Great spot in the center of it all. Great lounge with music. Charming and fun! Great Cuban restaurant inside place. Really a great spot.

Very comfortable suites. The staff was great. Within walking distance to all downtown.

My fiancé and I just had the most amazing experience there when we came into town for wedding this past Valentine’s Day weekend. I have to say that the bed was the most comfortable night’s sleep I’ve ever gotten. Any chance you can tell me what kind of mattress that was? I love to purchase one for our home. Also we will definitely be coming back, as well as telling our friends and family about our stay.

Just stayed there last night and it was ok but underwhelming. The bed was decent and the decor was cute. Staff was lacking though. Called the front desk this morning to ask for more coffee as we only had enough in our room for 1 cup and there were 2 of us. The desk woman at 8am said, ‘Housekeeping will be around at 9 and you can find them and ask them for it’ We waited 45 minutes for them to bring us coffee and never got it. It’s the ONLY thing we asked for at all from staff. The shower was room temperature when it was turned all the way to “hot”. The air conditioning was making a horrible whining sound all night. The staff could have been more responsive to bring coffee when I asked nicely as opposed to telling me to wait an hour. Other than that, it was ok.

Beautiful Place, friendly staff and clean rooms!

The hotel staff we encountered were helpful and polite. The hotel itself is well maintained, beautiful, & conveniently located to lots of downtown dining and shopping, including the Lounge and Cuban restaurant in the same building. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet.

Fantastic place for locals to hang out and visitors to feel like they belong. Always a good time at The Lounge!

Such a lovely and quaint hotel. The room was very clean and amazing with many special touches and amenities. There is also a bar lounge and attached cafe serving delicious Cuban food. I will most definitely be returning.

We got the last room for the night and we were glad. First, we found that the heat and air was broken. An attendant came up, fiddled with the remote and said, yes, it’s broken. Called us back and said maintenance wouldn’t be coming in to fix it, sorry, would you like an extra blanket? Yes please, the forecast was for 37 degrees that night. Next the toilet roll holder fell off the wall and the Wi-Fi was very weak.
That’s enough to put me off for our next stay in Deland.

At the Artisan you are treated like family. The cozy lounge is warm and welcoming to all. The beautifully appointed suites are comfortable and the hotel is a convenient walk to all historic downtown shops, restaurants, bars and festivals.

Forty-five minutes for a cold appetizer. Then another 25 minutes or so waiting for the rest of the meal. The main courses were served about 20 minutes apart, several of us (there were 6) were finished eating before the others ever got their food. Someone came out a said "I'll make it right. " I wasn't charged for the entree, it was billed on my sister's check. Not a pleasant experience at all. I won't be back.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Wonderful staff! Very accommodating. We’ve had a great time here! The bar tender makes a fabulous Bloody Mary.

WOW! I am in town for work, and I am so glad to have come across this gem! Beautiful! Historically beautiful. Some reviews said it was a little outdated, and I disagree. That is not the word I would use. Historical is the best word. Most important, it is clean! There is also a Lounge-Bar where I recieved excellent service from Liberty. Lots to do nearby. My Jr. Sweet was so spacious for one person. My only regret is not knowing about this great place sooner. I booked on Hotels. Com's app, and got a steal! I will definitely be back!

Ate lunch in the Grill. Very poor service and way to slow for a lunch meal. The food was just ok. Would not eat here again.

Booked for my son and his bride after their wedding in a venue at De Leon Springs Florida. They outdid themselves, the newlyweds were over the moon. Special thanks for the over the top attention and sweet natures.

Rooms are large, and beautiful. Great experience. And each room is different, but all are packed with great decor and quaint surprises. Awesome location as well.

My fiancé and I had a really lovely stay at the Artisan Downtown. We were in town for a friend's wedding, and just booked a one-night stay. When we realized that we were going to need to leave about 30 minutes after check-in to head to the ceremony, we panicked. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, and allowed us to check-in and head straight to our room when we arrived about an hour early. The room was clean and comfortable and check-out was painless the next day. Thank you, Artisan Downtown!

We stopped by the Artisan for drinks but ended up having a wonderful lunch also. The bartender was very friendly and quick with his service. Our food was absolutely delicious. The entire hotel bar and restaurant was very clean. Consider us fans of the Artisan Downtown.

Made reservations for my son and his new wife after their ceremony. They went above and beyond to make the room and newlyweds special and happy. Really delighted I found them and the newlyweds absolutely loved it.

We had a very good experience with the Artisan Downtown! We booked the majority of the rooms for our wedding last weekend and all of our guests remarked on how nice and spacious the rooms were! They were also given vouchers for breakfast downstairs at the Artisan Grill, which was a nice bonus. It is also right across the street from some downtown shopping and other restaurants, which is super convenient for those guests who flew in and didn't have cars to travel around in between wedding events. :)

I am very pleased with our stay at the Artisan Downtown. We were in town for a wedding and stayed for two nights. The location is absolutely charming and has wonderful staff on site willing and able to help with any need that may arise. If I'm ever in the area again I would definitely make it a point to stay here.

Has great service and nice room's along with a place to go and enjoy the locals and company in the restaurant downstairs or you are located in downtown where you can find some day or night life when you walk out the hotel and restaurant.

Staff is very accommodating. Room is well done and within walking distance to anything.

The building is clean and the food is delicious, if not a little pricey.

Food was excellent! We had steaks and bang bang shrimp (totally amazing! ) Stephanie was our server and she was on par 100%. Prices are very reasonable. If you have the filet mignon ask for some horseradish, so good! It was a fabulous date night!

Nice, clean rooms in a great location to walk around downtown. I've stayed before and I'll stay again.

My boss took us here to eat. I had the chicken salad sandwich and fries. The chicken salad was very good but the bread was a tad bit rubbery. The fries are so good! The waiter was very poliet and knew the menu. The restaurant itself was very well kept and clean. I'll go back for sure but will pick a different type of bread.

Don't take your family to Chili's you need to come here the food is exceptional and the services incredible.

What a cute place to stay in Deland. I would stay there again in a heartbeat but next time I hope to go for vacation not work. The hotel is in the historic district so you can walk to all the neat shops and restaurants. Very clean any only 8 suites with friendly staff. Better deal then any big name hotel!

A neat little boutique hotel in a great location that is walking distance to most of the attractions of downtown DeLand — shopping, restaurants, and bars. The staff was great, the rooms nicely appointed, and relatively large considering it's a small boutique hotel with only 8 rooms.

Loved it, French toast was super unique and quite tasty. My date had the blackened chicken with bacon and I tried a bite, best food I've had in a very long time. Wait staff was excellent!

Excellent dinner we just had and will definitely be coming back! My husband had your steak special with shrimp which was cooked to perfection! I had the macaroni and cheese seafood dish and my word… it was so filling I brought 1/2 home. Service was exceptional, and the atmosphere is wonderful!

Beautiful room, easy walking distance to main downtown area, very friendly staff, clean room, spacious bathroom. Welcome package with juice & snack bars very nice touch. Only negative, bed was very uncomfortable — husband & I both woke up with back aches.
