Just returned after a 5 day stay, went durning early summer to play golf at the Rollingstone Ranch Golf Course just a few miles away. One of most beautiful and difficult courses I have play. The Villas were fine for a short stay, no ride share available so you’ll need a vehicle. My only con was they didn’t offer a full breakfast, and were closed for lunch but opened for dinner, there are no restaurants or other conveniences such as bars or grocery stores within walking distance so you have to take advantage of what’s at the hotel, and limited house keeping. It’s certainly a snow skier paradise but unfortunately I have aged out. The weather was perfect but as is said if you don’t like the weather in Colorado wait an hour.

This is my second time and now I can say that the rooms are not clean. We just check in. There were coffee stains in the the counter, pieces of bread on the carpet and papers on the bathroom’s floor. There was a weird smell so we have to open the windows although is cold for an hour. The fridge was dirty. And this room is one of the Premium 1 bedroom Suite with Mountain View and needs an update. Great location but very dirty and needs to be updated.

It's an amazing place and an amazing space to enjoy skiing at any level! All of the staff are truly committed to what they do, and so kind and helpful in every way you can imagine!

This is my 7th time back. It’s a great place to stay at one of the best resorts in North America.

This is THE BEST place to stay in Steamboat! The views alone are to die for, BUT the staff, the amenities, the rooms…are ALL TOP NOTCH! Each staff member we spoke to was friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome! One member even brought up our little guy’s swim trunks we left at the pool…just the sweetest! The pool was fabulous — heated and large — our kiddos loved it! Our Villa was amazing and so spacious and wonderful! We celebrated 3 birthdays up here and only wish we could have stayed longer! We will be staying here again and again! Well done Sheraton Steamboat!

Easy access and parking! everything you need is on site! Unfortunately we visited during "mud" season so a lot of attractions were closed, but still an amazing place ❤

We wanted to pick our parents up from in front of the hotel after they had eaten at the restaurant. The gate guard would not let us in and yelled at us that she would not let us in even though my dad has Parkinson’s and struggles to walk. The manager called her once my husband got to my parents (had to walk a block) and she rudely told d the manager that it is policy to keep everyone out. The manager apologized, but my dad still had to walk a block to the truck. I will never stay at a Sheraton.

Nice clean room with a beautiful view! Very helpful staff. We came to ride rode bikes. Fall foliage was nice scenery for riding.

Area and building are beautiful. Upon checking in I was given the incorrect room keys, had to go back down and get correct keys. Tammy said she must need to put on her glasses. Air conditioning in room not working. I called it in, person came right up and said it was throwing an error code from the master panel. He said he would go downstairs and address. Next day still not fixed and no communication back. Now they are moving us to a different room.
Sad, they have cut back help with the virus, but maybe too much.

Awesome! Walk out of the hotel and start skiing the Champagne Powder Slopes. Our room is very nice and spacious. The hotel offers numerous amenities and a free shuttle service is available. If looking for a great place to stay I highly recommend staying here.

This location is at the bottom of the ski lifts and everything is walkable. So awesome!

Management is everywhere and they make a point to be accessible. The shuttle service from hotel to restaurants in The Downtown area is awesome. First time we didn’t rent a car and have not regretted that decision. No need for Texans to drive on ice.

We extremely enjoyed our stay here we highly recommend it! The bed was comfortable and they offered the best coffee and real half and half to go with it. Our room had a nice kitchen, a pull out couch bed, and a small washer and dryer this place had it all we will be back! To the very friendly and helpful staff Thank You :)

My husband and I came with our 13 year old son & 17 year old daughter. We had a fantastic time and Ann at the front desk was wonderful! She provided precise information with fun and positive attitude. Had a great time, thanks for a memorable experience.

We had a fantastic time during our stay. We were there for a week and there was something new to do everyday. I had a good time doing activities and talking with other guests. Couldn't complain about anything!

We, my husband and I, check in last night. We are blown away on how great everything is. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room, so clean and cozy. Even grabbing coffee in the lobby this morning, felt like we were getting royal treatment. If anyone is looking for a relaxing get away, I would and will strongly recommend The Sheraton in Steamboat. Ben, you did good picking this place babe.

We had a beautiful room complete with a full kitchenette, washer and dryer and a beautiful view of the gondola! The reception staff were exceptional. They gave us a detailed explanation of the sights, food and expected costs and marked them on a map for us. First class service and a great experience.

The rooms are beautiful and spacious. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Love the shuttle that takes you wherever you need to go. I had a facial at the spa and that was very good too! Great Location.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times in the past 3 years and have always been pleased, but was somewhat disappointed this time. I still enjoy the hotel and the staff but this time we were charged $15/day for self parking or $24/day for valet. I feel like the hotel should just include the extra $15/day in “resort fees” on my bill instead of jabbing me again with another charge. Ignorance is bliss, just include the parking fee in the cost of the room… or better yet, just provide free parking for your guests that you should value the most.

We are so happy we chose Steamboat Springs for our summer vacation destination this year. We usually head to a beach destination but decided to try something different. We've tried so many activities and have so many more options. The Sunset Happy Hour last night was amazing!

Went there for a late lunch after taking wedding photographs. Location is fantastic, right at the base of the slopes and near the gondola to Thunderhead. The menu at the restaurant was a bit lacking and we ended up just going with a few orders of somewhat bland and boring nachos.

Receptionist on a front desk was very nice and polite. Smiled and explain all basic points quickly. We stayed in studio with king bed. Nice comfortable room with small kitchen. Restaurant in lobby — where we got a dinner in first day — was with poor menu — that’s why we decided to make our breakfast by ourself. Hot tubs outside of hotel is good for relaxing. There are a pool as well but we didn’t swim. Spa and massage we couldn’t reach because everything was booked. In general good hotel with great customer service. Would like to come back.

Beautiful resort at the base of the mountain. Breathtaking views, wonderful staff, nice room. Enjoyed every minute of our stay.

This place was great and had plenty of fun “events” to go to. LaRae was wonderful helping us check in and get settled. Our personal favorite event was the s’mores on the deck. When we had questions Austin was able to help us with all of our struggles. Thanks for such a great stay!

Amazing deals on gorgeous two-story villas in the spring time! They are like roomy condos! Service is great too! Will definitely be back! Parking is a little extra, but you can leave and come back whenever you want. Great restaurants within walking distance, and one on site as well. Outstanding location and views! And even a well-equipped gym. Loved it!

My wife and I decided to have a quick get away up in Steamboat Springs and stayed at the Sheraton… From the moment we stepped into the lobby to check in after a long day of hiking, to when we checked out the following day, there was not one thing to dislike. From the service we received from Austin, the amenities of the room, the views, the cleanliness of the lobby as well as our room, the modern decor, all was above our expectations. The next time we are in town (can't be here soon enough), we will not consider staying anywhere else!

Wonderful location with 2 hot tub area separate from main family pool. The beds are surprisingly comfortable and the kitchen is modern and equipped with everything you need. A nice and comfortably large TV in each bedroom.

We have always received excellent service. The location cannot be beat. The recently renovated rooms are also a welcome improvement.

This place is GREAT. I booked last minute and paid for my procrastination. But it was worth it in my opinion. We stayed the last weekend in March. Upon arrival we we're upgraded from a 1 bedroom Villa to a 2 bedroom Villa. Thank you Sheraton (baring I don't get a charge on my bill for it). The 2 bedroom villa fit my family of 4 perfectly. The room was very clean and beautiful. Huge flat screen TV's in all rooms. Mostly full kitchen minus the oven, by no means a complaint. And washer and dryer IN ROOM. The gondola is a very short walk from hotel. I hope to return in the future as long as prices are reasonable. I haven't done any rate checking for further out dates.

Best location for ski in ski out definitely! Has newly remodeled rooms we stayed at a two bedroom suite that was really pretty terrific! We got upgraded and didn't need the extra room but it was lovely would highly recommend staying at the Sheraton at the base of Steamboat Springs!

Newly renovated with a prime location to the slopes. This hotel has several different rooms to choose from. They have small kitchens in them with a microwave and two top burners. There is a full size fridge and a sink as well as a small eating table and chairs. The rooms are a good size and the bed was very comfortable. Downstairs is conveniently located to the parking garage and also the ski shop where you can store your skis. There is a bar and a restaurant to get breakfast and all meals. Overall a great place to stay.

So I stayed here a couple nights with my infant daughter while we were a way from our house… first night, at around 3am, there was an awful snow removal tractor beeping loud enough to wake me and my 21 month old daughter directly outside my window (This was a constant thing both nights from around 2am-5am even though there was no snow on the street out front)
Second night as I'm trying to put my daughter to sleep, right as she is about to fall asleep the fireworks (which Sheraton never mentioned to us) were exploding not 100 feet from my room. Woke and scared my infant daughter this time… She was crying for about an hour
I requested a late check out on my final day to let my daughter nap a bit before traveling more. At 10am while my daughter had just barely fallen asleep, someone from the hotel keyed into our room without knocking which agitated my daughter yet again and made her extremely cranky for the rest of the day… very disappointed with the stay… especially when I paid over $500 for 2 nights In the tiniest room possible… no free parking, no free breakfast or even a continental breakfast, nothing. Not staying there again.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The proximity to the gondola was super convenient, and the area you could check in/out your equipment was very straightforward and fast. The hot tub had an amazing view. My only criticism is the front desk person could have explained things a little more clearly, but overall I was very happy with the experience.

Great location and very well furnished. Just not so great food. The service in the dining room/bar was a little off too. I was there just at the beginning of the season, and the hotel was pretty empty, which was nice, but maybe the staff was just gearing up. Not really a great excuse, however. This was my vacation…

One of the beat Sheraton hotel that I took l have seen. Very neat and clean rooms. Direct access to the ski resort. Nice suite which has view of mountain with nice and fashionable appliances. Go there especially in winter and try its whirlpool which has a great view of mountain and ski resort. The restaurant serves quality food with reasonable price.

Double charged my card, tied up an additional $800. My mistake of having only one account available for the weekend but nonetheless, shouldn't have happened. Was restricted to the hotel as far as purchases because they could be charged to the room, couldn't buy a lift ticket either. Because of this, they offered to buy a lift ticket for me and charge to the room. Went to go pick up the ticket, the representative and her manager couldn't find the order using my name or the reference number given by Sheraton. That's the only reason why I went to Steamboat, to ride. At this point I gave up. I wasn't looking for free stuff but anything comped would've been nice i. E. A 25$ breakfast… but I had to ask for that and felt pretty awkward doing so. They mentioned an apology but I could tell it was a formality being said. They get two stars because they did switch our room from a kitchenette to a full kitchen per our request and the newly renovated rooms are money well spent. Waiting staff is slow in the informal dining/ bar area. I'm chalking that up to being new, they had to run and verify food options. I can't be too mad because I'd rather them ask and know then just tell me no bc they're not sure. Overall, I would think about going back.

Beautiful resort and amazing location, skiing is a few steps away and enjoyable. Nice room with plenty of amenities, seemed mostly clean except for a few small specs. The food was good and quick. Service was friendly and pleasant to interact with.

Awesome hotel, top location. Very good service and polite staff. The rooms are big and clean. The hotel is renovated so everything is new. There are many shops, bars, restaurants and ski lifts within walking distance. Free shuttle service to downtown Steamboat Springs and some other places.

While location is great, beware if you have ANY problems, management is non-existent. It’s been nearly 3 months, numerous emails to 4 different staff members and radio silence. Customer service has a long way to go. Unresponsive. Construction that was underway was dangerous to people walking thru hotels, the dishes in my room were dirty, and billing was incorrect. Save yourself the frustration and go someplace else.

I talked to David the operator asking about what type of mattresses the resort uses and he was so incredibly rude to me. My family and I stayed there for TWO WEEKS. I don’t think we deserve to be talked to the way we did. He kept referring me to the manager and said he could not help me. I said, “All you need to do is having someone lift up the sheet and tell you what kind of mattress it is! ” And he kept saying, we’re not staffed for that and oh well, you’re going to have to wait. I can’t believe the conversation I had just had with him. We won’t be returning.

The staff has been very friendly and helpful during the course of our stay. The room is very nice and has plenty of room. The on site activities have been an added treat.

The Sheraton has been great! The staff has been outstanding. The location at the ski slopes was nice even though we are here off season. There are a lot of activities here besides skiing, including a small rollercoaster, mini golf and hiking.

Its location is the best. Close to downtown, 2 grocery stores, the gondola, and offers a peaceful view. The water features are soothing. Adirondack chairs places around them are whimsical and functional. This is our third stay in in villas and we love how spacious the condos are. The hotel is undergoing major renovations right now and anticipate the re opening to offer better amenities.

Very nice facility, but a lot of construction going on. The van to the downtown is wonderful. Nice staff very friendly and helpful.

My wife and I stayed here the weekend before July 4th… and loved it! I would have given them 5 except there was construction going on at the hotel and that made for some minor inconveniences. The staff was outstanding, from the front desk to the rental shop to the servers at the outdoor bar, all were great. We are already discussing a winter visit and back again next summer.

The hotel is fantastic. There is everything you need in the room — utensils, cups, etc. Even a washer and dryer! My only mild complaint is that everything was under construction and it didn't look all that great. But the room itself was great and the bed was very comfortable. I found it weird they didn't have anyone at the front desk, but once you dial the phone, they come out right away. Overall, a great stay.

We're here now on a timeshare exchange — great location! We've eaten in a few of the hotel restaurants — food was good but nothing special. It would be a great place to bring a family — located next to the gondola entrance and across sidewalk from a lift. Awesome deck location for people watching, several hot tubs and a heated outdoor pool. We've heard live music on the deck each afternoon. Midweek tidy service was appreciated. We'd love to come back again!

This is a beautiful hotel. We have stayed in other places in Steamboat this summer, but this is the best. Many places in town don't even have air conditioning. The room is very comfortable, the view is spectacular, the staff was helpful and professional, and everything that a traveler can possibly need is at the resort.

Stayed here early Dec 2015. Had an amazing weekend and this location was the perfect place to hop on and off the lifts. Hotel was clean and staff was helpful. Ski Shop located in the basement made for easy purchase of any last minute items, though be prepared to pay.

Was looking forward to staying here. Got referred from the Grand due to their no pets policy. Website and phone message say open on the 22nd; cool I'll wait to make a reservation. No answer at 2pm when I call the front desk. The message confirms they open on the 22nd of May and has the security phone number. Security says that's weird, transfers me to a rude front desk that seems shocked I'm calling directly and asks "do you have access to a computer" elitism aside I say I do but thought best to call as it will be our first time here. No rooms aside from a 3 bedroom condo unsuited for our needs. No problem, talk to a manager about the mixed messages I was receiving from the website/phone message/security/front desk. Blatant reveal of how little they care about"transient" guests and cater to corporate contracts. She was testy from hello. This is not a place I will recommend to any Coloradan. Not a come as you are place.

I just visited their spa. The spa and the people who work in the spa were wonderful. I enjoyed my scrub and they worked to make me feel comfortable the entire time.

Do not stay here. In particular, do not use the valet service. We made that mistake and our car was damaged. Of course Sheraton refused to admit their error and basically called my wife and I liars. In addition, the room was basic, the bed uncomfortable, the restaurant only operated for breakfast and the bar was totally inadequate. And, to add insult to injury, it turns out that this hotel is being converted to condos owned by Starwood.

Had the 1 bedroom suite. Was plenty spacious, even with two kids. Clean. Great location with great views of the slopes.

Amazing access located right on the square. August rates were dirt cheap compared to season and the summers are beautiful there. Nice and spacious room with excellent view. Loved the new surprise juiced water in the lobby each morning.

A destination resort in a perfect location (steps from the slopes. Literally), doesn't necessarily have to offer a great product. But, The Sheraton Steamboat surprises, no amazes, at every turn. Great service from a very attentive staff, great rooms, great food, coupled with the great views and perfect location. They have managed to take a 4 star property and turn it into a 5 star experience.

I went here for dinner the night before the marathon in June. It was by far the WORST meal I have ever had. The server told us probably 15 times how she "just want (ed) to go home" and the bar tender and manager sat and counted their money without paying us any attention even though we were one of two tables at the restaurant that evening. The food took over an hour to get to us, drinks were forgotten completely even after being reminded on multiple occasions, and the food was less then mediocre. A 10-year-old could have made pasta as good as theirs, slightly overcooked and soaked in an inedible sauce. All in all, I will never return here for dinner. Very disappointed.
