Thank you for a wonderful three-day stay last week. We slept soundly, loved the bartenders, wait staff in the restaurant, and the valets. Room service was super fast. Went for the beach view but loved everything else too. Excellent base for visiting my old hometown. ❤️

Worst service I have ever had at a hotel. Not your typical Marriott standard. All staff was rude and not willing to help with one issue after another. After housekeeping came in cleaned and changed bedding, " new" sheets were ripped dead bug on wall the whole week bathroom not cleaned toliet broke could never get 4 towels even though we had 4 people in our rooms. Asked several times to be contacted by someone and just kept getting passed over and told it was just a busy time. Dont waste your money!

I have never had a bad experience at this beachfront hotel. Hotel breakfast, lunch and dinner is amazing. It is situated right in the heart of Fort Lauderdale and Miami, you dont have to leave the boardwalk, or even hotel to feel like you ate 100 miles away from the life youbleave behind once you check in. Hotel staff is exceptional and caters to your needs and more.

Great location, great food, awesome outdoor area and pool. I spent the week traveling in Florida and the service here was by far the best. Customer service is a dying art but this place has the most friendly customer oriented staff I have ever seen at a hotel!

It's Beautiful. It is amazing to see the fireworks right from the pool on the 4th of July. Super comfy rooms and has great space!

We come back year after year! Love this place. The staff is super friendly. The location is the best. They are located on the boardwalk just across the beach! There is a restaurant in the building. The pool is great and the bar is even better! Great happy hour. Within walking distance to several restaurants and shops.

I used their valet parking and they returned my car with a dent on the side door! Nobody has contacted me in regards of this incident!
This “night manager” was very rude and did not want to fix the issue. We called the police.

This is my second time staying at this beautiful hotel since June. The staff is professional and so friendly. Complementary snacks and champagne in the afternoon. The bar has an amazing happy hour and the staff remembered me from a few months ago. Great environment and clean rooms! Love it here!

Absolutely best experience ever at a hotel! This hotel has great service at the restaurant Latitudes! Decent size pool, not huge but decent. Worth every cent. The view is GREAT! Right over viewing the ocean. Only downside is that you are about 5 minutes of walking from the restaurants. But the porch is a good size. Also hotel room size is good. The service is great! I have never been to this hotel, but for sure I will again. Hotel is 100% worth the money. Definitely recommend.

This particular Marriott bills itself as a resort, why? I have no clue. The hotel was recently renovated I believe and it's in very good condition, carpet smelled fresh and it looked very well taken care of. One of the elevators had an issue with not stopping at a floor correctly and a manager and a technician were there in less than five minutes. Bear in mind that this Marriott is not your typical hotel, here the breakfast is not included, and the parking is also not included. I paid $20 daily for valet service since regular parking was $17. My breakfast was like $15 more or less plus tipping. The hotel restaurant is located pretty weird, were you'll have to go through in order to go to the bar or the pool so it's always noisy and the floor wet. The pool is a very small pool with a jacuzzi area that's also handicapped friendly.

We always enjoy this hotel. We have attended many events here for different organizations and have even hosted events here. The catering/events team are top notch and always make sure your event is a success! Lauren keeps in touch throughout the planning process and has wonderful ideas to help you, she thinks of everything in case you didn't!

I had a great experience at this hotel! Gorgeous interior and exterior. The rooms were bright and updated. The staff was nice. The hotel food was a bit pricey but tasted good. I wish the parking was cheaper but other than that I would definitely stay there again.

The reason is not 4.5 stars will be the restaurant service.
Yesterday, we waited for the waitress to arrive for about 15 minutes and she came after I went and reminded the hostess.
The arrival of our meals was also delayed and when it came was cold.
For a category 8 Marriott you will expect a higher service as I have always received in Previous Marriott’s.
As far as the other amenities, it was great as usual. Clean room, front desk concierge friendly, as well as the valets staff.

Not crazy about this Marriot hotel. Its space felt kinda crowed, dark and not that inviting. Rooms were dull and balcony sight views not pleasant at all. I don’t think I’d recommend this Marriot to any of my friends.

Wonderful place wonderful stay. The staff was all very nice our waiter in the morning was wonderful. The staffs in the pool was so nice. Included in your stay: you get champagne at time of check-in, smacks throughout the day (found at front desk), 2 free bike rentals, 2 free drinks can be alcoholic or non-alcoholic, & frosty drinks by the pool. In my opinion those are great incentives to have. I thought the price was a little high but since you get all these freebies I don't mind paying it again. I'm almost certain that all rooms have a balcony which is great. The rooms are large, beds are comfortable as well as the pillows. Bathrooms are perfect size and are nice. I will definitely stay there again!

Great food & right on the beach. A respite to praise God for the sun, earth, & water. He is good. Everyone needs to check out Latitudes, their restaurant! Loved it!

Great hotel — employees were very nice and greeted us with open arms — we felt so welcome here. Room was nice, bed was awesome, nice view of ocean, nice beach, great expresso and latte in lobby. What more could you ask for? Highly recommend and will be back!

It was nice! Right on the boardwalk. The bar was packed at 2pm (a good sign). We got served right away and good service. The outdoor seating area was great; some sofas, some tables and a large bar. A band was setting up for live music as we left.

The latitude restaurant and bar serves up amazing delicacies with drinks to match. We enjoyed a great Sunday afternoon by the beach with a great view and food. The live music was fabulous and the best part is that it is not as expensive as you believe. Pedro was our waiter and he did a great job of informing us what tasted great and what he would recommend. A very delightful chap! I would definitely recommend!

Very luxurious hotel right on Hollywood Beach…
The breakfast is very good and plentiful, but pay extra! The food in general is also very good and considering the fact where you are right now the prices are actually very moderate!

I was there only for the restaurant which was excellent. The food and attentive service there is exceptional and when added to the ocean view and leisurely atmosphere… Love it. By reputation, I can only imagine the hotel itself is a quality experience.

Good service, good food, beautiful oceanfront view. Although now I remember Q put you on a waiting list if you want to sit on the sidewalk where you never call, and see how people Q have not been signed to feel Q Tu first.

Very good beach. Easy to spend the day. There are several paid parking lots in the vicinity.

Very nice staff (shout out to amber). Overall nice location with boardwalk on the beach right outside. Great penthouse for their concierge offerings. Only complaint is the construction in front of building.

We just stayed here and could not be more thrilled with this hotel! Not only was every encounter with staff extremely positive, but the food, atmosphere, cleanliness and overall accommodations were all 5 star. The proximity to the beach as well as the bustling boardwalk all added to a great location. We usually stay in Ft. Lauderdale but will definitely be returning to this hotel as we loved the fact that we didn't have to cross a busy street to access the beach. Thank you for a great time!

It is an excellent hotel very comfortable. The cleaning pretty well. Their facilities are old but have good maintenance. The staff of valet and the buttons are super friendly. The food 8 out of 10. Points to desfavor could mention the service in the bar and in the restaurant, quite delayed. You sit to wait to take the order and there is not even an eye contact indicating that you have to wait to be served. What other very well. Family-friendly environment. I was at a conference for 3 days and the rooms are quite comfortable and the temperature pleasant. The newly renovated rooms have a nice beach décor. Negative points I could mention that my bathroom had no exhaust fan, and the air conditioning was super noisy. Overall a good experience during the 5 nights that I was hosted there.

I have never been in the Hotel… But the restaurant is amazing… It is just front to the beach, really nice view… The servers are really good. The breakfast is a buffet. On Sundays they have Omelette prepared at the moment as you prefer it.

Being right on the beach is the biggest point. It is a nice hotel and it is well run, the service is good and the restaurant is good and they offer all the typical hotel amenities like room service and bellmen etc. The meeting rooms and facilities look really nice as well. Lots of restaurant options close by and a great board walk along the beach. We were happy with our stay, again it’s hard to beat being right on the beach.

Excellent the attention of the concierge staff, good food, drinks regular. Ideal because it is in front of the beach and you can rent a bike and stroll around the coastal edge.

The location is wonderful. Right on the beach on the board walk. The service was great. Everyone is very nice and helpful. The restaurant and bar are great too. The only negative is the room furnishings. Beds are lumpy and furniture is too big for the room. They mentioned they are remodeling and it is definitely time. A more beachy feel with new beds will make this place the best.

Hands down, the best vacation ever! The nicest staff I think that we have ever encountered, from check-in to check-out. Great food, great pool. Walking distance to everything. We will definitely be going back. Thanks from my family!

We like it much better than Margaritaville — out favorite hotel in the area, certainly the best on Hollywood Beach. Nice bar and restaurant right on the Broadwalk, friendly staff and the rooms are good. We send friends and people here on business to the Marriott and have never had a bad experience. Try the lobster omelette at Sunday brunch — delicious.

The service and rooms is very beautiful… but the windows do not work all the time…

Hollywood beach Marriott had a very nice hotel room. We stayed in a room with a large balcony overlooking the pool and ocean. The hotel staff were very nice and the amenities were good as well. The service at the restaurant was subpar and overpriced. The rooms were costly but fair for the location.

Really nice hotel in the beach. Every room has a balcony. Collegues didnt like thw place much. For me everything was well.

Food was halfway decent for the price no taste for the most part…. Anything that was breaded was good and crispy… the drinks we got for the bar we're good decent price 8/9 bucks each.

My husband and I love this resort! So many great employees who all remembered our names. If you have the privilege of visiting, please make sure you visit the restaurant by the beach; we always try to request our favorite server, Trey. He is such a respectful and amazing server. The best way to describe him is “top notch”!

Great place to stay right on the boardwalk with a beautiful beach. The staff is awesome and the rooms are beautiful. I think th best part for me was the comfort of the bed it was plush. I had such a good night sleep. Thank you Marriott. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

Nice staff. Unfortunately the hotel is far too noisy. Each room has its own air conditioning system that makes a huge noise. Even if your own is turned off you will hear the facilities from the adjacent rooms. The pool is small and little spectacular. We would not want to stay there again.

Stayed here a few days ago for a conference. Service was all around phenomenal. Accommodating staff. Had a problem with the room that was addressed immediately. Wonderful amenities. Comfy bed is always a plus.

I work as a delivery driver for uber and I had a great time with the staff as I awaited my customer. Most of the people who stay there seem pleasant, as well. It's currently under construction so it's a little hard to find the entrance.

I give this hotel a 1 star because there is no zero available. I am not one of the conflictive customers out there but what happened to me and my family was horrible. We drove over 12 hrs from NC to enjoy our summer vacation at this hotel. I always check the reviews before reserving and this had decent reviews, but unfortunately for our surprise when we got to the hotel to check in they told us they didn't have the room we reserved available. We reserved a room with balcony and partial ocean view with two queen beds because we were 4 adults. When we got there they told us due to a system error only a standard King bedroom was available. They kept telling there was nothing they could do for us even though they knew we were travelling with our 5 yrs old that was tired and hungry at that time. I had to ask to speak to a supervisor myself because even though the front desk went and explained her the situation already she kept ignoring me and not offering any solutions. I had to ask to speak to her and get us a hotel with the same or better accomodations we have booked there in the same area. It was then when she decided to call a hotel nearby to get us a deal. I am a manager myself, and when something goes wrong a manager's duty is to be proactive and find an alternate solution to the problem and make the customer feel at ease that a solution will be offered. None of this happened at this hotel.

Top of the line. This place is elegant, classy the service is terrific, the servers are amazing and the food beautifully presented and tasty. The breakfast buffet is amazing, I went 2 times this week and would go back a third time if I had someone else to share it with. The view of the beach and the ocean on a sunny day is so South Florida, you can't ask for more. I know everyone goes to South Beach and that's fabulous. But Hollywood Beach is wonderful, too. Try it out.

Settled a price at the front desk for $170 all in for the night and woke in the morning to find a bill through the door of $210! No where near the price agreed. But managed to bring the price down a little but still was a con. Other than that the hotel was nice and clean and nice pool view.

Went in asked for a total. Price with resort taxes and state taxes and car parking was given a price of $169.00 from front desk then in morning bill came under door total was $207. So was not impressed went to front desk asked why it was now $207 they said they I had to pay resort and state taxes I explained that I asked yesterday for a total price, and was told $169, they were helpful and said I should have been told the correct price was $207. They removed the resort tax for me but had no choice but to pay state tax. Pool staff were great and friendly so we're bar staff in fact every one was helpful. Room was clean would stay again.

Excellent room, staff, room service, clean, beach location, pool, shampoo/conditioner, etc. Loved the smoothies by the pool that are free. Food at the restaurant was good but if you are in a hurry, the service may be a little slow/relaxed. While eating you can enjoy the ocean and breeze. There are chairs/umbrellas to rent on the beach. Location is very ideal for families. We didn't like having to pay for parking. We would highly recommend this vacation spot.

The only good thing is it is on the beach. Negatives, the rooms are really dated. The shower head is so large it sprays water everywhere but by the time it makes it to you, there is no force, you better not have any salt or sand on you because it probably isn't washing off. Not sure what was above my room, but sounded like someone was sliding a door every 2-5 minutes… Extremely loud. I'd consider staying again but not for the price. I expected with the Marriott name to be a bit nicer. Edit: found a roach in the shower, guess it came up from the drain?

Even though we live in the area, we are not close to the beach, so my spouse and I take a date night and stay on the beach at our favorite Marriott. We are always treated as if we special and so is everyone else. I don't know if everyone is special but the staff at this hotel make a you believe so. The rooms are very nice and the view from each room is spectacular. Food is excellent and the morning buffet superb. We love walking the boardwalk right off the outside cafe and bar — Latitudes. But the best part is the beach is right there. This is my place for relaxation and comfort.

I've been a Marriott rewards member for over 25 years averaging about 20-30 nights a year so I know them a bit. I was skeptical about staying here but found that we had a very nice time at this location. I found the staff to be super friendly, food was overall very good and the rooms comfortable and spotless. What I didn't like is the rooms are dated, dark, and on the small side. Self park is expensive at $17 a day. Especially since you're not really near anything, north of Ft. Lauderdale. The location beach wise can't be beat, you make a left out of the hotel, walk about 150 feet and you're in the water. I've seen better beaches with a lot whiter sand but it was clean. The multi mile strip where you can walk or ride is nice with several restaurants and bars a few blocks south of the hotel. The pool is nothing to write home about but it does have a whirlpool and the general ambiance around the pool, bar and outside dinning was very nice.

Hotel rooms were clean and modern. The ambiance around the beach was fantastic. Good was great, and staff was very friendly. Pool is a bit small.

Very relaxing and AWESOME location right on the beach. You couldnt ask for a better spot. Right on the boardwalk. I think the price was a little high given the room, but given the location, which is what you are paying for. Parking is not a problem and it is smarter to do valet for a few bucks more than worry about parking your own car which STILL costs money, which I think reduces the customer experience. The outdoor bar/restaurant, Latitudes, was nice and open and spacious. Food was good and decently priced and the menu was also decent The vote from the family was an overwhelming thumbs-up and we would gladly come back here again.

Went there to eat, rude waitresses and bad food. The waitress was against gays and woman, he was always making bad comments. What a bad restaurant, also smoking is forbidden.

My wife and I stay here occasionally and are never disappointed. The staff is courteous and friendly, the facility is clean. Excellent view from the beach-side restaurant.

The rooms were well equipped, clean and comfortable. Access to the beach couldn't have been easier. The outside bar was very nice and the valet parking staff always treated us like a million dollars. I was very happy with our stay there.

Great place to stay, clean and great food.

We stayed here for 3 nights over the fourth of July weekend and had an absolute blast! Check in was at 3pm, but we got there around noon and they let us go right up since the room was ready. The entire hotel staff were amazing. Extremely friendly and eager to help. The pool staff here were the best, hands down and went way above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of while sitting poolside. Always offering clean towels, water, anything you need. The beach is just a skip away. So close you can enjoy the view of it from your pool chair. The entire hotel was extremely clean and well kept. We will be coming back for sure!

Everyone please be aware, OK where do I begin, this place is a complete dump and utter disappointment, first off not worth the price for your hard earned money, there is no parking and if you do get lucky enough to find a parking spot it costs $17.00 dollars in a supposed leased garage located next to the hotel which 'Marriott" claims is not theirs, so if something happens to your vehicle they are not liable, and if there Is no parking your S**T out of luck, the check-in was a night mare my room was not ready had to wait until 05:00p. M for my room, the front desk staff was completely unprofessional and rude especially 'NATASHA" the front desk manager who was completely unprofessional and unworthy to try and offer nice hospitality after she knew we were a big family celebrating a birthday at the hotel, it took a human resource lady by the name of "DIANE" to come out and help Natasha and do her job for her because Natasha was completely incapable of handling a situation with customers at the front desk, she was a complete mess and had no direction on how to execute a problem with a valued hotel customer, Rooms and bed were horrible, uncomfortable, my A/C unit was not cooling the room enough was hot all night long.

Place was great! Staff was friendly and nice from the front desk to the maid service. Was asked if we enjoyed our stay by the front desk manager and when we said we wish we had more sun and could enjoy a day of sun but we were checking out the next day, he offered a late check-out for us to stay a little longer. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I spent 4 days at the Marriott, recently. The room on the 8th floor with a side view of the ocean was fantastic. The service was great as were the workers at the pool and the TiKi Bar. This was our second trip here and we plan another as soon as we can.

We have stayed at this hotel 2 times already. On both occasions we have had a great experience. On our recent stay we got a room on the 5th floor with a not so good partial view of the ocean, but we requested a higher floor and our wishes came true! We got a room on the 9th floor with a nicer view. Staff is Helpful and Hotel is Clean and Beautiful.

I'm an average guy that does a fair amount of traveling. The room was adequate, although the bathroom was not cleaned well (shampoo cap in the shower and the toilet needed some help). We stayed there last week for 2 days after a cruise. No microwave, eh, I can deal with that. The decor reminded me of an old Spanish exposed timber, highback velvet chair kinda theme. My 11 year old said that it looks "haunted". Desk staff was great, enthusiastic, helpful Elevators, second worst in the world at busy times I read other reviews and chose this spot. People talking about the "famed Hollywood boardwalk". And "great location". Look, if you DON'T have a car, your meal options consist of Latitudes in the hotel, which is most definitely overpriced. Or a half mile walk south on the boardwalk to a couple of pizza shops and an ice cream stand. And that famed boardwalk is pretty nice, but a lot of beach boardwalks attract true "Beach Bums" or "Beach Hobo's". You'll see your share on that walk. I would clasify this part of Hollywood Beach as a step above "shady". Or "apparently safe-ish" Won't be back. Learning experience. Check please.

I stayed for 5 days last weekend. Disappointed with maid service, no microwave, rusted shower curtain rod, no water pressure for shower, begged for bath towels. Breakfast buffet was good, but pricey. Location is great. Expected much more from "Marriott".

The staff at the Hollywood Beach Marriott provided our perfect weekend. First off, I can't say enough about the Concierge Paolo, the valet or front desk staff. They helped me organize a wonderful weekend when I proposed to my now Fiance. They perfected every detail from the intricate decoration and mood of the room for the proposal, to the dinner arrangements. We even had a bit of car trouble about a mile from the hotel. The valet handled getting the car released to the tow truck to take back to my hometown for repair, the front desk handled the luggage while I went to the rental car location. The facility and room was amazing. The beds were comfortable and you can't beat laying in a King bed with two sliders open listening to the waves and/or the music below. I can't say enough about this hotel and it's staff. We felt like we were treated like royalty in our own paradise for the stay. They made a once in a lifetime moment for us and will always hold a special place in our hearts. We will be back.
