Great hotel and low-key asf. The only issue is that there aren't any "smoking" rooms, so brace yourself. As far as that, the rooms are nice and clean and room service is great. At night it's quiet enough to sleep and the rooms feel great with both a ceiling fan and air conditioner. I would stay here again in the future. I highly recommend.

I had a 12 Day stay at this Hotel. Highly Satisfied. Nice staff. Very Clean and my room was cleaned by Staff everyday.

Seedy area. At least they have all night security guard. Breakfast was mediocre. Thimble sized pool.

I've stayed at multiple places in Miami and they're pretty much all somewhat sketchy, dirty, and loud. This is the first place that it wasn't so bad. Rooms were clean and well-maintained, and I was able to sleep through the night without any noise. This wasn't just one day trip either so the consistency was pretty nice. Next time I come I will be sure to stay here, haha. Literally loved the change, I recommend staying here! You shouldn't have any problems.

Best escape from the crappy strip club next door. I should have driven past the exit than experience this neighborhood, but I felt safe here. Thank you for giving me asylum.

It is a nice and simple 3 star hotel. For restful nights It is one of the best you can find. It is a family run hotel, clean, comfortable mattresses, fresh and new towels and sheets. Breakfast will find cereal, juice, coffee, apples, waffles, and hard-boiled eggs. I could have a little more fresh fruit. Good location in downtown Miami.

Love the place at first we had a couple issues but the issues were taken care of right away really love the rooms nice place to stay at for the price.

Decent room. Lots of noise coming from another room, door slamming, someone yelling, crying, water pipe running sound. Best part front desk called numerous times after I feel asleep l to check if we had water leaking. Phone would stop ringing when I got up to get it. Bring ear plugs! Stayed there mid December.

It's a very nice Hotel. It has for breakfast and has pool. It has near Southland Mall, Mc Donals next door, 3 petrol stations and as if it were little US1 and Turpike are Cerquisima. Very well located. There is also a public transportation stop.

Giving this hotel a one star only because the staff was friendly. First room we were in the blanket had stains on it. The front desk stated they didnt have any clean comforters and gave us blankets. We changed to a new room the next morning. This room had tiny bugs in the bathroom. Called front desk they stated there were no other rooms available. They could send someone to spray or we could check out of the hotel. Another family member had a roach on their ceiling. I would not recommend this hotel.

Not sure what deh rass people on here talking about but the hotel is clean, the room very clean and it’s quiet. Need more parking but overall better than I expected based on the reviews! Goes to show, you can’t listen to what people say.

Rooms are good and service is good as well. Swimming pool is a bit small but definitely a good place to rest. Breakfast is simple but enough to start you up.

Nice staff, decent breakfast for continental, awesome I could bring my dog. Way overpriced but that's the area in general. Walls a little thin.

First night spent there was bad. They did not have air mattress for 1 more person. The room was small. It was for a wedding and the bridesmaid and bride were supposed to get dress and have picture taken. The next day the y arranged for us to get a bigger room. It was really clean and we all love it.

La Quinta in Cutler Bay is very nice, from the staff to the interior building. We had no problems and would recommend to others.

DOG FRIENDLY! Love this place! Near Miami, the Keyes, and the Everglades! My cocker spaniel feels at home there and can stay at no extra charge. It is Vacation Central!

Located in a rough neighborhood, but the motel was clean, no bedbugs or critters. The employees are very courteous and helpful and as with ALL la quinta's… dogs are welcome. We had a nice stay.

The place was clean and quiet… Stayed 4 nights and it was just fine…

When I walked into the hotel, there was a weird smell in the air, but I ignored it thinking that the smell was just the lobby. But when I got to my room the stench got even worse. There's no way to describe the smell, but I don't think anyone wants to be in a room that smells like a dead rat. The hotel seemed really old and I don't think the staff do a good job of cleaning your room. One of the chairs had marks on it, like someone spilled something, and the lights were scratched up. Overall, for the price this hotel is worth, this is one of the worst deals you can get. Way overpriced for what it actually is. This hotel would probably be in the $70-80 range. I suggest not to go here and look for other hotels. Although I stayed for just one day, I will never come here again. The hotel needs a complete renovation with new rooms, carpets, beds, everything.

I will never go here again. This location needs to clean the carpet throughout the halls and in the rooms, especially since it accepts PETS! The elevators smell like wet dogs and the rooms just have an unclean feel to them. The parking is horrible, very limited and dark. They have 1 security guard at night manning the parking lot, which tells me the location is bad. The cost is too high for that location! They need an all around makeover. Never again!

After a long drive down was told could not get the room because power was out. I would not have been so upset if it were for the nonchalant attude that was given by the guy at the desk me and my 3 small children had to spend the night in the car. In the morning I call talk to the manager who had the same nonchalant attude. Moving along get to the room turn on the shower and the shower head comes flying off almost hitting my son. I believe this will be my last stay at this hotel.

Even though this is only a 2-star hotel, the rooms are rather spacey, great value for the dollars spent. There is a pool here. Place is usually quiet at night. I like continental breakfast in the morning with two waffle makers in addition to the usual, it makes a good beginning of a day.

Pet friendly which was a A+ for us. Complementary breakfast only. Overall it was okay experience for a weekend stay.

Decided to give this hotel another chance after two terrible stays back in May and June of this year and I am happy to say that the difference is night and day. Stayed there for 6 days and noticed that lots of changes have taken pace to ensure safety. This time, I only saw decent people staying at the hotel. No weed smoking or drug dealings in the parking lot, no thugs hanging around the premises and no police precense. Kudos to Veronika, the new manager for a job well done turning this place around. Awesome job indeed. And of course I must mention the staff, the most amazing staff ever work at this hotel. They are very helpful and always ready to assist. And this time, the room was clean and had an amazing AC unit.

I was actually visiting a friend here, the only thing good about this place is the king bed. The parking sucks so does this location. When you walk into this place you can tell it needs a upgrade. The elevator all the way down to the carpet stinks. Please renovate this place.

Stayed overnight while on a road trip. Room was clean and comfortable. Appreciated the night-time security provided for my vehicle.

Clean hotel and very affordable. Nice location as it's about 30 minutes from the Everglades, 40 minutes from Key Largo, and 25 minutes from South Miami. There were some shady individuals loitering around the parking lot when we arrived though. Other than that, it was a decent experience since we spent most of our time adventuring.

Just sufficient. When the same fact case. The breakfast is plentiful, rooms cleaned every day (except our before last day). For the home should not expect too much. Anyone just enter hotel. Small parking.

Security is deplorable! this is a high risk hotel. No cameras and only blocks from the Ghetto. A herd of renegade black men were seen rifling through 4th floor late at night. Security appears in on the scam, as there were lookouts in the parking lot for the thieves. Reckless desk help, security, and ineffective police action put me and my guest at risk. No cameras at rear entrance, stairwell, or 4th floor and the local hoodlums know it. High risk rape, theft, abuse situation. Desk help unhelpful to address or advise situation. Security ineffective. Risky, risky, risky!

Booked on 03/25/2016. I am a points member. My employees observed a German roach in the lobby by the water. We thought that was just a fluke. My employee woke up around 2:00 am with German roaches crawling on his arms inside his room on his bed. He turned the lights on and they were everywhere. On the floor, on the bed, in the bathroom crawling on the towels. It was HORRIBLE! We have pictures to prove it! They returned our money. So what! My employees lost sleep even though they were moved to another room in the middle of the night. Horrifying experience. This is the second experience from La Quinta. The other one is on Commercial Blvd. I asked for the manager to call me. Never received a call. I was also told in a casual manner that this is typical for Florida. Well I guess they did not realize I am not a tourist and lived in Florida for the past 25 years. It is NOT normal for German roaches in a Florida motel room! They were not Palmetto bugs. They were filthy German roaches. It seems they don't care. Next call is Irving Texas to Corporate.

We stayed on our way to Key West. Hotel room was spacious, beds extremely comfortably, staff professional and breakfast was good! Next door to a large mall with several restaurants. The accommodations always meet the needs of our 14 year old Shih Tzu. We were able to use our "free" night under their rewards program. We highly recommend this hotel.

My family and I moved from our house and were moving to Pensacola. We needed a place over night. We got there at about 3 am and got a room. The room was spacious and it was a double queen bed. The staff was nice the hotel was very clean and I would recommend the La Quinta in Cutler Bay, FL to any one.

This property is just putting the final touches on a complete remodel of what we understand used to be a Holiday Inn. Fresh paint and carpets, new room decor, and a variety of room models. Although they don't completely have a handle on breakfast yet, it is coming up to speed. Front desk, maintenance and maid service is quick to respond and well trained. The location is perfect for shopping and any type of restaurant you could imagine. No disappointments here!

Stayed four nights. Room was large and very clean and comfortable. All staff we had contact with were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Very handy to exit 12 of Florida turnpike and US 1.

The neighborhood is a bit rough, but it is south Miami so that should be expected. The hotel was very clean from the lobby area to the room. Very helpful staff at check-in and friendly at check-out. Shanice was especially helpful in holding my room for a late check-in and super friendly to me and other guests she dealt with. She even called the room several minutes after we arrived just to see if everything was acceptable with the room.

Very clean. They try hard to keep it nice. Fast Wi-Fi. Nice TVs. Breakfast was Ok. Have had better LaQuinta breakfasts. It's in a not so nice area and walking dogs was tricky (I didn't want to go out alone at night). Hard to find a grassy area on those busy streets. But none of that could be helped by the hotel.

Good deal. Everything was clean and the people very attentive.

Decent room, horrible Wi-Fi and tv. Both Wi-Fi and TV need help so that you can actually use the Wi-Fi and watch tv.

The hotel is very dated and the ac did not work correctly. I had booked 4 rooms and they charged me for 5. I called 5 times that day and each time was told they hadn't done anything wrong. The last time I called they said a manager would be in at 4. I called at 4 and was told they were running late. It was a total fiasco and finally 2 days later they figured out that they had billed someone elses' room to my card! I would have thought I would have been offered a discount on a future room. Worst customer service ever.

Dirty and messy. Cockroaches in the bathroom, the smell of cigarette smoke and air decomposed.

My experience here couple of days ago was nice. We booked rooms with two beds, and they are large and clean. About 3 hours to the keys if you leave earlier in the morning, probably around 8:00 — 8:30.

This Laquinta is no different from motel 6 next door. When I first arrived there was roaches in the hall way on the main level. My room looked nice but the odor was unbearable! Not even 3 minutes inside the room there was a roach. I told the front desk attendant an she said no there are no roaches here I took the roach to her. She screamed. The sterminater is robbing them blind.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stay in this place is infested with roaches the rooms were terrible and the area where they keep the food had dead roaches I suggest you don't stay here this was awful.

Although kinda far from the downtown Miami scene, my family loved it here. My 8 yr old loved making his own waffles every morning, my two yr old loved the pool, my husband loved the hd quality of the TV even though it was a small flat screen — and my mom and grandmother and I loooooved that south land mall was a 5 min drive away! The staff here is so so friendly. They also have military discount which is great :) mini fridge and thermostats control the room temp. Double bed Room was spacious enough to fit our playpen which was great. We very much enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back.

It's not worth the $102 a night.
