Amazing food! staff is excellent.

The first thing that happen was we were going to be overcharged but after much talk we got it reduced but not to the wedding price that was agreed upon. 2 the noise level in this hotel is loud when there are weddings 3-4 in morning is a party don’t bother complaining it will fall on deaf ears. This hotel is not a 500 a night hotel. Our bedroom had a leak from shower to the bedroom. The whole atmosphere is not high class. The food service was slow. I understand short staff issues but not here at the rate they charge for the food. So after 2 days of constant noise and the leaky room what they said was we are Sooooo Sorry. That’s pretty much it. Not impressed this is a 3 star hotel with a 5 star price.

I had the scallion pancakes (salmon, avocado, duck egg) which was delicious & the 12 other people in my party were not disappointed! Clean, lovely decor, friendly bartenders & waitstaff. I highly recommend.

Real food with sophisticated preparations and nuanced flavors, served by a great staff. Appropriate portions and courses that are paced to allow you to enjoy an app and main without feeling unpleasantly full. Fun drinks and a good selection of wine by the glass (try the Riff SB! ).

Food horrible! server nice. Food blan rushed needed salt alot of salt as per my Son on the spaghetti and sauce. The Bread and Rose was the only thing good. Plus I went to museum and kids are suppose to get 50% off. Gave them my receipt they kept it and took of 10%. But mostly food Smh.

The food was awesome and the service was stupendous. The drinks were knock out.

Our waiter Scott was excellent, we followed his recommendations on the prefixed dinner menu and were not disappointed!
Add in a good bottle of wine finish off with a good desert and it’s a great meal. Btw have Scott make you cappuccino you won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful hotel, amazing service and outstanding food at the restaurant. Beginning to end the staff is amazing. Highly recommend staying at this property. We had a lovely anniversary weekend. Can’t wait to go back. ❤️

This is a review based on my visit to the bar here. Great friendly staff with a warm atmosphere. Property has some nice history to it with a lot of modern flare.

Love The Preston House! Beautiful, elegant, classy addition to Riverhead! Jennifer, Brian and Nolan are top notch, always so welcoming and there to meet everyone’s needs. Great food and cocktails! Fun night at the pig roast! Love the open deck and patio area. We will be back again and again!

The service was outstanding. Alberto at the front desk was so helpful to my family. The hotel is super clean and designed very well. Its not cheap but anything good usually isn't. The food at the restaurant was a 10 WOW thats all I can say. Keep it up.

We just had my husbands birthday party downstairs in the Mahogany and Stone room, it was amazing! We had use of the wine lounge and were able to truly relax and enjoy our night. The food and the service were outstanding… highly recommend!

I don't often give a place 5 stars because although a place might be good I feel it should wow me to get 5 stars. This place is one of them. I had brunch here and I have to say I absolutely loved it. There was no salt or pepper on the table which at first bothered me until I tasted my food and it was seasoned exactly just right that I didn't need to add anything. I had the 2 egg anyway special with sausage. I got my eggs sunny side up. Amazing. Did I mention the coffee? So good I had 3 cups. Really rich and strong. I not only highly recommend this place, I can not wait to go back myself. It is a little pricey but it was well worth it. The staff was super friendly and created a really good vibe. A total expirence. This place is Aces…

Beautiful new restaurant, perfect place to stop in between the city and the Hamptons. The duck was exquisite. We loved our food and we were still jealous of the dishes that were showing up at other tables. The crispy artichoke hearts were so good we ordered more.

Bright and elegant. We shared a few snacks at the bar but didn't say for dinner due to plans. Service was extraordinary. Feel was very old school in a good way. Full service bar with food, happy hour specials. Some local wines, but not yet enough, local beers, too. Great, well rounded wine selection, price points were amazing. Some downstairs space for groups, small corporate events. Additional upstairs dining space. Potential for some outdoor seating in warmer weather. A definite elegant addition to Main Street, worth checking out.

Beautiful hotel rooms and great food. I have never thought of Riverhead as a destination for cocktails and dining, but now I am pleasantly surprised by The Preston House.

So far as I sit here this restaurant as it is beautiful the decor is rustic meets modern and the food is exquisite to say the least. The drinks are so original. They even indulge the children. The hosts and servers wonderful and accommodating.
