Comfortable and MOST gracious hosts!

We stayed only one night but will definitely be back! Ouray is beautiful. The owners Tom and Cyndi were amazing. Tom played his guitar at a local restaurant where we ate. The breakfast they made by hand was spectacular! Great people and great place to stay!

Nothing can be said other than spectacular about this bed and breakfast. Located in the heart of Ouray and just an hour from Telluride, which in itself is a beautiful drive around Mt. Sneffels. The owners Tom & Cindy are very hospitable, friendly, show care for details, and serve up an astounding breakfast every morning. You're missing out if you don't stay here! Our room was more than spacious with 2 beds and 3 people. They have a big sitting area downstairs, an upper observatory den where you can relax and gaze at the mountains, and even a large patio deck out front. An added bonus during the stay is complimentary beer & wine everyday @ 5 o'clock. It's nice to sit, talk, and meet with others and hear about their explorations and recommendations. And after a long day, there's no better place to wind down your night than the hottub! The was simply the best choice stay between Ouray & Telluride.

Amazing hosts and breakfast! Favorite place to stay in Ouray. Beds are comfortable and rooms are extremely clean. The views are breathtaking.

We stayed at charming Black Bear Manor last week during the Ride the Rockies. What a wonderful experience! We can't say enough about Cindy & Tom as hosts — they're warm, personable, informative. The breakfasts, all made by Cindy, were SO DELICIOUS! She is even prepared for "gluten free" folks! We've giving rave reviews about Black Bear Manor and these new owners to all of our friends!

If we could give this beautiful B&B 100 stars we would. My wife really enjoyed spending her 40th birthday with Phil and Lucy. The room and breakfast was absolutely wonderful thanks for the experience.

By far the most, memorable, comfortable, welcoming stay of my life! We came for a wedding and were welcomed after a VERY long drive, with glasses of wine and huge hugs. Our room was adorable, clean and snugly. As we came out to our home cooked breakfast every morning we were greeting immediately with a HUGE 'good morning miss ashley, how did you sleep?! ' You cannot find a better place to stay anywhere… Thank you two for making Andrew and I smile even a year later! You truly are a dream come true. Love and miss you guys!

Excellent breakfast and staff. Very comfortable rooms.

What a lovely B and B in a spectacular setting. Phil and Lucie could not have been more accommodating and friendly. Our room was lovely, the common areas are great. The breakfasts were outstanding, delicious, lots of choices, plentiful and served in such a welcoming dining area. Lucie is a great cook. It couldn't have been better. The Happy Hour was such an enjoyable time with good wine and good beer. The "observatory" upstairs is a neat place. You won't be disappointed at the Black Bear Manor.

Perfect weekend away. Everything was phenomenal. The location, the hosts, the room, all perfect. The breakfast was some of the best I have ever had.

We stayed at the Black Bear Manor in January during the ice festival and had a great time. The manor is absolutely wonderful. Everything was perfect. The entire manor is decorated with great taste and luxury. You feel at home and feel spoiled at the same time. Our room was quiet. The bed gave us a great nights sleep. The breakfast tasted delicious and we were offered a wide variety of taste sensations. The caretakers, Phil and Lucy were gracious and kind. It was a perfect weekend and we are going to return.

My husband and I visit Black Bear Manor twice a year. We've always been impressed by the outstanding level of service, the comfortable accomodations, the delicious breakfast, and the affordability of this b&b. They offer an excellent happy hour, are in a superb location, and always prove to take care of us as if we are family. I would never recommend staying anywhere else. No other b&b has lived up to the standard found at Black Bear Manor.

THE Best place to stay in Ouray! We have stayed there twice know, love ths B&B. Thet treat you like one of there own. You have to come and try this B&B. We will be going back, and tell every one they have to visit.

The word 'family' gets tossed around far too often when it comes to business and customer service but at Black Bear Manor that word is appropriate. Carol made my wife and me feel immediately at home. The cocktail, social hour was a great way to meet other guests, the room was lovely, the views were great. Top notch all around. Will definitely be back.
