Great place but they are closing next week for good. Demolition starts 12/18… so sad. So much fun times and great memories.

The coolest kindest staff and management on the water. I have over 20 stats at Dreamview. The beach there is always clean and food is great. I only wish the elevator was faster. Lol when you turn into a Marriot you better keep guys like Nick on staff. I dont know how he does it but always makes me and my companions feel like we are home.

The view from the balcony is amazing! I loved waking up in the morning and the first thing I see was the calm ocean and Palm trees. This hotel says is 100% non smoking but I seen every one doing it, so I was confused on that… Anyways this hotel is about 15 mins from pier 60 which was cool. Had a nice stay I must say…

If you are simple people you will enjoy it and relax. Me and my wife started our honeymoon here before heading to Disney, midnight staff at front desk very friendly and welcoming, the day front desk staff not friendly and barely looked at you. The rooms were very clean housekeeping do great work. The first day at beach couldn’t relax as they were power washing the bar right behind us. The beach is very clean and very well kept, as I watched the guy clean it every morning. I wanted to smoke a cigar and they had a designated area for me which I dident mind. Drinks at tiki bar are very pricey, food was really good. Waitress are very friendly on the beach and the bar, they made up for the rudeness of the day staff at front desk. The sliding doors were a pain as you have to lift and slide to open. I would come back, but they are ripping it down as Marriott bought it condos and hotel they are building.

We're in the middle of a 2 day stay. Great views of the hwy & industrial boat dock across the creek. Room is extremely small, bathroom the size of a closet, fully stocked with mold. I booked on their website a double queen with sofa bed, arrive & they told me they don't have that room. They wanted to change me $10 for a roll away. Ended up getting the roll away, although it barely even fits in the room. Pool is small, no hot tub. Beach wait staff have been nice. Free parking is nice if you can find a spot. Extremely over priced. Would never ever stay again. Far from the activities in town. 2 star motel at best.

So I stayed here twice this summer, once for my moms birthday and once for my birthday. If you're not too picky you will be satisfied with the rooms. They were clean and beach view was great! However I dont care about rooms too much because I'm not there to stay in the room the whole time. The private beach is nice. The restaurant has great food for a reasonable price. We had one server who was amazing and the other one was not that great lol. My only real complaint is their alcohol drinks are very, very weak for what you are paying for. I mean extremely weak. I bought two top shelf margaritas and a daiquiri and it barely had any alcohol in it and it cost 45 dollars lol. Luckily there is a liquor store across the street. The tiki bar closes at sunset. Other than that it's a good place if you're not trying to spend an arm and a leg for a few nights. I would definitely go back!

I booked through Delta based upon the reviews and the average prices in Clearwater, FL. I was very disappointed in the property. It appears like it is pretty older and had a grungy feel to it. My wife and I booked a standard room with a queen-sized bed. The room overall was very tight. It seemed like the room we were in wasn't originally supposed to be a room but was modified to accommodate the basic necessities of a hotel room. We stayed the night trying to be optimistic. We ended up having cockroaches in our room that showed up the first night and another in the morning. Completely unacceptable. We left with a refund for our second night and booked down the street at Opal (highly recommend). Pro: private beach with bar service Con: old property, cockroaches, small room, run-down amenities.

Clean with nice balcony rooms. Small beach that is more in the bay than on the gulf. Up side it's the last hotel on that side and the place next to it looks to be a time share that was pretty dead. Does give you a private kind of feel. Staff was slow picking up the beach and towels. Food at the hotel is way over priced but there is a subway and a pizza joint right across the street. I recommend the pizza joint. They have a large menu with decent food.

Awesome views, great staff and very relaxing! Nice older facility but kept very well. Can't wait to return! Private beach with walk up bar! Sandy beach groomed and nice!

This place is really nice. Private beach, pool, away from the hustle and bustle of down town clear water. The manager on duty this week is so nice. I needed to leave a day early and they are helping me get credit for the last night. I really appreciate that. Only downfall is no microwave in your room and no laundry room. We were able to walk everywhere. So if you are looking for a 4 star hotel this is your place. You can order drinks and food as you lay on their comfortable lounge chairs. Beds are comfortable.

The staff I dealt with were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The beach was clean and organized. The bar tender was very friendly and the drinks were reasonable. The hallway and the elevator were a little musty. Overall though a very good experience and we would return.

I was so happy to have found this hotel. After a horrible experience 2 doors down, I was about in tears at 11 pm at night but the young man at front Desk (not sure if JP or JD) he was so nice and really worked with me to help me get rooms for myself and 4 teenagers. Thank you for much for your help and helping me to feel so much better and I am So thankful to him and the hotel. It was a very nice, clean hotel and the beds were very comfortable and staff was great. It was also great waking up the next morning and seeing that great private beach and nice pool. I loved the gal that also made the smoothies for my teenagers. They were great. I hope to come back and this will definitely be the place I stay!

Was very unsatisfied with the room we had the first night for multiple reasons, they did not inform us it was a handicapped suite which we could not give our daughter a bath after the beach, people were smoking weed in the hallway, people were smoking and drinking in the pool, beer bottles everywhere and cigarette butts in the pool and after staff was informed they laughed, complained about the room and they promised a new room first thing in the morning so we stayed, next day they told us nothing was available until after 4. So we had to pack up and switch rooms, the new room was nice. The beach was disgusting and full of cigarette butts and numerous people smoking weed on the beach. Not an issue with me but not happy with my kids being around it. Made complaints about it numerous times. Was also charged for items that we did not order and they originally took them off but in the end charged us again. I asked for a manager numerous times but was always “unavailable” will never stay here nor recommend this place to anybody. Disputed the first night room plus fees for my complete inconvenience that they caused. Take your money to the edge hotel! Much better hope.

We had our wedding reception and honey Moon here! I can’t say enough great things about the staff. They were like family by the time our week long stay was over. We loved our room, the view, and the atmosphere. They went above and beyond to make our wedding reception magical.
We will always recommend them and return every year.

Older type hotel with a beautiful beach front location. Nice bar outside. Can easily walk to the pier. One of the better places to stay since there's actually some stop and go stores out back so you can buy soda beer excetera. Lots of boats go by so it's kind of pleasant to sit on the beach and watch the action. Also good sunsets.

Great View! Great Staff! Thank you Batman and Robin (Jessica and Nicolas) … Had a great time. Rooms were nice but a bit dated. Needs a little more than a coat of paint… Walking distance from everything you would want to do! Which made it very nice, didn't have to drive the car around. Otherwise it was very nice. We will be back!

The rooms were clean and the location was great, but the staff upset me and my husband giving us a run around. When we checked in late Friday night we were told we were getting the ocean view and it wasn’t cleaned so we would be moved Saturday. On Saturday we called the front desk and they told us they are working on cleaning the room and they would let us know when it was ready. We went down for coffee and a few hours later asked the gentlemen at the front if it was ready yet. He said they are still cleaning it. So we went for lunch came back later on and was told we weren’t being moved and she don’t know where we got that we had an ocean view and that we had not paid for that. I repeatedly told her then why did we get the run around all day and just being told this as we have a toddler that was with us and didn’t get comfortable. Her response was she just got there she wasn’t the one who told me we were moving rooms. And then said all she can do is give me $15 drink credit it was a joke.

Very good location, comfortable parking and with place, very clean the place, advisable.

We loves this resort! We had a beach front view. The pictures on the site were just like the room looked in person. All the staff was amazing! Dave, Bobby, Shanna, Lori and Dawn were especially incredible and all went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The only complaint I have, is when we checked out, we were told the Marriott is buying Dream View and the building will be tore down and a big resort will be built. The reason we chose Dream View was because of the private beach and it wasn't a huge resort like all the others. Too bad that is going to be lost.

It’s an old, cramped hotel with fresh paint. Tiny bathroom. Narrow halls. Bed is great. Common areas and balconies are nice. The food is good but not great. The glass doors to the balcony are a real hazard since the fixed side is absolutely clear with no markings to warn you that it’s not an open door. Nearly caused a serious injury. It would be treacherous with active children. The deadbolt lock is inoperable.

Even though it is an older hotel it was clean and the beds are amazing. Views are just like the pics. Very nice and helpful staff. Everything you need is right here! Pool is nice and warm.

Comfortable Hotel with very nice beach.

We came down for the pre-Christmas bustle and could not have been more satisfied. From the original booking with Mindy … to some follow ups with JP and Nicholas… to the front desk staff "Miss Ducky", the bartenders were SUPER attentive and along with their, specifically Bobby, mix master skills they kept the beach combed and chairs and trash cleaned up. Yes the elevators are a smidge slow but not annoyingly slow. The housekeeping staff kept our room IMMACULATE and we would HIGHLY recommend the 5th floor end unit 520… corner room with AMAZING VIEWS! It is at the end of the island hustle and bustle but within a very short walk to the action. Thank you DreamView for a wonderful, relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Had a wonderful stay here! If u want a bit more of a quiet place to be this is the place, yet it is only a short beach walk to other hotels that r a bit more lively with bands playing and such, which was fun to walk to and enjoy, but then was real nice to walk back to Dreamview which was more quiet where we could go to sleep with the sliding door open and listen to the water lull us to sleep. BEAUTIFUL views! Can walk everywhere. Good breakfast. Highly recommend!

Great hotel, the room was clean, did not smell. The housekeeping is excellent, staff is very helpful always smiling. The private beach is a plus. The only reason I am not giving it a 5 star would be because of the incident that happened to our rental car right out side their parking lot. Some crazy man went around smashing the windshield, I had to get the insurance involved, pay a tow truck to get the vehicle to rent center so I could get another car and the insurance deductible. I understand that it wasn't the hotel fault this happened, but I was expecting a bit more than just a free breakfast considering that it totally ruined our vacation. But overall it's a good hotel, and would definitely recommend this hotel.

This is anything but a resort! The pictures on the website are VERY deceiving as this is an aged motel at best. The elevators have been refinished on the interior, but will take longer to travel 6 floors than a normal elevator would to go 26, all the while you are praying it actually makes it. You get into your room and it somewhat appears as though it may not be too horrible until you take your second step. This is nothing more than an overpriced Motel 6! The balcony doors barely open and close, the air conditioner doesn't keep up, but sure makes a racket. There isn't a vent fan in the bathroom so showers steam the whole room up. You definitely don't want to flush the toilet while someone is sleeping because they will think a train is coming! I am not one to complain too much, but this "resort" should be called a motel and cost 1/3 what they charge.

Lovely, small and quiet. Our beachfront room with balcony was clean and comfortable. Little private beach on South side of island is protected and water calm. Excellent staff.

Excellent staff, they were really nice and helpful! The rooms were nice and I had a great view of the beach. The only reason it is not five stars is because I think the bathrooms could be updated, they don't really fit the room. But overall a great experience so far and I would stay again and suggest it to others.

Staff was super awesome! From the front desk to the bar staff and servers, great hospitality! The hotel itself is a little outdated but CLEAN. Super slow elevator, we made jokes about it the whole time… beach is awesome, super comfortable, quiet and a great view. I love that they're in the little canal and you get to watch the dolphins chase the fishing boats. Great place, we are planning our second stay there in a couple weeks.

Great beach! Room was clean and well kept. Staff has been very helpful with the upcoming hurricane Irma. Love it here!

Hotel staff was very friendly, can't say nothing about it. Front desk explained us all the hotel rules, and made us feel comfortable. But what we didn't like was the elevator. That was the slowest elevator ever. Second thing was bathroom. It needs some serious updates. Looks like straight from seventies. You have to keep in mind that everything you buy in hotel (food, drinks etc. ) will have 18% tip added on top of price. I really enjoyed the view and beachfront.

Went here with the family for a weekend getaway. The rooms were nice, but our AC unit could've been better. The beach and pool was nice but the pool was heated which we thought was weird for the middle of the summer. There's lots of things to go do in the area but just keep parking in mind, you'll definitely have to pay and it can be difficult to find a space in peak times but the parking at the hotel was convenient. Would definitely go again!

I am currently a guest at your resort and I would like to share some concerns and my disappointment with you. Upon our arrival on Sunday afternoon after check in at 4pm my family and I went to the private beach area, we stopped for towels to cover the lounge chair, we were told they're weren't any towels, and they would have some in 30 minutes, after an hour, I asked again and was told they still hasn't been brought out, I asked if they were going to come out and the girl replied "30 minutes was a couple of seconds ago" it was an hour and her answer was unprofessional. After an hour and a half I saw another new guest with towels so I then got up to get our's. After two times requesting towels the hospitable thing to do would have been to bring us towels. My next issue is the false advertising of the mini Starbucks "where there is always something tasty to pick up… " at 715pm after coming in from dinner with take out dessert, we went to the mini Starbucks for coffee and was given the response "I'm not making a pot of coffee, you can come back at 630/7am". You may want to re-train your staff in the hospitality services. I am very disappointed by the customer service, I was hesitant in booking my mini vacation at this hotel since it was not a national chain and my instincts were right.

Got a very good deal last minute almost half off room. Ended up getting a great deal great room with a perfect view. The private beach was great and so was the service at the bar.

The room was absolutely gorgeous! The staff was friendly. I definitely will come back. Oh! Fid I mention the bed? Lets just say I slept like a baby. Better than my own bed!

Customer service was not good. Very small rooms. Only thing nice was small private beach. And dolphin sightings. Elevator so slow and so hot. Got king size room with pull out sofa. The sofa bed had springs poking out and I called front desk and they did not care and did not offer any other room and did not give us extra blankets we asked for to at least keep it from hurting. Never informed any of us about the gas leak they had. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

We encountered on our Florida trip coincidentally this charming hotel. The rooms are large and spacious. The view is a dream and the private beach once.
