I am an R. N. That must travel frequently. I never stay anywhere else in the Kissammee/Orlando area. I had stayed there several times before the Pandemic and fell in love with the rooms. Location cleanliness… and ALL the employees! My first time checking in Sue made me feel like I was home! Talk about hospitality! Everyone so friendly and helpful. Chuck Martin bent over backwards to accommodate me and my husband. I really felt like a V. I. P. And can't wait to go back. I was there September 1st. Our Wedding Anniversary. Chuck really rolled out the red carpet! Check it out. I promise you will be just as happy!

This has been one of the best value hotels we have ever stayed at and we’ve been visiting for many years. The price is fantastic and the staff and owner were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms aren’t huge, but we didn’t spend our vacation in the sun confined in the room so it was perfect for us. The beds were made and fresh towels were stocked every day. The breakfast is very basic, essentially what you might get at home (cereal, toast, bagels, toaster waffles etc) but when we wanted a change we went for Denny’s or McDonalds. Beds are very comfortable and the air conditioning works perfectly. The pool is relatively private and cool and refreshing on hot days. Not many plug ins so maybe bring something to deal with that, but again If you’re here to enjoy the sun it isn’t a bother. Will definitely be staying here again.

Chuck and his staff have always provided for our every need. We have stayed at Destiny Palms for almost 8 years and will continue to make this our home away from home when in the area. Rooms are clean and facilities are well cared for. Close to parks and shopping.

Horrible place and very dirty don’t stay here.

The is a older hotel but it is clean. If you’re looking for a place to stay for a couple of nights while visiting Animal Kingdom on a budget, this is a decent place. The breakfast is very basic. Toast, bagels and pancakes. No fruit. However a McDonalds is next door and other eating options are very near.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Just spent 3 nights there. The rooms were amazing. Clean and comfortable. And the staff. Was TOP notch … we even bought them back popcorn from Disney. Can't wait for our next stay… Highly recommended!

Very cozy and good location and like.

2 little bottles of conditioning shampoo, 2 little bars of bath soap, and one larger but still tiny hand soap. Kids running around the bottom floor and being obnoxious very close to the desk in the morning and nothing was done. The free breakfast was all frozen waffles/pancakes or cereal. Strange ring in the shower. Bathroom door didn’t lock. Just one small trash can in the bathroom for the entire room.
Staff was friendly enough but all things considered, I think next time I’ll find a different place to stay.

This is my go to hotel when I travel to Orlando. The beds are amazing please never get rid of them lol. The staff is amazing and very accommodating. Plus this hotel is cheap as heck and you get McDonald’s right in front of it and a great nights sleep. No bugs, no dirty rooms, no bed bugs, roaches, mold, nothing. Just a peaceful and nice experience.

This place is awesome the staff is very friendly and helpful and the owner is very much involved with his hotel! He makes sure you have everything you need to make it an enjoyable experience!

Great staff, clean rooms but the breakfast has only cereal and waffles with butter or marmalade. No cheese, no jam, no eggs or bacon. Everything is good, but please, get a better breakfast. Definitely I’ll go again.

This was a nice hotel. It is a great value, quiet, and simple hotel. The check in process was smooth and easy. The room and bathroom was clean. In the morning there is breakfast right next to the lobby area (toast, bagels, coffee, orange juice). There are several restaurants close by with a couple withing walking distance. Overall my stay here was pleasant and look forward to staying here again in the near future next time I am in the area.

We stayed here at the recommendation of a friend and originally were going to stay June 29-July 1st but we checked out early. The room was clean but a bit cramped and it had a mildew or musty smell to it. My husband's allergies got so bad in the room his eyes were red. And the room the rep offered us instead had the same smell to it. The shower didn't work right either. I wouldn't recommend families with toddlers stay here. If you are just looking for a cheap place to sleep and don't have allergy issues then you would be good staying here. Also the cereal was stale at the continental breakfast. The front desk rep Kaitlyn was very nice and tried to accommodate us… not her fault the rooms were musty…

Clean room but a little small. Great night sleep in the bed! Staff is very nice but talked up the breakfast way too much! Was expecting something a lot nicer than you walked in to! If you like Eggos that you have to make then you'll love it, but that's the highlight of the breakfast. Also the rest of the guests are so incredibly rude during breakfast that they might run you down to get to a toaster. I recommend the stay just don't go down for breakfast!

I absolutely enjoyed my stay there. The customer service was outstanding and the room was extremely comfortable. I would stay there again in a heartbeat! I highly recommend this hotel without reservation.

The staff is nice and friendly. The pool is a bit small and closed at dusk. Rooms are newly remodeled or in the process. Continental breakfast was lacking but was better than nothing. I enjoyed the over all stay none the less.

My favorite hotel from now on. Great beds, quiet, I felt cared for cleaning ladies would come in and make my bed and change the sheets and I'd come to a neat comfy room. I have absolutely nothing negativo say about my experience here I stated about 4 days it was great wish I could come back soon.

Nice motel, very good service. The breakfast lacks protein and quickly becomes boring because repetitive from one day to the next. The room smells of moisture if one does not put air conditioning or heating, but it is very comfortable and quite large.

The price I got for this room online was exceptional. Was not sure what I was doing to find until I got there. I was very pleased. Was nice. Room was nice and clean. Even checked it with my UV light. Continental breakfast had enough to get you started for the day. Didn't have any fruit though. The room was made up everyday nicely.

I booked this hotel a month ahead for my trip to Animal Kingdom. I stayed 2 nights. Price was good. Comfortable beds. Clean room as expected. Located just 9 minutes away from the park. Excellent costumer service… Nice people and willing to help. Thank you Destiny Palm Hotel.

This hotel has all the basic needs for a nice stay while visiting Disney parks. The beds are comfortable and room are clean. The service desk is helpful and friendly.

This hotel is clean but extremely outdated with ripped floors. Bed was comfortable however there was a mix up and I has to share a king size bed with my husband and 3 kids. I was livid I even confirmed I was getting a 2 bed room a few days before. I go to check in and they said no we don't have any rooms available. We also were locked out of our room because my son got a bloody nose due to change in temp from where we live. The manager discreetly asked to speak with me outside about if there was anything concerning going on in my room. I will not stay here again.

Hopefully you add more choices for breakfast likes eggs, bacon and sausage. I think this is the only thing missing in breakfast and everything is good.

Very well located to go to the parks of Disnel and its cost is very good.

My family and I have stayed at Destiny Palms many times for over 8 years. Always quiet, safe, plenty of free parking and friendly/helpful staff. Minutes away from anything you might need and only 4 miles to Disney World! Highly recommended!

Well this place has good aspects and bad ones. Since people read reviews to see what's wrong with a place let's start with the bad… the rooms have no soundproofing or so it seems. You can hear everything from inside your room. The rooms are small but it is not too small. If you stay here do NOT let them out you in a room by the stairs at the end that lead outside. It was so incredibly noisy and the door is super loud. I mean very loud. The free breakfast is cereal and frozen waffles or pancakes that you hear up. On our second day the manager was in the hallway throwing a fit and yelling at people, when we went downstairs he was screaming a belittling the staff and threatening to fire people. Whether they deserved it or not. You do not do that in Front of clients or customers. Now the good… the bed is super comfy. We loved it. The pillows too. They have different types such as soft and firm. It is really close to restaurants and fast food. It is about 5 — 10 minutes away from Disney world and 20-30 min from Universal and Islands of Adventure. The staff was incredible. So nice and willing to accommodate any need you have. They are polite and friendly and will help you with whatever you need. All in all it is not a bad place to stay.

So the best thing first: The staff are consistently friendly and helpful!
The rooms are small and come in the years. The shower cubicle is made of full plastic, the faucet is difficult to adjust, the water is warm. The pool is unkempt and cloudy. The breakfast below average for American conditions. The breakfast room with eight tables too small. But also the staff are friendly and anxious for cleanliness. For an overnight stay okay, there won't be a repeat.

Very friendly staff. Was accommodated by allowing us to check in early, so bonus points to that. Can't fault the hotel on anything except the small washrooms, I prefer my sinks in the same room. Breakfast was mediocre but better than nothing. And rooms were always clean and fresh, kudos to the cleaning staff. Overall I was very satisfied with this hotel and will recommend to all that ask for suggestions.

The Hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It has a very spacious garage around the hotel and several shops very close by. It has frigobar and microwaves that come very well.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel for a week. We came down to Florida to go to Disney World. Booked the stay over a year in advance. When we got there, the lobby seemed fine, the eating area looked a little small, but we weren’t really going to be seeing much of that. When we got to our room, it looked okay. However, the first night, we found a huge pile of hair in the sheets. Not wanting to deal with it, since we dove over 10 hours and then went to Downtown Disney all in the same day, we just wanted to sleep, so my boyfriend dealt with it. The longer we stayed there, the more problems we noticed. The fan in the bathroom was way too loud, and it sounded like a dying mechanical animal. It turned on when you turned the light on, so it was a huge problem. The lights in the room would flicker. The doors and walls are essentially paper-thin, as you can hear every little noise in the hallway and the surrounding rooms. They use bath towels to “mop up” water outside in the stairwells. You will need to bring your own shampoo and conditioner, since the stuff they provide is complete crap. Do not use any toothpaste the give you either, as the one we received was already one year expired. We requested that our sheets be changed, since we spilled something on part of the sheet. We slept in the following day since it was New Years day and we didn’t get back to our room until 2:00am.

Close to the Disney parks. Friendly staff. Clean room, a bit tiny. Breakfast is very simple, but it is included. Rate is very low. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

Great value for the the money and very close to Disney World. We felt safe the entire time and it was conveniently close to to everything else you could imagine. The rooms are a little outdated but otherwise clean. Staff very friendly. Bagels, toast, waffles or cereal for breakfast was fine for my family. I'd stay here again.

Excellent price and location, just 10-15 min from any Disney park. The accommodations were perfectly clean and acceptable. The room included a fridge and a microwave. Nothing super fancy, but zero complaints. It's the perfect spot to lay your head between busy park days. I'll be happy to return again.

No, it's not a five star hotel. But if you're looking for somewhere cheap, clean, and comfortable… That's what you get here. My fiance and I stayed here for 2 nights during our Disney trip. It was perfect for just us two. Breakfast is bagels, waffles and juice. Nope, not an amazing meal, but it's free. Overall, staying here saved us a good chunk of money and it was exactly what we expected. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms have a mini fridge AND microwave. So you can definitely heat up leftovers or something.

We stayed here when visiting a family friend in the area. The hotel is cozy, and it is closer to many things, however there were some things that need to be addressed. Maintenance is something that clearly needs more focus. There is some noticeable neglect. I had two rooms, and the security lock on one of the doors was almost competent inoperable. The door handle on one of the bathrooms was loose and in the shower the faucet handle needed a screw tightened. Some of our towels were dirty. There were some stains on them. Needless to say, those towels were not used. The beds are EXTREMELY noisy. The base is made of metal, and the springs amplify all movement. It was difficult to get a restful night. The staff is very friendly and efficient, but unfortunately that does translate to the maintenance.

Staying here For Hurricane Irma since my power is out. But this is my favorite hotel anyway. Staff is always friendly rooms are nice, and location is perfect. Great place to stay.

So we were desperate for a hotel since hurricane Irma split a tree in front of our rental property and nearly killed us plus managed to land on power lines. We had no power and running out of food. We called and got a room about 40 miles away from our home. They have been wonderful here. Courteous and caring from the front desk to the house keepers. The front desk gave us a pack of water when they heard or story and have been adamant about helping us since. The room was not huge but had everything we needed. It's easy to get in and out with three entrances that I have seen so far. The hotel is within waking distance of a 7-11, two fast food restaurants and a flea market. There are more but it's farther then a short walk.

Basic, but exactly what we needed. Free high speed internet, free parking, customer service was great, bagels coffee and juice were perfect start to the day. They have a cold vending machine and a snacks one too. Will definitely use this place again when visiting my sister.

Stayed here many times. Very nice. Quiet. Close to restaurants, gas, grocery, and Disney. Breakfast is toast, bagels, premade pancakes and waffles, cereal, instant oatmeal, coffee and juice. Bring cream cheese if you want it for your bagel. Great price. Great location.

Pee on toilet seat, stain on blanket, etc. Staff initially was helpful but there was a change of shift. Due finding more cleanliness issues with the room being dirty we check out within 2-3 hours. We were refused a refund for the day. The front desk attendant was very irritible and unwilling to help. She told us to call the online booking service I used instead of directly dealing with her. We weren't offered another room. We left after midnight and were unable to book another room. We ended up having to sleep in our car till the next day after driving 16 hours that day. Both my wife and I have been missionaries and are used to less than standard living conditions. But the cleanliness issue was too much for us. Maybe other rooms there are better.

Very good hotel with a cheap price! It was perfect for our vacations to Walt Disney world. Rooms are very greats. Breakfast is small but acceptable. Great staff also. I would come back anytime with no hesitation!

Just got back from my third stay at this hotel, and it gets better every time. The Management and staff are excellent and attentive to specific needs of individual guests. The hotel is ideally situated for visiting all areas of Central Florida, and the staff have plenty of suggestions for places to visit if you don't want to go the theme parks every day. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Florida. John (UK)

Our family stayed at Destiny Palms Hotel for two weeks in March 2016. The staff greeting us for check-in was very friendly and courteous and always helpful when we asked for directions or advice on a place to eat or a destination. Chuck, the GM at the hotel checked in with us almost daily as we were coming or going and asked how we were enjoying our stay. The hotel was always clean and well kept inside and out. The daily breakfast was a great savings for our family and the staff were always quick to replenish anything that was a popular choice. The hotel was conveniently located to all parks and restaurants and only an hours drive to Cocoa Beach. Hotel parking was spacious, free and very accessible. We booked our stay through Expedia and were more than happy with our rate and most importantly, our stay at Destiny Palms! We would not hesitate to book here again!

Check in was easy. The greeters wher helpful. The room was ok, a few updates are needed and a litte more space. We where on the first floor and could hear the washer and dryer run. The coffee was nice. Nice location.

For the money you just cant beat it nice very clean and up dated. Very comfortable beds awesome room for the price.

Good location and close to the disney parks!

There's a general trend throughout the establishment of things that are reaching the end of there usable life. The AC was noisy, dirty and damaged. There was basically no Wi-Fi reception in my room and the breakfast was really basic. Not really a horror story but definitely far from perfect.

My wife and I really love this hotel. They give us great rates with breakfast included. The staff are always friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the crappy tv's they have in the rooms. The sound is horrible and the remotes do not work. Everything is fine.

The hotel is a great value! Rooms are clean and beds are comfy! The staff is nice and the breakfast is more than satisfying. I've stayed here many times and the owner works the hotel himself too, you will often find him joking with guests at breakfast. There is also a pool which I hear is pretty decent, I've never personally used it though. The only downside is that the Wi-Fi is slow at most times.

The room was quiet, clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff was great. Our window didn't lockand when we told the staff, they were great about it. It was a good value for the price. No frills. Beware of the guy selling something in the lobby — it might have been coupon books. I didn't let him stop me so I'm not sure.
