I can’t say enough about how incredible the staff have been. Some I have met, some I have watched tirelessly clear parking lots and pathways for the safety of their guests. Let’s not forget the staff who have made the rooms and condos perfect, clean and warm! We could not get to our original VRBO due to the snow…. I’m glad…. This has been the perfect place! Thank you to everyone, we appreciate everything you do! I will be back…. But in the summertime 😂😂😂

My daughters and I stayed here this past weekend. Unfortunately, when we arrived Friday night we found blood on one of the comforters. I called the front desk and Dan brought up a new blanket and took the dirty one. He was very apologetic and kind. I did not see it until the next day but there was also blood on the bottom sheet. I did let staff know when I checked out, and the gentleman at the front desk said he’d leave a note for the manager and I’d hear from them. I have not. I’m very disappointed in how this was handled (or rather, not handled). Very unsanitary — was not dealt with correctly, don’t recommend.

Perfect family resort! Will be back again in a few months.

Awesome staff there! Everyone very helpful and nice. Best location to be if you want to be in the heart of the action but want your own little serene corner. Heavenly is just about right across the street. Waking up right on the Lake is so peaceful and beautiful. Loved it there!

We loved it everything was clean our room was nice walking a few steps to the fire pit our kids just love it. We will definitely stay here again. Peggy in the front desk helped me booking she was great.

I absolutely love this place. Perfect little private place on the beach. It was fully booked and there was maybe 10 people on the beach. By 6pm the beach and pool were empty too. The views are to die for. I just wish they would install some sort of air conditioning. It does stay a little muggy in the rooms on the hotter days and takes so long to cool it down with only a fan. I highly recommend renting a kayak from day go adventures off of cave rock.

We arrived and the General Manager was so nice that she gave us a free upgrade because of my wife birthday on Dec 27. The rooms are so cozy and clean. Breathtaking bowler from room. Would recommend this hotel over any other in town.

We had such a lovely stay. The front desk was helpful with our every need from needing a new coffee pot on the room to making reservations for us on a lunch cruise. They were great. Excellent accommodations at this South Lake Tahoe lodge along the south shore of Lake Tahoe. Lodge word is synonymous with wood structure that fits very well with this simple, clean and well situated lodge. Great views from every room from this single loaded corridor lodge. The lake view constantly keeps changing as the sun reflects the water from various angles. Views at dusk and dawn are spectacular as well.

Good price, phenominal view and friendly staff. The building is showing its' age but other than that it is fantastic. Will be returning.

Beautiful views. Located directly on the beach. Centrally located. Friendly and helpful staff. Full kitchens stocked with plateware and flatware. Glass protected balconies instead of metal bars for improved visibility while sitting.

We've stayed here several times and have always enjoyed it. This year is our 36 year anniversary and we wanted to make sure it was special, so we asked for a room on the first floor facing the lake (which we got), so we can just walk out our door onto the beach. It was beautiful. The only thing we'd change is they dont have king size beds only queen. The rooms are nice but we come for the view.

We had an awesome stay at the Tahoe Lakeshore Lodge and Spa. Our corner room was fantastic and had a glorious view of the lake. The music Thursday was a great bonus we could enjoy from our balcony. We will be back to Tahoe Lakeshore Lodge and Spa for sure. Thank you for a great time.

We keep coming back over and over! All rooms are on the lake and have a view. Some rooms offer a kitchen which come in handy. Super staff and many groups come back year after year. Pool, hot tub, and spa on the second floor. I liked the robes so much I purchased one to take home. A jewel at Lake Tahoe!

Great place to stay, gave 4 stars since the bed was so squeaky when you try to adjust your position. The Lodge is just in front of the lake! And everything is close like Safeway, CVS, restaurants, in short near downtown. Attractions and activities to do are near as well from the Lodge. We will be back! Thank you Tahoe Lakeshore Lodge & Spa for the wonderful summer vacation experience my family had in Tahoe!

Beautiful hotel an amazing view. Very good attention. It Has a free cafeteria service all day and a small breakfast to take away in the mornings. Very good price.

The lodge was so lovely. We checked in and the kindest employee helped us and and explained the amenities and told us about some fun restaurants and excursions that they partner with, which ended up in discounts for us. Check in and out was easy and the employees remained friendly and happy to help with anything through out our stay. The view of the lake from the lodge rooms is breathtaking. We loved spending time on the patio. The rooms were clean and open and the beds were pretty comfortable with plenty of pillows. The bathroom was cozy and a little dated, but very well maintained. The towels were the only linen that didn't impress me as they were older (the pool towels were a little small, but otherwise okay). Our room had a flat screen tv, cable, and DVD player. The amenities rock. The free hot chocolate was a huge hit with my kids. There's coffee and a microwave in the lounge as well. The pool and hot tub are clean with plenty of lounge chairs. The lawn area with fire pit and games is a stones throw from the private beach which we really enjoyed. Another thing I adore about this lodge is the location. Walking distance to amazing eateries and a marina where we rented a paddle boat (at a discount). Walking means you won't have to pay an arm and a leg for parking. We had an amazing time at the lodge and are already planning our next trip.

Minus one star for uncomfortable beds. We stayed in two different rooms and a total of three queen beds, so it wasn’t a fluke. Otherwise loved the staff, location, decor, hot tub, lake front. Price was right. Will stay here again but bring a mattress topper!

We were a large group 12 so rented 2 units with 2.5 bedrooms with 2 baths each adjoining. Large, clean and amply supplied with kitchen utensils. What greatly greatly is it the lake is just beyond the patio. They have coffee/beverage is the reception area and the provide free rental sports/volleyball equipment. And yes the couches turns into bed too!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff was friendly and more than helpful and the views are incredible. We can't wait to get back.

My husband and I came for our honeymoon! It was a great place to stay and the spa services were incredible! I would definitely come back again.

Highly recommend this place! Really good choice for it's affordable price and prime location. Location is looking out at the lake (great view), and it is also right by a main road that provides easy access to Heavenly and dining/entertainment venues of South Lake Tahoe. Rooms are studio-style, with large-enough kitchens (stove, fridge, microwave, oven, sink, etc. ) that are fully stocked with silverware and plates/glasses/etc. Interior is not fancy, but was very clean. Amenities include a sizable HOT TUB (with extra towels), pool, volleyball court, basic breakfast (muffins, donuts, fruit, coffee, hot chocolate, etc. ), and… did I mention the lake (short couple steps away) or the VIEW? Hard to beat the value you get at the price! Staff is also super friendly and helpful. Note the walkways to get into the units are covered, but still open to the weather on the side. (Tip: easier entrance when you turn in through the nearby CVS parking lot. )

We were 2015 the first time there and were absolutely excited! Great location and very friendly staff. We are looking forward to our next visit this year!

2nd time here. My family & I just love love love this lodge. Great customer service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Kevin has done so much to make sure our stay was perfect. We will for sure be back. If you have children I do recommend getting one those there condos. The kids love the loft area and I enjoy cooking in the fully equipped kitchen. Can't wait to be back!

Location was amazing! Rooms needed a little updating, but overall did its purpose. Loved the free hot chocolate all night.

Near the beach and wonderful view from our balcony. They have, toasters, stove, microwave, coffee maker, utensils for cooking, etc. Very clean and well kept. They also have volleyball court, fireplace, hot tub, all while you admire the lake and mountains. Staff is friendly and very hospitable. Nearby walking distance, CVS, liquor store, and diners.

Highly recommend this lodge! It’s in a beautiful spot where it feels like you are on the water! The staff is amazing and went above and beyond for us! I believe Dan is who helped us and he went to the next level to make sure we were taken care of! Quality customer service!

Loved it. The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly. Wifi was a bit bad but I guess that gave me more time to spend with my friends.

This resort is located not too far from Heavenly Village. It has its own private beach and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. A Safeway is located across the street. The kitchen in the room is pretty well stocked with cooking and dining utensils. The lakeview room is steps away from the beach. The staffs are excellent and helpful.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. We had a small issue with our room and were told we would need to move rooms. A staff member met us at our room with our new keys and told us we could turn in our old keys in the morning. This allowed us to continue on with our plans for the night instead of spending time moving immediately. The view from both rooms was simply amazing. Even though we earned several free nights at the casinos, we would rather come back here on our next trip.

I have to say it was my first time in Tahoe, so I was a bit emotional when checking in because the view of the lake from the office was breathtaking. Had a wonderful time in the condo style room. Full kitchen with all the fixings. Nice view of the lake. Right on the beach and steps to the jacuzzi and heated pool. Grills outside ready to light up and cook your dinner. Fire pit for a romantic evening under the stars. The staff were awesome and so helpful! The other guests were awesome and super nice and fun to meet. I will definitely go back to this resort! Very relaxing and great vibe.

Right when we walked in the doorway the receptionist was as sweet as candy. When we got up on the 4th floor, we went straight out to the deck and looked at our view. The view was like an A+ on a test. My family and I will definitely go back and visit again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Comfortable beds. There is coffee, tea and hot chocolate but no breakfast on site. But we went to Heidi's next door and that was good. It looked like all rooms have the lake view.

I'm sure there are nice units here… room 226 is not one of them. $300 for a two bedroom unit on the beach with a balcony and a lakeview is okay to pay… but again, that does not describe room 226. Your view will be more of the pool and lodge building than lake and you can't stand up in the second bedroom… or close the curtains because there aren't any on the windows. We had to stuff pillows in the windows and pile blankets in front of them to block the light. Also, be aware there is no air conditioning. And to top it all, there wasn't even a spatula in the kitchen. Suffice it to say, we were very disappointed.

Nice view of the lake from the room! Decent rooms, clean enough. Didn't get in the pool or hot tub but both are convenient to have. Would recommend as long as you realize it isn't meant to be a 5 star hotel.

Great service and very friendly staff! The views are just breath taking, small touches make this a home away from home. Jacuzzi was really nice with the views of the mountains! The sauna was a little busy but it's definitely worth trying if you haven't!

This is a decent place to stay in budget. If you are visiting in off season (May-June) then do ask for better deals. They can open up beautiful rooms without overshooting your budget. All in all a good centralized place to stay, walking distance from most of the good eating places across the street. One downside is the private beach this property has. Its not at all maintained and is mostly empty due to lake water clogged in a creek that's breeding ground for mosquitoes and other insects. Views from the room facing lake are marvelous during sunrise and sunset.

My husband and I received a couples massage at the Spa. It was absolutely amazing. The staff was clean, professional, and incredible at what they do. We will be returning.

Perfect location all rooms have a View of the Lake and all those who are very cozy. Campfire, beach, volleyball, sauna, spa, pool, and jacuzzi all within this place. Recommended!

Great view of the lake. Comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Has beach access and is super close to the slopes. It was great to relax on the jacuzzi after a long day of skiing.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was clean, and very comfortable. We enjoyed being able to walk right out onto the beach, eating establishments were within walking distance, and the pool was very pleasant. Our unit only lacked for a mini fridge and air conditioning.

Our room was perfect for our family of four. The room opens up directly to the beach where the water is clean and warm. We enjoyed beach volleyball and playing corn hole (bean bag toss). We rented a paddleboard and relaxed in the pool and hot tub. I recommend the dry sauna too! We will definitely stay here again!

Had an excellent stay with Tahoe Lakeshore Lodge! Every room has a balcony with full lake front view. Loved the private beach access. The room is cozy and clean — but on the basic side. So if you are looking for luxurious rooms, this place is not for you. The location of the lodge is unbeatable — restaurants, Safeway, CVS, etc. Are all within walking distance. They even have BBQ racks at the backyard. Last but not least, the staff were all so courteous and helpful for any questions related to Tahoe. The only comment I have is that Wi-Fi connection can be inconsistent. Otherwise I highly recommend staying with them. Can't wait to return myself.

First off, only problem: -Hot tub wasn't warm enough and had crazy chemical levels. The rest: Amazing, I was defeated when I had to leave. The staff was friendly, the view was unbelievable (Room 315), and I loved the town as well. Vintage styling, cozy rooms, clean facilities, and a hot chocolate machine, it was great.
