So, last night we stopped at this Travelodge. The young lady who worked the night shift (Hispanic) was just so friendly and sweet. I asked if she had rooms available she said she did but, the pillows had no pillow cases for they were out. She ended up giving us a room with pillowcases. We got room 235. Just to go up and find a room that smelled very clean… which is a good sign. I did a bed bug check and luckily NO bed bugs. But, we couldn’t take off our socks because the carpet was so filthy and The was a huge hole and I mean huge hole behind the door. There also a drug deal next to our parked car. TWEEKER CENTRAL! This was the first time I was actually scared someone was going to come into our room while we slept. Travelodge clean up your motel! give that young hispanic girl and the maids some extra money because this place is a dump!

The staff are very patient and respectful. Me and my kids enjoy our stay and recommend people to come when you need a room.

The guy at the front desk was very friendly. That was about the only positive thing. The room looked nothing like the pictures shown. The bed was made but the pillows were just tossed on the bed with no pillow covers. My husband had to go ask for towels. It was kind of dusty. And there were holes in the walls, the bathroom looKed as if it had been kicked in. Not all the lights worked. The shower curtain rod was broke and the toilet would not flush and got backed up on us. My husband got it fixed before we left… I w Dras really disappointed in the appearance of the hotel. It looked nothing like the pictures advertised online. Will I stay there again? NAH! probably not. Would I recommend it to friends and family. Nope not a chance.

The staff are very nice and friendly, but you get what you pay for in a room. This is the shabbiest Wyndham hotel we have ever stayed. At least it's bug free and a place to sleep while visiting Yosemite.

We stayed here for a week because of pricing. For the first 3 nights the pillows did not have any pillowcases. We brought our own pillows from home. The bed sheets were filthy and were changed on the first night. The following nights the sheets were never changed, we knew because of the burned hole at the top of the sheet. 2 nights out of 7 we actually had more than one towel in the room without having to ask for extra. The faucet was leaking and they had said they just remodeled. There were numerous spiders in the bathroom and the floors were filthy, not even cleaned during houskeeping rounds. The bathroom door also had a hole in it that looked like it had been punched. I guess you get what you pay for…

Crappy. Bad owner and staff. Some staff live on premises and were very rude. My room smelled like weed upon entering and front desk clerk said it happens. Refrigerator didn't work and was leaking. Bathroom was covered in mold, and the room was horrible. Upon checkout we explained our troubles and owner/mgr laughed at us and said it is what it is. Douchebag. Don't go there. Ever. Sleep in you car in walmart parking lot instead. It's that bad.

After checking in to the hotel, we were given a single key to our non-smoking room. Extra keys required a $5 deposit each. When we went to our room, the door was missing it's top security latch, so we were unable to secure the door outside the single door latch and electronic lock. The wall in the room had dents from what looked like bullet holes that we're painted over. A dart board was drawn onto the wall by the door. There were mystery stains on the couch. The room reeked of cigarette smoke. Ultimately my wife and I chose to stay elsewhere in Turlock after not feeling safe here. We would not recommend this place to anyone who could afford anything better.

Well in a nutshell it's just the cheapest place you can stay in Turlock nothing fancy or extravagant in fact my room doesn't even have a TV or a telephone and it should have also the microwave doesn't work and they never have clean towels but I still come back to this place because I'm broke or very low on funds it's much easier to get your foot in the door with weekday rates around $50 range and only jumping up about 10 bucks on weekends. People are up all night the air smells like s*** outside because they're growing strawberries in an open field across the street and cow manure it always smells like this. And the popo are sure to be called out numerous times throughout the day and night every single time I have stayed here.

It's rubbish if you think that by saving a few pesos you will comfortably stay in this motel pure people in crazy pure street situation is not recommended for a family.

While waiting on a place my family and I stayed here yeah it looks a bit rough and some employee are asses but for the most part we were comfortable for the first time in months mantainace was good couldn't find my key and he helped some maids were also great and most of the ladies at the front desk to but there was one guy who was horrible told my daughter we ask for to much and refused to give us anything. 2 towels for a family of 5 u need to learn better customer service or find a new job other than that I'd stay again.

Was a convenient nights stay. The guy at the front desk was very cool about parking and room type.

This is an inexpensive hotel and the rooms reflect that. The floors are wood laminate and holes in the walls were inexpertly repaired. It is definitely Haworth what you pay for. The rooms do have new, very large televisions and the staff was nice.

First of all we had to listen to the lady at the front desk complaining about a room that never got cleaned. Then we were given a room that was never cleaned from the last guest. Finally we got our room that smelled bad. Had a hole in the bathroom door and torn up towels. There was a employee whistling really loud at a delivery truck super early in the morning. The lights by the bed did not work right. Screen on windows falling off. The maids never came by the next day to clean our room. Oh and don’t forget the naked man walking around. Never staying at any Travelodge ever again!

Being a retired Marine, I've been in my share of less than par places to stay. This place rates right up there with the worst of them. The rug was so dirty and stained I was afraid to walk on it. The walls had places where it looked as if someone had punched them. The toilet flush handle was broken as was the shower knob. There were no towels and the answer from the clerk was someone had stolen them and they didn't have replacements. So no shower for me. Did I mention that it was filthy? Note the huge cobweb on the ceiling and coffee spill that wasn't wiped up. Oh, yeah, no pillow cases on the pillows. Had to get them myself and put them on. Advertised at $46.00 so I kind of expected it, but actually $80.00 with the $10.00 discount for military. So false advertising too. Just needed a bed and it was too late to keep looking. Avoid this place like the plague. The pot party two doors down was finally done by midnight and their dog calmed down. 3:30am and there seems to be some type of loud transaction going on in the parking lot. No tell motel? This seems to be a trend with Travel Lodges. Will avoid them as well as Motel 6 in the future. Did I mention it was filthy? Woke up this morning to the cockroach brigade. Couldn't get the pic. They were too fast. Not eating the continental, that's for sure.

The service at the Travelodge was good overall. The staff certainly does what's required of them to get the job done, nothing more, nothing less. The only reason why I gave it a 3/5 instead of a 4/5 is because of the location which is nothing special and because the quality of the actual rooms themselves is in my opinion below average.

Great hotel! Front desk staff very professional. Accommodated my whoke group last minute. So we are able to help local children's hospitals. Very comfortable rooms would recommend to anyone. Even children and pet friendly!

First night here and after letting less than a clean bathroom floor slide and forgave a obvious saftey hazord as in a handycap shower bench falling off the wall I went ahead and reserved two more days. To my horror as im getting settled in the next morning I discover on the open floor of the room I now committed to is a pile of dog droppings. The pile of feces has been there for some time in its appearance. Finding poop in your motel room is probably not all that uncommon if your to look for it. Unfortunately I was not looking for it and as a matter of fact thats the last thing anyone wants to put there head on as I allmost did in a passionate moment with my date. After that ruining the moment for us and it being even worst because I can't even take a shower on / in the handycap shower due to the risk. I now wait untill 2:30 — 3:00 to see if the room is traded with a clean room hopfuly with a bathtub so I can bathe without stress and worry. If not then a full refund because if I don't get a fair and just trade or this comped (something) to show respect over my situation ill be sitting alone in that room until Terry Starks or his a societs and disability advocates arrive to review and asert proper action. $185.00 on my MasterCard is no small amount and disappointment and discusses of a most unhappy date is starting to sicken me deeper by the minute. Im outraged.

Sorry and very shady. Did not feel comfortable. Dirty sheets, broken tv, very deplorable flooring and General conditions. Stayed due to only reservations available during the Turlock car show.

The staff is really nice and very helpful. The maintenance was GREAT, they came in and fixed everything went above and beyond.

New definition of a roach motel. Sexuality there is WAY fluid. I'm queer and the 'straight' guys always BOTTOM OUT, so ii guess I'm straight then? But I don't get topped!

Not happy first room that she gave me was not clean at all bed not change left over food on the table one shirt hanging in the iron board wireless not good at all. Will never come back. Note towels are bad condition can be used has rugs. The customer "lady"was helpful and she mumble that housekeeping are not doing there job. Oh one more breakfast not good. I better stop. I have pictures upon request.

Made a reservation & cancelled due to the area surrounding the hotel. Homeless people wandering around, and we were in a semi truck. The parking was across the street & was sand. We were under a heavy load & did not want or felt safe to leave our truck there.

Disgusting! Cockroaches. A lot, I mean alot, of flies. Broken shower handle. Carpet is filthy with stains everywhere. Drapes broken and falling off, had to hang myself. Floors had paint like room was under construction. Told the front desk manager, no apology or response. Total lack of pride of ownership and reflects badly on Wyndham. Not even worth one star. Disgusting!

If I could less than a one star, I would. The place was nearly uninhabitable. Definitely substandard. They really should do something about the roach infestation.

I know everyone here. All so nice to me and my sister. I get everything. No problems. Excellent service good food.

Had a wonderful stay with my family, room was very nice an comfortable, nice an up graded witch I loved… front desk very nice an helpful, I recommend to familys who are traveling an on a low budget. This is the motel u will love an can afford… I will come back for another stay.

Hotel is a hot spot to enjoy new friends an vibe is chill. Ppl friendly with great in housekeeping. Rooms are on point with size an comfort.

All the reviews are true. Nice people, terrible rooms, comfortable bed, all things worked. Bugs, stains, leaks. Very well lit at night. Noisy but nothing ear plugs didn't cancel out. It is what it is…

DO NOT STAY HERE! They have roach infested rooms, they say they aren't smoking rooms but they all smell like smoke. Half of the appliances don't work and they don't clean the rooms properly. If I could I would add negative stars. They say they're under new management but that's no excuse, these rooms shouldn't be able to be rented out they're horrible. I want to see if management would allow their family members to stay a few nights here!

Very pleasant staff. I stayed here with my son and our dog for 3.5 weeks, in between houses. They were very nice. They were remodeling too. I hope ya'll enjoy your stay as much as we did.

This was a great budget hotel big room super comfortable bed free breakfast and a pool the only thing that would've made it better is if the room had a microwave.

People who rate less than 5 stars are ridiculous, this is a Travelodge not a 5 star Hilton. Always have a nice time here and the employees are always helpful, they are remodeling too so it will be very nice once its all done :)

Reserved a room & when I got there the receptionist was a female & she was super nice. The remote to the TV didn't work, but the room wasn't bad & was clean. However the next morning when I was heading to check out with my 2 year old a rude younger male asked which car was mine as soon as I stepped out of the room. Then proceeded to tell me to move it. The guy at the desk in the morning was also rude to a black woman who was in front of me while I was waiting my turn with my daughter he accused her of cutting in front of me. I told him she was ahead of me & he didn't apologize just continued to have a piss poor attitude. I won't be returning. To the woman who booked my room your awesome.

Booked a room for 50$ by phone, upon arrival less than two hours later I was told my room was double booked, and the only remaining room would be 76 plus tax. The staff was unapologetic, and treated me rudely. I opted for the motel 6 up the road. I recommend you do the same.

As a person with superior standards, I almost allowed the negative reviews of this facility hinder me from lodging here. I am thankful for that small inner voice that made me judge for myself. The receptionist at the front desk was courteous and classy. I found her professionalism refreshing. I had just arrived from Alabama, and was exhausted. My room is clean, no bugs in the bed, etc. Everything works including all outlets and lamps. The Wi-Fi is awesome and I am streaming numerous devices as we all usually do. I have enough towels. My sheets are clean. My fridge is clean and cools well. The room is extremely spacious, and has a large flat screen TV that allows me to connect my laptop via HDMI so I can watch more of what I want, when I want. The most amazing part of the experience is the cost, under $50 nightly. I almost forgot, free breakfast! I encourage everyone to try this hotel for yourself instead of listening to the numerous hate filled comments.

The rooms aren't well clean. There were some stains on the sink and the night table was cover of dust. The blankets were dirty too. The good thing is the air conditioner. And the beds are comfortable.

The bathroom in my room was in bad shape. There was a lot of holes in the walls and the shower was pretty dirty. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were really small. Not bad for a last minute hotel if nothing else is available.

Was the worst visit I ever had. The 1st room we were put in smelled like cigarettes and then turned on the bathroom light and the wall was covered in cockroaches. I Told the manger, so he put us in a new room. We get to the room and the door was open. Could not deadbolt the door. The pillows are dirty and no pillow cases on them. It was cleaner (no bugs) than the 1st one he put us in but was still not good. Carpet was covered in black stains and smelled like cigarettes. Would never go back.

Worst hotel, although I don't think the owners or workers care. The front desk receptionist was wearing headphones while helping us and he gave us no info on Wi-Fi or where the rooms were. Everything in the room looks old and outdated, the room never cooled down it was hot all night. You only get two towels and don't try to ask for more because the receptionist will get offended. Don't forget about the spiderweb and dead spiders in the bathroom. There's just nothing nice to say about this place. Longest night of my life. Oh and the potheads outside smoking. Yeah.

I love this place because all the staff are really respectful they mind there own business unless problems may arise. I personally would recommend this motel to anyone that wants a quiet place to just relax. The maids are very hard workers sweet people thatactually.

Was only there to visit a friend for a brief moment but it was a nice both in and out. The TV was really outdated though.

Sticky, stained and crusted carpeting, paint fell off the ceiling into my food… the outlets are wiggly in the walls, there are holes in the walls everywhere, lamps didn't work, toilet flushed on its own throughout the night. Sooooo gross.

No towels, broken smoke alarm, room smelled like cigarette smoke.

The rooms are adequately clean. I had an issue with a burnt out light but the front desk was helpful, even replacing my key card.

The worst prices going up and down unbelievable people no clean towels no toilet paper someone seriously needs to sell this place or get someone that knows what the h*ll they are doing my friend is handycap and she has a five year old daughter and these people treat her like crap.

I had the worst experience. And was treated like garbage because I wasn't the one paying my partner was. And we had to pay extra because they only had double bed rooms, and when we got to the room it was a single. When we wnt to tell her she tried to change it and completely lied to my partner. So I called around different hotels and found a easier, and cheaper one. And after almost three hours of waiting I definitely didn't want to stay there. When I told her we wanted our money back, she got VERY angry and told me I need to shut my mouth. Continued to scream at me, then again told me to shut up because I didn't have the money so I didn't have a right to speak. She continued to argue and yell at me for about 10 minutes then tried to withhold the deposit like we didn't know. When I said where is it she then gave it to us. The worst part is she was a manager. There was a regular employee that was amazing. She would be a mich better manager, and the manager had her child there and was hiding in her office when people were mad and wanted to speak to her. She also told a couple that got charged for three days when they only wanted to stay one that she wasn't the manager either. And when I will be taking action in this. When I get time to find out her name, I will demand her to be fired. She should not be talking to costumers that way, she should be helping her employee instead of hiding, this all happened saturday oct. 10th. She was treating alot of people terribly.

This female "manager" needs customer service training asap! We've been here over 1 month (Aug Sept 2015) and moved 3 different times due to room issues. Having 1-2 women in housekeeping do over 20+ rooms most days is outrageous. I've changed my 2 double beds over 3 times now. Didn't get room service on many days due to "short staff" She told me giving us a free day (s) is out of her hand.? What? We've spent a lot of money here. ***Friendly housekeeping, front desk and maintenance man.

Stayed at the Travelodge in Turlock for a couple weeks and I have to say had the rudest treatment I have ever experienced. I'm also in the retail business. There was only one desk clerk that displayed excellent hospitality. Where to start? There 2 picnic tables and both were caked with dirt and dust. They were doing laundry real close by, I went over and asked for a towel to clean table, and yes she hands me one. I clean an area for me, and 5 minutes later laundry lady comes out and shakes this big lint filter 2 feet from where I'm sitting. I was covered in dust and lint, as was my drink and my lap top. Then I see so called Assistant Manager walking around, and I tell her. She explained they clean them every day, { no way }. I'm still sitting in my semi clean spot and they ask to me to get up so they can clean for me. That left me with the other dirty table. You would think they could clean the other one so I would have a clean place to sit. But No! The General manager talks to women and treats women like he's still in his country. He is the rudest man. One of the clerks hands me my receipt, and he attempts to grab it out of my hands. I said you can ask to see it, but you can't grab it from me. We would pay at night for the next night, but would be rudely bothered me at 11:00 am to come sign because that Manager did not trust his staff to do their job. That little General Manager needs to be fired for the way he treats women.

For $45 a night — this is exactly what I expected. Room said it was non-smoking, but there was an ash tray and it smelled of smoke. The room was exactly what I paid for. The continental breakfast ran until 9:30am which was perfect. If you want a five star room and experience, expect to pay a five star price.

The bed was lopsided, they charge a $20 deposit so you don't steal the one towel they have in the room for 2 people. They can't give you a key because they're machine was down they said, it was still down the next morning when we checked out. I recommend checking your rooms cleanliness and making sure you have towels if you have to stay here.

Good hotel thanked God for a hotel that is livable for the price.

They were remodeling our bathrooms so I need a place to shower a few days. So instead of bothering family I got a room,, very cheap and not bad at all, would recommend, nothing fancy but clean and comfy. Staff is friendly.

This hotel is AWESOME for the price!. The service is great! I was there for a week on business and the whole staff was very helpful my room was great its not as fancy as the others but for the price these rooms are very well kept. They have a game room and a billiards room and a very nice pool. Are seems kinda crappy but its not! its very safe!. There was one front desk person in particular her name was brenda she was very friendly and very helpful always smiling. She helped with directions and restaurant suggestions she was great! I would deff recomend this place its very nice and inexpensive and its close to everything.

We reserved sight unseen, and we assumed the great rates were too good to be true. And we were right. We checked in two days early, and they were great about getting us a steal of a weekly rate. We got settled into the room and quickly realized the carpet had some sort of oily film on it, I'm assuming from all the truckers that fail to take their boots off in the rooms. Our toddler had black hands and feet within a half hour. Gross. After one night, and noticing the newer carpet in other rooms as we walked past a room being cleaned, I decided enough was enough and asked to be moved. They were apologetic and quickly moved us, but upon entering the new room we noticed more greasy carpet. Yuck. We decided to deal with it, and suited up to go for a swim. The pool was cool and clear, but had a rather funky chlorine-and-something-else smell that I couldn't quite identify. And there were cockroaches that looked like they have been well fed lurking around the edges of the pool, and a few that looked like they had gotten a little too close to the edge. Needless to say, the service was great, but the rooms left alot to be desired. My advice: bring lysol and wear shoes. ;-).
