They made it a Great visit. All Accommodation from house cleaning to breakfast.!

Excellent service by the housekeeping, everyone friendly and respectful. Will go there from now on. Prices are great! Clean rooms, pool side kids loved it.

If I could give this place less than one star, I would. Don't let looks deceive you. When you walk in, you think this is a decent place. When you enter your room, you think it's a decent room. The beds were super, duper comfortable. The problem was, none of us got any sleep, despite being exhausted. Why? COCKROACHES! MANY OF THEM! Under the fridge, when we moved it around midnight to plug something in. Then, they were on the walls. Couldn't get a different room. Moved our stuff away from the roaches & off the floor & laid awake in bed all night, totally grossed out. And the air conditioner was loud and ran all night, continuously. Nope. Don't stay here. Consider yourself warned.

Very nice hotel. Beds are comfortable, large breakfast buffet with hot and cold items, pool is just right, rooms are spacious. Great rates too!

9/5/18 Currently The Floridian has refused attempts to speak with the Better Business Bureau about its roach infestation. The management has been completely negligent in responding to me as well. I contacted the Floridian asking for Manager Robert G. And I was told he doesn't work there. Company has no integrity. Floridian has ROACHES! THREE rooms 214, 303, 339 from 7/19-7/21. Two of which had roaches. And they refused to refund me or pay for another hotel. Stay at your own risk. Update 8/8/18 No one has reached out to me directly. I've called Robert G the manager per a response to my review and I was told no one by that name worked there. Here's the info from the Better Business Bureau.

One star because ZERO is not possible. When we entered the room it smelt like cigarettes, Our family rented a total of 5 rooms and there was Bed bugs, Cockroaches, Disgusting air vents, broken lamps, and Dirty showers to the point where we all bathed with our sandals on. Also, When we showed the videos and the Employee that came into the rooms clearly saw all the cockroaches and bed bugs he informed the Manager and the Manager told his employee he was not doing his job right? What the actual hell? The Manager wanted to act brand new saying they didnt have any when we had the evidence.

Had a great stay there was wonderful recommend this place.

Service is above par. Room is clean and cozy with decent furniture. Air Conditioners are not in great working order. Hotel is no frills. It's in need of a renovation. The only usable power outlets are across the room from the bed. Shower heads need replacing. Lamps need updated. Not the best and not the worst place I've stayed.

It's a hotel that will provide you with the essentials. Yes it has a pool and a gym, I must say that the cleanliness of the bathrooms were much appreciated but the overlook of the hotel looks like it needs a good refreshing. Most of our lamps didn't work, the furniture in the room are missing handles and are in bad shape. We only had to stay a night so not much was mentioned. The issue that did catch my attention was the fact that this hotel and many more apparently, use polystyrene plates, bowls and cups and plastic cutlery to serve breakfast in the morning. The amount of waste that is created and hazard to the environment is beyond me. Never mind the tacky image of the hotel.

Plan ahead book rooms online great breakfast. Security… heated pool … clean towels… great to bring kids.

Premise: The 3 stars are due to the price paid for one night, if it had cost even $20 more, the vote would have been 2 stars.
The location is good for those who want to visit the Everglades or, like us, leave early in the morning to go to the Keys.
The rooms should definitely be improved, both in the furnishings and in the cleaning (to use the phone I had to use the tissues as a handle because the handle and thread were completely brown stains), the bathroom decent though as far as the Shower was impossible to establish a constant temperature and a uniform jet. Soundproof the room as lacking in all these hotel/motel with stained glass that give directly to the parking lot.
The breakfast is good, availability of sweet and salty with cold, hot dishes and fruits available.
For one night it is an acceptable solution if found at a competitive price.

This place wasn't the greatest, but you get value for the price. There's a continental breakfast and pretty comfortable beds. The pool is pretty nasty looking, and the AC basically couldn't turn off and was blowing musty air. The bathtub was rusty, but the room seemed pretty clean aside from that.

It is a decent hotel for the money. I've stayed here twice and my biggest complaint would be the showers. The pressure is pretty bad. And the place could certainly use some updating but all in all I like it and would definitely stay again.

Everything you need is available.
Room and cleanliness is OK. You see the age but is not so bad.
The beds are very comfortable.
A pool is available, in the courtyard with a few palm trees around, you don't notice that you are in town and there are no spectators from outside.
Breakfast is good. Scrambled eggs, sausages and stuff like potato pancakes as hot food. Kellogs, Jam, waffles (finished), etc.
Very good was the fresh fruit salad, very good and fresh tasted.
Can recommend the hotel in any case and we would also come back because price/performance here is very good.

Very nice motel. A star deduction for the carpet in the room needs a basic cleaning! Otherwise it is clean. Very very dear staff and very polite. Pool was very good. Breakfast is good, unfortunately all with disposable utensils. Great value for the price.

First of all for the price which we paid this is a reasonable hotel. Location: If you want to visit Everglades or Biscayne National Park Park, this hotel is very close. It is 45 min drive Miami if there are no traffic. We stayed on March during spring break and the traffic was heavy to Miami, it took us 1 hour 15 to reach Miami Beach. There are some good restaurants (Mario serves Cuban food), Taco Bell (for budget lovers). These are some of the restaurants we went. There are other hotels too. Rooms: decent rooms, nothing impressive. The biggest disappointment was the shower. The showers is the bathroom was worse we had a hard time to take a shower, it was dripping. They should definitely look into improving the showers. Overall a nice deal for 60 dollars a night during spring break.

It has come in the years and the cleanliness leaves nothing to be desired. Would not recommend it to anyone.

Staff is nice. The rooms are dated but beds are comfortable. It is nice having scrambled eggs, sausage and fresh fruit available at the free continental breakfast.

It's a no-nonsense, no frills hotel. The service was good but there were some undesirable people talking loudly outside our door to the point where we didn't feel comfortable staying. It was a very busy weekend and wasn't the hotel's fault but we didn't end up staying the night. The rooms are a little dated but the other reviews about the beds are true (they are super comfortable! )

From the outside, the hotel actually looks quite good too, the entrance is OK but the rooms are unfortunately not something in the years come closets curtains etc. Also kônnte the air conditioning times get a cleaning. This is a non-smoking hotel Nevertheless, it has always smelled of grass in the room. The breakfast.

Located directly on the US1. Room with 2 king beds on the first floor directly to the courtyard with swimming pool. Silent — no cars heard. As there is no lift, suitcase towing was announced. Everything is relatively clean but with age-related wear and tear, such as shower only hot or cold, air conditioning noisy and müffelig, fridge not really cold, etc. Hair dryer was missing. Big LED TV, microwave, good beds, coffee machine with 2 bags of coffee, good breakfast (unfortunately only until 10 am) with real eggs, fruit salad, activa yogurt and DECAF coffee. The pool area is nicely designed. Unfortunately, too few conditions. The fitness room has 4 appliances. Unfortunately no dumbbells or devices for the upper body.

Great experience at the hotel. No bugs, which was my biggest concern. They’re obviously going to be a more basic hotel, but the room looked and smelled clean. Room was cleaned every day. Staff was very helpful, but not always the most friendly (it is Florida, so didn’t have high expectations there). Pool was cute and clean, lots of parking. Overall, great experience and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Hard to beat the prices for the area.

Great experience. The beds are the best part. Super soft, like laying on a cloud. Great to sink into and sleep after a long day or night of work.

I really did like the place quite a lot their rooms were clean. And the complimentary breakfast was very good and quite Bountiful I got more than enough to eat and it was a wonderful way to start the day. For the price I think it was a bargain.

UPDATE: Basic rooms. Not super clean. No phone in the room. The breakfast is pretty decent. I should note that we've stayed here 3 times so I'm not saying don't come here. Just set your expectations and enjoy Homestead, and the sights.

For 1 — 2 nights i. O. Breakfast was very crowded and the tables very dirty. Breakfast selection also low. Pool was freezing. At night, there was noise outside.

We stayed with 2 more families for 2 days. The lady at the reception had no idea how to book a room through the computer. Which made me realize that I was waiting for 20 minutes while the guest before me was checking in : — (. In my case, she had to call her manager from another location — who took 20 minutes to come over. Even the Manager kept confusing us and himself on how to allocate three room together. After 20 more minutes — we found out that we did not have the rooms together. So, not a welcoming experience. Breakfast — Do not even look at it. Uncooked and not served neatly. We all ate outside for all the two mornings. Floridian — the room shall have 4 bathing towels, 4 smaller towels, and 4 hand towels. The pool shall have pool towels. There shall also be a trash can in the room under the study table besides the one in bathroom. Huge improvement scope in how the breakfast is cooked and served — which just needs effort and no additional $. Dear Owner of Floridian — Take care of your fort, its shaking…

Front desk lady didn’t knew how to operate the computer and decided to call the supervisor who drive in from somewhere outside and was in a hurry to get out and therefore was very short on listening and more on telling. He kept confusing us for another guest and it took us a while (and a little loud voice) to make him understand that he is mistaken. After about 1 hour at the front desk and not so nice experience with supervisor I walked into one of the worst room for a price I was paying. Carpet in the room was so old that any amount of vacuuming was useless on it anymore. Walking on it barefoot would give one creeps. The hot water was leaking in the tub and only 2 lights out of 8 lights in the room were working. The maintenance guy was much better than the first two person I met and he fixed the water and managed to bring 2 more lights to life but couldn’t make all of them work. The pool area was nice and kids enjoyed it. They had a few options for breakfast but I wouldn’t recommend eating there because it was shabbily cooked (or undercooked). For the two days we stayed there we ate breakfast outside.

Stylin' out. The art in the rooms is swanky! I like their continental breakfast. I slept a little, drove around a little. There is a good restaurant down the road to the north, a Cuban place or something. I had a crazy steak there.

It was good, pretty clean and comfortable beds. The TV didn't work initially, but they had a repair man fix it really quickly. Also the phone apparently can't be plugged in, as there wasn't a line to use. Overall though, pretty decent.

The rooms were semi-clean. The shower curtain in the shower smelled like mold and mildew. There was no phone in the room. The cable channels were horrible, no signal. Old tv's. No comforters to cover your self with. No parking. Called front desk more than 10 times from my personal phone and no answer either time. Yet all these issues and they want to charge $100+ a night. It used to be a descent hotel, but I will never stay here again!

Did two nights there actually enjoy a few weeks ago.
A super nice receptionist provided a room on the ground floor.
The pool was great.
And if you know the jammer valley of the AmiBreakfast — will call there a really good aha — experience his own — really good and diverse.
In addition, a gigantic supermarket provides the rest of the food nearby (300 m).
If Florida and Homestead — again this great hotel.

Before I begin this review know that I'm not some rich putz on vacation I'm driving relief supplies to key west a donation my family is making sooooooooo I stop at this hotel and at first everything is great I setup up a wake up at 6 am so the room is awesome but then the tub don't drain only one of us get a shower then I wake up at 9:30 on my own late so now by the time I get to the keys to make the drop and get back up to Miami I've missed my flight mind you that sets me back 500 bucks for two more airline tickets but I woke up with fleas ALL OVER ME so after I wake up late covered in fleas I go to the office and complain politely the gm says he will check the room comes to the room and I'm telling him with out the wake up call I got buy new airline tickets this dudes advice was to hurry up and leave… so me being the man I am I'm like excuse the fu** out of me… your 100 dollar hotel room just got me covered in flea bites and cost me 500 in airline tickets and your advice to me is hurry up and leave this convo is over so I go to the office to speak with someone else and this dude calls the cops on me because he offered me a bottle of wine and an apology and I said uhh no dude.

20 minutes to Q arrives the hot water to the shower, bad atmosphere in the area, there are people living as if it were pension.

This is a motel not hotel. In addition they gave me the room of someone else who was already installed. That person told me they did the same thing to him when they arrived… No privacy because your room door and window are on an open hall way. I definitely don’t recommend going for a special occasion.

Kind of art deco. We like. Spacious rooms. Clean. Good service. Nice lounge.

I have stayed there several times now for business and will continue. The bedding is great, rooms are clean and well appointed. Staff from the desk to the breakfast girls are very accommodating and friendly. Hot breakfast eggs, sausage, fresh cut fruit, lots of choices. Center of town and close to everything. Good place.

Great Stay! Perfect location for getting to the Keys. We stayed four nights and found it to be Clean, comfortable and having wonderful staff. Great breakfast every morning and clean, sparkling pool. Will stay again and recommend to others!

Great food. Got upgraded to an executive room. Definitely worth it. Biggest issue was that the room always seemed to have warm spots. (I know sounds weird) It would be cold in most spots but in some areas the AC never quite covered it so it was always kinda warm. Bed was comfy and clean. Plenty of towels. THE WEIRDEST PART was that there were a lot of pictures of partially dressed or erotically dressed women on the walls. 6 large images in the room.

Wow, one of the best hotels I've stayed at while I've been traveling and I've been to a lot! Straight away the staff were very friendly, the place is extremely clean and looks very nice! The breakfast service is amazing with lots of choices along with many other helpful amenities! Highly impressed with the Floridan hotel and would highly recommend! All I'd say is the room was abit dull due to no proper ceiling lighting other than lamps but everything else was perfect!

Great cheap price for excellent hotel! Very soft comfy bed, fridge & microwave in room. We didnt go in the pool, but looked nice. Free breakfast included scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage, cereals, toast/waffles/bagels/donuts, juices & coffee. Friendly staff too!

This hotel was an amazing find! Rooms are clean with the most comfortable new beds, grounds are well kept and the breakfast is great. Would never expect to have such a great experience for such a great price. I reserved our rooms a few weeks in advance and we arrived a few hours before check in, the front desk staff had our rooms cleaned and allowed us to check in early. My family will most certainly be staying here again. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Pay 5 nights and the service was excellent I highly recommend and close to the callus, the hotel is super comfortable and close to shopping, pharmacy and super market.

We got locked out of our hotel room because the card reader ran out of batteries. As a result, we missed out on diving for the day. The repair required a Phillips head screwdriver, a couple of AA batteries, and three minutes but the management acted like we had to wait on a repair man. We waited for the repair man, missed our dive, and he fixed it. Talked to the repair man and apparently this happens ALL THE TIME. But the management doesn't care. He offered us $10 off our next visit for ruining our day. Hooray!

Don't confuse this one with the one in Orlando. Our stay was great. The breakfast is one of the best continentals I've had. The room was clean, some discoloring on the drop ceiling above the shower, the housekeeping did a great job, absolutely no issues at an great price.

My experience was horrible. If you are a Black African American, do not stay at this hotel. There is discrimination going on there. Between the staff and security. Every night that I was outside relaxing I was asked if I had a room there by the security officer. I noticed that I was the only one he asked that question. The bathroom ceiling was full of mold. The housekeepers barely like to clean the room. When they did clean the room seems as if she had a attitude while doing it. Very bad experience.

Me and my wife had low expectations for this place. We read prior reviews and we are so glad that we disregarded them. The manager Segundo is a saint. He not only saved us a ton of money, but he also provided us with an experience we will never forget. I recommend this place above any other Hotel in the area based on the outstanding care and support from the staff and especially Segundo.

Older property but pretty well maintained. Clean. Prices reasonable and close to Everglades. Staff accommodating. They really put the food out for breakfast.

The rooms have been redone in a way that you can tell they used to be old, but now look nice. The outside was nice, although we were on the second floor and anytime anyone walked by our room it was very loud. My biggest complaint was the staff. I booked with Expedia for 2 nights, and I called them to change it to 1. I was sure to call a week in advance to leave plenty of time for such changes. They told me I had to call Expedia, which I did. However, when I got there they told me I missed my reservation, and they had given away my room. I called Expedia, and they were very nice and helpful and told me my room had been changed and gave me the confirmation number again. When I went back I asked the manager to recheck, which he did. When he rechecked he found the reservation and sulkily gave us our stuff. This whole thing took about 30 minutes, and my husband and I had just spent all day biking 15 miles through the Everglades so we were tired and sunburnt already. But, rooms were clean, the pool was nice, and the breakfast was good. It was too expensive for the quality, but that was all of the hotels in the area.

Clean rooms, friendly and cordial, services and quality according to the price. Good location if you are on your way to The Keys. The breakfast is plentiful and varied. We are very satisfied.

The hotel room was very clean and the staff was excellent but there was roaches in the room so they moved me into another one and we came back and the sink was full of ants! And the side of the walls and baseboards was also full with ants. I had got a refund and left there and went to another hotel! …

Place was good. Manager Segundo is horrible and greedy person. If you have any deal, he has all possible ways to not give it to you. He is not at all courteous to customers. There may not be proper communication between staff there. I did enter Promo code and did not get my discount when I did online reservation. However, I called and got the discount. After I stayed in hotel, I see there was no discount. This idiot guy Segundo says that cannot be given and charged me extra. He also said, it is a free country and I have a way to go and stay at other place, Hotel business does not stop because of me. Just for that guy Segundo, you may feel bad. If you ever have to deal with that nonsense guy.

Rooms were hard to come by in Homestead and the hotel room was quiet and well kept.

I was unhappy, beds uncomfortable, far away from Miami take an hour to get there and Wifi is suck so slow. I wish I had thought about before I spent my money.

I was was unhappy with my stay. We canceled the last two nights and found some place better for the same money. The website states newly decorated. Pillows sheets comforters frig and microwave were nice but old furniture the room smelled clean but the lobby smelled funny. What really upset me was I could not even take a hot shower. The tub had no hot water and the toilets were hard to flush. The laundry room has 2 dryers and 2 washers one washer was broken and one dryer never dryed the clothes we had to put it in the second one after two trys on the first one. And we had to wait 3 hrs to use them. I would not recommend this hotel. By the look of the pictures on the website I thought it would be ok and by the review's. Boy was I wrong.

I pass the 7 best days of my life in hwre. The place it's good. But I really met the love of my life in here.

Nice room good service, great breakfast and good prices. Were now 6 days here and would come here again. Location is very good not central but it is right because key's and miami shopping directly over. Top.
