The front desk guy (Asian, average height, pretty overweight, maybe 50s? ) has to be the WORST person ever. I get you may hate your life or life itself, but what does that have to do with the rest of us? I had rented rooms since way back when, and only until dealing with you, have I ever had an issue. And why no one higher up the employee chain isn't dealing with this guy, I have no idea. Maybe someone's relative? I don't know and actually could care less, because no matter who you are or who you know, you shouldn't be allowed to be working in the hospitality industry… or anywhere else with that attitude. I should have dealt with this when I had the first issue, but lesson learned and I will be contacting management, owners, corporate, or whomever I have to, in an effort to benefit everyone else except this jerk. Everything would be better for everyone if this guy was gone. I would hope there would be hope for everyone, but this guy has real issues, acts like he owns the place, and if you don't want to accept a room you didn't reserve, tries to label you a "troublemaker" lol. You want trouble? You're about to get it.

I enjoy the place it's clean the people are friendly American virtual Dale talk I just like to place plus I'm rehabbing a bunch of rooms there these guys are great people.

They will ignore the "Do Not Enter" sign and enter your room. The room wasn't bad and check-in was pretty quick. I prefer privacy when staying at a hotel so I went ahead and turmed the "deadbolt" and then hung the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door. Came back to my room later that night and found the "deadbolt" removed from the inside and outside of the room door… they ignored the "Do Not Disturb" signs (2 of them) and I said no to room service… but they still entered my room.

Great place to rest & calm down. My room had 2 queen beds & a Jacuzzi tub! I don't know if it worked, tho. Nice, friendly, clean, convenient motel on Mountain View, Calif. It's 20 minutes to the most fabulous VA hospital in Palo Alto.

Got a good deal on Groupon, upgraded to a non smoking room upon arrival for $30 more. Front desk service is not excellent but they are not rude either. Breakfast on the weekends is continental but delicious and the staff there was very friendly. The bed was super comfy and the jacuzzi really hit the spot. Everything in the room was great except the rolling chair at the desk didn't roll, and I actually needed to use it… Can't wait till my next stay here it's one of my favorite places to stay, consistently good!

I've stayed here twice. Never had a problem. I wasn't paying attention when I selected the dates for my reservations this time and pressed accept. The front desk guy Lito refused to change my request or even here what I had to say. He kept interrupting me. He told me that he didn't want to talk to me. He hung up in my face. I've never felt so disrespected. They are trying to charge me a $140 change fee for changing the date of my reservation by one day. Why would I pay $140 to change the date when the room only cost $125 with fees. Definitely will not be returning. The only reason I was booking here again was because of the location of the event I was attending in the peninsula. The rooms are always dirty and is across the street from Hanky Panky a strip club. Save your money.

Run — don't walk — away. Although older, and with more smoking near the room than one usually finds in the SF Bay Area, this is a good place for families (kitchenette). Unfortunately, the Management only wants your money and is quite happy to tell lies about you if he thinks he can get more money for your room from someone else. Management canceled my upcoming (discounted) reservation (for tomorrow; in peak season) with crazy stories about: my room being left really dirt…y (was not; never have — and why wait 2 days to mention it? Housekeeping had their own issues) ; my asking him to ask a guest to stop smoking (not — I asked him to move the ash tray away from my front door, where smokers gathered). And, "because you were so unhappy here (which is why I booked a return stay, right?! ). The rest of the staff is very nice and the venue is convenient. But there are plenty of other places that won't sacrifice your comfort and safety in order to worship their wallets. All you have to do is play fair and be nice, guys. The rest of the issues are manageable.

Worst experience I have ever had in my entire life! Beware of the Maintenance employees vandalizing your vehicle while you are a guest here. And management doesn't hold them accountable despite having it on camera! Not to mention the clerk Harry is unprofessional and rude! He admitted never had dealing with this and not sure how to compensate me to giving me the silent treatment and refusing to provide any contact information for a manager! Not to meet the rooms are lacking housekeeping the walls are filthy (boogers, dirt, dead bugs) the jacuzzi bathtub is pushing all types of Rust particles from the jets and the linen was stained with coarse hairs between the sheets. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy unless you want to get your car scratched and nicked my careless maintenance guys whom refuse to give their name or take responsibility and whom supposedly dont speak English yet I heard him blaring RAP MUSIC in english.

Really nice, clean and comfortable rooms, great breakfast, friendly staff, close to nice restaurant shops, family friendly. It is our second time here. Highly recommended.

Pretty nice room with a whirlpool bathtub. Front desk was friendly and there's complementary popcorn and nachos. Would stay again for sure.

Very nice hotel for the price! Very clean, nice rooms, and a good breakfast. Close to all we needed to do in Palo Alto.

Nice staff, easy to find. They have a breakfast buffet but we missed it because we had to check-out very early. Clean room, well appointed with TV, small fridge, microwave, safe, bathroom with stand up shower, and writing desk. Apparently rooms are soon be remodeled.

The guy at front was rude and I didn't get the same treatment as the other people there. I had to come back to the office because he didn't even give me the Wi-Fi password nor our pass for breakfast. Once I was finally in the room a rude housekeeper came in to check who we were and accusing us of being there the previous week and we had left a mess when it was our very fist time at this hotel and definitely the last one. Overall I don't recommend it at all. When I arrived at check in there was another lady arguing with the same guy I should have taken that as a hint to move along to another place.

The rudest owner and front desk I have ever had to deal with. I am a seasoned traveler and have stayed at hotels all over the country. The sheets and towels were so bad I went and bought new ones. The second day I told house keeping I didn't need service. The front desk called the room and said service is required every other day. Ok but not necessary. The owner came with housekeeping and said we must clean your room and we are going to ask you to leave. At this point I'm dumbfounded and go to the front desk asking why they are kicking me out. They said that I refused cleaning, I said I didn't need it. I said I would be more than happy to let them inspect the room. It has been a total nightmare. It is a 1 star hotel that charges ridiculous amount of money because of the area they are in. This would be a forced last choice when I come back to this area.

Decent motel, convenient location. Horrible room design. Outlets near the bed are controlled by switches that also control wall lights. To use the outlets to charge devices the lights must be on all night. Crazy.

Despite the direct location on El Camino Real, the noise is tolerable. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and well maintained, even if the design is already some years old.
The staff is very friendly.
Big drawback is the too small breakfast room!

Affordable rates. Clean and quiet place no problem to found a parking space. Recommended!

Construction on three sides (walked in on cardboard). Thin walls. They called me and asked me my last name and when I checked in after I'd checked in six hours prior. Weird breakfast service. All around awkward stay.

Nice room, bed way too firm, and trust me, I LIKE firm. I had an accident in the bathroom which I thought I would clean up myself as a courtesy but also because it was very embarrassing. I used the cheap towels that they give you and proceeded to go down to the front desk to inform them of the accident and how sorry I was. I went to work and got a call from the manager screaming at me that I had to pay $100 for the towels and continued to berate me about my accident. I went to the front desk after work to apologize and get a new key card because they were ready to boot me. The man embarrassed me in front of other guests by going into the details of the already embarrassing incident. I was nothing but apologetic and they refused to give me towels for the rest of my stay. Also, the free “hot breakfast” was disgusting at best and inedible at worst. I had better food in jail. Nice rooms, good value, horrible management.

For the price (especially in this area…) not bad. Room had hardwood floor (no carpet) so easy to keep clean. TV missing remote and clock not working … really TIGHT parking spaces (but free popcorn & nachos in lobby). Hot Breakfast (I'm told). But starts after I'm gone…

My wife and I were completely surprised by the quality of this place! We were expecting just a room for the night but ended up with an in room jacuzzi for under $100, that's hard to argue with. Viraj at the front desk was very polite and helpful. The breakfast attendant was this super nice lady who's name I didn't catch. Unfortunately they don't serve a hot breakfast on weekends but what they had was fruit, a choice of 4 cereals, a bunch of breads, and amazingly good coffee! Seriously this place was a little gem in the SF area. Also best night's sleep we've had in a week of travelling. Big, comfy bed, lots of pillows, just a very pleasant experience in every way. I highly recommend staying here!

Very rude staff! Made a reservation through Hotwire and when we showed up we realized our truck would not fit in the parking lot. The front desk person asked us to park in the fire lane as the only option for parking and said she would just call us if we were being towed! Unacceptable! They refused to give any sort of reimbursement or even help us work through an alternative solution that wasn’t against the law!

Clean and modern room comfortable mattress can complain.

I hope the owner and see this and fix's this I stayed in your location for a week one of your workers did knock on my door walked in on me and then I spoke to someone at your desk some Filipino gentleman I told him that someone had ransacked my vehicle told him what room I was in ask them to look at the camera a week later did not get a response came into your breakfast area I didn't know you guys had guards because the older Hispanic lady act like she was a guard happy friendly like I was used to she bought her husband to work I had to watch novellas and whatever TV shows they watch ask them to change the channel your comment was to me when she was watching TV I recorded this you just in case the owner would like to see I didn't know you could bring your husband to work and he make breakfast free and which I have to pay for it get a room for in order to get My overall experience was I guess like the ratings 2.

Somewhat updated rooms, bathroom was older, closet shelves hadn't been cleaned in years. Thin walls but quiet space.

Quiet and pleasant place. At 3/4 San Francisco time.

Rooms are clean and comfortable but noisy. You can hear your neighbors, the hallway, and the street outside. They have a pretty bare bones breakfast too.

So now I'm in Redwood city. We're working at the Stanford. This is a pretty good place to stay. I've stayed at many different hotels. This place is pretty nice for the price. Large rooms, with kitchenette, and huge tub. There is a big difference between the the upstairs and downstairs. I've stayed there a few times. The upstairs is much nicer and way bigger than the downstairs The breakfast is not good at all. I'm just being honest.

Very nice manager. Typical American motel, with the entrance from the cohort directly into the room.

Subpar hotel. Hotel rooms were quite clean by US standards. More modern. You shouldn't expect too much from the promised hot tub. The staff is quite scrappy and not exactly friendly.

Friendly staff. Nachos, popcorn, and fresh cookies at check in. Comfy king size bed. Jacuzzi tub big enough for 2. Full kitchen. Definately coming back!

This is the worst place I've ever stayed! They had bed bugs or some kind of bug thay was biting me all night! The front desk guy was so total POS! I would rather sleep at a bus stop than this hotel!

Asked to be moved to second floor due to flies and guy stomping upstairs. The hotel staff became angry rude and borderline aggressive. He wanted to follow me to my room to see the flies. I felt very uncomfortable with this guy. I should have read the reviews on this family owned business. Disgusting. Truly sick place. Avoid this one especially if you are a woman. You can hear everything upstairs and guy tried to double bill me when I booked through another site. Stay Away!

Mediocre hotel, but I got lots of miles from Rocketmiles to stay there. For some odd reason, they have unlimited nachos, popcorn, and cookies in the lobby. Not super appetizing, but coming home from drinks, comes in handy. Interesting neighborhood with Hanky Panky gentlemans club across the street, Redwood Vape and Planned Parenthood in walking distance.

2nd time staying at this hotel in last month. It's recently been remodeled inside and out. Everything about it is great. From the comfort to the clean room to a nice Cali look. The price is right too. Complimentary breakfast is ok. They have popcorn and nachos in the lobby for snacks. I have not sampled those yet. The front desk staff has been friendly and helpful. Close enough to Stanford Pain Clinic and Hospital so great place for business or health trips.

The owner is rude and disrespectful my mother just got out of surgery at Stanford hospital and when we arrived the owner took the key out of my sister's hand and said we had to leave because there are no visitor's. I was very upset my mother just had an 8 hour surgery and she had to sit in a hot car and wait to find another room. We never even got inside the room, as a matter of fact we barely checked in for 5 minutes. I felt really disrespected no one should have to deal with that.

Rude. Nice before you pay. Once you pay then just plan rude. Maids knock way to early should wait till check out time.

Loud and noisy staff who couldn't follow simple requests, like no maid service. Came back to find a maid mopping my room with door wide open. Rude front desk people; poor English. One guy manning the front, with some short older guy who meanders in to tell the other guy what to do. They say one thing, then another. Comical. Rooms are ok, bed was fine, flat screen tv. Many better choices a stones throw away in the same area. I'm giving Days Inn a try next time.

Great stay. Nice clean beds, wooden linoleum floors, huge bathroom with jacuzzi bath tub. Breakfast was mediocre microwave pancakes, eggs, sausages n corn beef hash. The breakfast room was small but there's a nice patio outside the breakfast room.

Excellent service, rooms were always clean and comfortable. Staff was polite and courteous.

Had the room with the jacuzzi tub. Pretty nice shower, comfortable bed, very fast internet. It is no luxury resort, but if all you need is a room and a bed the value is fantastic.
