We stayed for four nights and the hotel was beautiful as were the views. All of the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The morning/early afternoon valet does seem to be more welcoming and friendly then some of the evening valet, but overall they were all very nice. My oldest daughter loved the woman who did housekeeping on our floor and she was very sweet and kind to my toddler. I did feel a bit out of place here though since I have two very small children and the majority of people we encountered had no children with them or older children.

A very beautiful and picturesque place. Great park, there are outdoor pools. There are huge fish, ducks and swans in the lake.

Our stay at the Broadmoor Hotel was nothing less of great. The rating is not given because of its strong past, but because of its continuing Service and culture till this day it holds. In addition with all the amenities, to its guests it offers also very friendly and courteous Employees. The Property is just so Beautiful. Great place for date night if you wish to only have dinner and a plus if you decidd to make it a getaway.

The Broadmoor is like its own County. As soon as you feel like you've seen it all you go a little further and there's more to experience. The staff is very kind and welcoming. Tammy at Play is the best bartender I've ever had! We had an amazing experience. If you find yourself in Colorado take the time to visit. You don't have to stay at the Broadmoor to enjoy all it has to offer. Bowling at Play ended up being cheaper for a group of 5 than your typical bowling alley and it's classy and comfortable.

Shoot! What can I say about our lunch at The Broadmoor? Great service, reasonably priced for yummy food at a lovely, lovely location. Go! You'll love it. Good gluten free options including bread. That's always a big deal for me.

We ate at The lake Terrace Dining Room for a Friday breakfast. Absolutely phenomenal! All three of us ordered their "simple" breakfast entrees and argued something incredible about each meal. The view of the lake, the homely customer service, and the exquisite decor surrounding the aura of The Broadmoor all added to make this a wonderful breakfast experience. Admittedly, this was not a cheap experience, but you don't visit a 5-Star Resort expecting to save money…

Still the best hotel in Colorado. Amazing restaurants with 5 star food and accommodations. Don’t miss the lighting during the Xmas period. Staff is extraordinarily attentive and go out of their way to ensure you have a great stay. Very close to the zoo and lots of walking trails in the hotel. Don’t miss the beautiful lake particularly in the evening by the outdoor fire place.

Very nice hotel and people were extremely friendly. The decor in the room is a little on the gaudy side and they charge $30/day for parking and another $30/day for resort fees. I hate that. Just put it all in the original price. Plenty of food and bar options. Golf course us amazing.

We stayed at The Broadmoor for a birthday celebration. We loved our room overlooking the lake, and everyone we came in contact with was very friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed bowling, which was great fun for grandchildren and adults. We did have an incident which required the attention of security and management, and the response from each of them was caring, respectful and thorough. Thanks to Elizabeth and Ed, and especially Alan Davidson who kept us advised, and Ann Alba for her kindness. We look forward to staying at The Broadmoor in the future and would highly recommend it to family and friends.

I recently stayed at the Broadmoor for business and I was very happy with my stay. True 5-star service. They do a phenomenal job of training their staff to be attentive to the guests and their needs and the grounds are kept to an almost magical standard. I ate all of my meals on the property and the food and drinks were divine! Be sure to visit the Golden Bee — a fun English pub on the property. I took many walks around the lake and was able to come very close to a lot of deer, squirrels, and birds. I also visited the spa and received amazing service there as well. My one complaint would be the walk to my room (the north side) had me walking through a hall with many service and staff-only doors, which is no problem to me, but I did see some of the magic "die" (if you will) when I passed through this area. Some staff members finishing up their shift would not hold open the door or share the hallway in passing (I would have to move out of their way). Not changing my rating because I think we all know what it feels like to go home after a long day and turn off work, but I do think some employees could improve that experience for guests that walk in those areas.

This is a wonderful place to visit. My room, bed, and view were all fantastic! The staff was amazing! The restaurants are delicious, I especially liked the one at Seven Falls, and they all deliver to your room. There is so much to do here, from the gym to the hiking, shopping, eating, walking around the lake, or just resting in your wonderfully comfortable room. I want to make this a Thanksgiving tradition.

We went for the Sunday brunch. We don't have a lot of money so it was a once in a life time thing for us. Wow, it was really great! Food and spread was amazing. People and staff were very nice and made us feel like royalty. We really had a great time and highly suggest it to everyone. It's definitely something you should do at least once in your life!

Top notch resort deserving of my 5 stars as well as AAA 5 star rating. Did not have privilege of staying here, only a spa day with a lunch in the atrium of the bar room. Staff of spa top notch from the phone call bookings to the check in and checkout. Wonderful massage, thanks Alan for making me feel like a new woman on my birthday. Separate facilities for men and women, with shared relaxation room, great refreshments, overlooking golf course. Unique arroma therapy/inhalation oxygen room for high altitude relief. Attention to detail could not have been better, kept immaculately. Resort is historic, 100 years old with interesting photos throughout and many buildings nestled between the ponds on the expansive grounds. Food was delicious, well prepared in a bright relaxed atmosphere. Staff very engaged throughout resort, always offering helpful suggestions, free birthday dessert, VIP service all the way! Don't miss out on this unique experience whether you live in area or are visiting this part of Colorado.

This is an iconic resort in Colorado Springs. They have great views of the mountains and have a great golf course. The Sunday brunch is the best of Colorado. They have 150 items from traditional breakfast items to oysters on the half shell. I highly recommend the brunch for a special occasion.

Excellent facilities, very good place.

By far the nicest place I've ever stayed. Service was outstanding and the property is stunning. It's definitely pricey, but you get what you pay for. I only detracted one star because the vegetarian options throughout all their restaurants was lacking. Usually had only one choice, and it wasn't always something that I wanted. Just a few more veggie options would have made it a perfect stay for me. Also, I was there for a conference, and the efficiency and service around the conference was amazing.

The location is gorgeous. It is the fanciest place I've ever been. However, I feel like all this service comes with a cost. I had 3 staff knock on my door yesterday asking if I needed various things (bed turn, bar refreshing, if I had any diner dishes that needed removing, etc). Some people may find this level of service fantastic. I find it rather annoying (I don't like hopping out of bed to answer the door to tell someone no). Also, I don't want to spend any more money than needed on this work trip (work doesn't reimburse for tips). The accommodations seem fancy. But sometimes fancy isn't very utilitarian. Like how there is no counter space in my bathroom. Or how even though I close the fancy door shade to the balcony, it has gaps I can still see outside through on the edges. But if you like a chandler over your bed, a silver trimmed claw foot bathtub in the bathroom, and a fully stocked bar in your room fridge (that isn't free), then perhaps this is the place for you!

Amazing resort. The staff were so polite and friendly all The time. I havent been that relaxed in years. It is very expensive to stay here, but if its in your price range I highly recommend staying here. Also they welcome dogs. Dogs get there own bed as well and are allowed in many places around the resort.

They say that first impressions last forever. For a hotel of this caliber, I expected nothing less than the best. But I was nervous when I had to book a last minute reservation for a work conference. Then things got worse: the credit card I used was stolen and had to be replaced. And then the one bed I expected to book needed to be two bedrooms to accommodate another colleague. Lesser establishments would scoff at these misfortunes and dismiss them. The Broadmoor does not need my business. They can easily replace me with countless other guests willing to pay more and take less of their staff's time and grief. What I found instead was the reservation manager, Sarah, who personally corresponded with me. She was available when I called the front desk (the main line that's advertised). She answered all the questions I had and worked with us at the last minute. Thank you, Sarah, for making me feel welcomed even before I set foot on your property. I can't wait to update this review with more pictures and other recaps from my first trip to Colorado Springs!

Incredible and beautiful experience. This place is like a dream! So grateful for an opportunity to stay here and enjoy the history and elegance. Deep tissue massage with Jeanie was incredible, grounds and scenery were out of this world, restaurants were meticulous and gorgeous, bowling was the most fun and lovely. So thankful to the staff who had a bed, bowls, and treats ready for my dog, Honey. Everyone was so friendly, unobtrusive, and professional. Thank you for the perfect experience!

For me this is one of the most beautiful places in the United States. Broadmoor hotel has very high standards. I enjoy staying there during the holidays nearly every year and can't seem to get enough. All the restaurants are delicious service is impeccable rooms are beautiful. Grounds are spectacular. I return here year after year.

Just stopped in to check out the hotel lobby and second floor. This place is really cool. Very authentic looking and nicely taken care of. Would love to stay in one of the rooms next time.

One of the most beautiful places in the world. While exploring the property, we found a small quaint library. Beautiful wood, nice seating. Fireplace (probably not used given how old some of the books are). While there, we found a first edition book from 1935 and a medical book from 1842. I could have stayed in the library all night. Oh, it has a neat wooden ladder that moves around the room on a rail to reach the top shelf. This where all the presidents stay while in town. Rumor has it that (from the door man) this is the only hotel Sir Elton John will stay in while touring. Otherwise he flies home after each show. The service is top notch, food impeccable. Anything you need while there, they will get it for you. 5 star for sure.

The ice cream that we ate was very rich.

Beautiful scenery and seasonal decorations. Very nice place to just walk around. Staff are very kind and helpful. Many great activities to do. 7 falls is beautiful and the zip lines with Soaring Adventure are exhilarating!

This place is perfect. The grounds are amazing, especially during the holidays when they have all the lights up (they stay up in January). Very special place, worth a spot on the bucket list. A lot to do right around the resort too, Garden of Gods is close by, worth a visit. All the restaurants are fantastic too (golden bee is a gem). Super pet friendly! Not many places have the kind of history the Broadmoor has, it's been a 5 star hotel for 56 consecutive years which is the record for US hotels.

Probably the coolest luxury hotel I’ve been to thus far. I️ loved running alongside the lake in the mornings to burn off the Amazing dinners here and they have a wonderful spa and gym as well. Definitely would recommend others to take the time and hike seven falls, it’s mostly paved and has a cute little restaurant hidden. How everything is carved into the mountainside with the waterfall is also one of a kind. Within the hotel walls my favorite gem was the library next door to the ballroom — makes you feel like you’re living in Beauty and the Beast.

We travel a lot and stay at many nice hotels but The Broadmoor has to be the classiest hotel we have ever stayed at. It is a beautiful piece of history that you have the privilege of being a guest at. The setting with the mountains behind the resort and lake in the middle of it all makes it just that much better. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food terrific. Everyone that travels should stay here at least once.

Very clean, organized, and spacious location for a large event. Easy access from the exhibit hall to the parking garage. Food was great as well. I attended an all day event and the staff moved with precision to serve each course of food and snacks.

The Broadmoor is a great hotel and you will mostly get what you pay for. The rooms are luxurious and the service impeccable. There are multiple restaurants spread out among the complex, all with fantastic, though pricey, food and drinks. The primary downside to the resort is that it is run very much like a conference center, and there is the feeling that they are trying to cram as many people in the complex as they can. You will pay a strong premium for everything you do here; whether it be the rooms, parking, food, or drink. However, instead of getting an "exclusive" experience that you would expect for such a price level; you often find yourself fighting for things. Whether it be reservations at one of the restaurants or even just getting a lounge chair at the pool, the vibe was very much of a Disney resort rather than a luxurious mountainside retreat. However don't let such things deter you should you be interested in staying here, it will still be a very enjoyable experience.

Great atmosphere, sometimes a little over priced, staff at the restaurant's are polite and inviting, hotel staff is losing their charm. Used to walk through this place and have every single employee greet you with a smile and a hello… now it seems like most of them are unhappy and don't want to be bothered. Otherwise, as I said, great for restaurant's!

Beautiful hotel with amazing views, as well as an amazing location. The only reason it isn't a 5 star rating is because of the price. This is most definitely not a cheap place to book a night :P However, there are many amazing activities to participate in while here as well as restaurants and bars that serve great food. So if you aren't afraid of spending a decent amount of money then this would be a great place for you.

My review is not based on a stay at the hotel, but based on a walk around the premises (both indoor and outdoor) and a luncheon at the outdoor lounge. As a visitor from outside of the Colorado Springs area, the Broadmoor is beautiful and tranquil. My wife and I compared it to a Disneyworld resort, and there was something about spending time there that felt magical. This was especially true given the backdrop of the mountains, which are absolutely beautiful with the foreground of the lush landscaping and Cheyenne Lake. The inside and outside of the hotel are both exquisite. Inside, the decor is classy and cozy. Outdoors, the scenery is tranquil and breathtaking. We walked around the premises for about an hour and enjoyed every minute of it. Out in front, there is a beautiful courtyard with colorful flowers, a fountain, and a classy old Cadillac. I suppose there's no need to say it's quite expensive. Even our light lunch consisting of only appetizers costs us nearly $40 for two. This including a 20% "hotel fee" on top of what we left for tip, apparently because we were not overnight guests of the hotel. Still, one cannot complain since they allow visitors to roam the indoor and outdoor premises for free. Would love to stay here some time, but it was not in the cards for this trip.

We only walked briefly across the grounds and stayed in a sports bar! Aeated at the hotel. It seems like a really great hotel.

Quite the fancy hotel! I went today for the breakfast buffet. It was quite good, and the service was really phenomenal: I was brought lots of juice and coffee; whenever I left the table the waiter or waitress would cover my coffee to keep it hot; and they stopped me from leaving my card behind at the table (oops). It was really an enjoyable experience to dine there and take a stroll around the grounds. I would definitely recommend visiting. Based on how friendly and helpful the staff were it would be a true delight to rent a room for a few days.

Dining at the Golden Bee was a fantastic experience. The service was extremely professional and efficient. The food was a very high quality and respectable prices. The facilities provided for the Professional Event I attended were also high-quality.

Beautiful place in a beautiful town. Absolutely mesmerizing, perfect attention to details… loved their centuries old paintings. Adds beauty to Colorado Springs. Attended a wedding here which was just beautiful.

We've stayed at the Broadmoor several times with varying degrees of satisfaction. The Classic rooms are lovely and spacious, and the Premiere rooms are over the top. The staff is professional and courteous, though somewhat nervous. Be sure to browse the world class art that graces the hallways in the main building and across the lake in the west building. However, on our recent visit we discovered one annoying problem. The Broadmoor is now dog friendly. We ended up with a little Rover in the next room. The best we could figure out is that the owners locked the dog in the toilet when they were away, and the resonant sound of his constant barking echoed through the plumbing, reducing the enjoyment of our room to almost nil. I called the desk twice, and in the Broadmoor's defense, the situation was handled immediately. However, we put up with the barking long before being fed up enough to call the desk. I'm still fuming. The restaurants at the Broadmoor are expensive and inconsistent. The service ranges from decent to dreadful. The taste of the food and the quality of the ingredients often don't reflect the cost. It's obvious that the Broadmoor is banking on no return trade, so there's no reason to be consistent. At the Tavern, the best crab cocktail I've ever tasted was followed by the filet with a big piece of gristle up the middle. At Play, I had an Asian stir fry that was perfect, only to order it again two weeks later to an unbalanced, weird dish.

Though I did not stay I night, I got to walk around the beautiful grounds and experience the rich luxury of the hotel. The outdoor landscaping is immaculate. It is quite a pleasure to stroll around the lake and view the various birds, especially swans. I witnessed 2 weddings taking place, attesting to to the beauty, attractiveness, and formality that the Broadmoor offers. Inside the main lobbies of the buildings are royal. There is a bowling alley, several restaurants, and many gift shops. This hotel even offers a chapel built in 1918. The service of the porters and the bathroom attendants is wonderful. Finally, every employee is smiling and friendly.

Upon arrival we checked in giving my credit card and photo ID. The front desk checked me into the wrong room and charged my card $579.49. They checked me in again, now charging an authorization of $443.54. The manager couldn't explain this even though he pretended to. I had to cancel my credit card due to the charges that we unexplainable by management. We got our car out of valet when checking out and a tire had a nail in it. The mechanic said it looked like it had just been done or else the tire would have been flat. There is a big difference between excellent standards of customer service and being pretentious. The Broadmoor is pretentious with low standards of customer service. Staff in the restaurants were rude. The bathrobes were a joke and very worn. The price is worth it for amenities but definitely not service. I'm so disappointed because everyone raved about it before I went. I don't know if I will return. The only thing going for this place is the grounds. The restaurant dining is non-comparable to restaurants in NYC, nothing spectacular.

The Broadmoor is insanely nice. I am way too much of a peasant for this place, hah! Walter was an amazing concierge, and helped us with everything. I am a very self-sufficient person, so I was blown away by how they will take care of anything and everything for you. I am not surprised this place is considered a 5 star hotel, it definitely shows.

Beautiful hotel, older aesthetic including oil paintings, gourgeous fountins and fantastic archetecture. The rooms are wounderfully spacious and quite comfortable. Staff is extremely curtous and considerate, attending to any need you may have. If you are willing to pay the price, the Broadmoor offers anything from a gym and spa to a world famous golf course. One of my favorite expreriences at this hotel incuding walking on one of their many paths around the lake in the late evening, I proceed to walk by (close enough to touch) a group of fawns just laying in the grass about a meter off the path. This hotel combines the older western feel of Colorado with a unique connection to nature and sleek modern touch.

By far, one of the best places I've stayed at ever. The staff should be commended for their professionalism and attention to detail. I will be coming back hopefully soon for more adventures and know that I'll be taken care of at The Broadmoor.

My suggestion is to enjoy the rooms at the Broadmoor, insist on quality service, call about dog noise as soon as you hear Fido let out the first yip, eat off campus, and bring a bottle of hooch in your suitcase.

Excellent venue for a conference. The conference rooms were very comfortable and the layout easy to navigate. Our room featured an amazingly comfy king sized bed, an overhead "rain" shower and a huge closet. Loved every minute of our stay. Play (the restaurant) has an eclectic menu with excellent service.

Went to enjoy the brunch service on my anniversary. The food options seemed to be slimmed down from prior years. The hostess was unable to find us for seating due to a bad means of announcing when takes are ready causing us to wait twice as long. The food is served buffet style which we like but the waiters for the tables have a bad sense of flow for customers. My wife requested we go somewhere else for our anniversary next year even though we have come here the past 4 years. The beautiful grounds made up for the sub par service we received.

I went for the chocolate festival but stayed to shop and eat. The grounds were impeccable and decorated beautifully for Christmas. We ate dinner at the Golden Bee and it was the most amazing pub burger I've ever had. I highly recommend a visit. (Probably an overnight stay too, but I just haven't done that myself. I can't imagine it being bad though).

I had such high expectations. We were there for the Golf excursion at the beginning of November. (It took me this long to cool off and write a review! ). A VERY expensive hotel-HORRIBLE communication. We checked in and the staff had no information on the golf itinerary. We were there for the century of golf gala which is a large event-1200 people were at the gala. For the staff behind the desk to not know where we were supposed to be at what time was a bad start. That evening we ate at The Tavern-I got food poisoning and was sick through the night. We needed a late check out so we could use our rooms to shower before the event and they would not give it to us. We had to check out with all of our bags, move the bags FOUR times from one building to the next… I told the front desk our golf clubs and shoes were IN THE CAR. Bellman showed up at the door for our clubs… They did not listen to me. When we got the the golf event, one bag of golf clubs were there-one missing bag and missing shoes. We were one of many that went through that panic. Five minutes before the shotgun, a gal in a golf cart with an overflowing cart of clubs came up. About 15 bags fell off and crashed to the ground-she laughed at this. Sure, dropping thousands of dollars worth of merchandise is funny. Complete disrespect! After the golf was over, we needed our bags to change and shower (which we had to do in the locker room). Could not find our bags with the tag I had.

I absolutely love everything about this Hotel. Very elegant and luxurious. The staff was awesome, great customer service. The Tavern Restaurant was nice. My reservations were for later in the evening and the live jazz band was very nice and played quite a selection of music I was familiar with. My room view was spectacular over looking the lake and the mountains. There's beauty all around this Hotel and I will definitely be visiting again.

What an amazing experience, the rooms felt like I was back in the late 1800s. We stayed on the west side of the building but had access to a shuttle that took us around. The service was impeccable, anything we needed we were able to request. Definitely come back again!

The Broadmoor is a luxury location with great attention to detail. It is a huge multi-building facility so you can find yourself having to walk long distances. Things are elegant and pricy. Umbrellas at the doors were a nice amenity. Personally, if I want to throw something away I will put it in the trash. I resent housekeeping staff deciding when I am finished with something or whether or not I have chosen to keep an empty container or not. Requesting that your room be made up via their room signal light does not assure your room will be made up when you return in a couple of hours.

My wife and I celebrated our 31st anniversary at the Broadmoor and we couldn't have been more pleased with our experiences. We spent 2 nights at the Ranch at Emerald Valley which was spectacular followed by 2 nights at the Broadmoor resort. We enjoyed all the amenities — horseback riding, guided hiking, delicious food, golfing, spa, etc. But the outstanding service from everyone exceeded our expectations. We will be flying across the country again to celebrate another anniversary at the Broadmoor. Dr. & Mrs. Hughes.

Hotel and golf was awesome! However, 7 falls restaurant 1858 was not worth the money. Reservations for 12 people (6 adults and 6 kids) at 8pm. They charged us to get into the park. Service was slow and food was terrible.

EXTREMELY RUDE PIANIST AT THE GOLDEN BEE! My young millennial friends and I make really good money and went on a Friday night expecting to open up our wallets for the high level of professional service that the Broadmoor and it's employees normally offer. The waiting staff was professional and friendly, but the pianist managed to sink our entire night with rude, under his breath, comments while we sang along to his rendition of old 60's songs. We were celebrating our colleague completing her master's program at 23 and were content on enjoying a few yards and singing along, enthusiastically. However the pianist routinely made snide comments about our singing ability even though we were the only ones to sing along with him the entire night, continuously tipping him, and trying to liven up an otherwise stuffy atmosphere. If you're a retired old timer maybe this is your place to be where enthusiasm is discouraged on a Friday night at 10pm. Highly discourage millennials with money to go. Much better places downtown to spend a whole lot of money.

Unfortunately, it was really not worth the exhorbitant cost. We spent our 10th anniversary there and were willing to splurge for what we were sure would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. However, it was just ok. The room was fine, but really nothing that special. Dinner at the Penrose Room (only 5 star, 5 diamond restaurant in Colorado) was hilariously formal, but looked a little too much like a cruise ship, and I've had food as good or better at places 1/4 the price. We had fun playing tennis, but it cost us an additional $25, which seems a little ridiculous considering we paid not only for a $600+ package but also a "resort fee. " The staff were certainly friendly and helpful, but all fishing for tips, and I really don't need a pool attendant to find me a lawn chair and lay out my towel when there are 50 available. All in all, we had a nice weekend, but if I could do it over, I would not choose the Broadmoor again.

The Hotel itself is great, in fact, I loved everything about my previous stays at The Broadmoor until my most recent when I left a very expensive pair of pants in the room after checkout. I didn't realize until I got back to my home, so I had to call the hotel to inform them. I knew exactly where I had left the pants, however, upon informing them of the location they still were never "found" or turned in by the people that cleaned the room. I 100% left them there, so this leads me to believe they were taken. I would never expect something like this from a supposed "5 diamond hotel. " If you cannot trust the staff that cleans your room, how are guests supposed to feel safe leaving any valuables around while out of the room? I am extremely frustrated at the hotel and their incompetence to provide any clarity or desire to fix the situation. I will most likely never stay here again.

Excellent quality and facilities and service was wonderful. I had spa treatment for deep tissue massage was not good but the spa have great Ambiance. Massage was not good massage. I will NOT get the massage there if I go the next time.

I was there this past weekend because my son was in the Colorado Elementary All State Choir. This was my first time going to The Broadmoor and WOW! Extremely beautiful and elegant and the staff was extremely friendly. I'm already planning a stay during the summer.

We have stayed at the Broadmoor twice in the past couple of years. The place in general — the views, the rooms, the workout rooms and pools are great. Every sitting area (& there are many) has a beautiful view and lovely and comfortable furniture. We have been in a lovely room and in a cottage — both were really plush and made us feel like pampered royalty. There are excellent friendly staff everywhere — parking valets, bellhops, housekeeping, retail personnel and wait staff in the restaurants and bars (not overly obsequious or snobby, but very attentive and amusing). My only complaint regards the restaurants. They are outrageously overpriced which would be okay, because again the ambience with only one exception is excellent, if the food was passable which unfortunately it wasn't. We have eaten at the golf course restaurant which was unmemorable, the health food epicurean something which was worse than an airport cafeteria (piddly little sandwiches in plastic boxes and a Kale salad, again in a plastic "go-bowl", which was nothing more than a bag of Kale dumped in a plastic thing — literally, it wasn't even cut up. I would have preferred a bale of hay. We also ate at the Taverne (sp? ) which was just below average and was the only restaurant there that had very odd and unpleasing décor (we were in the back "garden"). Finally we had lunch at the Golden Bee which was almost inedible — a greasy, slimy fish and chips with an oily, bitter aftertaste.

Awesome resort. Lots to do and lots to see. High class place but casual is also accepted. Prices are very high on food and the service at every restaurant we ate at was less than expected. Overall a weekend much enjoyed.

My friends and I have stayed at the Broadmoor the last 2 January's and found it to be a magical winter wonderland, perfect for a romantic get-away or a retreat alone or with friends. Christmas lights remain on every tree, sparkling off the frozen lake. We've had clear skies and beautiful weather while snow was still on the grounds, making walks on the path around the lake perfect day or night. The Broadmoor is old school luxury with sitting/reading rooms galore, top-notch amenities including a spa worth carving out an entire day for, but the thing which had the most impact on us all was the customer service. We actually had a chat about it around one of the awesome outdoor fire pits, how something was happening to each of us that was actually quite transformative, and it was this: everywhere we went, and I mean everywhere. Every single staff member, whether it was a concierge, front desk, valet, spa attendant or housekeeper. Every single one had eye contact and some kind of greeting when we walked by. This may sound sugary-sweet or over-the-top pollyanna, but it was not at all. As one of my friends said, "It's like they are genuinely happy to see you. " We decided that the reason this was so impactful, and dare I say, even (sorry for the woo-woo) healing, is because sadly it is a rare experience in our everyday lives. If the Broadmoor could bottle this, they would surely set a new standard in the industry. Bravo, Broadmoor management and staff. YOU are a work of art.

We visit the Broadmoor and eat in the garden room usually once a year when we come to Colorado to visit family. We like the garden room because it is casual, and the food and service are world-class. This year we splurged and stayed at the hotel for three days at Christmas time. What an amazing experience! They even had a luxurious bed for our dog. At Christmas time this place is like a wonderland. They have a life-size gingerbread house, Christmas trees, decorations and music. I highly recommend visiting the Broadmoor if you come to Colorado Springs.

Amazing experience. My wife and I dined at the Penrose room and it definitely lived up to its reputation. Excellent food and superior service. Thank you Herman, our server and all of the other staff. Also thank you to Rene Garcia who went the extra mile to stay open late at the gift shop while I purchased a Father's Day gift. This is your best bet if you are visiting Colorado Springs.
