Very nice, comfortable, very clean, great breakfast.

Went to breakfast at 910 am, out of coffee and waffle mix, all the tables were dirty, didn’t see anybody working there, but they were quick to close the doors at 10 and walk away leaving all the tables sticky and icky,

I am a part of a large group that was taking part in an event in Santa Barbara. We stayed at the Hampton Inn and they were very accommodating. They worked with us on an early check in and even gave us recommendations for food in the area. Very clean rooms with comfortable beds and a good breakfast.

There was a molding orange smell in the lobby and the rooms were having a humidity problem. Everything felt damp. Location is convenient for Goleta.

Disgusting. The hottub is filthy. Greasy stains all the way around. Fart smell coming up from the drain in the bathroom. Urine smell in one corner of the room. Way expensive for a backwater town and a hotel in such bad shape. The employees are very nice but if I could give no stars I would. Do yourself a favor and pass. Ugh.

Hotel is reasonably updated, and overall accommodations are on par with any Hampton Inn, but we have been plagued with issues during this stay. A systems outage had the front desk scrambling for days, at times even having to escort guests to their room every time you left as the keying system was offline. There was constant uncertainty around reservations and we were contacted several times to "confirm" the length of our stay. Overall noise levels have been well above average, and it seems soundproofing between rooms wasn't a priority. I was been kept awake by guests on another floor until well past midnight. The staff have been doing their best, and I've been very satisfied with their commitment given the situation, but I would certainly put this stay as one of the lowest of my Hilton brand experiences.

We had a room with no air conditioning and it was hot. We called and they tried to fix it. Once that did not work they moved us to our room that was air conditioned. Great experience with a great response team at this hotel.

Comfortable beds! We went into town for breakfast. Fruit rolls granola. Typical budget grab n go.

5 Star for this Inn… Front desk people re friendly… Breakfast have had plenty of selections… Room were cleaned. Close to Goleta Beach & UCB… and most specially, thankful for the Inn's Complimentary gifts.

Clean and modern. Fitness center is small but big enough to fit 3-4 cardio equipment, full set of free weights. There's a water cooler in the fitness center so make sure to bring a refillable water and you won't have to purchase their bottled water. Complimentary breakfast is decent especially the self made Belgian waffles.

The room was good, sucked that the pool was closed due to maintenance. Was there for a wedding in town and experienced no problems.

Pretty nice Hampton. Close to the beach. There's also a liquor store within walking distance. The breakfast here was better than your average Hampton. The workers at the desk we super friendly. I'd stay here again. Hopefully the pool is fine next time.

Good luck getting any sleep. Between paper thin walls and slamming doors from 6-8am there's no need to set an alarm clock! Internet service is spotty at best and if you're used to the perks of being a Hilton Honors member, be prepared to be disappointed — expect only 1 free bottle of water at check in (if you ask) and a mediocre complementary breakfast.

Room was spacious. Housekeeping missed cleaning our room one of the days, even though we were out most of the day. Free breakfast with room was a nice touch, but it was not the highest quality, though good in a pinch. Location is ok, roughly 15 minutes to downtown Santa Barbara. You're not getting any great views or access to the beach, but you're getting a cheaper price.

I enjoyed my stay here a lot. The rooms were extremely spacious and clean. It was quiet in my room which is a huge plus as someone who is a light sleeper. Free breakfast is a plus as well.

We had a nice stay. No issues and comfortable hotel. However, we stayed only two nights and they didn't do room service.

When I checked in the young lady who greeted me with a smile was GREAT! I appreciate great customer service.

Nice, clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff made the stay very pleasurable. Only complaint is that the cleaning staff would hold up the elevator and shove their huge carts onto the elevator while guests were on the elevator. Guests would be all cramped in the elevator with this huge cleaning cart and it would take the cleaning staff forever to push the cart on. Not convenient when you are in a hurry.

Service was excellent and they went out of their way to make sure they had supplies even though the 101 was closed.

Stayed 4 nights. Room is clean. Easy access in the area. Breakfast is good.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel during my recent trips to Santa Barbara. The first week I stayed here was not memorable in that things pretty much went the way they should. The room was fine, had a spacious refrigerator, and ample space for me to work. The breakfast in the morning was adequate, serving a daily-rotating selection of scrambled eggs, mini cheese omelets, sliced sausage links, roasted potatoes, sausage patties, and french toast. You can make your own waffles, or grab various fruits, cereals, pastries, and juices. Three selections of coffee between a robust blend, regular blend, and decaf blend. Overall, breakfast was above average for this type of property. The desk employees at this property were all friendly and competent. They remembered my name. My laundry and dry-cleaning was well taken care of and put in my room when it arrived. They even held stuff for me over the weekend. The second week I stayed here, my experience was not as good. One day I came back only to see about six police cars, two county sheriff cars, and a sketchy-looking man being led to one of these cars in hand-cuffs. Not a good look. Furthermore, my room smelled — — and the smell got worse every day. Smelled like something was dying/rotting. I complained about it and nothing really got done. Mind you I was paying nearly $300/night to stay here. Also, my shower door was broken, as it kept sliding open while I was showering, which is a lot more annoying than it sounds.

When traveling and staying a short time, we try to choose a Hampton Inn. We can always count on clean rooms, comfortable beds, good amenities (breakfast), etc. This time, however we were disappointed. From not replacing the hair conditioner and ice bucket liner (not too terrible, but annoying) to a very poor Hampton Inn breakfast, this is a hotel we will not be staying out again when we visit family. When we went down for breakfast at 8:45 they were out of just about everything. I went to the front desk and was assured everything was being replenished. One person brought items out one at a time over a period of a half hour (and not everything was replaced). Spills on the counter and a large spill on the floor was not cleaned up (a cone was put by the floor spill — I guess it wasn’t his job! ).

The location in Goleta is very nice convenient too stores and my job. The room is very clean and large I had a Corner Room with a living room a minor kitchen and a very nice bathroom and bedroom they also provided complimentary toothbrush and comb that I had forgotten.

Access was extremely convenient for the airport. Nice, high ceilinged rooms, everything seemed very clean. All employees were very helpful! Hot breakfast options included little half English muffins w scrambled eggs bacon and cheese, as well as batches of scrambled eggs and sausage slices. Yogurt, dry and hot cereal, bananas and oranges as well as the usual suspects for breakfast drinks. The layout was a little odd, and the back access to rooms (100-106) area should be better identified w room numbers, lit and paved. Pool and hot tub seemed fine, didn't use. Was a 25 min Uber ride to State St on a Friday afternoon.

Quick and easy stay. Who can complain about free breakfast, especially if it was plentiful and good! Free coffee/tea all day was awesome as well. But the real reason why I gave them 5 stars was my wife and I left a pillow there and they were so quick to find it and ship it back to us! Also, the showers were in amazing shape and super cleaned/maintained. Beds were comfortable to sleep in as well. Definitely please by that alone. Thanks! =)

The hotel, lodging, breakfast & staff were superb. My son was really pleased with the fitness center. I highly recommend the hotel if you are in the area. NOTE: The Waze app has you turning off Hollister and going around the block to get into the drive at the hotel. There is a recently added left turn pocket off northbound Hollister that allows you to turn right into the hotel at the Citgo station. Beware, a motorcycle cop hangs out in that area. I saw him pull over 3 cars for violations at the intersection.

So clean. Just remodeled a few months ago. Breakfast is wonderful with waffles, biscuits and gravy, even hard boiled eggs (along with regular scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, etc. ) and opportunity for big families to sit together. Staff is kind and bring extra towels, shampoo and toothbrushes with a smile. Free parking. Awesome pool and hottub area. I'm going back next year!

Rooms were fine but the front desk staff were lacking. When we checked in the receptionist barely spoke. Hampton inn also talks about breakfasts packed for those on the run. They had them last time… not this time. Not overly impressed with this place.

Loved the place! The room was very well maintained and clean and the staff was very friendly. The only minor inconvenience was that the staff in the breakfast was a little behind and we had to be waiting for more food to be prepared, but I think it is understandable because of the holiday. Thank you very much for a great stay!

Very clean and the staff is very courteous Gillian at the front desk is well knowledgeable and very helpful she deserves a lot of kudos.

I LOVE The Hampton-Goleta. ALL the staff are Great, the rooms and grounds are beautifully maintained and FREE breakfast makes it always my first choice whenever I'm in the Santa Barbara-Goleta area! It never disappoints!

My reservation was cancelled due to me coming in after midnight, even though I had pre paid. Did not get the room that I had selected on-line.

Received an upgrade to a suite. Nice enough hotel, though could use an update/refurbishment. Very friendly staff. Typical Hampton breakfast, which is not a good thing. Pretty decent gym.

The stay at this hotel was wonderful! The room we had was very spacious and the complimentary breakfast was great. Very helpful and nice staff. Overall great! Our room was located next to a side entrance so it made parking a breeze! Loved it here!
