Review of Beach House Suites by the Don CeSar 3*

We stayed at the Beach House Suites for a week and had a great experience. The staff was very personable, friendly, and accommodating. Our room was equipped with laundry machines in the bathroom, which was helpful. The kitchen contains a mini-fridge, dishwasher, microwave, and a 2-burner induction stovetop. A stainless steel frying pan and pot are provided, along with silverware, a set of ceramic plates and bowls, and several plastic cups. A knife and cutting board are also provided. A Keireg is located in the kitchen too. Unfortunately, we had an issue with ice built-up in the freezer at the top of the mini-fridge due to poor ventilation and the fact that the induction stovetop is located immediately above it. The problem was manageable by lifting up the stovetop when it wasn't in use. There is one TV mounted to the wall of the main area and another on a pivot-mount in the bedroom. Due to recent renovations, several former light switches are now just blank plates, this was frustrating in the bedroom where the only sources of light were two bedside lamps that were well inside the room. Strangely, the door into the room has a significant air gap that allowed humid air into the suite, old construction appears to be to blame. The view, pool and bar were great as well. The (complimentary) shuttle to the Don was a godsend. The cleaning staff was erratic with when they would stop by; however, they always did a great job. We enjoyed our time at the Beach House Suites and would stay again.
