Wow! What a summer we had at Mary's Lake Lodge! Our daughter's wedding was all set for the Friday after the fire. Changes had to be made quickly as all the guests were arriving from out of town in a matter of days! The staff at Mary's lake lodge could not have been more supportive. I admit there were some glitches with the room reservations, but that was to be expected. They worked with the new venue and our wedding went off seamlessly. What our guests said was that if they hadn't been aware of the changes they would never have guessed that there were any! I am afraid we were given special attention because of our predicament. This did not hurt our feelings at all! Thank you so much to everybody who pulled together to make Elizabeth and Garhett's wedding day as perfect as it turned out to be! Sincerely, Ardy Cunningham.

Marys Lake Vacation Condos Not Impacted by June Fire The fire at Marys Lake Lodge was contained to the center section of the historic lodge building where the lobby, reservations office and restaurant were located. While the fire did damage the hotel rooms at the lodge, the fire had NO impact on the Marys Lake Vacation Condos. The fire destroyed the reservations office along with the computers that tracked reservations. Property management staff manually replicated the reservation data. Until reservations are again available online, inquiries about an existing reservation or a new reservation for the Marys Lake Vacation Condos need to be made by phone or email. Currently, the reservations office is located in condo The Marys Lake Vacation Condos are individually owned. Styles and square footages vary from smaller one bedroom condos to two bedroom/two bath condos with up to 1, 500 sq. Ft. Almost all of the condos have central A/C (a rarity in Estes Park). Condo arrangements vary with attached single story units located upstairs or downstairs or two story duplex units. There are a few condos with more than two stories. The condos are more up to date and modern with upgraded countertops, kitchens and baths. Most of the condos have a washer and dryer. The individual owners provide the furniture, mattresses and accessories in the condos so style and quality varies. Many of the condos have expansive views.

This place has some of the best food Estes Park has to offer. I haven't personally stayed there overnight, but ive attended multiple wedding receptions and have always had a wonderful time. Thats why I was so sad to hear about the large fire at Mary's Lake Lodge. Hopefully they'll rebuild it better than ever.

This place was amazing. So sad that it burned to the ground. We were there just days before the accident. Planned on having out wedding here… staff was great. Food was great… hope they re-build.

Great food beer was decent as well. Friendly/attentive staff. Million dollar view of the mountains as you dine! Hope the recover soonfrom an unfortunate fire.

Mary's Lake Lodge was beautiful set right in the mountains. We just drove around the grounds and saw 2 different bull elk sitting and calmly eating. It was very picturesque, I would definitely come back for an overnight stay.

Really cool, old lodge. Every meal in our group was delicious and the presentation was lovely. Great bar. Staff was very friendly and engaging.

The entertainment the 2 nights we were there was good. Solo artist playing some oldies from 60's to 90's. We had fun reminiscing and guessing the original artists. Fun and friendly staff. 10 minutes drive to shopping on main Street.

Beautiful views awesome weather (June). Staff was friendly and accommodating. Tavern restaurant had great food. Condo had modern kitchen, balcony had wonderful views. Highly recommended.

This establishment is know as one of the better facilities in town! They have a variety of options to suit your needs and the facilities are beautiful. The views are amazing. If you come in early spring you can catch the wild Iris blooming in the field below the hotel. The customer service is great! Ive heard the bar is one of the better places in town to get a drink.

Great location. The view is very good. Room service was poor as we did not get one but they made up by giving us good discounts. Hospitable staff and the restaurant inside is reasonable too.

Attended a wedding reception at this gorgeous location. Not only a charming destination but welcoming staff and cozy accommodations. Absolutely would return!

Nice Lodge with a great view, live music, and good food. We attended a wonderful wedding and enjoyed our time very much.

Was here for a wedding and they did a fantastic job. The food was great and the service was awesome!

I can't say much about the lodging aspects of this establishment but I can say that the restaurant bar there is fantastic! The first time I went I had the elk steak, it was amazing. The second time I went was just for drinks. They have a respectable selection of bourbon, all at reasonable prices. The service was great, clean facilities and also had some live music.

Very beautiful surroundings, more than happy with our condo, food at the lodge restaurant was great and had live entertainment. Couldn't ask for more for a girls weekend.

The lodge is Beautiful. The beer selection was very good. The service on New Years Eve was "ok" at best. Will stop in again and give it another try.

This place is really cool. It has that log cabin feel. The restaurant is great with live music and really cool outdoor seating. Outdoor seating has an amazing view and is very private. I love it!

A great getaway, even if it was only an hour away from home. Comfortable, watm, cozy, and a private jacuzzi. What more could you ask for!

Will never come back to stay. Was treated with the utmost disrespect from the petson who's supposed to be in charge of the place. New to her job as general manager treated guests on the property as if they were below her & trash. Scum on the bottom of her shoes. Seen it 1st hand and I myself was treated with even worse disrespect. Cursing at me in front of other guests and making me feel like trash. Will never return until something is done about this women.

I absolutely loved staying at Mary's Lake Lodge! We stayed a gorgeous little suite at the top of the stairs. The bedding was clean and the room was neat and tidy. My one complaint was how slippery the floor around the jetted tub got. I loved getting my coffee ready and going down to the deck to watch the sun come up every mornign. The food at Tavern 1929 was amazing! They served a fabulous breakfast fritata that we enjoyed in their outdoor dining area. They also have the BEST brussels sprouts. The reception for the wedding we attended was held in the grand room and the staff was so kind and friendly. The food was delicious and the drinks were made well, though there was a limited selection.

View is blocked by construction. Property is not on the lake and you barely get to see it from the property. Pictures of rooms on internet are not accurate. Booked a deluxe 2bed for $300 a night. Room was nowhere near the pictures. Pictures show vaulted ceilings. Majority of the units do not have vaulted ceiling. They claim there is a headed pool and it is shut down. Also their is a hidden $60 cleaning fee. Staff was no help and sAid any management would not be back for 3 days. Will never return.

Certainly go there for the view. Had wedding reception there before it changed over to a brewery. The brewery is a good new touch but the food used to be better before new ownership. My wife's and I's dinner entrees were mediocre. We agreed that it was probably best now for a lunch place… Sandwiches and such. Beer and appetizers at night.

Nice and quiet, away from the main traffic in Estes Park. We stayed in a one-bedroom condo with King Bed, deck, hot tub, and fireplace. Had good Wi-Fi signal, video streaming quality. The bedroom was a bit small, but doable for the 2 of us. Had to lug all our luggage up a couple flights of stairs, so got a good workout! Smoking was allowed on deck. Food was good in restaurant on site, but it doesn't open for breakfast. Went out around dusk one evening and enjoyed the wildlife. Convenient for heading into RMNP without having to drive through town, and gas station is 2 miles away.

Not very impressed with this place at all. Room was small for a king suite. Had outdated carpet that was coming up at the door jams. Shower doors didn't close all the way so water leaked everywhere. The room didn't have central heat & air, but window units, tried to run a hair dryer and the power went off 3 times. After expressing my frustration with the front desk I was told I simply had "too much on". We stayed with a wedding party and were supposed to receive a discount and we payed MORE than the daily rate they were offering to anyone. Carpet in the hallways was rippling up, creating trip hazards and the hallway smelled of sewage. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the front desk only to be treated with disinterest and rudeness. After paying nearly $400 for two nights, I expected more. Will NEVER return.

We stayed in both a hotel room and an efficiency condo. Both were fairly good at what they do. The hotel room was spacious and charismatic. The condo had everything we needed. The staff is friendly but not overbearing. Estes Park has an incredible natural beauty and this lodge is a great way to experience it.

Had a really nice dinner. Everything was delicious, the service was excellent, the views were straight up breathtaking, and the beer was incredible. I really can't say enough good things about the place. The price was quite reasonable too! Great quality and I would definitely come here again.

My husband and I had dinner here while staying in Estes Park. We had a really nice meal and the ciders were delicious. We ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer, French onion soup, meat loaf and lemon shrimp pasta. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 — the shrimp on the appetizer were a bit dry and the pasta was more caper than lemon. It was overwhelmingly capered, so much so that no other flavors were able to be tasted. The server was nice and friendly and the manager was also really personable. We would definitely come back here and give it another try.

The location is great and the views are good. However, the room we got was extremely minimalist (not in a good design way, in a not enough counter space to do anything way. ) The bed was comfy but everything else was just not worth what we payed for a weekday stay. I would be more tolerant with this stuff if the staff hadn't been so rude, especially the front desk guy.

We absolutely loved Mary's Lake Lodge. We had our rehearsal dinner here 5 years ago, and they did a spectacular job with the whole event. That being said, we came here and had dinner for this review. Their service was extremely timely, and never let anything run out, or let a plate come to the table without making sure everything looked good. I had the Mountain Man Meatloaf, and have never had anything like it. One great thing about the Lodge is that they offer very mountain-specific foods that you won't find anywhere else. Go here for a nice fine dining experience with a great twist of the mountains.

The accommodations were very nice and spacious. However, we could not turn the heat down so we had to run the air conditioning to keep the place from becoming a sauna.

Cozy rooms with amazing views. Close enough to town to grab a bite to eat or reload supplies, but far enough away for some nice peace and quiet in the hot tub. Can't wait to come back!

Lodges are amazing! Spent two nights in a lodge with a jacuzzi. The view is great, the upkeep is great. Definitely worth a visit.

Worst experience ever for my wedding. Even after 6 months I still cannot stop thinking about how horribly we were treated, lack of communication, one of the wedding coordinators who was in the most contact with us did not show up and there was no communication there, food did not taste the same, did not receive our honeymoon suite we were promised in our contract and got a 2 bedroom condo which is NOT what we wanted, never passed out our wedding party gifts which we were told that it wasn't a problem and they do it for other weddings… I guess my money wasn't good enough so all of my time and money for that went to waste, my mother did not get the room she asked for and was told she would and was mistreated by one of the wedding coordinators, overcharged us after we were promise a percentage cut off our price because of all of the trouble we had during our experience and then said we lied about it. Only thing that was positive was the other vendors that were not listed on their list that came and fulfilled their promises and agreements and did an amazing job for our wedding and if it wasn't for the outside vendors it would of been completely shot. I would say never book your wedding there and take your money somewhere they treat you like the bride and like you just spent thousands of dollars at their location.

The room (1 bedroom condo) was absolutely beautiful. Between the bathtub with jets and the fireplace in the bedroom we were very impressed. One night we had a hard time getting hot water but maintenance figured that out quickly. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and dishware.
