Great place, very quiet and clean. Love to be able to park right in front of room, with trailer and our side by side off road vehicle on it. Owners very nice and accommodating to our needs.

The motel itself is quaint, with nice decor and a friendly atmosphere. The staff was courteous and competent. The two bed room was very small, but clean and well decorated. The beds are comfortable. There is indoor air conditioning, nice large TV and small microwave and coffee pot. The bathroom was very spacious and clean. Plenty of towels, soap, shampoo and a hair dryer. Outlets are few, but easy to access. Free Wi-Fi and parking directly in front of the room rounded out the amenities of this excellent little motel. The only negative thing I can think of is the soap and shampoo were horrible. Bring your own. All said, it was a great place to spend the night.

Made a few roadtrip in the US. Seen a bunch of motels. This is thé one, if the oppertunity rises, I will visit again. Sam and Linda are two lovely people who put their personal touches to the place. You feel instantly welcome when leaving the road, embarking their driveway. Fond memories.

Amazing motel! Highly recommend! This is a very special motel! It's absolutely gorgeous, maintained by amazing staff, very friendly and caring. They have flowers all around and even a small garden where you can relax. We regret deeply that we could only stay for one night and had no time in the evening or morning to relax there a bit. The room was very nice for a motel and I quite liked it. I found a small spider in the tub, but I guess it's normal for a motel, where everything is on the ground.

We had a great stay in motel Toiyabe during our West Coast roadtrip last april. The owner was very helpful and answered all our questions. The inside of our room was very cosy with a nice wooden finish. We wil definitely return if we ever decide to revisit the West Coast ;)

Such a beautiful, quiet place to stay. The scenery was amazing, the front desk was nice and welcoming. It really gave that small cabin in the woods kind of feel. I talky recommend it, and will definitely stay again.

Had a really good sleep! Rooms are cosy comfortable and clean! The inn owners are really friendly and helpful. Will stay here again if I have the chance! Best sleep for my US trip yet (1.5 weeks now). Memory foam pillows are so nice :)

Really clean and well maintained nostalgic knotty pine cabin motel run by sweet and friendly mom and pop.

What a wonderful place. Rooms are great, with wood walls built by one who knows what they are doing. The Old Goat who greeted me was perfectly charming. I hope to be like him when I grow up in, say, 4 years. Every little detail is very well done. Oh, Not expensive, either. I have paid about the same for a space at a KOA. I would go out of my way to stay here again.

The owners are wonderful. They are kind, friendly and always try to do whatever is needed to make my stay a pleasant one. They are family to me and I call or email them to get information on the fishing conditions when needed. They are my friends for life.

Delightful cozy place to stop and spend the night. Very friendly helpful on site managers. A mom & pop type of place. We enjoyed our one night stay. Cozy knotty pine cabin style room. Very comfy beds & great television with Christian & family channels. The motel is direct across the street from Walker Burger the best burgers ever. The motel is so interesting quaint and in a picturesque setting. We'd definitely return! Good value on nightly rates.

This is one of the best along 395. Sam and his wife are the most courteous, helpful inn owners there are. Their beautiful property shows how proud they are of what they have to offer. Nice, comfortable linens and towels and very clean rooms. Especially considering the classic, "rustic" charm of vintage motels. I stay there whenever I can but many times there's no vacancy! Thank you so much!

Nice country style setting. Nice views. Small room and bed. Horrible Wi-Fi access. Good luck getting phone service. And be prepared to have the owner enter your room whenever they want while you are away for a few hours.

This was such a beautiful and cozy spot in an otherwise rather "lonely" area. The rooms were comfy and clean and the owner was super friendly. Edit: The peaceful solitude of Walker was a pro for me as well. It was exactly how I wanted it to be :)

The rooms were pretty small, but clean and comfortable. There was a large garden area with tables and chairs that was really pretty and well maintained.

Perfect motel! Great place to stay during the travel. Rooms and surroundings are cozy, bed is comfortable and everything is clean. Sam and Linda are very friendly. Special thanks for the directions to the great coffee shop where I had a breakfast which made my day! Definitely will stay again and plan the route to do that.

Could not ask for a nicer place. Clean, comfortable and hospitable. Very pet friendly with a lot of outside space, for pets and vehicles, There is a roomy bbq, picnic and outside lounging area. The whole facility is well taken care of. We will always utilize the Toiyabe Inn.

These people could be family. They saw to our groups comfort on a personal level. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Very dog friendly. I enjoyed our stay here wether we were in town or out exploring the incredible countryside. Stayed here 4 days. Real down home hospitality.

Very friendly owners on site, well cared for garden with seasonal flowers, grassy picnic/barbeque area, dog friendly, really clean rooms, and across the street from the famous Walker Burger (good veggie burgers too! ). Oh yes, very reasonable rates too! Plus, the drive north on 395 is gorgeous, often parrellelling the Walker River.
