This place is the king of hostels. Super clean, staff is extremely friendly and they make you feel right at home. If you’re looking for a place super close to Breck Resort — this is it.

Fabulous place to stay! The Bivvi has hostel and private accommodations. I stayed in a shared bunkroom on a day off from hiking the Colorado Trail. The vibe here is casual and very chill. The greatroom is a nice place to sit by the fireplace, read, or chat with other guests. There is a hot tub on the deck with a view of the mountains. There is a TV room with books as well, in case you need entertainment. There is a fridge, microwave and dishes for guests food. There is beer and wine available from 4 to 10 pm, free Wi-Fi and free hot breakfast. The staff is relaxed and very nice. It really feels like home. There is also a free local bus that goes downtown and back. I would visit here again and again.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night on a road trip though CO. We absolutely loved it! We opted for a private room — it was so clean, comfortable, and provided all the necessary amenities. Hands down the best breakfast we had all trip. This place has an awesome home-y vibe and you get to meet a ton of cool, adventure-driven people! Oh, and the sunrise/sunset views from the deck are incredible! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a non-commercial, more meaningful accommodation.

Stayed here for 3 nights in early August 2018. Had an amazing experience in a 6 bunk shared room. I enjoyed their breakfast cooked fresh every morning and sat out on the balcony using the Wi-Fi to get work done during the day and enjoy the view. It was great meeting many new people in Breckenridge. This was the perfect place to stay for affordable lodging while traveling solo.

A perfect little place to enjoy Breckenridge. Friendly staff and super comfortable little rooms. We opted for the hot tub suite with a fireplace and was not disappointed. Comfortable, quanit, and super romantic. Would definitely stay again.

Where do I begin? The hot tub faces the mountain, beer on tap, super chill atmosphere. I’ve never shared a room w/ strangers and I was completely fine and actually sleep the whole night. So much to do also.

Nice clean rooms, each room with it's own bathroom. Good breakfast. Beautiful common area with fireplace and good view of the mountains. Great price.

Love staying here. I've stayed in the private and shared rooms. Great location to the bus to get into town/lifts. Short walk to south end of downtown. Breakfast is always great and I've never met an unhappy staff member.

Stayed 4 nights total, been to a lot of hostals in the US, this is my favorite. You enter, its clean, open, bright, the lovely workers Balach, Eli, Brian, Cassie, (Brad too! ) were so wonderful! Rooms clean, free lockers, grill open to guests, fridge for food. The hot tub is clean hot and has a stunning view! Beer on tap, and nice wine. Breakfast is filling and options for all dietary needs (fruit, granola, meat, ect). For $35, a bunk with unlimited towels, soaps and breakfast, very affordable and worth it! 5 minute walk from main street, and free busses all around the county! Thank you so much for the memories! This place is great. I've only been in the off season but had some really great times. Their staff is helpful and kind and I've met some super cool guests here. Don't go expecting the Taj Mahal. It's a hostel people, this is a great *value*, you personally may prefer the five star resort down the road.

Wow this is nice. Free breakfast clean close to everything I'm staying here again see you all there it's a blast.

My wife and I stayed in the room with the hot tub it was an awesome experience will definitely come back again nothing to complain about.

OMG I Soo love this place, my husband and I spent Valentine's Day there, the atmosphere was great, the employees were awesome, the breakfast was amazing the only thing that was a negative I wish I had a few extra days to stay longer, but I definitely be making another trip here.

Stayed this weekend 1/26/18, interesting for sure. People were friendly, the place was clean and the beds comfy. Fortunately we had good roommates. All in all I would recommend it!

The Bivvi was the perfect accommodation for access to Breckenridge and to meet fellow skiiers/boarders. Friendly staff, comfortable beds (for a hostel of course), hot tub with a view, beer on tap, and more. Highly recommended.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Bivvi! The room was clean and cozy. Breakfast is made each morning and is a tasty, good sized meal. Enjoyed meeting people of all ages from near and far. This place just has a good vibe.

We are so thankful to have found this wonderful place. Our bed was super comfy and the room was perfect. Our balcony looked out at the mts. Homemade breakfast is such a great way to start the day on the road.

Stayed in a private room and it was very nice for a hostel. I can't speak to the bunked rooms, but the private rooms are quite good. The staff is super friendly and it's a nice environment to meet fellow hikers/moutain bikers/ outdoor recreational it's.

The Bivouac is a great place to stay — I was flying solo, and I met friendly new people traveling the Colorado Trail, plus travelers from near and far. I even roomed with a family of Chicagoans like myself! It was my first time in a hostel, so I didn't know what to expect. The rooms were delightfully clean and well maintained. Also, little known secret, there's a second floor with couches and reading rooms. Also also, there's a fridge you can use. Also also also, they can do your laundry at a reasonable rate :D Hah, so many secret features — I'd recommend the Bivvi to any adventurous traveler!

Best hostel I've stayed at to date. The place seemed brand new and everything was extremely clean. I stayed in a four-person dorm and it was spacious for a hostel and very comfortable, including a small porch where you could step out and enjoy the aspens in the morning. The beds were particularly comfortable — I travel for work and usually stay at a Westin and am spoiled by their famous "heavenly" beds, but I didn't even feel like the beds at this hostel were a step down. There's a big shared living space with a cozy fireplace where people can gather and chat. The hostel is filled with cool people — I visited in the summer and met lots of folks hiking the CT, a couple people biking cross country, an older lady reinventing herself and planning a move to CO. And every morning the staff prepares a delicious, literally home-cooked breakfast. Other perks include a hot tub out back with a great view, a Free Ride bus stop right out front, and the little trail from the back porch that will take you right into town. Great location. If you're visiting Breckenridge, there's no reason to stay anywhere else. In fact, I've already booked a trip back here for next month. I sound like a salesperson at this point, but it's all true :)

Very cool hostel on the south part of Breckenridge. Shared bedrooms and private as well. Not too far from the Colorado Trail, use the buses though. I had a nice quiet time, and some good conversation at breakfast.

Fantastic staff. Very accommodating. Cute rooms and community areas. Not much parking.

I stayed at The Bivvi for 5 nights. I can't say anything negative about this place. The hostel is amazing with amazing staff. Everything from the rooms, open areas, balcony, hot tub and breakfast is just amazing! If I ever visited Breck again there is no other place I'd stay! Big up to all the staff for making my stay so good!

Stayed at the Bivvi over the 4th of July weekend and I absolutely loved it. The place is extremely clean and tidy. The beds are really comfortable and clean. Brian helped us settle in and he was extremely helpful albeit us waking him up around midnight. The breakfast was really good. Bivvi would be a special place to me because I climbed my first 14er, the weekend I stayed there :) Would definitely stay there, the next time I visit Breckenridge. I cannot recommend this place enough :)

First time I've stayed at a hostel, and was extremely impressed — hard to go wrong with a comfortable bed, free Wi-Fi and breakfast, and a nice atmosphere for the price! Useful touches like outlets and USB power supply at each bed.

Twice here and both times have been a great experience. From the helpful, friendly staff to the views from the hot tub, this place is where to spend your time in Breck.

I stayed at the Bivvi for 2 nights with friends, this is a well run and clean hostel for only being open for 2 years. I met the owner Bond and his mother they were both very nice, staff was helpful and accommodating. Stayed in the 6 Bunker had a private balcony, shared bathroom and super comfy bed. There is a hot tub that seats 10. Easy walk to the main st, they have lockers to store belongings, and FREE breakfast! Well worth it, book soon this is a hidden gem in Colorado.

This place is amazing. Great rooms, clean place, and extremely comfortable. The staff are excellent and the breakfast is awesome. This is the perfect atmosphere for your Breckenridge vacation.

I stayed in a sixer (two three-bed bunks) at the beginning of August and I was blown away by the my experience at the Bivvi. Room was immaculate and the view off the balcony was impressive. The Bivvi's location is prime, sitting atop of all that Breck has to offer, but especially if you're using the Breck free ride bus system. The complimentary breakfast served everyday was delicious and offered a wide array of healthy options. The common area on the first floor was very comfortable, the fire pit and hot tub on the back porch were great additions. The staff created a great atmosphere and welcoming environment that spread to all the guest staying there. Overall the Bivvi is a phenomenal value, I'll definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone making their way to the Breckenridge area.

What a unique place. When I was looking for a place to stay to extend my vacation, The Bivvi caught my eye. Hostel — so it's inexpensive, Breakfast-yum, Hot tub-too good to be true! The Bivvi is so much more than a hostel. I met new friends in their spacious two story Great Room and some beers that were locally brewed at the custom bar. Great gathering place for skiers, bikers, climbers. Why drive back to Denver in all that traffic?

What an excellent place! The Bivouac has it all right! After several years of traveling across the US and in Eastern Canada, I have to say it's one of the cleanest and friendliest hostels I've stayed in to date! Whether you are strolling the living room in your socks, catching snowflakes on your tongue while soaking in the hot tub, enjoying conversation around the patio fireplace, or enjoying a cold one with new friends inside at the bar, you won't be able to deny the unique atmosphere of The Bivvi! There should be more places like this one!
