Love being able to see the beach from in side.

It was very beautiful and relaxing, enjoined the beach and the weather was excellent.

Worst stay ever. We had nothing but problems since we got here and can’t get ahold of anyone to come fix the issues. I finally got ahold of a manger named Bruce and explained to him that he have had multiple issues including no hot water for 3 days, a/c not working correctly, toilets not working properly, and one member of our party falling through a rotten board on the 2nd story deck. His response was well you should have called when the issues happened and it’s not my problem at this point. However he refused to listen when I tried explaining that we did call when the issues happens and have been trying for 3 days with no answers and that’s when he hung up on me. This is the worst management I have ever seen and I would not recommend this company or property to anyone however the location is great just do some more research when you go to book.

Upon arrival the air conditioner wouldn't cool below 78 degrees, told management and was told that was "normal". Told them again and they got someone out who said it was working as it should but started working after the guy left. On the porch there was a board that was about to break, which we reported. The next day one of the people in our party fell thru AND THAN THEY CHANGED IT. Our hot water didnt work an entire day and we couldn't get a hold of anyone even though it was before 4pm on friday when we started. They have refused to work with us, or offered us a discount.

Great location! Good sized rooms.

Great location, clean rooms, a bit small but has lots of charm. Lots of restaurants a mile either way on the street. Don't come in your big truck. There's room for six cars to park but just enough. The other guests are friendly, mostly couples. They have beach toys for kids and chairs you can carry out of to the beach and a couple beach umbrellas. The beach is fantastic. The water was 75 yesterday. We would consider this place again.

Loved loved loved it! Just what I always dreamed having a house on the beach would be like. Hope to go there for my 70th birthday sometime in 2018 and praying that all are safe down there right now and come through this as well as can be expected my prayers are with you.

My husband and I have stayed here 3 times and each time it's been perfect. The place is clean and well furnished, the perfect romantic getaway.

We are the 3rd generation owners of this relaxing seaside getaway. Enjoy A stay in a 1925 beach house that has the best of Old Florida. Walk out your door and you are right on the sand. Reading all these great reviews makes my heart sing. Our grandparents truly blessed us when they found this place on the prettiest part of the barrier island surrounded by water on both sides.

I tried to make res at Sun n fun but the rep named Carlos was quite short with me when I was trying to pick a date, he said he was very busy and had other customers calling on the other line, etc so he told me to call him back when I got my dates picked out. (It's not that easy when the rooms are booked and you are trying to work with the dates he had available). I called several times within the next 30 min and he didn't answer, so I left a message on their recording two weeks ago and no one has called me back yet! Also the first time I called the room was $150 then it changed to $180 in just a few days (he said the owners change the price whenever they want to). Also they don't tell you about the "cleaning" fee charge on top of that, so the room would have cost over $200!

This is a lovely setting right on a great beach with well-priced accommodations. The place is vintage so it doesn't offer a lot of amenities one might expect but it is quite charming. Our apartment was large, pretty clean and fairly well equipped. If you have a specific kitchen utensil you have to have — pizza cutter, kitchen shears, baking sheet, etc. You better plan to bring it with you because you probably won't find it in the kitchen. The bed was comfy but lacked a blanket and I did not want to use the bedspread, which did not seem very clean to cover up with at night. The living room furniture definitely had seen better, more comfortable days — very worn and quite dirty. The Wi-Fi was totally unreliable and the "almost never there" on-site management showed little concern about that situation — "the office Wi-Fi works perfectly. " Our unit's windows were painted shut and had no screens so there was no letting in fresh air or listening to the Gulf waves crashing — other units did have functioning windows. There is a beach side seating area that has lots of tables, chairs, rockers, etc. Unfortunately, no regular maintenance took place in that area so it was unkempt with overflowing ashtrays, oddly placed furniture, lots of sand, etc. All in all, the positives outweighed the negatives at this resort. If one is looking for a small, non-highrise place to stay near St. Petersburg, this could be your place.

A lovely very relaxed beachfront setting with everything you need provided in the rooms. Rooms are cheerful colours, typical beachside feel to them with comfy beds. Plenty of chairs and sunbeds scattered around the property. Excellent location with The Pub 2 minutes walk across the road serving lovely food and a few minutes further a store for your supples.

My wife and I just spent 7 wonderful days here. Not the Ritz, but super clean and right on the Gulf steps from our door. We would return and probably will. Thanks Bruce for the experience. Mary and Tim.

Stay away! The manager is incredibly rude and absolutely ruined my stay. I'm actually thinking about filling a lawsuit. Stay away.

The location was fantastic. At Sun n Fun you are on the beach with views of the sunset from your beach apartment. Across the street is the intercoastal waters, where we watched the yatchs go back and forth. The management and help were so nice, they answered all our questions but left us alone to relax and enjoy our vacation. I loved it and will be back next year.

It is wonderful to be at the beach being away of the chain hotels. For business they are perfect but for our get away Sun n Fun was the right place to be. Not fancy. Clean and cozy. Right on the beach. We loved it! It was exactly what the website promoted. Our family vacation was memorable and we found new friends with the other guests in the house. By the way our BBQ under the palm tree was yummy! We will be back, hopefully with all the children.

I just returned from a week stay at Sun n Fun with my family. We had a great time. Location is unbelievable. Charming 1925 beach house is not your typical accommodations…it has that "Old Florida" character. Nice change from the hotel routine. The Gulf was directly out the back porch and the intercoastal waters were behind us. Clean, comfortable and friendly…We will be back next year. Loved it! Gary Williams and Family.
