nice pool area.
we also has a great time at the beach
just a short distance across the street.

Amazing Resort! Great location, beautiful views, 2 minute walk to beach. The resort was incredibly clean. A family caught a small shark off the fishing docks in the marina. We loved it here and will be back!

Excellent Customer Service, Clean facilities, family ambient, very respectful and the best location. The hotel is just steps away to the white sand beach. Planning our next year summer vacation.

Check in was super easy. Outdoor surroundings are well kept.
These rooms are large and very clean.
The Bay view is pretty. Wish I had a Balcony.
The biggest downside was only having 1 parking space.
I brought my Son & his family but, they had to pay and park elsewhere.

Large rooms at an affordable cost and right across from the beach.

The condo was very nice, but no balcony on the upper floors. The room was clean except for the floor… needed to be mopped. A big thing is that you’re allowed ONE parking spot per unit, so you can’t have family or friends join you for a day.

The room is nice but could have been cleaned better as there was an odor in the bathroom and in the main closet.

Reception wasn't too nice tell me I cant smoke my cigarette outside on the balcony or on the promise. So I left. Then she want to charge me for late cancel when you tell I cant smoke outside. Would not tell no one to go here. She was very rude.

Stayed there on our honeymoon no complaints everything and everyone was fabulous.

The staff is amazing and the 2 bedroom condo is really nice. It's like you're at home.

As soon as we walked thru the door we were immediately overcome with satisfaction! Really nice n clean condo, nice views, across the street from beach access n a block from Publix. Of course all the amenities are an added plus! We will definitely plan a return visit!

Had a really great time in this resort, roomd are very spacious and cheap the view is amazing and the pool is very nice! Unlike other places it actually has depth so it does not feel like a large bath Having seperate rooms and bed makes sleeping so much easier. Careful however the AC is pretty loud and the lights are very dim so they don't help much in the dark (not much need for them with the great natural lighting though) Overall great resort!

Great large spacious rooms + amenities for a great price. The patio area is where the real magic happens. Grill out on complimentary gas grills and enjoy the scenery. A great place to meet others staying there and make new friends. Publix is A very short walk and the beach is directly across the street. A few things I'd like to see westwinds add, a new grill, a bean bag toss or ring and hook game. Other than that, it's a phenomenal place. We've stayed several times and will definitely be back again.

I was giving 3 stars at the beginning, because I was very upset and disappointed by the host of this hotel. We had a getaway weekend and asked the day before arrival and at the time of check-in if there is possible a late check out. My daughter has a 15 months infant who goes to a nap around 10 or 11 and sleeps couple of hours. We were asking about couple of hours extra for the baby to take a nap, and the host wouldn't let us do that. We offered to pay money for extra stay, but she refused to take money. I left a negative review on the first day of our stay, but still tried to resolve our problem with late check out. On the check out day I came to the office and simply said that we need about an hour, because baby is sleeping now. I guess at that point she had no choice and gave us a permission to check out later. We checked out an hour later after baby woke up, however I believe it shouldn't be such a hassle to grand such a simple request. If traveling with small kids who needs nap in the late morning I wouldn't book this hotel. Other than that everything else was very nice, clean and very well remodeled.

She said that cleaning crew need 2 hours to clean the room, not sure what they do for 2 hours in already clean room. Really frustrated that simple request to stay couple more hours left a sour taste in the mouth and we wouldn't be having this hotel in our minds for future reservations.

The room we had was an apartment/condo which had 2 bedrooms, 2 baths & a kitchen, living room FREE Wi-Fi, TV in each room, a small walk-out patio that led out to the hotel pool. Very CLEAN! We were also right on the Bay and there were small docks to fish or just to sit and enjoy the calmness of the water. We even saw a couple of dolphins! Loved it and highly recommend this place. We'll be back for sure!

Good value, but would like a half bath to compliment the one full bath in the condo. Still giving it 5 stars because the location, the amenities, the upscale kitchen & appliances, and the price were all fantastic. The money we saved over staying up the road at the residence inn was applied to a boat rental for the day, and everyone agreed it was well worth the trade. Can't compliment the quality of the room itself enough and the office staff are a serious asset. We will stay here again!

Very spacious and clean. The condo had pots, pans and dishes. It had a great heated pool. We loved it and will stay there again.

Our situation is very good, but there are a variety of options available due to differing ownerships.

The location of the resort is very good: just across the street and after a few meters you are already on the beach. The resort itself has been renovated, but it has been a bit of a year. Cleaning condition when moving in was optimizable (hair on the floor, kitchen looked something "used". ) We have WG. Baby again sucked by… Pool area OK, gas grill available but too weak (just won't get really hot and would have to be cleaned urgently). 3 washing machines, one of which is defective. On the last evening in the bathroom we greeted a cockroach in the sink… well, maybe not always to prevent at ground level in these latitudes, but this encounter was not nice either. One parking space per apartment free of charge.

Beautiful location. Condo was very nice and clean. Staff was exceptional. Even the guests were very friendly and fun to visit with. We highly recommend.

We stay here every year and enjoy it every time. The condos are well kept & clean. The staff is always nice and helpful. The patio on the bay is our favorite. The location is great. Walking distance to the beach, stores, ice cream shops, and restaurants. Hope to be back soon.

I found this place via Airbnb. It's 215 feet from the beach, backyard is a lovely patio/bbq/heated swimming pool/ private docks for fishing on the Tampa Bay. The condo is extremely cozy, well equipped, and comfortable. Love that there are coin free washer and dryers on each floor. Cons: Only 1 parking spot allowed per condo. No private balcony.

Great place on the bay. Rooms clean and very well appt. We liked it better than Gulf hotels we have stayed at… will definitely be visiting again.

Had a wonderful experience at Westwinds. The staff was very helpful and the room was clean and had all amenities ready for use. Easy access to the beach with a wonderful view of the waterway behind it. Would definitely recommend this to family and friends!

No-one around during two-hour check-in window so had to phone around to get a key. Not a great start. Apartment rooms were a good size and clean but very run-down with old and tired decor and several things broken. Had to fix some light switches, taps and furniture myself, but could not (obviously) fix the broken plug sockets. No blind in shower room. (note: other apartments were much nicer). Pool nice but many stones loose around pool. Very short walk to lovely beach — just over road. Beautiful view of sunrises.

My fiancé and I had a wonderful time on our weekend vacation. Our condo had great decor, it is right by the beach and right by everywhere important! I absolutely recommend.

This place was awsome had a family reunion here we rented a 1 bed condo it was lovely had everything we needed for cooking and running a kitchen to cook. The view we had on first floor was amazing of the bay water even got lucky to see a dolphin. The had 2 bbq s out back with. Tables next to pool. Great place to hang out and have our family reunion.

Thank You for A Wonderful Stay. It was very Relaxing. The condo had everything we needed. You can't beat eating breakfast on the patio bay. I had such an Amazing stay. I'd like to give a Special Thank you Jimmy Dean for helping with laundry soap although I could have went to the store and bought some you went out of your way and were generous and gave me some to use. The is just one thing I did not like which was leaving. I only wished we could have stayed longer.

Beachy decor and beautiful views. It has docks to go fishing off of and it is right across from the beach. There is a Publix about two blocks away. The staff is very friendly and the apartment we stayed in was in great shape. Highly recommend!

The views are amazing, the rooms are clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Its a 2 minute walk to the beach from the hotel. Overall I would highly recommend it.

The gentleman at the front desk was a genuine man. Our condo was in prestine condition and the pool was refreshing with a gorgeous view on the intercoastal. There was a nice outside sitting area with 2 propane grills and lounge chairs to sit down and enjoy the view. The cost was in our budget and the beach was across the street with Johns pass being 4 miles up the street. I highly recommend Westwinds Waterfront for your next vacation stay. P. S. It has an elevator, washer and driers on the 1st and 3rd floor.

Have loved it here, great facility and amenities. Great location and access to public beach. Pool, great patio, boat docks. Only down side is the bedroom light bulbs we're out and needed to be replaced.

I would definitely go back and recommend this place. Clean, comfortable and creatively well decorated.

We own a condo here and are very happy. We especially love the way Jimmy and Kat have run this place. We have brought family and friends here with us or by themselves and everyone has nothing but rave comments and reviews for this place.

We rented a condo through VRBO and loved the unit we stayed in. The unit wss a 2 bed / 1 bath and was recently updated. The complex is in pretty good shape the the pool are has a seating area and some bbq grills right on the inlet water. The walk to the beach was maybe 3 mins across the street and the beach was in great shape. I would definitely stay here again.

Just got back home yesterday and I want to go again! Room was clean, spacious and had an excellent view. Quiet resort (which I love) yet good for my 3 1/2 year old. I loved this place. They provide toys for the beach and lots of chairs. The walk to the beach is right across the street, no problem. Easy to access. Publix grocery is walking distance and you can save a ton of money by buying groceries instead of eating out all the time. If you stay here, you won't want to leave!

It was amazing! I loved the heated pool. The grill was amazing. So many places close to it like Publix, Subway, and a beach! Stayed in room 301 and loved every second of it.

Stayed here for a while last summer. Excuisit room, I felt like Annie moving into Daddy Warbucks' manor. Free and reliable Wi-Fi, on a waterfront with free fishing and ties for a boat. Free DVDs and books at the office! what more could you ask.

I don't even know where to start. My husband and I had our wedding reception of about 50 people here. Most guests were from out of town and all stayed at Westwinds. I could not believe the availability and reliability that Jimmy and Di provided for my guest and myself. They were always there and more than accomodating. They even provided Tiki torches, tents, and tables for the reception! It is a beautiful place with all different kinds of rooms. Everybody was AMAZED at how beautiful the views and rooms were. My husband and I live here and definitely will be visiting again just for a getaway weekend with our children! I am telling you the truth when I say if you want a resort vacation that feels like you are stayin with family, this is the place for you! Westwinds will always be in our hearts and memories. thank you so much, kristi.
