Riverside is awesome. Old and rustic. Been around since the 1927. Staff is really friendly and helpful on places to eat. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice place to stay for a night gets the job done and the price is right to get rest /hot shower. If you want something fancy go pay over a $100. We will back stayed in room no issues.

Okay, did the job, but not a great place to stay. No blow dryer or iron. Wi-Fi didn't work half the time, and safety could be an issue. Bathroom had window in the shower and all they did was put up a frosted curtain to cover it, a curtain that, I might add, would stick to me every time I bumped it. The door had a gap in it and the curtains I'm pretty sure we're bought at Walmart so we know they don't meet fire safety standards. Worst was that I was there for a week and they wouldn't give me any more to toilet paper or Styrofoam cups. I had to go out and buy my own. Plus the little sugar/creamer/napkin packets had already been opened and the napkins removed. Place is not worth the price.

We stayed one night the hotel is old and needs some TLC. The older woman there was rude, made sure to explain it was a drug hotel on a drug highway. (why that information would be shared ever is beyond me) needless to say we stayed at a different hotel for the week.

The room inside is clean and big enough, with a reasonable price. If you want to live close to Great Sand Dune and save money, it is a good place for you.

We loved it. It was very cozy and felt like you were in your own bedroom.

Great place and price, rooms were spacious and clean, staff was very friendly, they even had a kitchenette and a mini apartment.

They try hard to have a decent room but it is worth shelling out extra money to stay at a more quality type hotel. The rooms smelled bad and were very old. However, some of the rooms were cozy so it was not terrible.

We stayed here (room 2) for a graduation ceremony at Adam's State. The room had two small rooms connected by an open doorway, each with a queen bed. It was a tight fit. An older TV was in each of the rooms, which was convenient as it kept the kids entertained with Disney and we didn't have to watch. The floor was… squishy? and lopsided in places. Kinda hard to explain. It didn't look lopsided so it triggered kind of a vertigo/dizzy sensation. Not too bad once ya got used to it. No continental breakfast, but it did have a fridge and microwave. Smell in the room said it had been previously smoked in, but they attempted to help with the smell. All in all, it was a place to sleep. Needs renovation, but it was overall okay considering it's a budget motel. No signs of bed bugs or cockroaches, but did see one or two small black ants. If we end up coming back here, might just spend the extra to stay in a nicer place, but I've stayed in much worse budget motels.

We checked in about 2 hours ago. This is one of those typical motor courts from the early 20th century. However, the onsite manager was exceptionally friendly, the parking lot is well-lit and swept perfectly clean and there are enough parking spaces so we could park direct in front of our room. The motor court (built to look like an adobe building) is painted attractively and freshly in a pleasing color combination. The rooms are freshly painted and seem to be spotlessly clean. I've stayed in a few of these old motor courts which are dives, but this is one of those which we would definitely stay at again. We enjoyed it very much.

Terrible! Shower didn't work, Wi-Fi didn't work. Rugs stapled to wall for decor. Did provide granola bars, juice and water in room. Every window was able to be seen through as blinds were too small… Even bathroom.
