Very disappointed. The listing had no mention of it being a motel. The neighborhood is a less desirable area and we did not feel safe at all. After arriving we cancelled our reservation. Unfortunately the owners had no grace in the fact that the advertisement was deceiving and not descriptive of the actual property. I would not suggest this property. For an extra $60/a night grab a better hotel near town.

The room was recently redesigned and had more modern decor than the outside would have you believe. Smelled overwhelmingly of cigarettes despite billing itself as being a non-smoking facility. A week later there's an additional $150 charge for smoking in the room. We definitely didn't smoke anything in the room. Once we contacted them we were informed that according to housekeeping, the marijuana smell was so strong that special equipment needed to be brought in to remove the smell. We never smoked anything in that room. And if they have special equipment for removing smells why not use that on the horrific cigarette smell that I assure you masks any other scent? Heed my advice and stay clear. All we wanted was a budget hotel but the headache of fighting bogus accusations and associated fines is not worth it.

Clean room. Friendly staff, had originally posted that it was well worth the money. Now I have been charged double the room rate for a 'smoking fee. They charged me $150 smoking fee. I don't smoke. Would NOT stay here again. This room reeked of mildew like stinky old carpet, if this is how you make money you'll get no more of mine HoJos.

Staff is awesome. Went above & beyond to help us out when our reservation got lost. Rooms on the other hand, leave something to be desired. For the price, I expected much better conditions but the sheets were clean and no sign of bed bugs so…

As long as you verify that you are getting a room with a frigde, microwave, ac/heater and not just a flat screen TV then it's pretty nice. One night I stayed had everything in my room stayed, some where else the next night because they didn't inform me the next night "had been booked for a week prior", then came back the night after that because we did like it so much. But after he runs my card he informs me that the room "doesn't have a frigde or microwave and ac is broken. But it has a flat screen TV" smh cool it doesn't have a spot for my dinner or to cook my dinner but it has a flat screen TV… cool thanks :) other then that one room in the ENTIRE place and a couple of uninformative office personal it was very nice staying here!

Wi-Fi was pretty good, pool was always dirty and couldn't swim in it our lights kept flickering in the bathroom and many homeless outside could barely get out of the driveway… But other than that it was a nice place to stay.

The location isn't in the best part of town but it's reasonably priced, clean, and the room was in good condition.

Room was clean and well maintained. It was as expected for the cost and offered a place to crash for a night. Room was closer to the road but no road noise and no noise from other guests. Would recommend for an overnight stay.

Newly renovated room. Clean. Nice staff. Wouldn't hang out outside after dark though. The room was super cheap. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. Exactly what we wanted when spending most of the time exploring the gorgeous area.

Right of the interstate. Decent price, but thin Windows. Really thin. Kept wondering if I'd actually shut the thing… Other than that, it was pretty good.

Room was quiet and cozy. Armando at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.

Clean rooms for a decent price and the staff was very nice and help full even when I needed a room at 11pm on new years eve.

Just a bit of advice from one business owner to another, maybe the owners/management of this establishment probably should think about coming off some of that money they have stashed up their bums and use it to touch up and clean up their filthy rooms. It takes money to make money! Come on people you have employees/ housekeepers so use them! A couple hours a day put into cleaning will do you some good. I mean it's not going to clean itself. To me, my reputation means everything. And if your going to charge an arm and a leg for a room at the very least you can make it sanitary I think your customers deserve that much. I can't wait to see how this turns out. I wish you luck.

Daniel Neil you posted for the wrong location genius. You stayed at the Howard Johnson off Hwy 83 on Voyager Pkwy. This is the Howard Johnson off 1231 South Nevada. Delete your review and comment for the correct location.

Not great. 7 hour drive to be told you have no reservation (which you booked 9 months ahead and have a confirmation in your hand). An hours worth of "there's nothing I can do", expensive international calls and a fresh booking is eventually created. Then they find our original booking FFS! Still we had a nice view of the homeless sleeping in the park across the road.

Didn't enjoy computer service or anything because I got a double bed when I wanted a king and the double bed didn't have a fridge. It's a nice place if you wanna see tons of homeless and right next to a train track and a heavy street and highway. Place isn't terrible the beds ARE nice, area and computer system clearly not.

I wasn't sure what to expect when pulling up to this location and seeing how it looked on the outside. Still, the rooms and staff were nice and the area was convenient to drive in. I was a bit disappointed that the pool wasn't working and I wasn't as comfortable walking around at night as I am in some other areas of Colorado Springs. Still, it was inexpensive and comfortable.

Extremely cheap hotel but horrible customer service and definitely will over charge you more than the value of the room-probably to pocket the extra "fees" for themselves! Common even the actual listed price for the room and "amenities/accommodations" is over priced.

It's a small hotel but prices were on a little higher side. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Towels provided were not clean and there were some hair on them. Air conditioning was ok. The breakfast area is really small and options were really limited.

This piece of garbage hotel just lied to my father saying they had a room availible and they don't. I understand it's an early check in but don't say stuff if it is false. Also the customer service is garbage.

Horrible place to stay! No one was at the desk upon our arrival, which should have been sufficient warning… Room had not been cleaned (garbage in wastebasket from last guest, debris all over carpet), sink didn't drain, air conditioner didn't work, and the pillows were old, lumpy messes. The lobby bathroom had neither toilet paper nor soap, the toaster didn't work for breakfast, the OJ was slightly warmer than tap water! Finally, there was dog poop EVERYWHERE outside the buildings (which made me wonder what the stains all over the carpet were! ) I would never stay here again!

You get what you pay for. One of the cheaper area hotels. The room was adequate, Wi-Fi was spotty, and breakfast was very limited in terms of options. Toast, English muffins, cereal, donut, coffee. Night staff (Armando) was helpful, day staff seemed disinterested. Was concerned about safety of my vehicle at night, but nothing happened. Cleaning staff was pleasant.

For a quick one night stay this was very nice. The rooms were clean, armando treated us very nicely. However a lady attendent in the morning didnt answer my good morning even after looking me in the eye. Aside from that it is at a resonable price and I would denfinetly come again.

Husband stay here for two days. Room infested with bed bugs. Informed staff once he realized what it was. Called corporate as well. Staff later on accused him of lying and not informing of the issue and refused to refund his hotel stay and went on a rant how my husband was in the wrong. What kind of customer service is that? Especially to a active duty service member!?! Zero stars!

Cheap?. I don't know what every one else is taking about but I paid $60 for my room and I have had better for less. Towels were stained and I found snot on one of them. The toilet was not properly cleaned, cigarette burns on toilet. Just discusting. Missing buttons on heater. Only 7 static channels work out of 33 couldn't turn it on. Suppose to be 33 can't even watch it. So no working tv.

Don't get this motel if you wanna get ripped off and not get your money back for not even staying a whole night. Best advice. Waste of your time breath and energy.

There was absolutely nothing to like about this place. Don't waste your time. It's in a terrible spot with hookers, thugs, and people make noise all night long. To top it off I have tons of bites from their bed bugs. When I told the attendant on site he said "oh wow are you serious? I will leave a note. " I left in the middle of the night to another hotel.

GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES/ SOLDIERS DO NOT SELECT THIS HOTEL** This has to be the worst location and worst room I have ever been in. The manager Paul is never available. I stayed one night and tried to leave the next day and I was charged for the entire day after missing the check out time by 10 minutes. The minimum wage attendant decides to check all the rooms before letting me check out! The sheets were dingy and stained, the telephone did not work, the refrigerator was not clean. I had to move the bed to plug up the alarm clock and iron my clothes. There is a reason why they are so cheap, because you get what you pay for. I didn't mention the homeless people lurking outside. I did not feel safe at all, hence one night and I was out of there.

Better stay! Stayed here on May 2015. I booked this Hotel through sites. My only concern was the amenities of the hotel. I was not sure about my choice. But this hotel has not disappointed me. The staff was very professional and pleasant. The Check Inn was very fast and Easy. The room was Spacious and Clean. Enjoyed the Breakfast with varieties of item. The Room amenities was great which include TV, Microwave, Refrigerator, Hair dryer and many more. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Great rooms for the price. I've stayed at some other motels and hotels further down south nevada and they're a dump but this one has been the best. Highly recommend this place. Was a friendly front staff and housekeeping got me towels whenever I needed, they checked me in fast, I hate waiting and I once waited for 30 minutes at super 8 just to get me checked in.

This place is seriously bad. The first room I was given was filthy, there were holes in the walls and the carpet was disgusting. The room was non-smoking, but absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke. The straw that broke the camel's back was what appeared to be dried up blood that was on the inside of the bathroom door. I demanded and received a new room, which was nearly as bad as the first. The walls are very dirty and have holes in them, the carpet looks like it hasn't been cleaned since the 80's, and there were three extremely dirty socks sitting under the bathroom sink. It's like the cleaning people just do not give a crap about what they do and nobody cares. If there are cleaning people at all. Management refuses to give refunds, they just wanted to move me to yet another room, but I have no reason to believe that another room would be any better than the first two. From blood on the door to a homeless person's socks under the sink. What could possibly be next?!? Seriously, keep looking, this place is bad bad bad.

Worse experience ever. There is bed bugs. The owner didn't believe me. The maintenance guy and house keeping people are very nice. They did try to fumigate twice. But for bed bugs you need more than just that. I finally found a bed bug after 2 weeks of hell and bites and took it to the office to show them that I was not making things up. The next day they tell me you are going to get one night free but you need to check out because we are booked and you cant stay here anymore. I had being there for over a month and because I spoke up about the bugs now they don't want me there. I was only there because I am currently waiting for my house. I have kids and they had bites everywhere. Dirty room rugs are very dirty. I seen the cops coming there several times because of different issues. The staff is nice and friendly the only person that I felt was really mean and rude was Jessica. She is the one that got rid of me. But I am glad I am no longer there. They tried to offer me one more night free. But I am good I don't need one more night with bug bites.

The room was ok. It was clean enough I thought until I took a shower. Then I realized that the knobs that you turn the water on and off had holes on them like they are missing screws. I was afraid they had cameras in the walls. Haha. But then after I got out of the shower and walked barefoot to the bed, my feet went from being clean to being BLACK. It was so gross. So I told the girl at the front desk who was really nice but her response was, well we shampooed the carpets last week. We just can't keep them clean. Also, I hope you like powdered milk if you eat their breakfast. It comes with cereal, cake donuts, English muffins, juice and powder milk. Delish.

This hotel is in a shady area, with shady people lurking around it. I'm not a hotel snob. I've stayed in worse places, but for $70 these people are delusional. The room smelled like smoke so bad that my eyes burned. And I smoke! The room was disgusting. The smoke detector was broken off and laid next to a blunt on a filthy ass table. I didn't ask for a refund or talk to the owner because I was too angry and tired from staying up all night while people walked by and jiggled the door handle and tried to open the window. This place is a shithole to say the least.

There was noise all night! We got hardly any sleep! My reservation was booked in advance and I got booted to a double bed room instead of the king bed I reserved. The room was filthy and smelled of urine. When I went to get my refund I was told I had to wait until the manager arrived. It was almost 9 am and I couldn't get my money back until noon almost. Because they "didn't have enough money on hand". I wouldn't recommend this place to even a homeless person.
