We had a wonderful 3-night stay, celebrating the New Year in the Mariposa Cabin at the Wild Horse Inn. The cabin was spacious, warm and comfortable. It was lovely to take long walks with our dog around the property and nearby neighborhood, then sit by the fireplace with a cup of coffee and one of the homemade cookies we picked up in the lodge. In the evenings, we watched one of the many movies available in the cabin or lodge library. Chris created delicious breakfast meals that we picked up and brought back to our cabin. She also provided information about places to snowshoe and suggested other activities in the area. We had been looking forward to this special getaway for months, and the Wild Horse Inn did not disappoint. We’ll be back!

We absolutely loved this bed & breakfast. We stayed in one of the cabins and it was extremely peaceful. Service was excellent. Breakfast was delicious.

We came up to Fraser to get away from town, enjoy the peace and each other for our 26th. We’ve never actually done a B&B but we’ve had a total blast! Our room has been lovely, private bathroom, room is super roomie, the bed is huge with plush pillow top and feather pillows. Breakfast was above expectations with 3pieces thick juicy bacon, pancakes, fresh fruit, dark coffee, super fresh and yummy! The birds and butterflies here are amazing. Highly recommend. Although would love to keep this place A Secret! Thank you Erica and Will!

We stayed at Wild horse Inn over the Christmas week and also got married there during that time. It was an amazing place, we absolutely loved it. We stayed in one of the cabins which was so great. We loved the hot tubs and the help yourself wine. The food was yummy and the Christmas day eggnog was a lovely addition. Will and Erica were awesome. We would highly recommend and look forward to staying there again.

We just had our wedding at Wild Horse Inn and start to finish it was absolutely flawless. The staff was more than accommodating. I can’t imagine any better personality than Donna’s to be the host of this inn. Her warmth and amazing breakfasts really made the weekend extra special. The views all around are stunning and the coziness of the cabins and lodge were exactly what we had dreamed of. We can’t wait to go back for anniversaries and family vacations. Thank you for everything.

There is no place quite like the wild horse inn. My family and I love coming here. The staff are amazing (especially Donna and Katie)! It is so beautiful, peaceful, clean, relaxing. My kids love sitting in the back yard taking in the amazing views and playing in the snow. It’s definitely a special place!

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Wild Horse Inn. Everyone working there was delightful and helpful. The cabin was well-appointed and comfortable. We loved being out in the quiet of nature and even had an unexpected visit from a porcupine! Highly recommended!

We attended a wedding here and it was beautiful. Breathtaking mountain and valley views. Wildflowers everywhere while we were there. The property easily accommodated 150 people for a wedding. The road to get there was paved and easily accessible. Shuttle service accommodated transportation from the Wild Horse Inn to both towns. Well worth the visit for the views alone.

We just had our wedding at the Wild Horse Inn. I cannot express how perfect it was. We were scoping out quite a few places and fell in love with the Wild Horse Inn! Donna, Katie and John went above and beyond to make sure us and our guests were comfortable and everything ran smoothly. We had around 175 guests and the majority of them complimented me on the venue and how charming and perfect it was. We are still on cloud nine from such an amazing weekend at the Wild Horse Inn. I highly recommend having a wedding here or just getting away here for a weekend. We will come back again for sure!

We took advantage of all wildhorses amenities! B&B and wedding venue/ reception! Private cabin, kid-friendly, dog-friendly, hot tub, cozy fireplace, private jacuzzi tub, delicious breakfast made for you! Heck, Donna even made my plate. As for the best wedding ever, from the coordinator Katie to the entire wild horse catering company. Donna The Innkeeper and John the owner period every single person was nice and treated us like family. Not to mention took care of all my family before and after the ceremony. This place does not deserve one bad review! If you can't enjoy the beauty, and can't be pleased by their hospitality, you don't deserve to be in the mountains. Such an unforgettable experience, we will definitely be back! Thanks again to Donna, John, Katie, and all the kind & helpful staff.

My husband and I stayed at Wild Horse Inn twice. The first time being May of 2017. Our first visit was remarkable. We stayed Thursday through Saturday and were lucky to be the only ones staying there! Katie was amazing… very sweet, polite and accommodating, and made us delicious breakfasts for both days. We loved having the peace and quiet being alone and the opportunity to sit by the fire, relax, read and talk. Our stay was amazing and just what we needed to escape the craziness of our lives. On this trip, we never saw the owner… only Katie. She made our stay enjoyable. However… The second trip (About 3 weeks ago) was less than amazing. It was LOUD for the majority of our stay. Granted, there were several other guests staying on our Saturday, Sunday and Monday stay. But even aside from the guests, the owner had a large group of friends over for nearly every Lunch and Dinner for our stay… and even between meals. There were several times we'd be sitting by the fire trying to read and relax and talk, and the noise and distractions from the owner's guests in the kitchen was so incredibly distracting that we went upstairs to our room to get some peace and quiet. It was STILL loud. Then, for breakfast, there were 3 slots to sign up for. We signed up for the one that nobody else had signed up for because we prefer to be alone and have a relaxing breakfast and talk with each other.

My wife and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary this past wknd and it was perfect! Flowers & champagne were in our room awaiting our arrival. Beautiful lodge with every attention to detail addressed. The chefs breakfast each morning was out of this world! Highly recommend and we can’t wait to plan our next visit!

Stayed there a few years ago. Clean. Comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The place is beautiful, and the price was right, too. As if there isn't enough to do with Winter Park, Granby, Grand Lake, and Rocky Mountain National Park nearby, they have books, games, and DVDs you can borrow. Looking forward to my next stay.

What a beautiful Inn! We stayed in the Meadowcreek cabin — complete with fireplace, a porch, frig & microwave, 2 person spa tub and a delicious breakfast every morning! We were here for a wedding, but the Wild Horse was a wonderful break for us, too! Spectacular mountain views from our cabin & throughout the property! Donna was very welcoming & helpful! Will definitely be making a return trip!

The Wild Horse Inn is a wonderful place to stay. Whether you want to hike, fish and explore nearby, or use this location as a base camp for exploring Rocky Mountain National Park, this is the place to stay. The comfortable rooms and cabins are appointed with everything you need. And the food? Delicious. We can't wait to come back!

Everything's about this place is amazing! My fiancée and I stayed here for a quiet weekend getaway. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were amazing, the location is perfect and beautiful. There are lots of fun outdoor activities nearby but also lots of space for hanging out and relaxing in the property. Also the bottomless wine and cookie jar were pretty great ;) I would recommend staying here to anyone!

I have stayed at B&B's before and never felt like I had to walk on egg shells around the staff. Not to mention we had to whisper in our room as the walls were extremely thin.

I could retire doing what these folks do! The lodge itself and the outer cabins are absolutely gorgeous. The staff was very attentive, the place was clean, and the views are breathtaking! We had friends get married here and every single detail was amazing. Would definitely recommend for a special event or event a romantic getaway. It's driving distance to great hiking trails and cross-country skiing.

Wild Horse Inn was a perfect spot for our honeymoon in the mountains. The cabin was beautiful and the people were incredibly hospitable. They helped us find the best places to eat, hike, and suggested some other awesome places to visit on our trip. The breakfast was delicious, and my husband especially loved the bottomless cookie jar ;). The location is very close to Winter Park and a short drive to the Rocky Mountain National Park. I would highly recommend Wild Horse Inn.

We very much enjoyed our stay 6/5 — 6/7, after skiing season and before summer festivals. The Inn is generally very quiet indoors and out, though we were grateful to have brought a small fan for white noise at night. Mornings were on the deck with coffee, surrounded by mountains and fresh air. Evenings were sipping complementary wine on the deck, enjoying the hot tub (alone), and watching a movie from their selection of DVDs. The complementary breakfasts were second to none; we're vegan, and John prepared excellent and creative food. Our bathroom window faced the front entry and had no curtain, so we did need to hang a towel over it for privacy. And the album of local restaurants' menus included menus of restaurants that are out of business, so call before you head into town. Otherwise, the Inn has easy access to hiking, biking, and picturesque views, dining, shopping, and more. Enjoy your stay!
