The hotel is in the walking distance to the town. The room was neat and comfortable. We booked the standard room, which was in the basement. Was bit disappointed since there are no windows. The continental breakfast needs improvement. Also the Wi-Fi was really spotty. Parking can be an issue if you are staying during a busy time. Overall considering it’s in Aspen it’s a an economical choice.

I'm sitting in my room here at The Durant here in beautiful Aspen, which is heaven on earth. I scored a balcony room, and I'm planning to spend some time on the balcony tomorrow with a cup of coffee. The Durant isn't perfect. The rooms are tight. This is my 4th time here and I just discovered the drawers under the bed. There are no ice machines, but the owner informed me that they do have ice. And it's real ice, hard as a rock, not ice that's been sitting in a machine for hours. So, go light and keep your ice in the fridge. The Durant is a boutique hotel, affordable but really nice. The building reminds me of a 3-story passenger train car with a narrow hallway. The housekeeping staff is friendly and warm. The beds are comfortable. There is a little noise from the room above, but it didn't interfere with my sleep. Breakfast is continental and lots of healthy choices. The owners and staff of The Durant take great pride in their work, and they deserve it. The Durant is a good value, and the only thing I regret about posting this review is that others might beat me to the room I want next summer.

Enjoyed our stay. Adrienne was wonderful. She was always ready to help in any way. Great customer service. Room was clean and comfortable. Hot tub was clean and maintained.

I've been staying here since 2003, I love it. So nice, clean, quiet and friendly. I get to see my friends year after year that stay during the same week. Love the hot tub and close to the free bus stops. 2018 — another great stay at HD!

Great location, very clean and comfortable bed. The selection for the continental breakfast was fantastic. It's walking distance to everything. Parking is a bit of a hassle.

Good location, cute rooms. Wine and cheese a lovely touch. Just don’t take a room under the reception/dinning room area as every noise comes through the floor.

Stayed six nights over Christmas and was delighted with the excellent location which was within easy walking distance of downtown Aspen's restaurants, cafes, shopping and ski lift making our experience a lot of fun. The bed was extremely comfortable and bathroom had plenty of clean towels. Complimentary Continental breakfast selection was good as was the wine and cheese happy hour. Staff were friendly and helpful and I would certainly stay again.

Great place to stay in Aspen! Very clean. Great staff. Right price. What more can you ask for?! Would highly recommend!

Great service, staff was nice The room was a bit on the small side but other than that good hotel.

Booked a room for wedding. Our family did not receive the room I booked. The lady up front tried to give us room with a standard bed and wanted to put a air mattress on the floor for my child. Still ended getting a room that did not sleep 3 people. Thank goodness for family members. My child ended staying with them.

We loved our stay at Hotel Durant. We stayed over Labor Day so parking was a bit of a chore. There are only a few spots in front of the hotel, so this can be a challenge. The rooms are nice and cozy, nice big shower and big bathroom and comfortable beds. The hotel was quiet when we stayed there. The air conditioning was not easy to use (not sure it worked) so we opened our windows and it worked fine. We loved our stay and would stay again. The fresh cookies are a nice touch!

Nice, modern Colorado hotel in the heart of Aspen. The proprietor seems passionate about his business and the end product shows. Water was hot. The bed was comfortable; I rarely sleep 8 hours but I did at the Durant. I travel a lot and I recommend this hotel.

A good value for Aspen with a great location. Chocolate chip cookies and continental breakfast were fresh and delicious. The rooms were a little small, but very clean and comfortable. The basement rooms do not have A/C and we were a little warm going to sleep during our July stay. We did feel like we were a little bit of a bother to the hotel manager/front desk agent with our 2 young daughters. Had a bit of a vibe that it is not a place for children.

Cozy place, right near the heart of Aspen. Rooms were clean, an amazing fat and fluffy doona/duvet made it a great sleep. Good size bathroom with plenty of bench space made it a great stay.

Rooms were nicely done but very small, bathrooms very nice, good included breakfast but the rooms have only a few outlets that are well hidden and none in the bathroom that we could find which we thought funny since they have a blow dryer in the bathroom. The A/C unit was impossible to figure out how to use and no channel list for the TV. The TV is on a movable wall mount but when we angled it to face the bed it fell off the wall. It was only hanging by one nail. Overall the place was nice and great location but the little annoyances got to us.

Nice room, great price especially for the location. Only stayed one night but we would definitely return.

I've been saying at Hotel Durant for years and absolutely love it. Plus, since a remodel a few years ago, there is no better value. Short of being ski-in-ski-out, there is no better value. Last year I stayed at St. Regis and found myself wishing I was at the Durant.

A Must stay. Lady at front was polite and nice. Never once taked about charges after check in. Provided us with an extra folding bed. Awesome customer service. Nice clean restroom. And at heart of aspen with gandola rides.

The staff was extremely helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and the location is great! A very good value for the money! We will definately stay there again.
