There valet broke the latch on my car it cost me $659 to replace. I cannot get any response from their mgt group. I stayed a week there with my company and I’m amazed at the lack of response.

Do not stay here. You are forced to park valet, then valet steals from you. I parked my car valet and when it was returned to me, someone had gone through my bags in the back, and stole some of my electronics. They also went through my center console and left those items in my front driver seat. I reported it to the Front Desk manager. He said some one would call me back. No one has. They refused to take accountability, claiming that they parked my car in a secured parking garage. Then, who stole my belongings?

Every room is an ocean view. Awesome restaurant called Steel Pan. The best food. The chef stops by yo say hello. My favorite spot to stay in Ft. Lauderdale 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Right across the street from the beach. Great views from the room. Chris at the front desk was amazing. I was told the resort fee would be $140 but at the end I was charged for $188. So that part I didn’t like. Then they said we got 20% of the hotel restaurants. We went for breakfast and was told it wasn’t included. Only lunch and dinner was. Which is crazy cuz I still dropped $100 on breakfast so it’s not like it was cheap. But overall it was the cheapest place on the beach so I’d go back. I just wouldn’t eat there.

I wish I could give this hotel more than 5 stars. From the moment my sister and I checked in, we had the most amazing experience! Friendly staff all around from the front desk to the wait staff at the hotel restaurant. Everyone makes you feel so welcome! I wish I could remember everyone's names but they were ALL so pleasant! The hotel itself is also super clean, mask required everywhere which made us feel safe, family friendly, and thankfully NO spring breakers when we went (just what my sis and I needed). We had a beautiful ocean view room with floor to ceiling windows — would've been better with a balcony but we booked kinda late. Location is perfect — literally steps away from the beach! If I ever visit Fort Lauderdale again, I'm staying here!

CARLOS made my experience ten times better he was helpful, kind and went out of his way for us with a smile every time. Great location close beachfront rooms with views and close to everything. Carlos is my favorite part his customer service is AMAZING.

The view was amazing. The hotel was so nice. We loved the beach was a few steps away and the poolside bar was awesome. Very good drinks and awesome service.

The worst experience I’ve ever had! We drove 17 hours to get and had to wait over 3 hours for our room. Was told they updated our room for the wait and did not. Ask to speak to the manager and she gladly wanted to refund our money instead of helping us! A disgrace of customer service! Will never stay here again.

The rooms + hotel itself is great. Great view + very nice. The hotel staff is nice. But the service in the restaurant + poolside was awful. Took over 30-45 minutes to place orders + to even receive orders (drinks). Or we’d order drinks poolside + they would never bring it. Not to mention you’re already getting charged 18% gratuity for crap service. Upon leaving we asked for a receipt + wasn’t aware of an additional $40 per day charge that was added onto what was already paid. Will not stay here again.

I love the hotel, the view and the location! I usually stay here about twice a year. Last week the hotel was great at extending our stay a few days since our cruise was cancelled. My interaction with the front desk was great except for two times, once when I asked a simple question about getting new room keys for the extending stay she was a bit rude, and then when I checked out the girl asked how our stay was and I said fantastic except for the Sorority that moved in the room next to us last night, we got two hours sleep! Her response was “Our spring breakers are pretty good at least they don’t break anything” really, I’m sure we paid more than the girls in the next room for only two hours sleep! Steel pan food and drinks were very good!

I have just returned to the UK after 10 nights at the Sonesta Fort Lauderdale Beach. From the moment my husband and I checked in we were made to feel that nothing was too much trouble. The staff are fabulous, excellent food, beautiful rooms and the whole place is very clean. The hotel provides sun beds on the beach which is beautiful. I can’t wait to return for another holiday. Go on, give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Our experience here was simply terrible. We reserved 2 oceanfront rooms. When we checked in, the rooms we were given had partial, very limited, ocean views. On top of that, one of the rooms had construction going on right outside on the deck — where workers were present throughout the day. So we could not leave the drapes open at all for privacy reasons. So whatever limited ocean "view" we had, was also of no use. During this entire time, we spoke to multiple staff about getting us better rooms as per our booking. Not only did they not change our rooms, they were not even sorry about the mess up and kept making excuses about how "all" of their rooms are ocean view rooms and to talk to the manager if we're not satisfied. And the manager was nowhere to be found. I would rather stay in a highway motel next time, but will avoid this resort at any cost.

Beautiful location excellent staff. Very clean well-organized and I love the atmosphere all together. The architecture work is also pretty awesome or interior decor. I would definitely recommend friends and family to stay here. We enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is very nice and clean and the customer service is top notch. The rooms have a great view of the ocean and the beach is just across the street. Like all hotels in the area they charge a resort fee but at this hotel the resort fee is worth it. We stayed at another hotel and the resort fee pretty much included 2 beach towels. Here it includes, beach towels and chairs, 2 complementary welcome drinks, plus every afternoon there are themed snack stations. They even sent champagne to our room for our anniversary. I would highly recommend Sonesta and we will stay here again.

3/5 days days the cleaning crew forgot to do our room (even though we were tipping them! ). On our last night we did not get any sleep due to people partying until 4am in the room next to us. I called the lobby multiple times and we're not able to even stop the music. I thought this place was a nice hotel to relax… Not a trashy college sprinbreak hotel.

Got back yesterday from Sonesta Fort Lauderdale. Stayed 5 days. Nice, clean hotel. Beautiful view! Staff were friendly and helpful. Alexis from the front desk was great. Alexis made check in and check out process quick and pleasant.

Evelyn and the other girls at the front desk are so sweet and welcoming! We were going to get married next door in Hugh Taylor Birch State Park but the weather was not permitting. After speaking with Sue from their Events Dept. They graciously let us use one of their Penthouse event spaces, with floor to ceiling windows and a gorgeous 180 degree view of Fort Lauderdale Beach at no charge! I can’t think them enough for extending such hospitality to my friends and family and making out ceremony a memorable one, despite the ugly weather. Eduardo, the GM, and the Sonesta team sent us a couple treats to our room as well! The views from our corner room were beautiful, looking over both the adjacent state park as well as the beach. This is a quieter area of Fort Lauderdale, not quite as bustling as Central Beach area or Las Olas areas, but a nice change of pace.

Great location, across the street from the beach. Ate lunch poolside and food was good. The staff were very nice and helpful.

Wonderful stay. Clean rooms, incredible views and very friendly staff! It was a pleasure. Best place to stay for the Air Show. This is a beach front hotel (well the beach is just across the street) that sees a moderate amount of traffic. Its not dated as its very modern yet gets use. As with any hotel you can sometimes hear guests coming to their rooms late at night. You cannot blame the hotel for that, blame rude people. Life hack for travelers: ask for the business floor for sleeping and or bring earplugs everywhere you go just in case. You’ll sleep like a baby.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience the past 5 days. Starting with check in, Alexis was professional and informative throughout, always with a warm and cheerful presentation. The staff from bartenders to pool and the beach guys could not be more courteous. The hotel location begs the question why consider any other? Beach, Pool, local food access and cocktails mission accomplished! We shall return. Thank you Alexis and staff!

I had the worst experience for one reason … valet. The hotel rooms can be a little more clean. VALET IS THE WORST! They damaged my car and did not tell me about it. I had to find out. They claim it was "reported, " but I didn't know that until I came back that night to file my claim. They never checked in their system, to begin with. The guy who took my complaint was super nice. It has been about five days, and NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. My car is damaged, and I'm not paying the $3000 out of my pocket because I didn't cause those damages. The number they gave for someone to get info, he does not answer, and I have called headquarters, and no one has answered nor called me back after my multiple voicemails. Valet is required for that hotel, but they should be careful about the vehicles. Honestly Sonesta, hire a better valet system. They promise so much customer service to us, and they lack it; it truly makes your hotel terrible.

I stayed for 3 nights for Tortuga Music Festival. We booked a room for 4 people (my mom, boyfriend, and sister). I am 20 years old, so the name was registered under my mom’s name since I would be arriving before her. However, she called a week in advance to make sure that I would still be able to check in even though I am not 21 as we understand that age policies at certain hotels can be strict. After driving 8 hours from Tallahassee to get there, I attempted to check in and they wouldn’t let me. They called my mom and she told them that she had called the other day and spoke with someone about this. The lady at the front desk went to get her manager, Kent. Kent was incredibly rude and arrogant. He got on the phone with my mom and asked when she would be coming to check me in. She told him that she didn’t know when she would be coming since she works late at night. He said he could get us checked in for 1 night but our keys would be deactivated in the morning until someone over 21 came to check me in. Fine. After hanging up the phone, Kent rolled his eyes and said “well let’s hope your mom shows up” in a snarky tone. He also wrote down our room number and double checked to make sure we would only have 4 people in the room. Just blatantly rude to a paying customer, no matter how old I am. We had to leave early in the morning to get to Tortuga (where my mom and sister were meeting us).

The view from our 12th floor corner room was fantastic! The guys at the valet stand are outstanding! We were in/out a lot and our car was always ready! The bike share station in front is a plus! We will be back! David with Dale McIntosh.

Had the best ocean view I could have imagined. It's close and walking distance to many local businesses and restaurants. It's also on the quieter side of the main beach strip A1A. My only complaint is the soundproofing of the rooms. I was able to hear our neighbors conversations and anyone walking down the hallway.

I was there for a company convention. So I can't give a real review. The place was clean and nice. Staff was pleasant. It's right off the beach. The pictures I provided are from the Penthouse view. Not the greatest pictures but it gives you an idea.

We called at around 10 AM that morning to see if we could get into our room early and were told that it would not be available until 4PM. We arrived at the hotel at 4PM exactly and waited in the hotel lobby for 2 hours before our room was finally ready. I have NEVER waited so long for a room in my life. Especially for how much Sonesta charges, I mean that was simply ridiculous. Then when we finally got into our room at 6PM, the sheets were lightly stained and one of the counters had weird sticky spots on the corner. The staff were all very nice so we didn't say anything. But needless to say, I was very annoyed. Great views, nice staff, lovely design — but somewhat dirty and ridiculously long check in time.

Very small bathroom, the room has no microwave. Very expensive for a little luxury. The drinks are very expensive and do not throw to him alcohol is a scam. And a lot of construction noise.

My girlfriend and I stayed here a few months back for an in town get away. Ive been in Ft. Lauderdale a long time and remember watching this place get redone. So when I saw a great deal for a good room online I jumped on it! The hotel was great, fairly priced, good restaraunt and great views from the rooms. Only thing you miss out on is a balcony, which most of the other hotels on Ft. Lauderdale beach have… but there are nice large windows! Prices seems a bit higher now, but If I ever see another deal I would love to stay again.

The place is really amazing, the staff is super friendly, the amenities and room service excellent the only problem I have is the excessive fees for everything, just by ordering a drink from the bar they charge you a service fee of 18%, everything you order or get has this excessive service fee, even after they charge you a daily resort fee and daily valet fees.

I visited Sonesta for a conference. I was very happy with my room which had a great view to the ocean. There's unlimited coffee and water in the room. There's also several interesting places nearby. At least a couple good restaurants (apart from the hotel's restaurant) within a few minutes walk. There's also a 7-eleven nearby in case you forget something at home (e. G. Deodorant). Very friendly stuff and overall I am very happy with the hotel.

Resort fee of $24/day for internet and 2 bottles of water seems insane. Misleading to advertise a low price and then tack on fees most other places include in the base price. Valet Parking is $34 a day and they lost people's keys while we were there and were still trying to collect the fee after losing their keys. Rooms were noisy, heard doors slamming all night. Pillows sucked too, very flat. Location was good though and rooms were spacious.

Beautiful hotel. Immaculate! Lovely staff. Perfect location for the beach and just a short walk from the water taxis. Beds are so comfortable. We had an ocean view room. Bottled water provided for us every day plus fresh chilled water with fresh lemon in the lobby. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We checked in and we're immediately greeted. It was a Friday night so we assumed the check-in process was going to be a hassle. Boy were we wrong. We were in our room within minutes of arriving. Awesome! The view was amazing! So cool to wake up and see the ocean. The price for the room however is a little pricey considering the size of the room. The beds we're comfortable but small. We had two twin beds for the 3 of us. Each room has a coffee maker, USB charging stations and a flat screen TV. Bathrooms are a little small. Limited counter space. The shower was nice. No bathtub in our room. I'd recommend this place at least once for the amazing view. Plus, You're 3 minutes away from the beach and ocean.

Rooms are nice, great view of ocean, nice beach. Bed was very comfortable. Staff is nice and accommodating. I would have given a 5 star if parking wasn't $32/day plus tips every time you wanted to go anywhere as well as $10 for a small plastic cup of beer.

So… my wife and I were on our way to the Dominican Republic and I fly all the way there and get DEPORTED without cause or a explanation. So my wife and I set out not to ruin our vacation and book at the Sonesta. Thank God we did what a great time so awesome. It made our vacation nightmare all the more better. We could not of been so pleased with the manager Santiago all the way to our server Aimee. This hotel was awesome they remember your name clean and swanky decor. Highly recommended. The only down fall no patios in rooms but the view made up for it. The mahi fish tacos. Awesome. Bartenders at the pool amazing thanks Joule (Joel) and Matt.

The hotel is great but there are some negative aspects. Nice views of the beach, friendly staff, and modern rooms. Housekeeping is amazing! Not too thrilled about valet parking only but it was an up front notice. It's not walking distance to shopping/dining areas but it's across from the beach so it makes up for it. The restaurant and drink items are very pricey though and not deserving of the quality… I mean $48 for breakfast buffet can for 2 people is very unreasonable, especially considering the available items were pretty much standard breakfast. You can always drive somewhere or find a place nearby to get better food for a better price. I would recommend the stay but not somewhere to eat and drink.

We stayed for 5 days. Room service staff were extremely noisy from 7am banging doors constantly to get rooms ready for arriving guests. They never cleaned our room before 3pm. 1 particular day the room was not cleaned and we were told that we had a do not disturb sign on the door when that was not true at all. The $20 per day hotel resort fee was a bit steep for 'daily delights'. This should have been optional. Other items included in the resort fee such as access to sun lounger and pool towels should be included in the hotel rate rather than an additional fee.

Warning. This hotel charges for EVERYTHING. You can’t even get a free cup of coffee in the morning. They also add a gratuity tax of 18% to everything. You want 1 drink? 18% tip automatically added. The service was slow. We came in for a wedding but were shocked how expensive everything was. Not the mention the wedding party did not have a positive experience for what should be the best day of their lives.

The location is very good, the confot hotel is adequate. The beach service is incumpleto as they offer two deck chairs but the umbrella must pay part (about U$S 20 per day). The Hotel parking is VERY EXPENSIVE ($32+tax per day). The equipment of the room is restricted (there is only a coffee maker and a heladerita). The relation cost-quality is not bad.

Very spacious rooms with all the amenities you need. Amazing views! Parking was a bit much but that is to be expected. The staff was wonderful and the bar in the lobby served up great cocktails. The location cannot be beat! Walk across the street and your on the beach. Great shops, bars, restaurants, all within walking distance. Cannot wait to go back!

This place was amazing we stayed in FT Lauderdale first time ever and WOW is all I can say the staff was awesome Suzette, Eduine & Annie amazing women, 2 bottle water everyday, in the lobby refreshing cold water, the view amazing, the room was very clean & people are talking about how small the pool area is but you are steps away from the beach, then people are talking about the parking but we didn't rent a car we did the hoppers which takes you up to 3 miles down to the strip for just tips, so all together this place is a must stay you won't be disappointed! 5 star all the way!

A beautiful hotel with expensive valet parking service.

This hotel is absolutely wonderful! It is clean, comfortable and the staff is very courteous and friendly. The rooms are clean and well kept and the view is breathtaking! The beach is right across the street, it's clean and for an extra 20 dollars per day you get 2 beach chairs, pool towels and 2 complimentary drinks, you only need to bring ypur own beach umbrella. We loved this place! Can't wait to come back!

Very nice hotel in perfect beach location. The rooms are clean. It's busy and friendly staff made the arrival easy and efficient. The pool has cabanas. They give you beach chairs for free each day. It's pretty great.

Definitely wouldn't stay again at this hotel! Great views from room is the only positive. Room was filthy, black hairs and old stains on bedding. We had to have housekeeping change it out upon arrival. If you want fresh towels or coffee when you stay a week you will need to track down someone in the hallway because they forget you called down to request. The pool is tiny and crowded and very hard to relax. My husband and I had to leave to enjoy ourselves to get that resort feel and would return to sleep and shower. Not what I had in mind for an anniversary getaway. The day we left, the valet guy asked me to write a good review on the site Trip Adviser and if we come back we will receive 10% off.

Amazing hotel, and the views are amazing probably in any room you stay in! friendly staff, right by the beach, near a scooter rental and all night pizzeria! gym could have been a bit better but didn't take away from the nice rooms, updated finishes, and location! would definitely book again with them! there is a $20/a day fee that includes free water, among a few other perks but didn't mind it much.

Hotel itself is great. Very modern, excellent location, conveniently across the street from the beach, friendly and helpful staff. However, their parking method is a bit inconvenient (valet only without access to your vehicle at any time). Also, the time it took to get our bags to the room was very extensive. There is a pool bar with a female bartender/server who was amazing! She is definitely one of a kind. Super sweet with younger guests, bubbly personality, she can strike up a conversation with anyone about anything, fast and efficient serving food and making drinks. They are lucky to have her there. Pool was ok, nothing out of this world, just a regular 3-5 Ft pool. No spalsh zone for little ones or water toys. The rooms were simple. No microwaves inside and they won't make arrangements to bring one up. It was clean and modern, innovative architectural deco style. Had a mini fridge and a Keurig coffeemaker. Wi-Fi signal was terrible. Overall experience was very nice for a 1 night stay if ur going to Ft. Lauderdale beach. They offer beach chaise longs for guests staying at the hotel til 5pm. No umbrellas, though.

Patrick was awesome and the girls at the front desk were so nice! Rooms were neat and clean. Across the street from the beach was a plus. Bunch of cool little shops in walking distance. Only problem for me was parking was too expensive and the walls were a little thin. Lol!

My wife, myself and my mother in law stood here in may the first day there it was great, but from the second day on things changed we went out and went to the beach on wednesday housekeeping cleaned the room for the first since we checked in upon return we showered up and while we were getting dress my wife went to put on her watch and bracelet which she left on the table was gone, yes this upset us but the most upsetting thing was when my mother in law went to check her sugar her machine was gone she is a diabetic. This really was upsetting and stressful for me and my in law. And when we went down to talk to the manager on duty he was very rude and upset as if we were bothering him. Everyone we came across did not care that we were having this problem nor did they try to rectify it. I have worked at a hotel in NY for over 30 years and I have traveled alot and this has been the worst experience I have come across ever. We also made an official report with the police department and the hotel did not care. Upon check out there was two families also complaining of items missing in there room … I highly recommend you stay away from this Hotel I have stood in Motels and have gotten better service than this. I would had put no stars but I had no choice to pick one.

Location is perfect, right across from the beach. All rooms have an ocean view which was nice. Rooms look and smell clean. Hotel was very clean lobby has a great smell it's very inviting. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pool area was our favorite. Just wish we had a microwave in our room but other than that everything was perfect. We will definitely be visiting the Sonesta again on our next trip back to Florida.

I had great experience at this hotel for 3 nights. Every day afternoon they have different special treat in the lobby for guests. Monday cookies are warm, they served two rounds of two different flavors. So yum! The hotel itself is ocean front 13 floors. Beautiful ocean view right across the street. Nice lobby and nice room with floor windows. The design of this hotel reminds me of sea shell and ocean waves. It's all white. Two gardens walking distance close by. With some restaurants nearby. Convenient location. Rooms all have no balcony. You can take towels to the public beach but no chair or umbrella provided. We had breakfast everyday morning in the Bistro it is nice. We ordered dinner by the pool it's very good! Staff is helpful and friendly. The only flaw I can think of is pool is too small and no coffee pot in the room.

Ocean view from any room?! Yes, it's true. Loved my stay here in November '15. The hotel sits at the end of "the strip", but it's still a short walk to a lot of fun destinations in FLL. The beach is also across the street and it wasn't very crowded in that section (granted it was November, but still 80+degrees). — What Winter? The room had a LOT of white and bright blue. It seemed like they wanted to be trendy like a W, but went for cheaper fixtures/furniture/etc. Regardless, the bed was comfortable and the room was worth the price I paid. The pool is a decent size, but there isn't much of a view from the pool since it sits behind the hotel. I noticed several people commented on valet parking. I picked up my rental car the night before I was due to checkout. I parked at a lot behind the hotel/across from the ice cream place for $20 overnight. I had no issues getting my car the next day and it saved me money!

The Hotel rooms and Staff were AMAZING! I will stay here everytime, we got a great deal for our date of travel. I appreciate that the price and fine print wasn't deceptive and the location, beach view, and overall atmosphere was Perfect!

This is a real nice place to stay and reasonably priced. Very recently remodeled old Holiday Inn, from what we were told by our Uber driver. Beds were fairly comfortable but not real plush. Some nicer, higher end materials and finishes on the property, but having a critical eye being in the building industry, you could see some of the shortcuts. The staff is real friendly and very accommodating. Slight snag in our reservation as we had requested a One Bed room and we were given a Double/Double. Called down to the front desk and the issue was resolved in minutes and a new room was assigned. Every room has a view, direct or indirect, of the beach. Not a very walkable area for shopping or eating but some good places within a reasonable distance. Pool area at first glance seems small but more than enough for having the beach and ocean right across the street. Will be a repeat customer for sure.

The Sonesta hotel is not a 4 star hotel. It is a 3.5 star hotel at best. It was a family vacation for spring break. The bathroom was dirty when we checked in, they couldn't get the Nickolodeon channel at all, and the pool is ridiculously small for the size hotel. I had issues with my hair drier and called for one and never got it. I would call for valet and they didn't get the message. The pool was packed and there were no servers at all, just one bartender for everyone. We hated it. However, one thing that made up for a lot of it was Andie, one of the bartenders. She is awesome and really went out of her way to please. I wanted to have a martini I had at a Vegas hotel and she called them to get the recipe which I so appreciated. One of the nicest people who genuinely cares about her customers and it really shows. She made up for all the.

Omg, you guys should try their orange juice. It is Amazing, I've been to a lot of countries and cities, and I think I've had the best orange juice there. Their rooms are very good, I didn't have one problem here, the staff was friendly and yea you have to pay for parking but it's worth it because it's convenient and near the beach. Having never been to Fort Lauderdale before, we knew nothing about the area and could only go by other reviews and Google Street view to check out the area before we stayed. After getting to the hotel we were pleasantly surprised to find that it was right across the street from a very nice beach. From what we could tell almost all the rooms have an ocean view, ours had a very large window with an unobstructed view of the ocean! The view was fantastic! Hotel staff was extremely accommodating and even sent up a complimentary bottle of Champagne with chocolate covered strawberries, when they heard it was our anniversary! The room was smaller, but that was fine with us as we spent more time away than at the hotel. There are multiple little shops, bars, a state park, and eateries within walking distance. There is also a decent shopping mall under a mile away as well. We were even able to walk to a Publix for for some essentials that we forgot. I would highly recommend this Hotel for how clean it was, the Staff were excellent, the location was great, the view was incredible, and we would definitely stay again.

Room not ready, plumbing issues. Valet parking additional $30 a night & plus day fees. Free parking at most of 3 star and even 2 star hotels on the strip. Parking, plus room rates places this hotel in 5 star pricing. Workout equipment not functioning. Pool area in picture not as seen on site. Workers lower room temperature when they come to clean room. Do not go there in winter. They try to save money but, charge you every way they can. I recommend a hotel with at least 90% recommended on hotwire. This was 85% recommended at the time. All this hotel has is a view. You cannot do anything with a view. When your done looking, you will be upset.

Nice location on the beach. Many options nearby to eat. Friendly staff. Room has great view of the ocean. The only issues are small baths and small pool area.

I stayed for 1 night in January 2016. As other reviews as mentioned, there's not many parking options in the area, and it will cost $30 per night to park your car at the hotel (valet service only). Upon check-in, my non-smoking room smelled like smoke, and it also had no curtains for the window. The staff at the desk were friendly and I was able to switch to another room without a problem.

Ocean views. Clean, well equipped rooms. Friendly helpful staff. Beach feels almost private as all other hotels are either a few blocks south or north of here. If you have a car, it's kinda expensive (I'm thinking it was $30/day) but we played golf while there so no choice. Can walk to shops, strip, great restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Great views of the ocean. Pool was a bit small and basic for the hotel, but the area was clean. Rooms were wonderful and a comfortable bed. Service was pretty good, no complaints but not as friendly as other places might be. Enjoyed the nightly events they held around happy hour.

Stayed here for a wedding. Clean hotel, great area, worst service I've had at a hotel in my entire life. Stay away.

The hotel is nice and is right on the beach (across the street). The room was clean and updated, but the window seemed small for ocean view — they also can't be opened. There aren't any rooms at the hotel that don't have ocean views. Pool is small but they allow you to use their towels for the beach. Hallway noise was loud from other guests, especially at night. Food at the hotel restaurant is expensive, especially for what you get — I would suggest walking just around the corner where there are plenty of inexpensive options to choose from. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would come back.

$30 per night to park your car is where it all started. Our first night our neighbors smoked and filled our room at 12am with cigarette smoke in a non-smoking room. We were moved, which was wonderful… however the room had stains all over the furniture, hand prints that literally looked like blood on the walls and on the furniture. It was gross. The cleaning of this hotel leaves so much to be desired. This is my second time here and next time I will not being staying at Sonesta.

Would definately return. From Suzette at the front counter to Oneish at the valet, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Rooms were clean and modern, keep up the good work.

Rooms are a decent size and clean; amenities leave quite a bit to be desired. Beds are too soft and sunken. Service is friendly and helpful if a bit slow. This is definitely a party hotel; expect late nights and plenty of noise.

Have been to many hotels on business trip and this one is definitely the worst one. Frankly speaking, the hotel facility is not bad, but people here are the rudest and worst I have ever seen, especially the manager Gita. When I checked in the hotel, I asked to change to higher floor to have a quitter room and better view but the front desk told me they had special event that day so I have to come back tomorrow to change to higher floor (it was supposed to be an ocean view room but I could only see the corner of the sea in my room). I was fine with this arrangement but a little concerned that there would be no available room since tomorrow was Friday. But the front desk told me since I was not satisfied with my room they would definitely change that for me. But when I came back the other day, they told me they were fully booked. I was very a little bit upset with that so I decided to talked to the manager about filing a complain about this issue. The manager told me first she did not believe what I said; second, there is no formal complication process. Furthermore, I was very upset so I raised my voice a little bit and she said she was no longer wanted to talk to me I could come back another day if I want (We wasn't at the front desk at this moment but near a corner of the lobby so that it caused less disruption to other customers. ). I was shocked by her reaction and insist complaining this issue to her supervisor.

Nice hotel. We stayed 1102 beautiful ocean view. Hotel smells very good everywhere. Service was very good from front desk, restaurant to Valet. Buffet was good. They serve really Natural Orange Juice. No noise at all and we stayed friday night. Gave 4 stars because Showers need better housekeeping but we told the front desk and said will take care of it. Will stay there again.

Got upgraded to a "Junior Suite" when we arrived early and our planned room wasn't ready. Great views. You have to cross a busy street to get to the beach but we didn't mind. There was a lot of noise coming from the penthouse suite one night we got back, almost had to call and complain. Call to get your room made up, sometimes we came back from the beach at 3-4pm and the maid service still hadn't come through. If you're looking forward to mostly relax on the beach and not too much else, this isn't a bad choice.

Hotel has style. We stayed on the tenth floor, great view and was clean! Food was not the best and not to sure about the staff at desk or any other staff members. I did at one point have to tell them there was sand on the tile floor in front of the elevator and when we returned it was cleaned. Just didn't have to speak with the staff much but they were there if I needed them. Valet service is $30 a day but well worth it since you have to pay for parking everywhere. They unload your luggage and check your car in immediately when you arrive. You can request your car anytime when you need it they will retrieve it for you with a smile. O'niesh was also very helpful with restaurants and beaches. We really recommend this hotel.

I stayed in room 520 from dates feburary 4, 2015 through feburary 7, 2015. I was woken up each hour from 1am to 4am by loud staff and people in the hallway. I called the front desk at 1 am, 2am, and 3am to tell them the people in the next room 519 were slamming their doors and making noise. They sent over security to investigate, but the noise did not stop. The people in room 519 were bringing over stacks of white bathroom towels folded in grocery carts at 3am. They then brought over a shopping cart of toiletries and storing them in their room. At 3am, I told the management to move me to another room. They stated that the hotel was full and can not give me another room. This was unlikely as its in Feb and off season. I then decided to go downstairs and sleep on the couch in the lobby as it was more quiet there. I had an important business meeting the next day at 7:45am but could not mentally prepare my self for the meeting. My trip was a failure because of staying at this hotel. Also, the breakfast is 18 dollars — definately not worth it. Theres a 24hour cafe/pizza joint that has really good food at the corner of the street for about 7-10 dollars. Next time I come for a meeting, I probably can get more peace and quiet at a motel than the hotel sonesta. I will never stay here again.

I recommend you NOT host an event here. This was my third year and I was treated like someone who had never been there and was only spending a dollar! HORRIBLE! Jeff, my banquet manager, Mark, my AV guy and the serving staff were terrific, as was the food. The process of getting to the event is VERY painful. I will not be back : (.

The place looks great, very new age decor, but the staff is very much NOT helpful. No one seems to know whats going on and never once tried to inform us of any amenities. The room is small, great view, but just not satisfying. The bed has a feather stuffed comforter, that's great but ours had a hole in it and feathers were all over us and the room. The shower has no door and the head is mounted on the ceiling, looks cool, but doesn't ever wash out the shampoo from your hair, the sink is square and flat, again looks cool, but nothing drains out so when you brush your teeth or shave all that gunk is left in the sink. Two power outlets and the Wi-Fi sucks. Again, no service from anyone and when there was a question about the bill, (because they took 3 days plus $150 out immediately upon check in) the staff plays dumb and we still haven't gotten back the money from us checking out early, no one even tried to make us happy or tried to get us to stay, they didn't seem to want business. Oh, and lots of parties going on and people who weren't staying there all over the lobby and tieing up the elevators, making noise all night long. NEVER EVER AGAIN, go to the Atlantic,,, simply fantastic.

Very bad hotel! Very bad staff! Hotel sold penthouse for party. I didn't warn about this party before taking keys from room. From 5pm I heard loud music and dancing drunk people, therefore I left from my room to the street. When I back to my room at 11pm — I heard what party didn't finished. I asked reception about this — they said only "Sorry" and nothing else. They didn't something for stopped this horror — only 'sorry'. At the 12am with headache I asked again staff — nothing. Only at 0:45am after I said about call to police staff stopped this party.
