This was our first time staying at Perry's and it did not disappoint! The 2 main highlights of our stay at Perry's were the homemade donuts every morning and the Tiki bar. (Seriously… go to the tiki bar and see Ernie for great drinks and even better conversation! ) We can't wait to come back to Perry's in the summer!

What a lovely resort with such beautiful, breathtaking views! I’ve got nothing but nice things to say about Perry’s! I am highly impressed with the front desk staff. My family and I have traveled here from CT, spent over 22 hours straight on the road. We arrived at Perry’s around 6am and was trying to get an early check in. I was told I was unable to be accommodated due to being sold out, but when I explained my situation and told the lady at the desk I’ve got two littles with me, she did everything she could to find an available room, and she happily
accommodated us. I can’t wait until next years vacation! I’m so glad I found this place! I now found my new vacation destination!

Right on the beach, two outside pools and one inside. Friendly staff. The only one thing I didn’t like was that the air conditioner was very dusty. I asked them to come clean it as I have allergies. They never showed up for that, so I cleaned it myself. But I asked for towels and they brought them right away.
The rooms are nice tho.

Great stay! I read some of these negative comments and was skeptical about our stay… but I am glad we took the chance to stay here. It was family friendly and my three kids, 9, 5 and 2, had an amazing time. The outdoor pools were not heated, but luckily during our stay it was about 80 degrees so they warmed up quickly. Also a plus was the kiddie pool for my 2 year old. The indoor pool was heated and the hot tub was huge and wonderful. You can not beat the views. We stayed in one of the oceanfront kid suites and the only thing I would change would be a door to the kids' room. There was not a door to separate the kids room from the living room area and that was a bit disappointing and strange because it was hard to be quiet while our youngest two slept. Otherwise, though we found the hotel room to be clean. The housekeeper only came once during our 5 day stay which was disappointing as well, but we called and requested towels when needed. Also, due to absolutely no fault of the hotel staff, there were some teenagers left unsupervised a few times in the indoor pool, who were being pretty rough and rowdy… to the point I had to leave with my children because they were screaming and swearing and throwing each other and objects into the pool. Not sure where their parents were but when I asked them to please stop being so rough around my 2 year old daughter multiple times, and they refused to listen, I went to the hotel from desk.

This place is dirty and disgusting! In no ways like the pictures! Everything stunk! They refunded half of the first nights stay bc room wasn’t ready. Every dish I pulled out of the cupboards had dried food on them. Huge stain on the kitchen chair didn’t want to spend anytime in the room! Pool was not heated! Walls paper thin neighbors were awfully loud. The restaurant was closed for 2 days no staff. No exercise room which was advertised. Beach was steps from our room which was the only plus. Could not find another available hotel or we would have left. I don’t need luxury in vacation just a clean place to lay my head. Don’t waste your money!

Stayed just 1 night. Room was nice. Only downside is that the shower doesn’t drain as fast so your shower kind of fills up. Not the end of the world though. Would definitely stay again.

Our second night at the resort was unbearable. We had extremely noisy neighbors until the early hours. The front desk seemed annoyed every time I called. There was no solution or any type of refund or compensation for the trouble.

I love this resort it's so clean and the staff is nice and very helpful. My last visit was my birthday I stayed in the new remodel towers was so comfy and beautiful I had a wonderful time thanks to Miss Michelle in the office.

The room was musty They were cockroaches everywhere I went with my service dog and one of the cleaning ladies said I don’t know why people bring these disgusting animals here make sure you change the sheets in that room that lady is disgusting.

Not family friendly. Parents please read so you know what to expect.
While they have pretty awesome amenities and it looks great here’s the truth.
When we first arrived and walked down to the beach there were multiple rooms that have the smell of marijuana coming from it.
The sidewalks, bushes and pools have trash everywhere, more specifically beer bottles/cans and cigarette butts.
The pools are great up until about 4pm when what the management claims are locals or the “new characters due to the stimulus package” take over. The first time we went to the indoor pool around 8pm and the party had already started. 6-8 younger kids had a liquor bottle they passed around and their 2 cases of white claw, their music was blaring with no filter for younger kids and then one of the boys thought they would turn around from the hot tub and pee right on the pool equipment. It was absolutely disgusting. I went to the front desk and the gentleman called an employee to address the issue. My husband was down at the pool the entire time and he said not once did the gentleman even enter the pool area. That’s where I spoke with another guest that said the partiers were offering their kids shots. I went back to the office to let them know nothing had changed and to see if a manager was available. They weren’t so I waited for the morning.

Spent a week there, and absolutely loved it. Staff was great, and price was very reasonable.

My family are at Perry's right now for Daytona speed week and the view is jaw dropping from ourn5th floor ocean view room. concierge team are wonderfully helpful, the location is a short drive from everything and I won't want to leave tomorrow.

This is our 4th year coming to Perry’s. This is our tradition that we have started. We have made some great friendships. The staff is always friendly, rooms are extremely clean, love the beach views. Keep up the great work Perry’s. We will see you soon.

Me and my family stayed here for the first time this year for a week! The rooms are very clean and spacious, beautiful view of the sunrise and even seen a dolphin one morning! Very nice and courteous staff! The donuts are amazing so make sure to try them out! We will definitely be staying here anytime we are visiting Daytona!

Can’t say enough good things about Perry’s! The room, the staff, the location, the VIEW! We will definitely stay here again if we visit Daytona Beach in the future. Their package plan with Allegiant Air is excellent!

Facility very clean, staff knowledgeable and friendly. Three pools on the premises two outside one inside. Laundry on-site, BBQ Pits and tons of loungers and outside picnic tables. Tiki bars open from 11 until last call and there is a free continental breakfast every morning. Putt putt golf and shuffleboard. Private access to the beach. Free parking for patrons though parking is very limited. Children's activity everyday. Great place for families. Perry's will be our go to beach place in the future.

We have been staying at Perry's for 45 years. They have recently done much needed upgrades to the north tower and are still have more to do but rooms really nice, with new stove, beds, flooring, dressing area. Staff very friendly. There is a small cafe (Mango Cafe) next door that serves delicious breakfast and lunch. Will be back next year!

Really liked staying here. Friendly staff and nice comfortable room, bed, and pillow. Right on the ocean and several pools including a heated one inside. Breakfast was homemade delicious donuts with juice, coffee, etc. A great place to be on the ocean. Good price too!

Old and rundown place. Bug in the dresser drawer. Hair on pillow from previous guest. Mildew/mold in bathroom. Stuck kitchen drawers. Ceiling paint was chipping and full of dust. Door had crack and dirty. We were given another room that was better. However, the front desk staff did not communicate with each other and deactivated our room key and gave to another incoming guest. To our surprise, the incoming guest was opening our room door late at night. In the new room, though better, the bathroom sink retained water in the middle and did not drain since the entire sink was sloped forward from guests leaning on it over time.

This isn't really a review but I grew up at Perry's Ocean Edge. Every Christmas my family went down which started when I was 6 till I was 14. Which is 1972-1980. And I visited the area again in 2003 and found Perry's was still there but sign on curved building and all. Heading to Florida again and looked it up wondering if it's still in the same. And it's awesome they still have the donuts for breakfast making me wonder if it's the same family that owns it. It was always a GREAT place for us.

We have been going to Perrys now 35+ years. It is a great family place for all ages. Recently the north tower has been remodeled. Every room has been given a facelift with all new furniture, kitchen appliances, TV etc. All the ocean view room's give a spectacular view to the beach area and ocean. They have their own homemade donuts available from 7 AM to 10 AM each morning. Service at the front desk is very good with friendly people to assist you.

Love this hotel, my family stays here every year for a week in the summer and never cease to amaze me. The staff is so nice, they are beginning to upgrade their rooms and the newly upgraded ones are very nice. The view and grounds are spectacular. Would recommend this to everyone.

We've been coming to Perry's since I was little and have always enjoyed it until our last trip over the 4th of July holiday. We stayed for 2 nights on the bottom floor and our room keys only worked 1/2 the time, the floor was filthy and the room was never cleaned… We also had fruit flies?!? … We've always enjoyed the heated indoor pool and on this go around it was freezing! The pools also needed some cleaning… To top it off my sandals were taken while I was in the pool and my husband's sunglasses were stolen by the indoor pool.

My family spent Monday, July 2nd — Friday, July 6th at Perry's and had a wonderful family vacation. The rooms were clean and comfortable, even the beds! We were blessed with rooms 110 & 111, and we were able to walk right out and sit on the patio each morning and watch the sun come up. The staff were all kind, friendly, and helpful which only added to the loveliness of our vacation. What especially struck me was that I felt as though I had stepped back in time. Perry's seems to be family-friendly and "old school. " I suppose with the history that it has, it is no wonder! Bottom line, I would recommend Perry's to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing family vacation. I cannot wait to go back! :D.

Had a nice extended weekend at this wonderful low key unpretentious resort. I stayed in a very nice newly renovated oceanfront efficiency with a huge balcony. My room was very large, clean and had a full kitchen with all necessary utensils. Grocery and liquor store were right across the street. Staff here were very nice and attentive. Would have given 5 stars but the elevator was a bit scary and the stairs had some mold issues.

My family has been going to Perrys for 30+ years and have always had a wonderful time. It is a very family-friendly hotel, right on the beach, several pools — a no-frills getaway! The north tower is a bit pricier but the rooms are larger and have recently undergone a nice modern makeover. And of course, the donuts!

Brilliant location right on the beach. Rooms were huge and clean with a kitchen, fitted with a fridge and microwave. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Supermarket right across the road. With a ihop next door. Plenty of places to buy gifts within walking distance and a short 10 minute drive to a lot of attractions. Free parking included with the room lots of space to park. Overall 10/10 really happy with the stay.

Disappointing. I read nothing but good reviews about this place online and was looking forward to a nice, relaxing weekend with my boyfriend. Instead we arrived and discovered this "resort" to be very dated and very noisy. The pictures online of course do not reflect how dated this rooms and buildings are. We were woken up around 7am to the sound of doors slamming, children running around, housekeeping vacuuming the rooms above of us, and not to mention there was also construction going on. The only upside is that the hotel is right on the beach so we had a great view of the ocean and were able to walk right down and enjoy a day on the beach. The free coffee and donuts weren't bad either. Overall, we won't be back. Spend the extra money and stay in a real resort up the street.

By far the worst hotel I have stayed at. The rooms were dirty and they smelled like mildew. Our room was not cleaned because the head of housekeeping quit. Is that my fault? Should I have to pay the price for that? What I mean by that is, we didn’t get clean towels or a trash bag and let’s not forget toilet paper. After walking to the front desk twice and calling three times to get toilet paper someone showed up banging at my door with one roll. Did I mentioned we had 5 people in our room? And yes I did walk across the street to get some as I was not going to have the same problem again! Our kitchen blind was broken so it could only stay up, so when the sun came up it would hit you dead in your face. The bathroom lights two out of three were out. The closet doors off track. Just a great mess I had in my room! My parents room likewise the ceiling fan should have been white however it was so dirty it looked grey! Their bathroom lights, two were off as well. The bathroom vanity was hanging by a screw. There were also very poor lighting by their room. If you have steps of any kind you may want to get that fixed ASAP! Overall experience was very disappointing and we checked out three days early!

I booked hotel a month before coming and a week before our flight out ya send an email please bear with us they will be doing roof work. Well ocean front room we can’t use because they are grinding rubber stuff off 6th floor and it’s blowing in our room and all over our towels and bathing suits and clothes we had drying on deck. Can’t use hot tub because all week long it’s a kiddy pool every single minute thru out the day. Complain and a nut job splashed me and attacks me because I finally complained and her kids get kicked out of hot tub who were under 15. They don’t clean rooms until it’s almost bed time. Front desk people kind though, and when I needed anything they would bring it to me. Hotel needs more staff to keep an eye on pool and hot tub. To many locals using the pool and to many little kids in hot tub. My room also needs to be discounted to a room without a view since we could not enjoy the ocean front with yellow rubber off the roof blowing into the door and deck, pools freezing and not heated. Whoever bought this place from the original owners needs to get this under control, nice grounds but bad management. It has to be tight wad owners not supplying enough staff and to cheap to heat the pools or hire enough house keeping. Also internet sucks and the roofers left crap on roofs and we had wind yesterday and a storm today and stuff is blowing off roof on everyone, a big huge pole left
On roof just came crashing down so.

First time back after many years… age and hurricanes have taken a toll on the place. They are renovating now but pieces of foam and material fly everywhere. Doors slam so hard that it rattles your room (and these from rooms upstairs). The donuts are amazing. Homemade. Those ladies do a wonderful job. Proximity to beach is steps away which is great. Oceanfront room is the way to go and relax while watching the waves crash. It is more of a family hotel so Spring Break "kids" were not a problem. Overall, good stay, reasonably priced, friendly staff. Would go back…

Great for going to the beach and lounging about. Affordable and indoor pool and hot tub. Reminds me of mom and pop hotels from my childhood Florida vacations. There are many improvements being done. We stayed in newly remodeled north tower and were very pleased with space and large bathroom. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would go stay there again.

The indoor pool was warm enough and the kids loved it, sincee the outdoor pool was still freezing and so was the ocean. But I could barely stand the smell… super chlorinated and just seemed "off". Our room was also right off of the indoor pool and it wasn't bad, except that at night there was a constant sound almost like a distant machine gun. Maybe the laundry or air conditioner? It was enough to keep me awake, so thankfully we were only three 1 night.

Home away from home. Not fancy, but everything and more if you're looking for a family atmosphere. RIGHT ON THE OCEAN! Two outdoor pools, one indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, kiddie pool, shuffleboard, putting green, homemade doughnuts every morning, kitchenettes and full kitchens, charcoal grills, two computers, scheduled activities, tables with umbrellas and Grass!

This place is the best run hotel I've stayed at so far. Even as an older hotel all 3 pools of which one is heated are kept in perfect shape. The hot tub works too.

What an amazing hotel, Break fast is great at the mango restaurant! Donuts were amazing! and the view and cleanliness of the hotel was super good. I went alone with my husband for his 21st birthday this weekend. And we cannot wait to go back and take our kids its a very good environment!

Building is located on a good location, surrounded by gas stations, grocery stores, activities, shopping centers, and restaurants. It's also not too far from both piers. However, the building is older outside and inside. Inside, the bathroom is extremely tight. My three year old complained about it. The room we stayed in was moisted throughout our stay and we had no idea why. The room we stayed in was big enough for four and I would say it can probably accommodate anywhere from 4-6 people. It has a dinner table with four chairs, LCD TV, small refrigerator, sink, stovetop, utensils, and a few cookware. Overall, it's not a Hyatt or Hilton but it's great for vacation stay if you're on a budget and simply don't mind about a little dirty feeling. The pools were awesome. We used the outside south pool which has a small pool for children. The indoor pool was nice. We used it for majority of our stay because it was cold outside. No breakfast but the morning donuts and coffee aren't bad. Check-in was quick and easy, gave them my last name, signed once and done! Staff is also friendly, always greeted with a smile. Family and I felt safe during our stay which is important when you have children. May consider staying again if we come back to Daytona. We've concluded that Daytona is not as great as people had made it to be. The beach and surround areas has a very old feel to it. It's dirty and the sand is very hard. The kid was not able to make sand castles.

Doing a lot of remodeling, so hopefully it'll look better soon. Front desk lady isn't professional nor nice. I believe that my color played apart on how we was treated and talked to. If you get Michelle, I think her name was, ask to speak to someone else and hopefully you'll receive someone with an better and more professional attitude.

Horrible. We're first time visitors at Perry's. Ours friends have raved about the place for years. So finally we gave in too try it. We're both handicapped and my husband is an older man. OMG! Even though we made that clear, they put us in the butt end of stair hell, on the speedway (NOISY) and a bathroom so small you'd bump your elbow when you used the commode. No room to turn around much less get a walker in it. It really was a substandard room ( (should be a closet for storage). I Icalled them at the front desk to let them know that I was not please with the paid for in full room (over $100), they said for $14 more they had a better room and someone would come assist us in moving. My husband went to make the change and was told on top if the $14, there was an additional $15 in taxes. He came back to the room to tell me this, I called the front desk to say "Hey you just said $14, if it's more we're leaving. ". Before I could finish saying anything the man hung up on me. Needless to say we left and came back home where it's nice, quiet and clean. ***** Now all of that being said from what I could see the hotel is nice, no breakfast included, unless donuts and coffee is what you want. If you can get a good room. Be specific. You may enjoy it.

Reasonably priced resort. Love the fresh doughnuts they have every morning. Two pools, one indoor and one outdoor, so you can swim even in the cooler months (off season). Parking is not plentiful, so visitors will have to park in the overflow lot across the street.

The hotel is falling apart in many areas. They will rent rooms even in the middle of remodeling the room. We paid $150 a night and had bare walls with no paneling outside. The ceiling was missing. My wife tripped on a hole in the concrete on the patio. Holes in the bathtub tile. Besides that the amenities are nice even if they are always in mid repair as well. Heated indoor pool, right now the light and wires are just floating around the pool. After writing this and realizing how irresponsible management is I am changing to 2 stars from 3. Come on Perry's, I have been coming here for 20 years. Please quit letting your place fall apart!

Surroundings too far from hotel so far OK for 1 to 2 nights.

Large hotel complex overlooking the sea with indoor and outdoor pool lined with well maintained green spaces. No restaurant but a wine and Dixie supermarket in front that allows you to eat on the spot as in the states there is always fridge and micro wave. The best rooms overlook the sea especially those on the indoor pool. The faults of the place, the reception not very friendly especially when you speak poorly English and the rooms quite vetustes.

1st year visiting and will be back. Love the location and ocean front views. Rooms may be dated decor wise but have everything I need. Beds were comfortable to me and don't need a big bathroom. Loved it.

Two soft queen beds and a pull out couch. Small kitchen w utensils. Found a dying roach but kinda expect that. Clean rooms and house keepers gave us everything we asked for. Good doughnuts, coffee and juice. Big TV w all stations. Several things offered to do. First time. We would repeat here.

I really like Perrys. We've gone here every year for more years than I can count. They have so many activities for your families, especially during Easter. They have a nice bar, a beautiful beach, several pools, including an indoor pool, and gigantic bedrooms. We've stayed in at least 5 different types of bedrooms. They have so many options. This is an amazing hotel to choose if you're looking to spend time with your family — we have our family reunions here.

Rooms are decent size, however the beds suck. Not the worst ones at a hotel, but nowhere near the best. They are rather hard. Bathrooms are tiny. Had to stand sideways between the toilet and sink just to shut the door. Mind you in not a big guy either. I'm 6' 190 pounds. No biggie though as you won't be in there much. The beach was right outside our room which was nice. Everything was pretty clean although the little mini golf area could use a cleaning. The donuts they serve for breakfast are good, and made fresh each morning. There is also a little bar by the outside pool that serves alcohol untill they run out, although the people that were there drinking was very considerate and knew when they was getting loud and would calm down. Parking is first come first served and there is not much of it. Overall a decent hotel that was clean.

This resort is huge. It has rooms with balconies for an ocean view. It has 2 large outdoor pools along with a kiddie pool. It has a large indoor pool along with a large indoor Jacuzzi. Outside they provide table and chairs with umbrellas to help with shade plus they have small BBQ grills to cook on. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. This is just an awesome place to stay.

Our most favorite place for vacations! 17 years and counting. Family friendly, clean, and the staff is outstanding. Best views of the beach from the balcony! 3 pools and an oversized hot tub waiting for you when you're done on the beach and don't forget the home made donuts every morning! Tiki bar, shuffle board and a built in souvenir store all at your fingertips. We highly recommend this home away from home!

My husband's family has been coming here for decades because it is so family friendly. They have the best indoor pool garden area and great outdoor pools so no matter what the weather the family can still have fun. Can't give it quite 5 stars because I really wish they had filtered water somewhere to refill bottles, but it is right across the street from a grocery store which is very helpful.

Inside of the rooms are nice, clean, and comfy. It could use some updating, but is decent. Walls are a bit thin and it can be noisy sometimes, but not constantly. Oceanfront rooms have amazing views of the water. Pools are clean. Donuts are delicious. And the pier is just over 2 miles away. Great deal and great location!

We booked 2 rooms online through kayak, After my wife called to verify with kayak and made sure that the rooms were for the 14th of may. She got off the phone and we started our trip. As we got close we checked our reservation and seen it was for the 15 and 16th and a single room not 2. We called kayak to get it straight and they wouldnt change the reservation as well as the rooms not beinf available for the 14th. Called the hotel and spoke to kumar, who would not cancel the wrong reservation due to kayak screwing the order up. So they still charged us and would not refund us. We are going to dispute the charges. Buyer beware and make sure to check your reservations.

The room was not as clean as expcted. No shower head in bathroom or fan. Price was decent but could've been better. Breakfast consisted of 3 typed of donuts and only coffee.

Have kids? Don't bother! This is the absolute NOISIEST hotel we have EVER stayed at. My kids are heavy sleepers and still can't manage more than 5 hours a night here. Due to random drunks, teens on the loose with no supervision, and a building that transfers every sound, this place is a nightmare. It's moderately clean but dated. The room was OK. There's quite a lot on disrepair. Every time a door shuts within 2 floors, you'll hear it AND feel it. I don't expect silence in a hotel, but I do expect for my kids to feel safe and get a reasonable amount of sleep. Neither can happen at Perry's. It seems to be 10x louder during "quiet" hours. If you really want time at the beach in Daytona, fine. Do yourself a favor and sleep on the beach. It's far quieter and you'll pay far less.

Michelle at the front desk was very helpful and accommodated a couple key requests. Though the hotel is a bit dated structurally, the room was clean and had a great view to make up for it. The younger, male bartender at the tiki bar at the time was both personable and professional. The only frustration I experienced was when I was not at any point ahead of the stay informed that they hotel requires a $100 cash deposit per person under 25. I understand that Daytona is a party destination for many an irresponsible college student, but for a young couple attempting to celebrate years-long relationship with a relaxing weekend, the demand put us in a horrible position such that we almost could not stay. I think that the policy is necessarily unethical in the way it blanket charges a specific demographic for presumed irresponsibility. Other than that asinine policy the stay was great and the staff professional.

Hotel is very old, they did a cheap job on remodeling, the store there sucks we had to buy a shirt for a 4 year old and they didn't have his size so we asked where we could go near buy and get one and she said that she doesn't shop any where's but that store which is smaller then the hotel room. They do not have a breakfast it's doughnuts that's not breakfast. This hotel would be good if your 18 and broke and all your going to do is party. If you are trailering your bike here forget about it you have to park the trailer in a parking lot across the street then you have to park your truck in another parking lot across the street then if there's no room because they only have 10 parking spots you have to park your bikes across the street or reload them in your trailer but to do that you have to get your truck and re attach it to the trail and visa versa when your wanting to go riding. They had no reason why we couldn't keep the truck attached to the trailer they said it's not allowed and the parking lot where the trailer is was huge. Very bad experience everything there sucks.

Family of 5. (two kids and baby). We stood here for four nights, oceanfront, two queen delux. It was spacious and an amazing view of the ocean. It was the only hotel that had indoor and two outdoor pools that was decent price. Free awesome donuts and a outdoor bar. Only things that were great. Room was dirty — carpets were almost black, dirty kitchen floor, dirty kitchen utensils, bathroom was nasty (black mold around toilet), air conditioning got us allergies, no TV guide, and paper thin walls (we kept on hearing a guy coughing and sneezing. Tv on loud all night! Woke up the baby). The room where you eat donuts at smells gross and musty. Do not drink coffee! Very nasty. Watery and little coffee in it. Apple juice taste like water. Horrible parking because cars are so close to one another. I would not stay here again.

Horrible. First, the hotel is completely outdated and run down… doors rotting, paint chipping, metal rusting etc. Window in bathroom wouldn't stay open. Window in room wouldn't open. Second, don't go during spring break as the hotel is filled with spring breakers who are loud and drunk every night until about 5 am. And I mean pounding on walls, throwing up etc. Third, in our room the kitchen was completely inoperable. When you opened the silver wear drawer, it fell out. The fridge door wouldn't stay shut, so nothing was cold. But of course you couldn't really access the fridge the way it was positioned and how the door opened, so it was useless. The maid service came one day and cleaned the room and took the dirty towels, but never gave us clean towels. They only cleaned the kitchen area every other day or so. The trash can outside of our room in the common area was overflowing with the same trash for days. The coin washer and dryer were broken. The tiki bar only serves food three hours a day. Pool was ice cold. Just awful all around!

The rooms were spacious and provided a nice little kitchenette. The room had a balcony with ocean view which was really nice as well.

Ok… so the good… it's on the beach, they have a tiki bar, the service was good and they do maintain the propery. However it is very old and run down… granted we stayed during the Daytona 500 so I'm sure prices were very high… but for the price… This place on the inside and in the room is a dump… it was clean. But gesh… do some updates… The free breakfast is nasty doughnuts and coffee… nothing else.

Went there a year ago and returning this year… Only reason not giving 5 stars is. Well 5 stars is a special rating… Hotel is Very accommodating with a daily activity schedule, we did not do many of them, but it is available. Rooms are dated, but HEY I grew up in the 70s and 80s so was kinda Nastalgic, butt they are spacious and comfortable with kitchenettes. Pools are very nice and well I have to say the other guests we met for the most part, were Yearly guests to this establishment. Most been going Every year for a LONG time. We actually found some people there that lives right down the road from us there. Lots of activities close … shopping, restaurants, close to Ponce Inlet for Deep Sea Fishing charters. FYI… not sure if seasonal or geographical or tidal… but when I was there, there was a sand bar extending out into the Atlantic a good ways, some 500 — 600 yards or so… Kept the water around 5 ft. Had a small pod of dolphins hunting baitfish come up and pass within 10 feet of me… was pretty awesome. Last note… This would be a cops PARADISE… The homemade donuts are GREAT…

Enjoyed the charm. Staff very friendly. Indoor pool and hot tub perfect since it rained all day… Will definitely stay again if I am in the area again!

Ketchy… comfortable… friendly… Old World Florida charm! Love this place! 3 pools, BBQ, beautiful grass area with tables and umbrellas, FREE home made donuts, What not to love!? Friendly staff, clean rooms and grounds, and exceptional beach area. Go there every time I vacation in Florida, been all over the state and now its Perry's or nothing. I'm a simple person that doesnt need fake luxuries. I need a great beach, great amenities for gathering outside (THEY HAVE A TIKI BAR), and convenient area, Perry's gives me everything I need. We usually take a good sized group and everyone loves the place. You will too.

This hotel has the best Indoor pool in Daytona, with a spacious area, a large hot tub and a high ceiling with skylights. The bubbles in the hot tub aren't much, though. Perry's also has the best activities director in Daytona: Jai. She has activities for adults and kids, including beach walks, pool aerobics, bingo, penny dives, swim races, tye dying (my favorite), and ice cream parties (kids favorite). I think that Perry's also has one of the largest lawns on the beach, with plenty of tables and lounge chairs. The rooms that we've stayed in, in the south tower, have been fine. We don't spend much time in our room though. The hotel is old, and it has had some updates: some good, some not as good. The indoor pool area doesn't have as many plants as it once did, and the waterfalls are gone, but they do have a koi pond. The free donut room no longer has outside seating, but the granite & tile are nice. Overall, it's a very good family hotel. If they would ban smoking by at least one of the outdoor pools, then I would consider it a great family hotel.

the hotel was very good. The room with kitchen overlooking the sea was clean, the beds comfortable and he room service very good. The innenpool was class and nice and warm. The hotel was clean and well kept. The breakfast was for us German with donuts and juice very getting. We definitely come back next year.

Great location, friendly staff.
