Wilfred and Veda welcomed us with open arms — our stay at the bed and breakfast felt like a home away from home. They made sure we were well cared for and made our experience memorable. The B&B was squeaky clean, taking all COVID precautions into consideration. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious! We look forward to our next stay there!

Spent two nights for Valentine’s Day weekend and already can’t wait to be back! Veda and Wilfred are the most amazing hosts imaginable. They make you feel right at home. Veda is an extraordinary cook and very accommodating to dietary needs. Wilfred is a book of knowledge and wisdom. They’re a wonderful addition to your morning breakfast, are great conversationalists and provide an overall very pleasant experience. Their B&B is beautifully decorated and clean and in a quaint little town only 5 minutes away from the town of Greenport. They know a lot about the area and have great recommendations for food and adventure. We checked out this morning with new friends we can’t wait to visit again. Highly recommend to any and everyone seeking a peaceful getaway in wine country!

My husband Nehad and I have been to the Arbor View House Bed & Breakfast twice now, both times celebrating anniversaries. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this beautiful place. Wilford and Veda are so welcoming and hospitable. You can tell by their home and the DELICIOUS food that this is surely a labor of love for them. The rooms are beautifully decorated and so comfortable that if a rainy day keeps you in you will be relaxed and content to be there. Make sure to check in in time for tea which is between 3pm and 5pm. You won't want to miss the delicious homemade goodies Veda prepares along with a nice cup of hot or cold tea depending on the season. The breakfast served is like no other as there are many different dishes all of which will probably be a delightful new experience for you. One thing that my husband and I truly love is that all the guests eat breakfast together in the dining room with Wilford and Veda joining us. They are quite entertaining with their many stories and everyone joins in on the lively conversation. We just feel so at home there, eating good food and meeting wonderful new people. Nehad and I look forward to our next getaway to not only enjoy the Arbor View House but to see Wilford and Veda who feel like old friends.

My family and I took a weekday getaway Tuesday-Thursday and stayed here. We had an amazing time. The grounds were beautiful with a little swing in the yard. It was a very peaceful environment, just what we needed. I loved sitting down with Wilfred and Veda to have breakfast each morning. The food was spectacular! Would definitely recommend anyone looking for family time, couples time, or just alone time (hey we all need it! ) to stay here.

Arbor View House is a great place to go and escape the city and relax. There are trails for a nice walk with the kids and Fiance to explore and wind down from the city's hustle and bustle. The food is extraordinary, Veda is a great chef and hostess. The food is extremely healthy and explodes with flavor. Wilfred is a great host and very easy to talk to and has a lot of knowledge, you can easily talk to him for hours. He and Veda make your stay amazing, the rooms are always extremely meticulously cleaned for each new visitors. The beds are like sleeping on a cloud, Arbor View House is a definite must visit. You will not be disappointed.

The Arbor View House Bed and Breakfast is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL AND ROMANTIC place to stay on the North Fork of Long Island. What a gem! The house itself is charming and unique. The hosts are accommodating and truly took the time to ensure our comfort. They provided lots of information about the local area and took the time to cook the most DELICIOUS breakfasts made with lots of love.

The owners are great people committed to delivering an exceptional experience and warm inviting environment.

My husband, Tom and I needed a relaxing December weekend together after a fairly stressful few months. And we found it with Wilfred and Veda at Arbor View Bed and Breakfast. From the very beginning, not only were we welcomed with a warm fireplace, hot tea and delicious snacks, but with an equally welcoming — and incredibly interesting host and hostess. Throughout our 2-day stay, we felt completely nurtured. Veda is a great cook and provided incredibly delicious and nourishing breakfasts. Besides the overall charm of Arbor View, Tom and I were VERY IMPRESSED with how impeccably clean everything was and how comfortable we were just hanging out in our beautifully decorated room, which also had a fireplace! Tom and I now feel that, not only have we found a refuge from our hectic lifestyles — but we have also made new friends! Thank you Wilfred and Veda. We look forward to spending time with you again.

We had a very pleasant stay at the arbor view house. It is not a typical hotel but rather a home, guests and hosts have breakfast together in the living room, which prepared by Veda and really delicious. Wilfred and Veda made us feel very welcome at their home.

Great place to stay for a few days of touring the North Fork! Fantastic breakfasts!

My husband and I stayed at Arbor View House for the second time over the labor day weekend. Wilfred and Veda are wonderful people! Upon arriving Wilfred gave us information on the many wineries, restaurants and places of interest. There home is lovely and very comfortable. We found a bouquet of roses in our room and everything we needed to make our stay relaxing and perfect. Veda prepared a delicious breakfast each morning and was kind enough to pass on a recipe. The location is very convenient to shops, wineries and wonderful restaurants. We will definitely be back! Without hesitation we definitely recommend Arbor View House B&B!

We had a great stay at the Arbor View House! The place is very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. It was a short drive to Greenport town area and many of the wineries. Wilfred and Veda were very helpful and sweet. Veda makes an amazing, delicious breakfast! We had a massage while we were there and it was the best I've had in a long time! All in all, definitely a relaxing getaway.

No privacy whatsoever. The host is always in your face. Our car got damaged on "hotel" parking lot overnight. But the host had never seen "perpetrators " and probably still looking for "them" ;-). I would recommend this place if you need someone to "hold the candle" while you are spending the romantic night with your loved once. Also, you should park your car on the main road — less chances to put dents on it. About local scenery — explore on your own… The host is hundred years old and his suggestions haven't changed since they brought him to America.

My fiance and I are getting married this July and have been stressed with the wedding planning. He had surprised me with this weekend getaway. We could not have had a more peaceful, relaxing time. Wilfred and Veda are very warm and welcoming. When we arrived on Friday afternoon, we were greeted with Jamaican beef patties, pecan pie, and cheesecake. Our room and the entire house was immaculate. During the breakfasts, we loved to sit and talk with the other guests, as well as the owners. Wilfred was great at giving suggestions and advice about the different places we should visit. All in all, it was a fantastic experience. We would like to return again duing the summer months. Thank you Wilfred and Veda for making this trip so memorable for us!

My husband and I were looking into a little getaway for our anniversary. We are so happy we found Arbor View! Wilfred and Veda are such wonderful people and they make you feel at home. Wilfred is very knowledgeable and Veda is sweet as well as an excellent cook! The house was lovely and our room was beautiful. We wished we could have stayed longer! Definitely stay at Arbor View!

My boyfriend and I loved staying here. The atmosphere and vibe was absolutely amazing for a romantic getaway. We both will be returning here for the summer. I honestly wish I could give them 10 stars. Both Wilfred and Veda had such great energy, kindness and warmth. They made a lasting impression on us. We loved our conversation we had at the breakfast table. If you need to get away from your every day life, grab your other half, go wine tasting and stay here. You will feel brand new when you leave. There is something very healing and inspiring about the owners. It is definelty a trip I'll never forget.

My husband and I just returned from a weekend escape to the North Fork to celebrate his 40th birthday. I chose Arbor View B&B for our stay mainly because it was a last minute decision to travel out east and on such short notice, they happened to have had one room available (there are 4 rooms to select from in the house) where most places were booked. I was comforted by the positive reviews I found online and the fact that it was a b&b. If you are looking for a memorable stay by Greenport and all the vineyards, be sure to visit Arbor View.

My husband and I celebrated our 30th Anniversary at Arbor View. We had never done a B&B before, but my husband had an unexpected hip replacement just one month before our anniversary, so we couldn't travel very far. We stayed in the Zinfandel room (it was downstairs and had the Shifman mattress) We had a wonderful time and slept very well. The mattress was perfect and it was very quiet in the back of the house. Veda's delicious breakfast kept us full and soaked up all the wine we drank all day doing the wine tastings at the many local wineries. What we thought would be just a calm weekend still recuperating from hip surgery turned into one of our more enjoyable trips. Wilfred is a delight to talk to and Veda's breakfast and company is comforting.

We've just spend the most wonderful weekend at Arbor View. Wilfred and Veda are amazing hosts, the B&B is quiet, charming, clean and cozy. Veda makes an exquisite breakfast, you won't have anything like it anywhere. Plus, you can totally trust their recommendations to enjoy your time and explore the North Fork wine country. We will definetely come back.

My fiancé and I just stayed at Arbor View House this past weekend (6/26/15 — 6/28/15) and have nothing but great things to say about the overall experience. We got into town early on Friday and since check-in was not until 3pm, Wilfred provided us with multiple recommendations starting with an amazing brunch spot, then to the beach for the day, capped off with a stroll around the downtown and an amazing dinner. After checking in, the conversation with Wilfred and Veda just added to our overall experience. Personally, my favorite part of the whole weekend was the delicious breakfast Saturday and Sunday morning and the family-like atmosphere and conversations we had around the table. If you are looking for a fun, relaxing weekend on the North Fork, Arbor View House is conveniently located right near a couple of public beaches and more vineyards than I could count. Great weekend overall — my fiancé and I cannot wait to go back.

My wife and I wanted to get away for some much need rest and relaxation, but did not want to travel too far from home. The Arbor View House B&B was the perfect retreat. The B&B is a cozy Victorian home that is clean, comfortable, warm and inviting. The Merlot room had nice robes and slippers, wine glasses, an electric fireplace for warmth and ambiance, and a nice TV, everything we needed. Veda was so helpful in helping us book massages, a terrific wine tour and a great place for dinner. All we had to do was relax and enjoy. We loved our conversations with Wilfred and Veda, hearing Wilfred's great stories, and they were both great listeners too. Our breakfasts were plentiful; we loved everything, especially the corn beef hash and the chickpeas. Everything was delicious and unique. Afternoon tea and homemade scones were the best. Our stay exceeded our expectations. Wilfred and Veda are such lovely people and wonderful hosts; they made us feel right at home, while respecting our privacy. We highly recommend the Arbor View House, and we will definitely return.

We can't say enough great things about our stay. Arbor View lived up to and beyond all the great reviews we had read. The rooms were immaculate, our bed huge and comfortable. Location is central to everything and every place we wanted to visit — the local beaches, the Greenport restaurants and bars, and the ferries to Shelter Island and Sag Harbor. They know everyone and all the best places from best wine tours to best places to walk. The breakfast is just amazing! Doubt you'll find any feast like it at any B&B nationwide. From caramelized stuffed french toast to quiche to Caribbean favorites saltfish and plantains — and the biscuits. But the best thing about Arbor View is the proprietors themselves, Veda and Wilfred. Our conversations lasted for hours. Literally. And would have gone longer if they didn't have a business to run, and we remembered we actually came there to see the area. We will definitely be returning to see our new friends who feel like long time ones.
