Clean rooms and great staff. Everyone is extremely friendly. Doesn't have a hot breakfast though — only granola bars, oatmeal, fruit, and things like that. Direct beach access. Plenty of tables and seats on the patio if you choose not to go onto the beach. The grounds are lovely.

Very clean Very comfortable nice laundry facility on the premises. Very friendly! Spacious hotel room excellent ocean view! They are updating and remodeling the rooms. No kids was a big plus! A lot of older people like retirees… which didn't bother us at all. We are mid 40's and 50's and love the no kids screaming atmosphere! Clean outdoor pool not much of breakfast just muffins coffee oj and breakfast bars. You get your own beach umbrellas and beach chairs overall very nice place like a little studio apt. With all dishes coffee pot pans utensils included! Just bring your clothes and food! Will definitely return next year! Excellent place to stay if you're looking for a quiet place with no bratty kids jumping in and out of the pool and no hollering! Serene! If I could give this place 10 stars I would! Thanks guys for an excellent stay!

Shoreline Resort is a quiet beachfront condo/hotel with a clean pool, comfortable beds and beautiful views. The staff are kind and helpful. Perry goes above and beyond! The housekeeping staff keeps things really clean and maintenance is there if you need them. The beach was not crowded and there were beach towels provided. We had lounge chairs that faced the beach on the property and well as tables and chairs with umbrellas. We never had to wait for chairs. The view was perfect without even getting sandy. If you want to go on the beach the access is right by the pool. There is a shower to get the sand off too. There is a guest laundry, ice machine and soda machine all near the pool and office. Every room has a balcony. A few rooms have obstructed views but not many so I would ask. Our room was maybe 50 yards from the water if that far. It was amazing!

We enjoyed our stay in room 182. The staff was amazing: they were friendly and helpful. They let us stay on the beach and park at the hotel after we checked out. There is no houskeeping on Sunday which was fine. The location was great, a little over a mile to John's Pass which features shops and restaurants, some of them right on the water. The beach was beautiful with white sand and not too many breakers so there is no need to go far into the water. One morning we saw dolphins about 30 feet from the beach. Later on, a manatee swam between me and my husband, about 3 feet from him. I saw the animal lift his snout out of the water to breathe. The only drawback was having to cross the road to get to the main part of the hotel and the beach. We didn't mind it, though. Our apartment had a small living room with a kitchen, a bathroom and a bedroom. The bedroom is situated in the rear so it was quiet. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Good view, air conditioner was set where you could not turn the fan up higher to cool faster. The ceiling fan was set to one speed only. They used to supply at least one roll of paper towels for kitchen. The sliding glass doors need to be repaired or replaced because they drag on the track and you can hear the adjoining rooms entering their balcony.

We stayed here on our honeymoon and it was fantastic. The room was spacious and the view was beautiful. We are planning on going back for our 1 yr anniversary.

The place is very clean and the staff is customer friendly. The pool and deck are kept clean at all times. Great place!

Great resort for "Girls Beach Is Getaway". Every year for a decade or more, anywhere between 12 and 18 of the dearest of friends get together at Shoreline Island Resort for sun and fun. Already booked for 2019!

This was our first visit. We stayed there from May 29th until May 31st 2018. The rooms were really clean, air conditioner was perfect. Staff was great. We will be be booking this hotel again in the future. We love the fact that its an adult only hotel. Its really close to the beach, the pool was great. We loved to sit on the balcony and listen to the waves coming in. This is a great hotel to stay in.

This ADULTS ONLY hotel is just fabulous! It is the main reason I keep returning year adter year. The entire staff are super pleasant and the rooms are super clean. I wouldn't stay stay anywhere else!

I couldn't tell you how many times we have escaped here. Fun, great front desk staff. Clean pool, great beach. We found a fossil as big as my hand on this resort beach. Always happy place. I thought this place had fairly reasonable rates to be on the beach. Not newly remodeled but not run down either. The decor is just a bit dated. Great views. The room was also quiet. Comfortable bed.

Shoreline is a great place to be. We came in October then came back in January. It is a 21 and over place which I am glad they have. Its not a party place, thank God. It was so refreshing and relaxing! Great time spent there, johns pass is right up the road and there are plenty of shops around Madeira beach. They also have coffee for you all day and oatmeal and healthy snacks in the morning. Beautiful in the morning and evenings. Both our rooms we had had kitchens in them and were nicely done. I recommend staying there.

I was there for a couple of days with my son. It is a beautiful place and I had a great ocean view. Staff is awesome, very friendly and manager absolutely incredible — able to solve any kind of issue. He is a great asset to that hotel! For sure, I will be back!

We had an issue with our room and the staff were very quick to offer options to ammend the problem. View was great. Place might need to be renovated a bit but it is otherwise phenomenal. Staff handles issues very well.

Great hotel. We loved that it is adults only. The only complaint would be the noise coming from above room 544 which appears to be the owners living quarters. Could obviously tell there was a kid running around above us. The bathroom could be redone a little better, the tile just had an old look. The carpet was in very good condition, clean, and could walk around with socks on without it making them dirty. I believe the owners also came around on Christmas Day and gave us a quart of fresh squeezed orange juice, which was very nice of them. The beach is public so there will be kids out there. We would definitely stay here again though. Check in times are between 7am and 10pm.

We discovered this resort looking for some beach time to squeeze in while traveling to Tampa FL. The rooms are big and have a small kitchen. They have a nice pool area with shuffle board courts and grills. Continental breakfast in the morning. Pool floats you can use. A great ocean view out of your room. And it's an all adult/non — smoking property. The staff is very friendly and helpful about activities and dining in the area. We had a wonderful 3 days, wish it was a couple weeks!

We come back for the third time and we are very satisfied. Excellent location in front of the sea, very clean and well equipped apartment.

We enjoyed our stay. Like the new building. The best is just ok. Would of liked to see more fruit. We'd come back.

Super good. Only that is the only thing that is. Breakfast can be forgotten.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the cleaning staff. We asked them for recommendations for seafood restaurants, and each one was spot on! The hotel itself is kept very clean and looks like it's newly renovated. There's even a laundry room in the main building for when people stay longer. It's definitely a home away from home.

Top: Adult hotel right on the beautiful beach with large cozy rooms and great views, friendly staff, super Wi-Fi, beautiful pool complex. But unfortunately: To hear street noise permanently (cars), very lean breakfast (all instant), noisy air conditioners. Overall recommended.

Meets the basic needs. Service and staff have been great. Rooms are dated and while I like being able to hear the ocean from my room, I can also hear the road traffic and a couple of ladies talking very loudly somewhere in the building.

Prefect getaway! The room we had across the street wasn't ready so they upgraded into a room facing the beach! Kristin at the front desk/check in was friendly and professional! The room was clean and comfortable! I will definitely come back again.

Great property with great staff. FYI, it's adults only, no kids no pets… Its a quiet peaceful hotel. Highly recommend.

Don't let the 3 star rating fool you! This place is so cute and fun. The owners/staff could not be more friendly or more professional and they really care about their guests and your stay at their hotel. The housekeeping staff is impeccable in their cleaning of the rooms and you never want for anything. Other than not having a restaurant and spa on site this is a 5 star hotel to us. Go check it out!

Amazing! A few friends and I went over July 4th. The beach was great, quiet with not many children. The staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely plan on going back.

VERY clean and we'll maintained. Helpful non-patronizing staff. Great location. Everything fun and food related is within 4 miles. Great grilling area. Very satisfying visit!

Great rooms that are cleaned daily by the staff. All adult rental units with a pool and beach access. Front desk personnel are extremely friendly and helpful.

Nice location On the beach. Beach open 24 hours with alcohol allowed. Quiet area and affordable. Rooms are nice and spacious.

This resort was a diamond in the best of all worlds, when you want the friendliest management and staff, who will make any vacation a pleasure to return, year after year. Thanks to the Marsh Family and their superior staff. Great steak houses and seafood restaurants are close to The Shoreline. The staff can suggest eateries, or explore on your own. Leverocks for seafood and Harold Seltzers for steak and the best prime rib ever. See you soon, in April 2016 .

My wife and I spent a week there and it was great. Front desk personal was very informative and pleasant to talk with.

This is a nice hotel, but it's two night minimum stay, on weekends, prohibits you from enjoying it for a quick one night trip. Some peoples schedules don't allow for a two night stay and they would rather have empty rooms than book one for one night. A bad business plan in my opinion.

Great view from the top floor. Room was clean and full kitchen was convenient. Very quiet place. Only reason for 4 stars is that all the people there were 65+.

Great place to relax. The no kids policy is GREAT! Adult only hotels are pretty rare — don't understand those who gripe about the over 21 policy — almost every hotel from least expensive to high end allow kids. If bringing your kids is a priority — great! Just go to one of the other establishments.
