate, which I'm sure was much cheaper than their normal rate. For what we paid, it was amazing. The pools are beautiful, there is a cool lagoon with paddle boats, hydro bikes, kayaks, etc and there are walking paths on the property as well. Rooms were clean and very contemporary. There is a market, Starbuck's, a couple of restaurants and bars. They are all pricey. I could see Epcot from my balcony and Disney Springs was within walking distance. Staff was friendly and service was great.

Amazing staff and location. They went above and beyond in every aspect, clean and luxurious. Like the pool has a cave you can swim threw to a deeper pool with a water slide and hot tub. Large bathrooms and friendly staff. With free shuttles to the local destinations.

Spectacular complex. Dream Swimming pool with slide for children and adults in a 10 to 18 hours the pool is open 24/7.
It has a beach on the edge of the lake where you can rent canoes and pedal boats. It cannot be used for swimming by crocodiles.

The only cons are that they charge you even for breathing. The parking is paid per day with a fee if you go and you park yourself the car in a parking two blocks from the main entrance and another fee if you use the Vallet parking. It seems to Me an unnecessary measure to charge even when you park your car.
No breakfast included. You pay aside. Or you buy at the market or Starbucks on the ground floor. All expensive. But he's out of trouble. The location DRL hotel is excellent. Midway between Disney and Universal. Closer to the first.
The area has a mini-gastronomic center with a super 24 hours. At the corner of the hotel there are two service stations, one Disney Ticket Center, a MinI outlet and a Disney souvenir shop where the prices are hyper better than any other place.

Great stay for business, no parks this trip. Lovely grounds, spacious, clean accommodations for two adults. Room cleaned at consistent times during our stay. Housekeeping was quite friendly about accommodating requests for extra towels. Front desk (with champs! ) very friendly. Valet and porters super friendly, efficient, and prompt.

The rooms were awesome, the pool was massive and clean and was open 24 hours a day. Being able to use the free bike rentals as well as the rock climbing walls was amazing. At check-in I got a free glass of chardonnay, and all the staff were amazingly nice and helpful. I was here for a business conference but plan on being back with my family within the next 3 months to share it with them.

The hotel was gorgeous, room was beautiful and very comfortable, it had everything we hoped for except a coffee maker. The breakfast buffet looked incredible, but did not taste as good as it looked. For $30 a person I thought it should have been a lot better. We stayed at another regency Hyatt near the convention center and were blown away by how delicious everything was, cypress left a lot to be desired.

Absolutely love this place. Have been at least 5 to 7 times in past 5 years. Excellent customer service by all staff from reservation, to valet, to check in, to pool servers, to bartenders, to housekeeping. Very impressed with cleanliness of all areas. Excellent amenities, worth the extra resort fee. Great food and drinks. Comfortable beds. Amazing views. Will continue to come back.

The Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress is an excellent option when staying in Orlando. The location is perfect for the Disney parks, Universal Studios and other attractions in the Orlando area. The rooms are good, the parking is easy, the pool and amenities are really nice. It is especially nice that the pool is open 24 hours, making it a great place to relax if you are coming back from the parks. I've stayed here multiple times and it has been consistently good everytime.

The resort is beautiful and so relaxing. Everything is esthetically pleasing and the pool is incredible. Walking around the grounds feels like you're in a rain forest. They have a beautiful beach area, however, you can't swim in the water be because there may be crocodiles. But it's beautiful nonetheless. The food is good, expensive, but good. The lobby is a nice area to just hang out, they have a parrot there that will say hi to you when you walk by. There's a nice bar in the lobby to grab a quick cocktail while relaxing. Overall, a fantastic resort to spend time at.

We LOVE this hotel! We had such a great vacation last year that we came back this year. There are so many activities at the hotel that we only left one day for dinner mini golf and dinner out of our 4 day stay. The breakfast buffet is out of this world, the staff is great and the pool area is amazing. They brought a crib to our room so we had everything we needed for our family to be comfortable. This is a great family friendly resort and great for couples as there are multiple pools if you are looking for peace and quiet!

This is a lovely property, as all Hyatt Grand Regency properties are. It's got spacious grounds lots of water sports miniature golf you could spend your whole day here without thinking about going to any of the attractions in Orlando. My only complaint is that it seems that there is a bit of price gouging — items here are more expensive than they would be at any other comparable property. Examples-$8 smoothie from the Starbucks licensee, mostly $25+ entrees in the first line restaurant, not the more expensive one. This is a great place, but know that it is top dollar.

Nice property very large with many activities. The lobby and gardens are well done. The rooms look a tad dated, the bathrooms were nice. Staff was very friendly. Only negative is food prices are pretty high… $55+ for 2 for breakfast buffet and $15 mojito that wasn't good. Besides that would come back for sure.

This resort is beautiful and has so many amenities! I'm here for a conference so unfortunately can't enjoy them all but have gotten to walk the grounds and they are so lovely. I see people paddle boarding and enjoying the gorgeous pool, and golfing. There is a parrot in the lobby to greet you! My room is lovely and overlooks a lake. The conference rooms have all been fantastic and the bar at the hotel is excellent. There is also a great poolside bar. Excellent resort for family or business.

Had a wonderful experience. The property is beautiful, inside and out. The staff was very polite and I would recommend this location to anyone needing a get a way.

The rooms are designed ok but the hotel exterior looks dated. The hotel property is definitely maintained very well and the pool/outside amenities are what makes the hotel. I'm happy I received a discount as I probably wouldn't pay the full price to stay here. *Edited: Service became worse as days passed. Looks like in order to get the best service you need to be a married couple over the age of 40.

Everything about the place is good. Bathrooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. The beds are amazingly comfortable, I have woken up each day with no neck or back pain. The view is amazing and every room has a outdoor deck with access door. The open style of the hotel (for example, the 6 glass elevators) as a whole gives you clear view of all the scenery. Not to mention Disney and universal are very close and a bus service is provided to and from the parks.

Here now for my bday, staff is awesome… rooms are spacious and modern, bathroom inside room is perfect (not being paid to say any of this btw) … here with friends and honestly I will definitely be coming back for another amazing stay… leaving tomorrow and already so satisfied with this place. Thank you hyatt for such an unforgettable experience.

The grounds are impressive and the amenities are plentiful. My check in experience was less than accommodating. I booked one room and got stuck with another. They did well to make good for it but I prefer to get what I expect without complication. The rooms are a bit small and do not match the quality of the grounds. This resort in its prime must have been a site to see. All things considered I would come back to enjoy the pools and water activities. This resort has the potential to be world class but instead is a decent hotel that is great for the right price but not nearly what it could be.

The room was beautiful. We were able to accommodate five people in one room. Two queen beds and a chaise lounge. The front desk associates were very welcoming. Would have to say we will stay again. Very close to Disney. Has all the same amenities as a Disney deluxe resort for a lot less money so you have the extra cash for the things the kids want later. I recommend this place even for just a weekend get away or extended stay. Worth the money, the wecolming glass of champagne was a nice treat also.

AMAZING! My favorite hotel. Can't wait to return. The staff was so friendly, greeting us with champagne and always making sure we were comfortable. The hotel itself is beautiful and clean. The room was so nice and the bathroom was huge. Awesome pool. We ate at the hotel for breakfast, lunch and dinner instead of going out because they have so many options. The bartender at the pool was so friendly. The pool was awesome. No complaints, we absolutely loved our stay!

The hyatt is a gorgeous hotel with pricey but great food (pass on the pizzas but the french onion fondue and sushi are excellent at the Lakehouse). The rooms are really nice and I could stay in the waterfall shower forever! The concierges were also very nice and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel provided many great amenities and recreational activities that were great for a group or family. I absolutely loved the hot tub area and the regency club access. The group I stayed with will never forget the amazing sunset that we saw on the balcony of the club.

Hotel very clean, staff friendly. A bit dated, but well maintained. Customer service desk not very helpful. Asked for early check in (2pm) and was told "not able to promise". Then received an email asking if we wanted to check in as early as 11am! We were already in route and not able to check in early base on what desk told us. Next morning asked for later check out since we couldn't check in early the day before and we're told "they are at operating at maximum capacity, you'll need to vacate the room by 11am". Housekeeping was knocking on our door at 9am. Paid for a full day but couldn't use room for full day… rip off. Apparently we pay for the time it takes for them to turn over the room.

Great hotel. The amenities are awesome! If you don't want to go to the parks, The hotel has so many things to do. Negative experience that we had. We checked out and realize that I left my iPad in the room. We were only an hour away from the hotel and called. We were told that the room has not been cleaned yet so it should still be there. We called back a couple hours later and were informed that the room was clean and there was no iPad in the room.

From beginning to end, Grand Cypress was top notch. The fitness center was very new and clean. The on-site restaurant, Lakehouse, served some very tasty Mahi with my well decorated house salad. The overall property was well — maintained and seemed to have something for everyone including lake rides and a pool cave with ping pong table. The room was was very modern and the walk-in shower was the highlight with oversized shower spout. I also appreciated the sliding glass door with just enough balcony to step out on. Would highly recommend this property and will stay again if in the area.

Very clean rooms and very comfortable. I'd stay here again any day. Very happy with the service. There was some wedding show while I was there, so the line for Starbucks was long. But that's not the hotels fault by any means. The staff handled the amount of people very well.

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms were spacious and very clean. We only stayed one night after being at Universal all day, and thus did not use any of the resorts features nor eat onsite. The location is close to Disney and Universal, and they offer a free shuttle. It is a bit far from the airport, and they charge $22 per person for transportation to the airport, thus for our situation it was more practical to use Uber. Overall it was a 5 start hotel, and I would have rated it such however, I deducted one star as I have never been so rudely and blatantly asked for a tip. It was tacky and distasteful in my opinion, and overall left a bad taste in my mouth about my stay at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress.

This is a nice resort. There are the daily fees but if you have kids, its awesome. The pool (s) are ridiculous not to mention the water slide.

One of the beast resort I have stayed at. The staffs attention to detail was unprecedented. You can easily spend a week just at the resort and would not be able to use all the amenities they have to offer.

Very disappointed. My wife and I have been to this resort many times over the last 30yrs. Our last visit was approx. 10 yrs. Ago. After checking in we began to notice the negative differences from our last stay. $25 dollar/day facility charge. $17 dollar/day to park your car in their parking lot which by the way is not at all that convenient to the hotel, not to mention acreage and space is not an issue with this resort. 4 restaurants down to 3 but one of the 3 was under construction. They have reduced the hot tubs from 3 to 2. Management decided to do pool maintenance which closed off 70% of the pool area-including 1 of the hot tubs for a number of days we were there. I would think having that kind of disruption to the pool and lounging areas at this time of year is rather bad management, the end of January or the beginning of February would have been more appropriate to shut things down. Redone bathrooms have smaller counter space, a sliding bathroom door that acts as a closet door as well with no lock, and a shower stall that leaks water onto the bathroom floor no matter how careful you are. We did find the staff to be friendly and courteous. We would be more apt to overlook the high food and beverage prices had the negatives not been so glaring. It is nowhere near the high class resort it was the many times we were there in the past.

Horrible! I don't mind paying for good services, but this hotel offers everything but good services. The customer service was terrible. I was lectured because I didn't call to say I was arriving at 9am instead of 4pm the day before and I had no luck trying to make her understand I don't make the check in rules, if I can't check in before 4pm it was obvious that I had to make my reservation for the day before so I can have a room upon my arrival that morning. She didn't care and kept on and on and on that I could have lost my room for no show. To top it off, I'm not sure about you, but I hate surprise charges, this is the first time my room charges were not accurate, as the staff introduced me to a $20 "resort fee" per day. Self-parking is $17 and valet $25. I should've paid for valet, as the walking distance to the parking is ridiculous, you would think they would have access to elevators from more than one spot, but no. The room had a shared sliding door for the closet and the bathroom, it was so annoying, you couldn't open the closet and the bathroom and the same time. Expect nothing complimentary on this overpriced hotel, not even continental breakfast, in fact breakfast is over $20 per person and so not worth it. I would call to check shuttle times and would get wrong times so I would end up having to wait another hour for the next shuttle. Oh!

The family and I had a great time here many activities for all ages. Only downside is that we only stayed one night could've easily spent two days here to enjoy all the activities. Will def be returning.

I usually stay at the Hyatt Regency Orlando. I stay there at least four times a year. But for this trip, even my status couldn't bring the guaranteed availability rate down to a decent price so I "settled" for the Hyatt Grand Cyprus, and it was for only for one night. The next night, I was back to the Hyatt Regency Orlando since they had occupancy. While I love the Hyatt Regency Orlando, I don't know anyone's name there despite the fact that I've stayed there a half dozen times. I guess that's what I learned during this trip. The difference between a mega-hotel and a resort is that at a resort, employees are trained to expect that they will see their guests over and over again. They are taught to remember names and faces. For the next trip to Orlando in September, I plan on trying out the Grand Cypress again and renting a car. It'll be a little cheaper (about $10 a night) but if they are as good as this experience, then I'll have a new GOTO Orlando hotel.

Omg. Love love love this place. Don't bother looking elsewhere. I take my family here on vacation every year and we never have to leave. Free fun including: Rock wall Hammocs Paddle boats Kyacks n canoes Sand Volleyball area Bike rides Water slide Multiple pools with lazy river Grotto hot tub and out door hot tub Always doing events for the kids, hula hoop contests, water balloon toss, movies in the pool, free snow cones… on and on and on. Macaw in the entrance and over and above friendly staff. I can't say enough about the grand cypress.

Awesome me and my family stayed there for a whole week and nothing but greatness after the next amazing pool, modern, great little gift shops, good clean and comfortable beds. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Beautiful place. Just going to this hotel and not leaving is a vacation in itself. The pools, volleyball, and lake give you lots of things to do!

Was recently there for a great conference called WorkHuman. The hotel staff was professional, courteous, and prompt. Food was above average for hotels and great facility for a conference with plenty of space and facilities. Will return.

We provided video production and photos for a workshop at their venue. It is a pretty large venue, but the staff there all are great. They make sure you know where you're going and make sure everyone is OK. One of their employees even offered to assist transporting equipment to one of their conference rooms. Great customer service in such a wonderful venue.

We enjoyed the watersports. The paddle boats were great! The bike trails were great too. Tons of activities to enjoy for the whole family.

This Hotel is the best Hyatt stay so far! The staff, food, room and grounds are phenominal! They have great amenities! We'll be returning for sure.

I stayed here while I was attending the Enterprise Connect conference at the nearby Gaylord Palms resort. The room was not ready when I checked in at 6pm and I had to wait another 45 mins. Bare this in mind as this place gets very busy during conference season. However, the hotel is very nice and the room was fine with a good view of the lake. The staff are excellent and Hemmingways is strongly recommended for dinner. There is a shuttle bus to the airport which you have to book in advance but is half the price of a taxi.

The rooms are spectacular, very beautiful, the hotel very nice attention perfect establishments too good.

This resort is outstanding from the staff, rooms, and Amenities. Yes some stuff is a little pricey but in the end it is worth it. This is definetley a place for children.

Excellent staff and clean were superb also they have black car service to drive you around instead of stinky taxis.

This is such a nice hotel. Everything is so beautiful and the staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and as if all your needs are met. I particularly appreciate that they put up a menorah at the same time they put up their Christmas tree. In this city, that level of thoughtfulness is rare and very special.

Very nice hotel. Management customer service is very bad. I have been told three times I would be called back and have yet to receive that call. At first after staying here I was thinking of looking at adding Hyatt to my search when I look for places to stay instead of just Hilton brand hotel's but I guess not. If I don't even deserve a call back, they don't deserve my reservation.

Horrible I wanted breakfast 10 minutes before they stoped serving it we talked to one of the staff that said "Yea you can still get breakfast just talk to that lady right there" we went to her and she said no no we no have it any more. Worse is she only spoke spanish and tried to pass us on to the lunch menu. Probably because she didn't want to seat us. Anyway you should look for a different place im sure the disney resorts will treat you wayyyy more better than this stuck up place. Come on 15$ for drinks and every food item is at least 20$ or more and that is just for a simple burger and fries. Like come on I stayed at all the disney resorts and there not even that overpriced.

Just left the Grand Cypress today and describing the place as beautiful is not good enough. This place is absolutely breathtaking in every way. The grounds, the pool, the restaurants everything absolutely breathtaking. We had a wonderful experience from the airport all the way back to the airport on the fifth day. If you're taking a cab from the airport, by all means ask for Jason with Mears Taxi service. You will know him by his British accent he is a great guy who is very trust worthy. When you go by the pool area for some vacation beverages ask for Christina, she is serious about her job, and she does it with a smile. We enjoyed our stay in every way possible, and will most certainly be coming back again.

Maybe I expect too much but there should be no dust on the phone or on top of the ceiling of the bed.
Furthermore I ecpect the room to be cleaned EVERY day.
No Hyatt standard.

An extraordinary hotel to the family and friends my we love, but I recommend it widely.

So disappointing! No Hyatt quality. Nice room, good breakfast quality. Most of the staff are so apathetic one.
they all want money from you. Lot of money. Breakfast buffet for 2:53 $, this is $5 + tax for a Cappuccino.
At check-in, the receptionist aggressive trying to sell upgrades.
The desk clerk pay reminiscent of the tip.
You pay per room extr $22 resort fee (for the pool! ), as well as $11 for the Park.
At breakfast, we had to wait up to half an hour, sometimes sat at a dirty table cloth. The waiter pours orange juice and makes a great spot here. He overlooks it generously.
The cleaning lady is the A/C on their own on freezing.
You can argue if you need it, all with incompetent employees.
There are also a few exceptions like Mina or Cornelia.
Conclusion: Nice room, beautiful, but evil rip off everywhere.
Very bad.
