Very disappointed. The entire reason for this trip was to experience the original house. We were taken out back to a house behind the property. Emily while very courteous upon first meeting her, was barely seen or heard from the remainder of our stay. There was no bar and no breakfast supposedly due to covid but we were not told this when booking our rooms. We were also completely alone in this house and to make matters worse, coming back at night from dinner we noticed that the side door was open. We felt uneasy being that we were outback with barely any reception and close to the woods with barely any lighting on the property. No cable! There were 6 channels and almost all included religious singing. Since I read all the reviews and heard that the couple would give us a more historic overview of the house, I was excited, but that was definitely not our experience.

I think it’s over priced during covid with no bar or breakfast no amenities or anything plus not even able to see the old house … that’s not right I payed for the bed and breakfast experience and didn’t really get that at all.

We stayed at the carriage house which was the house in the back. We were not told that we would not be staying in the actual Anne Stevens House and felt we were mislead. They also advertised free breakfast and bar and neither were provided. Both were closed due to Covid and again were not told beforehand. The rooms are pretty and clean but the cable service ir awful, about 6 channels in total and 3 were televised evangelical services. Ladies please be careful its not the ghosts you sjould be wortied about the Carriage building is very isolated, my 2 girlfriends and I were the only ones in the whole place and it didnt feel safe. Ask where you will be staying and if others will be there. Very dark back woods, just glass doors anf no type security system or person. Never saw Emily again after our initial check-in.

There is nothing close by to entertain yourself expect kayaking in blue spring 30 minutes away. The house is very clean and family friendly.

I would highly recommend.

Whether your looking to stay at a new historic B&B or going to Casadaga for any spiritual moments than Stay here!

Clean grounds, cater to special diet breakfast-thoughtful.

are so friendly and welcoming. The mahogany bar is hand made and a absolutely gorgeous. My son and I are enjoying the Windsor room, very comfy bed (HUGE). Do yourself a favor and stay here…

This historic hotel is absolutely beautiful. The owners and staff are very friendly and attentive and breakfast was delicious. I will be staying at the Ann Stevens house again, for sure!

I truly thank Emily and her husband for the wonderful experience that my son and I had there! Emily was more than happy to educate me on the history of the Anne Stephen’s house when I asked, she was so warm and welcoming. The accommodations were wonderful, it was impeccably clean, and I absolutely recommend Ann Steven’s house to all ♥️

Really nice. Very pretty large rooms, big bathroom. Look out of our room you see very pretty garden and lucsh trees. Nice TV, internet. Met the owners, very nice people.

I absolutely Love this place… our stay was the best B&B experience ever!
It is owned and operated by a lovely couple that goes above and beyond to make your stay a great one. The room was extremely clean, designed with comfort in mind, the breakfast was awesome, and I love how it offered you that private get away; but only minutes from having a variety of things to do!

One word description SERENE. Period charm enveloped on a 150 acre land trust. Emily shares the history of the area as she greets her guests. Rooms are cavernous, bathrooms equally spacious. Attention to detail is very evident. Bed linens make for a very restful sleep. Oversize luxury towels and assortment of speciality bath products in bathroom. Hot water always available. Screened in balcony, available in select rooms, is inviting especially while enjoying a beverage from the guest beverage station, located in the hallway. Breakfast option worth the upcharge. On site tavern draws local patrons every Thursday evening.

An absolutely beautiful restored home. The room, accommodations, atmosphere, hospitality … it was all first rate. And breakfast was fantastic.

It is the best BB I've ever stayed at I plan on coming back rooms are comfortable and clean staff and owners are pleasant The only negative is that you don't want to leave LOL.

Very nice Bed and Breakfast. Quiet and secluded. We went during the Easter Holiday weekend, so there were only 3 other couples staying there. Highly recommend. We will stay there again. The breakfast was delicious.

Just returned from a trip with friends to Cassadaga. I had the good fortune of staying at the Ann Stevens House for two nights, in the carriage house. What a lovely B&B! The room was superb! Large, modern with antique decor and a great bathroom and balcony. The Inn has a combination of two structures. One is the original house which is utilized as a main living room for guests and breakfast dining area along with several rooms upstairs. The second structure the Carriage House has about 6 rooms and a charming little tavern open on select nights, The owners have thought of everything and are fabulous hosts. There is a courtyard area with a Gazebo and garden as well. If you are planning a trip to Cassadaga/Lake Helen this is the place to stay! I'll be back for sure! My husband and I spent a wonderful weekend back in October 2017. This place is beautiful, warm and charming. The owners, Emily and Shane are wonderful people! The breakfast was delicious! The conversations were so interesting. We loved it so much and we are defiantly coming back! If you come to Casadaga, do not stay in the hotel, you will be missing out, if you do not stay here! I've been in Florida over 20 and never knew we had this Gem in our back yard. Staff is awesome, place and history is amazing. They have various size rooms, special needs / wheel chair available with spacious bathrooms. I am a Travel Agent and Wedding Vows & Honeymoons Destinations Specialists and I for sure will recommend this Gem to my clients!

Great place to stay, cozy, with really good breakfast. The hosts are warm and welcoming, as well as very knowledgeable about the history of the house and it's surrounding areas. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. If you're looking to just get away And relax from the hustle and bustle of city life, this is the place to stay!

This is something you don't want to miss! The home is so special — from the earth it sits on, to the owners, the energy is pure love! With a Delicious breakfast and enchanting gazebo we didn't want to leave! Can't wait to visit again — if you're visiting Cassadaga this is the best place to stay!

Quaint old house with lots of details & charm. Owner Shane has built an English style pub in the house out back. Locals stop by late eve to talk. Close to Cassadega, for that quiet "mocking bird" in the trees Florida feeling & sounds. Good get away.

Very friendly hosts. Stayed in the new building. Nice accommodations. Screened porch overlooking woods. Early morning walk through adjacent park. Good breakfast.

They use well water with no disclaimer on wall… my hair turned bright Red… so much iron in my hair it broke off all over! Have spent over $600.00 trying toy repair and grow back my hair… never again!

What wonderful place to stay! This was our first bed and breakfast and what a great experience. The rooms were beautifully updated and in a traditional style which we loved. It was quiet and comfortable for a nice getaway for the weekend. Emily was great. She made us feel right at home. We even got upgraded!. A must place to stay when you are up that way! We will be back again :)

Quaint B&B near the heart of Cassadaga.

This Bed and Breakfast is located in a very nice quiet area near DeLand. Emily, our host was very nice and welcoming. The rooms are large, clean, and beautiful. Most have private screened in patios. The bathrooms have large showers or tubs. The breakfast, looked and smelled delicious although we didn't have time to give it a try but we definitely will next time. This is a great place to stay when visiting Stetson University or any of the surrounding areas.

Shane and Emily run a wonderful B&B. Friendly and inviting. The beds are soft and the tub in the Ann Stevens room is huge! I would definitely recommend this as great place to stay and explore the eclectic Casadaga community.
