This place sucks. It is not worth the price. It looks like you are pulling into a dump, very sketchy. We called 3 times to make sure it was OK with the hotel to bring our 3 small dogs, all under 20 lbs, each time they said that was fine! When we get here they tell us that they were only informed of 1 dog, that is a lie. I called the hotels direct # and gave then the name under the reservation. Also they have a 2 notice complaint rule that we were not told about where if you get complained on twice you get kicked out. The man also said that the dogs can't sleep on the bed but they will provide a "dog blanket" BS. He said that we CAN NOT leave the dogs in the room alone… PLUS I have a noise complaint with this POS they call an air conditioner that hasn't shut up since we turned it on! Wish I would've know this crap before I booked the room or the multiple times that we talked to someone about it. Not worth the price.
And a light switch doesn't work in the "living area" also after getting a good look around it's not very clean, there is still trash from another guest in drawers. Plus the front desk guy is rude.

After driving 8 hours to Colorado Springs and booking weeks in advance, I found out they sold all the dog friendly rooms and couldn’t fullfill my reservation. Now I am stuck trying to find a dog friendly hotel at an affordable price the day of. Would not recommend if you are bringing an animal, or at all for that matter as they do not honour your reservation. Disappointed.

Disappointed! The staff is untrained, unfriendly and not personable. The housekeeping department including the housekeeping supervisor and front desk agents need to be retrained and they all need to watch the training videos required as well.

I had a great stay, nice snack area, nice pool, comfortable beds.

I stayed here 1 other time, both times a prepaid week. Never had issues at any other hotel about prepaying with the company card. This time they wanted to hold 1100 on my card, with a prepaid room. Poor customer service and management, I questioned saying I never had anyone do this. I never have an issue with Hilton or Marriott and I stay at the Hilton for work 1 week every 3 weeks. Room was over booked and I had to wait for them to get one clean one. No I'm sorry nothing, I got this is how it is. I let them know Im only staying the 1 night and going to the Marriott. Much better service.

Popped in on the fly. Nice rooms. Great service. Clean and quiet. Will definitely stay again.

Clean, quiet, and friendly helpful staff. What more could you ask for? An amazing pool and hot tub you say… They have that too!

The location was central to many interesting points except food. However many options can be found by driving 5 min. The pool amenities were nice! The rooms were small but comfortable for an older building.

This hotel is close to all canyons. We went to Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Manitou springs. Then when it came to relaxing. The room was nice and ready. Clean, and cool.

We stayed for three nights in July. The ac wouldn’t blow unless we set the thermostat at 64 which was too cold but if we set it above that it just wouldn’t come on so the first two nights were very hot even with no covers and sleeping in shorts. When we told the front desk the young man told me it must be 65 in the room. I told him it was well over 75 if not 80 and he said well just run it on fan only. When I said that doesn’t blow cold air he said at least I would have air blowing in. There was mold on the ceiling and shower walls in the bathroom. The rooms are tiny with two full beds instead of queen. No elevator to get to second floor. Pool not heated and door to pool area impossible for kids to open and extremely hard for adults to open. My biggest regret is not leaving after the first night.

Great room, comfortable bed, great people behind the desk for check in. Hot breakfast with a lot of choices. The manager was very kind and when I found out I needed a fully refundable deposit that I didn't have at the end of a 2 week vacation, she waived it for me. Next time I know and will have it available because we would definitely stay here again!

The entrance was a little strange but the location of the place was great overall. Room was great except for the tiny bathroom don't know how anyone bigger than me could fit in it. Around midnight 3 of the nights we were there you could smell weed.

We arrived about 1 hour before check in time, but the rooms were not ready yet (according to the staff at the desk, it was a fully booked evening the night before, so it was taking awhile to clean). Since we were headed to great sand dunes national park and wouldn't be back until after 11pm, we weren't able to check in until late at night when we got in. Thankfully the staff went ahead and put it into the system that we would be arriving late (so they wouldn't assume we were forfeiting). The room was great (though freezing cold when we walked in! ) and everything else in the room was fine. Satisfied with our stay and would stay or recommend again.

Everything about this stay has been more than pleasant. What a difference comfortable and clean beds and sheets make in addition to having a spacious shower. The air conditioner on when we arrived was refreshing as well. 10 outta 10. Would recommend.

The General manager Fulya Was one of the rudest general managers of a hotel I have ever talk to. I booked a room with a Jacuzzi and two beds and when I showed up they have no rooms like that. They only had a one-bed king with a Jacuzzi. I asked her why it was shown with two double beds and a Jacuzzi? She replied to me show me on paper show me on paper. I was so disgusted with how she treated my family. PS a box of chocolates will never make me forget the way she treated us in front of strangers like we were some sort of incompetent people. I will not be back. I even showed them that my reservation said two bed. She said if you don't like it I will cancel. Don't go here ever.

I came with friends when they checked in this afternoon. The gentleman was really nice, but while he was in the middle of checking in my friends a woman came out and told him he was checking them in wrong. Only after checking the computer it was discovered he was doing it correctly. She told my friends repeatedly that he was actually doing his job correctly. The guy checking them in didn’t skip a beat and took care of the reservation. We found the woman that came out rude and unwelcoming. She was quick to be demeaning to her co-worker and tried to smooth it over. Great service by the gentleman, despite how he was treated.

I was more impressed than I thought I would be with the cleanliness of the whole facility. Our room was great, easy access parking. Indoor pool and hot tub, I like the area where it is too, you’re close to Citadel Crossing, and within a short drive to most attractions and food. Don’t let the “2-Star hotel” deter you— this is the best Best Western I think we’ve ever stayed at.

One bad experience with one of the desk staff warranted my rating. The gentleman and the lady with the accent that helped me secure a room around 1pm (even though check-in is 3pm) were great, despite a slight discrepancy with price, 4 stars. Right about 8pm, my 1 year old daughter was having difficulty getting to sleep. I went downstairs to see if the ladies working the desk (different staff from who I interacted with prior) would be able to get some milk out of the kitchen for my girl. One seemed polite, though, I didn't really talk to her but the way she interacted with another customer was very professional and courteous. The other one, that I did talk with, absolutely refused to help.

Stayed 3 nights. All of which were amazing! Staff was very friendly from start to end. Even when the hot tub started to get a Little cool instead of hot. They came out instantly and fixed it right away. I was very pleased! The breakfast was about 4 out of 5. It was great! Just not a big variety but I’m not picky. Overall. I think I have found my hotel for vacationing!

The staff was great, rooms very clean and modern, breakfast was good. Everything about this place was great. Pool, hot tub, within short distances to a lot of the city. Modern amenities, everything worked as it should. Our only complaint, was that the beds were Full sized and not Queen sized. Other than that, no complaints at all. Certainly would stay here again.

This hotel sits just off the I-25 and Lake so it's very convenient for out of town travelers as we were. The front counter staff are great and will offer you chocolate chip cookies after checking in. They all appear to be genuinely happy and smiling the whole time we were there. You have to expierence the breakfast bar. The staff in this area are so great, funny and helpful. Very clean and organized breakfast area. The rooms are very clean and the presentation is perfect. The beds and pillows make getting up in the morning very difficult because their so comfortable (especially after a 13 hour drive from Phoenix). We have started at this Best Western twice in the last two months and will definitely stay here again. Great hotel! Bryan.

Really enjoyed our stay here while renovations were going on. The location was handy to shops, restaurants and the Tinseltown theater. Beds were comfortable and clean, there were refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms. Overnight it was quiet. Staff was very friendly. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Rates are reasonable. Mariah who served breakfast was really lovely!

The rooms are very small with only double beds. The bathroom is super tiny, in fact you can't get into the shower without closing the door all the way and the door is about an inch and a half from hitting the toilet. Also, the walls are paper thin. So much so that you can hear the shower next door turning on as though it's in your own room. Breakfast was decent, staff was nice, but for what they charge the room was pretty disappointing.

Terrible experience. Travelers beware! When we checked into the BW, we had
trouble opening our door and told the front desk gentleman that our door was hard to open. We were told that we were not inserting the key fast enough. (But the maintenance never would come to look at the problem) The next time we tried to enter our room the card key mechanism malfunctioned and we were locked out of our room with our belongings inside. The helpful clerk (Amelia) offered us a different room to relax in until the problem was solved but the hotel manager, who was offsite and talking via the phone, told us that she did not have a manual key and told us we could PAY for a different room to sleep in until 9am when maintenance could come. (What? Did they expect us to sit in the lobby all night? ) We told the manager on the phone that we needed time sensitive medication that was in the room. After an hour… the manager showed up and said she had a master key but didn’t know where to find it. She asked us what WE did to break the door… (Are you kidding me? ) She searched and searched and tried key after key trying to open the door. We suggested calling a locksmith and were told directly from the manager Fulya that she didn’t want to pay for a locksmith. We asked to call the owner because we wanted to talk to someone with more authority, and were told by Fulya that the owner was on his anniversary cruise and couldn’t be bothered. Fulya refused to give us the owners name or number.

Nicely remodeled hotel with comfortable beds. Hotel was clean as was the pool. Great breakfast with options with protein choices. Friendly service throughout.

Best hotel experience! We’ve stayed at other popular hotels that are HIGHER in price and none have been like the stay at Best Western. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were very very clean, and the breakfast was amazingly delicious. If you are looking for a hotel in Colorado Springs and want great service, stay at Best Western!

Hotel is ordinary looking on the outside but beautiful on the inside. Our king-size suite was lovely and comfortable. Wi-Fi good. Full, hot breakfast the next morning was delicious. Gracious hospitality by friendly staff. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The front desk staff, especially Nikki, Mike, and Amelia, were courteous, helpful, and very knowledgeable. I found my room well prepared for my arrival and comfortable. My work has me travel frequently on four continents, and this hotel rates very high with me. A good night's rest, and plenty of amenities, await the weary traveller.

Just checked in today the hotel staff was very friendly and even held our bags till we finished with the zoo. The Location is great and the rooms were moderately priced. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Location is a bit odd. Kinda hard to see from the street and the closed dennys next door is not a pealing. But the rooms are very nice and clean. The breakfast in the am is real good. Changing the menu every morning the front desk people are very attentive to your needs.

I want to give 5 starts but cannot. We booked with this hotel for multiple nights for the second year in a row. (Same room #140) Staff is polite and helpful. Good breakfast. Great rates. Unfortunately this trip also gave us an added in-room visitor. I woke up with multiple bites and we found a bed bug on the bed. I took the bug to the front desk and showed it, along with some of my bite marks. Management was not available until the next morning. Spoke with the GM, Ms. Johnson, who would only state they had Orkin coming at 11 and IF any traces of bed bugs were found they would then be in contact. In the end we are offered no consideration as we will have to treat our vehicle and luggage. In all we were treated like we were making all of this up. Offered to show Ms Johnson the bug and the bites and she declined opting to leave it to the Orkin person. Overall, just very disappointed. We would have gone back even after the bed bug because stuff happens. What we cannot excuse is the attitude we were given.

Bring your earplugs, freeway noise is bad. Clean spacious upgraded room is nice, bed comfortable. Hot breakfast bar is staffed. Bacon and eggs, pancakes, fruit, yogurt. Morning staff is very pleasant and helpful.

A difficult situation. The first night was very pleasant and great, and Demi your clerk was very professional and helpful in finding me a room at last minute. I needed to stay another night b/c plans changed and the room they moved me to 114 was ridiculous. However, once I checked in, I had to leave right away and didn't realize this until I return that evening. Bathroom way to small for a tiny person much less me. And the breakfast staff were so noisy in the morning preparing the breakfast that I too was awaken at 4am and could not go back to sleep. That room should of came with a disclaimer!

Run by a nice group of people. A little noisy on the side near the highway. Nice indoor pool and hot tub. Wonderful breakfast. Large, clean room. Card keys had to be reset 3 times, though.

Very nice and knowledgeable staff. Treat them good and they'll treat you great. Express checkout is verified automatically by email at 3am if you elect to use it (they ask at check in) and that way you don't have to talk to anyone in the morning. Just eat a good free breakfast and leave ✌ ONLY downside, paid $208 for one night. Give me a break! Ha. But it was a great stay with a walk in booking, so 5 stars.

Great hotel in a great location! If you are visiting Colorado Springs, this hotel is out of the main area, but still close enough to visit landmarks. It is also very convenient to I 25 so leaving was easy as we were driving to Texas. Very clean and very nice breakfast. Would stay here again if we return to Colorado Springs.

Clean, well kept, super friendly staff. The breakfast staff are the friendliest I've ever encountered, and went out of their way to make my 2 & 4 yr old boys laugh. Them — the cleanliness of the room, and the overall professionalism of the whole staff — inspired our 4 yr odds to write a thank you note that he handed to the front desk the morning of our last breakfast, without any prompting from his parents.

We stayed at this Best Western when we moved to Fort Carson in the fall of 2013 and we got to stay just a couple of weeks ago when we were in transition of moving from Fort Carson. They have renovated the hotel so it looks nice with the updated appliances and fixtures. However, there were little discrepancies such as the physical flip lock (don't know what they call the modern chain locks) was loose on the door and though it locked if someone was to kick in the door it would have been easily done so. They have the vent come on with bathroom light and with the water in the shower going too it tends to be really loud. Also, the bathrooms have no privacy wall or space when you walk in so it causes your roommate to knock before coming in because you could easily be exposed to a passerby. With that said, the staff was so wonderful and helpful and were truly awesome people. Breakfast was great. The pool was a little cool but with the hot tub was a perfect combo. 2 of the 3 exercise machines were down but doesn't look like it gets used a lot. They are in repair.

It was a very nice best western. The pool and hot tub we're very large and very warm. The breakfast had a good selection as well as the service was very nice. Rooms weren't huge, but fit all or our fairly large family just fine! Overall loved the hotel.

Our room was clean and the staff was pleasent and helpful. The location was convenient as there are three dining options in the parking lot and several more within a reasonable walking distance. I was a bit dissatisfied with the laundry facilities. I washed and attempted to dry 4 pairs of pants. After 2 hours in the dryer on high my pants were still wet and the front desk was unable to make change for a third hour in the dryer. The facial tissue and bathroom tissue also left a bit to be desired as the facial tissue was extremely fragile and the bathroom tissue was rough and thin. That being said, I would gladly stay here again. Very comfortable stay.

Comfortable beds, nice shower (no tub), we didn't go to the pool and hot tub but it was indoor which we liked. The eggs at the continental breakfast weren't that great which is why I didn't give them 5 stars and the dryer could only handle small loads so we couldn't dry all of our clothes in a timely manner. But the staff was great and our room was clean, which in my book is top priority. All in all we would stay there again and would recommend it to our family and friends.

Shockingly a nice hotel. Hard to find but that was Google maps fault. Was worried about our stay based on external looks… but the room was amazing!. The bed was soft and the "living room" was super cool. Couch and office chair, 2 TV's, microwave and a fridge. Overall a great stay.

Very nice room, staff was wonderful. Only complaint I have is the bathroom was small. The toilet almost touched the door when you opened it. I loved the hardwood floors in the entranceway of the room. I would recommend this hotel!

The best hotel I've ever stayed at. 24 hour coffee and tea bar, amazing free breakfast every morning with two of the nicest girls. All of the hotel staff was super friendly and incredibly helpful with any questions we had about the city. Would definitely recommend and if we weren't moving, we'd stay here again!

OK for a stopover.

This was a very convenient location for me. Despite the lower price, the room was rather nice.

While they have (mostly) very nice staff and the hotel is clean, the unsafe conditions of our recent stay have prompted me to share our experience at this Best Western. On our first night of our three-night stay, my family and I were all in bed when I smelled something strange. I got up to investigate and discovered that the plug to our wall heater was burning and there was smoke coming from it (the strange smell was burning plastic plus the smoke). I quickly turned off the heater (which was set on low heat for about an hour before this occurred) and my husband opened the window and called management. Thankfully our young child was on the other side of the room and didn't seem to be affected by the smoke, although I was coughing that rest of that night. The night manager arrived shortly and hurried us out of the room as quickly as he could and moved us to a room down the hall. He apologized and said he thought the night would be free but added not to quote him on that (we did not get a free night). We had been in a King Mini Suite and were moved to a room with two full sized beds. It was not ideal (since my husband is taller than a full size bed is long) but of course we were just thankful that they had a room available at all since this was shortly before midnight. The next morning, I went to the front desk to talk about moving back into a King Mini Suite.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for the weekend. The rooms were pretty clean and breakfast was good. The staff was super friendly to us in the morning when we were getting breakfast and when we checked out we realized we booked the room for an extra night. Max, the guy at the front desk, refunded us the money and was super helpful compared to a lot of places we have stayed at before. Thanks for a great and affordable weekend Best Western!

Lets start with the good: — Nice Staff — Most staff have a willingness to help — accessible location just off the interstate Areas of growth: — Cleanliness… We checked in for a two night stay. On our first night after crawling into bed and finally falling asleep to the sound of screaming children, my partner woke up and threw all the covers off the bed. After searching for the "thing that was crawling on me" we found a nice big beetle caught in between the sheets. At this point I stripped the beds a part (also thinking there may be other bugs. ) and called the front desk. We caught one of the bugs in a glass, brought it to the front desk where we were given another room for the night, and were told "it's bug season get over it! " in an extremely cynical tone of voice. We took our keys, packed up our items and moved into a new "clean room. " In the morning after showering I got out of the shower just to find more creepy crawlies coming out from the cracks between the shower and floor. At this point we packed everything up and spoke to the front desk where a very kind and understanding young man took note of our concerns. Unfortunately there was no manager in so we couldn't speak directly to him, but our concerns apparently were addressed with him. It was decided they would reimburse our monies for the first night and move us to a third room for our second night.

The room itself wasn't bad but the front desk clerk was so rude it was enough to ruin the whole stay. I contacted them the day after because I had left my glasses there. (If I had contacts on and I didn't grab my glasses there is no possible way they wouldn't have been in the room. ) The front desk clerk was very rude when asked for help. He was uncooperative, wouldn't put the head housekeeper on hold, and only offered to get my number down to call me back if they glasses were found. Never got a call back so we kept calling. Their response was just making us feel stupid for asking for help. People like that should NOT have customer courtesy jobs. Shame on them.
